Adam Lambert is in full-on album promotional mode. A few days after releasing the cover art for “Trespassing,” the former American Idol favorite is taking fans behind the scenes of his upcoming music video for the first single off that CD, “Better Than I Know Myself.” “Sometimes you screw up or you say something to hurt your partner’s feelings, or you haven’t been supportive,” Adam says below. “This song basically owns that, says, ‘Look, I’m sorry. Sometimes I’m not perfect but without you I don’t know what I would do with myself. Alex Da Silva Sentenced to 10 Years For Rape

Former So You Think You Can Dance choreographer Alex Da Silva has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for raping a former dance student, reports say. Da Silva was arrested back in 2009 for a whole host of felonies. The 43-year-old was charged with sexually assaulting four women, all former dance students of his between the ages of 20 and 26 at the time. Sick. Alex Da Silva on So You Think You Can Dance Da Silva was convicted of one count of rape and one count of assault with intent to rape. The jury deadlocked on the other charges, which were dismissed. Da Silva appeared on Seasons 1-4 of SYTYCD (above, mentoring now- DWTS pro Chelsie Hightower). He was ordered to register as a sex offender for life. Fellow one-time SYTYCD mainstay Shane Sparks was also charged with a sex offense recently, pleading guilty to unlawful sex with a minor.

You know… some statements just set people up for failure. Gucci Mane says he’ll never go back to jail. After his release from prison Sunday (December 11), the Atlanta rapper says he’s tired of going to jail and is confident that his latest penitentiary bid will be his last. “This is the last time I think I’ll ever be in jail,” Gucci told XXLMag.com. “I really feel that way.” For Gucci, who was given a six-month county jail sentence on September 13th after pleading guilty to two counts of battery, two counts of reckless conduct and one of disorderly conduct, his latest prison bid gave him time to reflect. “It was a time for me to sit back and just refocus the whole way I do things, man,” Gucci said. “The times away from my fans just made me want to grind, get in the studio, go to my shows and appreciate my job and what I do now.” Yeah. Lil Boosie Sentenced to Eight Years For Drug Smuggling

Dr. Conrad Murray , you’ve got company. Okay, not really, but rapper Lil Boosie was sentenced to eight years in prison for conspiring to smuggle drugs into prison. Three times over. Usually not a smart idea. Boosie, who was featured on the ’07 hit “Wipe Me Down,” was in court Tuesday, pleading guilty to three counts of conspiring to bring drugs into a penal institution. The judge sentenced Boosie to eight years. Of course, Boosie has bigger problems , namely that he’s also accused of first-degree MURDER in the death of a 35-year-old man and may face the death penalty. With the drug case now behind him, he’ll be in jail regardless, but Boosie’s murder trial is set to begin in April. Suddenly the drug smuggling makes more sense.

Chris Brown is still on probation after pleading guilty to assaulting Rihanna in February 2009. The singer admitted striking his then-girlfriend in a rented car after leaving a pre-Grammy Awards party two years ago. A nu-de photograph of Chris Brown was leaked online on Friday, showing the singer standing in from of a bathroom mirror, taking the photo with his iPhone, reports MTV. Brown was sentenced to five years of probation and six months of community service and was ordered by the courts

Charlie Sheen May Take Jail Time

Just because CBS agreed to pay Charlie Sheen upwards of $1 million per episode does not mean that the Two and a Half Men star’s worries are over — Sheen still has to sort out those allegations that he threatened his wife at knife point on Christmas Eve. Instead of going to trial, TMZ is reporting that the star is seriously considering pleading guilty and serving 30 days in jail. With good behavior, Sheen’s prison stay could be reduced to 17 days. Now, if only Sheen’s criminal defense attorney could just convince the Aspen jail to loosen up on that smoking policy … [ TMZ ]

No Po-po For Li-Lo

It appears Lindsay Lohan will not be receiving a po-po’s welcome when she returns back to Los Angeles from the Cannes Film Festival now that the arrest warrant issued to the 23-year-old has been revoked. The former mean girl, who was due in court yesterday for a mandatory court hearing, pulled a no-show claiming that her passport was stolen, but a judge rejected that as a valid excuse and issued the warrant. However, that warrant was cancelled when Lindsay handed over 100 thousand dollar bail. She is set to appear at a new hearing Monday morning. Now, Li-lo may not be headed for the big house…but chances are she’ll be ordered to wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet and subjected to weekly drug tests when she gets back. Lohan has been on probation since August 2007 after pleading guilty to misdemeanor drug charges and no contest to three driving charges.
