Emilia Clarke may already star on one hit HBO series, but while the Game of Thrones actress changed her look and learned to be a badass mother of dragons for her role as Daenerys Targaryen, she still feels like she’s better suited for Williamsburg than Westeros. “I’d give my right arm to be, like, a random extra on Girls . Just to walk past one of the scenarios. I’d love that more than anything,” Clarke said in a recent interview. Clarke added: “Only, without the wig, they wouldn’t recognize me,” referring to the fact that she looks completely different on Game of Thrones , as she sports brown hair and a much softer look in real life. GOT has made Emilia an Internet fan favorite with dozens of sites devoted to praising her looks and talent. She’s basically the opposite of Lena Dunham who gets plenty of attention online, but mainly in the form of tweets encouraging her to put her clothes back on. Still, Clarke says she dreams of a collaboration with Dunham. Not to knock Girls, but we think it would be something of a demotion for Emilia. Amassing a world-conquering army is slightly cooler than collecting STDs. Just sayin’. Since Vegas is pretty much the last stop in any celebrity’s career, we probably shouldn’t be too surprised that Britney Spears just started her own two year run at the Planet Hollywood in Vegas with a show called “Britney: Piece of Me.” And I guess she’s using the tour to kickstart her weight loss regimen. Judging from these pictures though, she’s still got a ways to go. So I’d hold off on buying tickets for a few months at least to give her time to work out all the kinks, and work off a few pounds. Ian Somerhalder is asking for a lot this year. The Vampire Diaries hunk turns 35 today, but he doesn’t want an expensive gift. Heck, he doesn’t want a gift of any kind, not for himself at least. He simply wants as many fans as possible to donate to his foundation in the same amount as the number of year he’s been on Earth. “I have a goal this year… we can get 1 million people of the 7 billion on the planet to donate $35 dollars,” Ian writes on the official Ian Somerhalder Foundation site, adding: “I know it sounds simple, but all donations big and small fuel our resources to continue expanding and making change for the voiceless of this planet: our skies, seas, energy, habitats and of course our furry friends. So if you can donate now, two months from now or at my birthday thank you. Or maybe you can donate less than six dollars a month over the next six months. If you can’t donate then you can spread the word about this year’s birthday wish.” Consider it done, Ian. Kanye West is totally in love. With himself? Yes, considering he told the BBC in an interview this week that he’s the biggest rock star on the planet . But also with Kim Kardashian, Kanye makes clear in that same Q&A, gushing over his baby mama and saying Kim “gave me everything. She gave me a family. She gave me a support system.” Kanye West: I Am #1 Rock Star on the Planet! And not only did Kardashian give Kanye daughter North West , she didn’t take anything from him. Namely, cold hard cash. “She was in a powerful enough situation where she could love me without asking me for money, which is really hard for me to find,” West said. The rapper, who has claimed self-defense in a lawsuit filed by an assaulted paparazzi member, also says he has plans in place to change the law when it comes to these nosy photographers. “I’m going to tell my daughter, by the time she understands what it was, ‘Man, me and your mother were in a completely different situation than you’re in,’ ” he says. “People could take pictures, people could climb over your fence, and you wouldn’t even get paid for it. You see all these checks that you getting at age 6 because people are taking your picture? … I made that happen, Nori. That’s what I’m going to tell her.” And, finally, West had a unique take on his infamous Taylor Swift speech interruption during the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. “To be a visionary, all you have to do is make decisions based off of your eyes instead of your ears and your memory,” he said. “So at the moment of the MTV awards, I made that decision based off of my eyes. I was like, ‘That’s not correct. That is invalid, completely invalid.’ Everybody else don’t move. That’s off their ears. … They’re enslaved.” You’ve gotta love this guy.
