She’s throwing a party in Canada! That’s right, Kylizzle headed North of the Border, where the drinking age is 18, to get legally hammered at Beachclub Montreal. Serena Williams Talks Befriending Her Rival In VOGUE, Speaks On Forgiveness Big congratulations to Serena Williams who covers the April 2015 issue of VOGUE magazine. Doesn’t she look beautiful? The cover story focuses largely on Serena’s friendship with tennis rival Caroline Wozniacki but also touches on her relationship with her sister and how she pushed herself to be more forgiving and return to Indian Wells tournament after being boo’ed. His account of his struggles caused her to reflect on how she was walking through her own life. “That’s when I realized I had to go back,” she says. “I always talk about forgiveness, but I needed to actually show it. Amid a slew of vows to undo Obama’s work and “restore the government by Constitution,” he spoke with a crown in Lynchburg about his plans if he makes it to office. Via FoxNews : Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, ticking off a litany of President Obama policies he opposes, promised Monday to return to a government by Constitution and “stand for liberty” as he officially announced his 2016 presidential bid. Cruz, speaking to an energetic crowd of students at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., drew from his background to address his faith and what he sees for the future of the country. As the first major presidential candidate to officially declare, he told the crowd to “imagine a president that finally, finally, finally secures the borders” and drew applause when he promised to “stand up and defeat radical Islamic terrorism.” Cruz continued his pledge by telling the crowd to “imagine a president who says I will honor the Constitution and under no circumstances will Iran be allowed to acquire a nuclear weapon.” Hmmm…he comes from a family with some interesting views on Black people . As you’ve probably heard, the 2015 Grammy Awards were held last night, and some celebs were openly miffed that they weren’t invited. In most cases, there was no real reason for them to attend, but in order to understand washed-up celebrity mentality you have to imagine giving an ice cream cone to a toddler, then taking it away and forcing him to watch as another kid devours it. Or, you can just think of LeAnn Rimes. When LeAnn isn’t bragging about contributing to a food drive , she’s reminding us all that she used to be a big deal in the world of music. Beck nearly had his big night ruined at the Grammy Awards on Sunday. The artist stunned many in attendance when his name was called as the Album of the Year recipient, with Kanye West actually jumping on stage and nearly interrupting Beck’s acceptance speech, 2009 MTV Video Music Awards style. But, as you can see below, Kanye laughed and went back to his seat before things got too awkward. HOWEVER, West was dead serious in later railing against the Grammys, saying Beyonce deserved to win Album of the Year and even adding that Beck ought to give her his trophy. How does Beck feel about this criticism? Just fine, thanks! “I was just so excited he was coming up,” Beck told reporters of Kanye’s stage appearance. “He deserves to be on stage as much as anybody. How many great records has he put out in the last five years right? “You can’t please everybody, man. I still love him and think he’s genius. Taylor Swift had quite the night at the 2015 Grammy Awards . Not only did GIFs of Taylor dancing go viral, but she managed to avoid getting Kanye’d. (That was Beck’s honor this year.) All in all, a pretty good night for T-Swift. So how did she celebrate? By hanging with her besties and some cats, of course: Taylor Swift’s Post Grammy Plans Note the painful awkwardness of the moment that Nancy O’Dell says Swift will be hanging out with “lots of men” after the show. Taylor seems momentarily taken aback, but she recovers gracefully and informs O’Dell of how it’s really gonna go down: “I’m not gonna walk home with any men tonight,” Taylor quickly corrects the clueless ET host. “I’m gonna go hang out with my friends, and then I’m gonna go home and hang out with the cats.” It’s good to hear that Taylor isn’t shying away from the the title of World’s Most Fabulous Cat Lady, but she didn’t quite succeed in her goal of avoiding all forms of dude drama. Not only did her ex John Mayer provide one of the evening’s highlights when he took the stage with Ed Sheeran, but Taylor posed with Diplo in a selfie that seemed to suggest the beef between the two was – at least temporarily – squashed. Of course, it wouldn’t be the Grammys unless Taylor was surrounded by exes and haters. We think next year she should send a message by bringing on of her cats as her date.
