WATCH: Joel Kinnaman In Way Over His Head in Martin Scorsese-Approved Easy Money

Before he skulked the streets of Seattle on The Killing and nabbed the role of Alex Murphy in the upcoming RoboCop reboot, Joel Kinnaman made a splash in his home country of Sweden with the crime drama Easy Money (nee Snabba Cash ). The Weinstein Co. snapped up the pic, which also put director Daniel Espinoza ( Safe House ) on Hollywood’s radar, and will debut it stateside this July… with the hefty endorsement of none other than Martin Scorsese. Finally (!) we have the first domestic trailer for Easy Money , in which Kinnaman’s pretty-boy business major, craving the wealthy lifestyle he never had growing up, becomes entangled with warring crime lords in Stockholm and finds himself in way over his head. In Easy Money , which screened to a packed house last weekend at the LA Film Fest , Kinnaman stars as JW, a small-town opportunist who attends business school by day and drives cabs at night. His dorm room walls are covered with fashion inserts from mens’ magazines, the blueprints by which he fakes his way into the upper-class social circle that he longs to be a part of. There’s a rich girl, Sophie, who catches his eye, and privileged bankers’ sons he befriends, but as much as JW is consumed by his need to be accepted by into this world of wealth and class, he’s acutely aware that he’s living a lie. Enter opportunity, in the form of local gangster Abdulkarim (Mahmut Suvakci), who has a task for JW: Pick up prison escapee Jorge (Matias Varela) for a small fortune, no questions asked. JW complies, seeing the chance to finally seize the life he dreams of. But as a rival gang’s operative (Dragomir Mrsic) begins questioning his own priorities — namely, the young daughter he hardly knows — the stakes escalate as all players follow their own agendas in the pursuit of a payday. Presented with English subtitles, Easy Money (based on the novel by Jens Lapidus) will be released on July 27, and as the domestic trailer hints at, Espinoza’s storytelling transcends the language barriers; his weaving of storylines and character motivations becomes impressively engrossing as Easy Money reaches its climax, bolstered by solid performances and a layered editing style. U.S. Soccer Team Snubs Troops, Apologizes

The U.S. soccer team is facing considerable backlash for snubbing American troops in Guatemala Monday, but claims it was all a misunderstanding. Team America flew in for a World Cup qualifying match, where troops gathered on the tarmac and cheer them on to victory in Central America. When the guys got off the plane, they walked right to the waiting bus and peaced out, though, without even an acknowledgement or thank you. Some of the troops were understandably insulted. Some soldiers’ friends and family took to Facebook to express their disgust. Among the many choice comments posted after the perceived slight: “What a disgrace that a team that wears American colors can’t take five minutes to acknowledge the soldiers that fight for what those colors represent.” A rep for the team apologized, saying, “The players and staff were simply unsure of the correct protocol in terms of engaging the military members.” “[We] weren’t sure if they were welcoming them or providing security.” Their apology went over well with the troops, supposedly, so that’s good. As for the outcome of the game … we have no earthly idea.

Supreme Court Throws Out "Birther" Lawsuit

Somewhere, Donald Trump is so pissed … and quickly moving on to think up ways he can zing Miss Pennsylvania Sheena Monnin on the morning show circuit. The U.S. Supreme Court announced it will not hear an appeal of a lawsuit by plaintiffs – including Buena Park, Calif., Pastor Wiley Drake – claiming that Barack Obama is not a natural-born citizen and so cannot legitimately hold the presidency. The nation’s highest court threw out the case , hopefully the last of its kind. The Prez scores a rare win … that he’d already “won” several times . Santa Ana-based U.S. District Judge David Carter as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit had previously ruled that the plaintiffs did not have legal standing. Putting the matter to rest, the Supreme Court upheld that ruling. Probably because Obama was born in Hawaii … imagine that. More interestingly and legitimately, a report recently suggested Obama may have once lied about being born in Kenya to boost his literary resume.

Jersey Shore Cast: BALLING After Inking New Contracts

With this much cash money flowing in, it’s amazing the Jersey Shore cast still does its own laundry to go with all that hardcore gym and tanning action. The roving gang of hooligans from Seaside Heights, N.J., were angling for an $10,000 a season not so long ago. Nowadays? Chump change. The Situation, Pauly D and Snooki are each taking home $150,000 per EPISODE, according to a new report … or $1.8 million per season. Man. Hey, advertisers pay MTV big bucks because you love to watch Deena and Snooki nude and making out. Don’t hate the players, hate the game. That’s not including a reported $400,000 signing bonus they got at the beginning of the season, or additional money for reunion specials, etc. The rest of the cast isn’t doing quite that well, but JWoww still brings in about $100,000 per episode and Vinny Guadagnino makes $90,000 per. Sometime lovebirds Ronnie and Sammi each bring in about $80,000 per installment, while newcomer Deena Cortese earns $40,000 an episode. Must suck to make that much less than your colleagues, but $40,000 a week to get wasted, flash your kooka and get arrested in mid-day? That’s good work if you can get it.

Loris Kraemerh Naked and Hot for Fashion of the Day

Loris Kraemerh is a Brazilian model doing it right by getting naked for fashion and not even the kind of high end fashion you’d expect a bitch to get naked for, you know one of those game changer, career altering shoo that propels her into the mainstream of fashion…..this bitch gets naked for some obscure photoshoot showcasing her great ass and titties, that isn’t even for a fucking magazine or brand, but maybe for her portfolio, or the photographer’s portfolio, that she probably didn’t even get paid to do….my kind of fucking girl…naked in pictures for no real reason…..other than that she can…and looks good doing it.

Irina Shayk GQ Germany July 2012 of the Day

Irina Shayk is fantastic. If all girls looked likee Irina Shayk, I’d probably be less impressed with how good she is, because I’d be too busy trying to fuck every fucking girl I saw, or more likely, trying to control my boners everywhere I went…along with every fucking dude, cuz she is amazing and she probably knows it, that’s why she’s fucking top Soccer players who are likely gay, you know cuz it give her visibility she deserves, even if Kate Upton’s fat ass is trying to cast a fat shadow on her Russia greatness, I mean assuming you think Russians are greatness, because you haven’t been threated by Russians in the mob for no reason other than that they are crazy, so you can appreciate her cold as ice spy accent and not shit yourself when you hear it….Not that I’m speaking for experience or anything….

Melissa Satta Flashes her Nipple on the Beach of the Day

Melissa Satta is some Italian showgirl, whatever the fuck that means, I am thinking either a glorified stripper, or a back-up dancer, who probably isn’t showing a large group of people for the first time in these pics, if anything, it is probably her thing, that’s why she invested in implants, you know cuz implants always lead to more money for girls in the service business….and by service I mean whores. Luckily, she is also some Soccer or “Football” if you’re a Euro, groupie/slut/WAG/ girl who socceer dudes knock up and marry cuz Soccer dudes love whores who respect their need and understand their need to fuck other sluts in neighboring cities, but don’t complain about it cuz they like the good life soccer fame brings them, cuz in Europe soccer players are Gods… Here is her nipple flash on the beach….
