O.J. Simpson is expected in court Monday as he asks a judge to grant him a new trial on grounds that his former attorney mishandled his case. Nevada inmate No. 1027820, who’s serving a 9-to-33-year sentence, will be in Clark County District Court for the start of his five-day hearing. Acquitted of murder in 1995, the NFL great was later convicted in 2008 of leading a sports memorabilia heist at gunpoint in a Las Vegas hotel room. O.J. never testified in his murder trial or in the 2008 kidnapping/robbery case when he was convicted, but is expected to take the stand now. On what grounds? And how does he think he can win? Much of his testimony is expected to point fingers at his former attorney, Yale Galanter, who Simpson believes fumbled the handling of his case. Simpson said he told Galanter he planned to confront two sports memorabilia dealers to retrieve personal items he believed were stolen from him. “I fully disclosed my plan to [Galanter], and he advised me that I was within my legal rights,” Simpson wrote, saying that his attorney knew his plans. O.J. added that Galanter told him it was acceptable as long as he did not trespass or use physical force, and that the lawyer’s mistakes did not end there. Simpson also alleged in the statement that Galanter failed to tell him of a plea deal that would have gotten him two years in prison, the AP reported. “Had I understood that there was an actual chance of conviction, I would have accepted such an offer,” Simpson wrote in a sworn statement. His appeal to the Nevada Supreme Court was denied in 2010. As his current sentence stands, O.J., 65, won’t be eligible for parole until he is 70.

The yellow dress above, a photo of which employees reportedly posted backstage alongside a picture of Big Bird and the caption: Who Wore It Best? Among other ways in which higher-ups made fun of Curry, according to the book: Executive Producer Jim Bell “commissioned a blooper reel of Curry’s worst on-air mistakes.” Prior to her ousting in June, boxes of Curry’s items went missing and somehow ended up in a coat closet. It was known around the office that Bell wanted to replace Curry with Savannah Guthrie and even referred to the plans to fire her as “Operation Bambi.” Bell has denied these charges, which were published today in The New York Times . As for Curry? She is trying to stay out of the spotlight, hanging out at her family house in Connecticut. The reporter remains “profoundly hurt and humiliated” by her dismissal, Stelter writes, concluding: “She told friends that her final months were a form of professional torture.”

Rob Kardashian now has something in common with Justin Bieber . Looks? Popularity? Talent? No, no and no. Both celebrities are under investigations for recent actions related to their temper. According to TMZ, Rob went off on a photographer yesterday after the woman snapped a picture of the reality star shirtless. Kardashian allegedly responded by swiping the woman’s equipment and making a run for it, prompting the paparazzo to file a robbery report. The photo agency specifically says Kardashian took its employee’s memory card and promised to return it at some point. Police are looking into the incident. In Rob’s defense (sort of… we guess), he has been open recently about his weight gain and his plans to get back in shape as quickly as possible.

After a winter full of twists, turns, cat fights and The Bachelor spoilers , it all came down to this. The 17th winner of ABC’s reality hit is revealed at last. After four hometown dates, three emotional overnight dates and an intense Women Tell All Special, The Bachelor finale delivered more drama. There was the letter. The talks with family. The tears. The turmoil. The joy. The painful decision between two women, Catherine Giudici and Lindsay Yenter. So who did our man Sean Lowe pick in the end, and was there any last-second game-changer? Follow the jump to see who won, and share your reaction. Spoilers ahead, obviously. Sean Lowe just gave his final rose to … Catherine Giudici! Surprised? Thrilled? Enraged? Confused? Shrugging your shoulders? The Bachelor has a way of instilling all of these emotions, often simultaneously. In the end, despite all the buzz over the letter, it played out mostly like past seasons, with both of the final two appearing at the final rose ceremony. Lindsay Yenter was rejected. It was devastating. Sean Lowe then gave his final rose to Catherine Giudici and rode off into the sunset on an elephant. End of sad, somewhat over-hyped story. At least when it came to the letter. It ended up being from Catherine, but despite two hours of misdirection from host Chris Harrison, she did not break up with him. It was a love letter. He proposed. She said yes. They’re engaged. Or even more than that?! On the After the Final Rose special, we’ve been promised another announcement re: Sean and Catherine. Are they still together? What are their plans? Chris promised this “breaking” reveal on After the Final Rose . Big surprise. First, Lindsay Yenter came out and confronted Sean for the first time since that day in Thailand, and she handled things about as well as she could have. Then, the happy couple reunited and gushed about one another. A lot. The announcement teased for almost three hours? They are very much still together and engaged … and getting married on ABC, wedding date TBA. A little anticlimactic there, ABC, but we’re happy they’re still happy.
