Scary … Unresponsive Plane Flying Over The Atlantic Ocean A small aircraft is currently being trailed after its pilot became unresponsive. The North American Aerospace Defense Command or NORAD initially sent out two American fighter jets to track the plane but now that it’s in Cuban airspace, a Cuban fighter jet is monitoring its activity. CNN reports : A Cuban fighter jet Friday was trailing a small aircraft that was unresponsive over the Atlantic Ocean and flying over Cuban airspace, NORAD said. The U.S. military launched a pair of jet fighters to trail the aircraft, but the U.S. planes broke off before reaching Cuban airspace 12 miles off the island’s coast, NORAD said. The plane was cruising at about 25,000 feet. Ted Soliday, executive director of the Naples, Florida, airport, where the plane was headed, told CNN that he did not know how many people are on board the six-seat aircraft. It’s believed the plane could be running out of fuel. “Once it gets up that high, it can cruise at good speed with low fuel use,” he said. “Five hours is a long time for that airplane.” Two F-15s had been flying with the plane east of Florida. The windows, according to a NORAD spokesman, were frosted and it was unknown how much fuel was left. NORAD was in touch with Cuban authorities via the U.S. Coast Guard. The U.S. military jets will not enter Cuban airspace, a NORAD spokesman said. The Socata TBM-700 light business and utility aircraft departed from Rochester, New York, with a flight plan to land in Naples, NORAD said. Via MailOnline : The notorious underwear bomber’s plot in 2009 to blow up a plane on Christmas Day failed because the explosives became ‘degraded’ after he wore the same pair of underpants for two weeks, according to a U.S. official. Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was on a suicide mission when he attempted to detonate a bomb in his underpants as the plane, en route from Amsterdam, approached Detroit. The bomb however failed to detonate aboard the flight, which was carrying nearly 300 people, but caused a brief fire that caused burns to his groin. He was sentenced to life without parole in February 2012 after he pleaded guilty to all charges on the second day of his trial the previous October. The head of the Transportation Security Administration said this week the bomb failed to detonate because of how long Abdulmutallab had been wearing his underwear. John Pistole told the Aspen Security Forum: ‘The bomber had had the device with him for over two weeks.’ Mr Pistole was then asked whether the bomb had become ‘damp’, to which he replied: ‘Let’s say it was degraded.’ During his trial, Abdulmutallab said the bomb in his underwear was a ‘blessed weapon’ to avenge poorly treated Muslims around the world. After the bomb failed to detonate, passengers pounced on Abdulmutallab and forced him to the front of Northwest Airlines Flight 253 where he was held until the plane landed minutes later. Well that’s what his dingy azz gets! He may not have downed the plane, but we’re sure he still managed to make the innocent passengers’ flight at least a bit uncomfortable by lighting his barely-washed butt cheeks up in smoke.

There’s the familiarity, the geographic proximity, and the fact that they have clicked from the start (not that she hasn’t with Nick, but it’s an even race at best). The pilot of a diverted Frontier Airlines plane is officially The Man. According to a Fox affiliate in Denver, the unnamed captain called a Domino’s in Cheyenne, Wyoming after a flight from Washington to Denver had to make an unplanned stop due to bad weather at its destination. He then ordered pizzas for his crew and all 160 passengers on board. We took them up to the front desk at the airport and they escorted our driver to the back and they handed the pizzas directly to the flight attendants,” says Domino’s manager Andy Ritchie. The plane had been on the runway for two hours when the pilot made his purchase.
