Fair warning: Depending on your opinion of Aubrey Plaza , you’re either going to find this trailer incredibly endearing or impossibly irritating. Skin Central, as it turns out, finds her adorable, and so we’re pretty into this red-band trailer for Aubrey’s new movie The To Do List (2013), about a young woman who makes a list of all the sex acts she’d like to try (get it? “The to DO List?”). The only creepy part? Aubrey’s playing a high school senior trying to accomplish all this before she goes off to college, but hey– high school kids are usually 18 by the time they graduate, right? Some of ’em, anyway? (For the record, Aubrey is 28 in real life). There’s no nudity in this trailer (just a lot of dirty talk), and The To Do List doesn’t hit theaters until February 14, 2013 , but you can get an eyeful of Aubrey’s Parks and Recreation co-stars Rashida Jones and Amy Poehler right here at MrSkin.com!
Former Bachelorette star Ashley Hebert , who famously rejected Ben Flajnik, is trying to give Courtney Robertson the benefit of the doubt. She really is. But while Ash admits she didn’t find Court as despicable as usual on this week’s episode of The Bachelor, she’s totally calling her out for one thing: Ripping off her so-called heartfelt vows from Sex and the City! Courtney Robertson Hometown Date “First of all, I do have to say that Courtney’s ceremony was a little bit of a rip-off idea – because we did that on my season, with William,” recalls Hebert. “And she blatantly stole her vows from Sex and the City !” In their faux wedding, Courtney memorably told Ben, “I am looking for love. Real love. Passionate, consuming, can’t-live-without-each-other love.” Sarah Jessica Parker said, “I am someone who is looking for love. Real love. Ridiculous, inconvenient, consuming, can’t-live-without-each-other love.” Remember? To Mikhail Baryshnikov, from the series finale? When Carrie breaks it off with the Russian? Right before Big tracks her down in Paris? Anyway, Ashley Hebert is like the rest of us – flummoxed by Courtney. “There are some people I can read really well, but I can’t figure her out,” Hebert continued. “I’m trying to give her the benefit of the doubt!” “But I’m trying to figure out if she’s just trying to find a sweet way to tell him that she loves him, or if she’s just trying to move on to the next round.” “Is this forced? Is this real? I’m having a really hard time figuring it out.” You and us both, Ash. But Hebert, who turned down Ben’s proposal in preparation to accept J.P. Rosenbaum’s (they are still engaged), thinks it’s working. “You can see it in his face, ‘This is it.’ And he believes her,” she says. “If I were the other girls and I was watching this back, I would be so upset.” “He pretty much married Courtney, pretty much had sex with her when they went skinny-dipping. You know, it’s like, what a rip-off for the other girls.” “Especially if he doesn’t end up with Courtney!” For those fans who are shocked that he’s not going to end up with Kacie Boguskie , who was let go this week, Hebert says that she realized something. “I think Ben sees Kacie as a friend, not a lover,” she says. “I wish she had acted more like a woman, instead of a little girl, with the batons and the band.” And as for Kacie’s question – “What the f–k happened?!” – Hebert says simply that “Courtney happened. After knowing Ben. I think he will choose Courtney.” Click here to see what The Bachelor spoilers we’ve read say about that.
Jessica Biel debuted her engagement ring from Justin Timberlake Saturday. We don’t have photos to prove it, as the notoriously private couple would never flaunt such a thing (they’re the anti-Kardashians). But it happened . The actress, 29, was seen getting cozy with her man, 31, at a Saturday Night Live after-party, the first time Biel went out in public with her sparkler. It was a rare public display of affection for a couple who doesn’t often step out together and who didn’t even announce their own engagement . They usually don’t even attend premieres of the other’s films together, so that the person starring gets the full spotlight for their work each time. This time, though, Biel, 29, and Timberlake, 31, “were very lovey all night and kissed a few times,” a guest at the Ristorante Asellina party says. The couple, who started dating in 2007, celebrated Timberlake’s appearance on SNL as Grammy-winning folk sensation Bon Iver with other guests. Evan Rachel Wood, Sports Illustrated cover girl Kate Upton , David Alan Grier, Seth Meyers, Chloe Sevigny, Natasha Lyonne, Andy Samberg, Jason Sudeikis, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Kenan Thompson and Maya Rudolph were all on hand. Also spending time with them: former SNL star Amy Poehler and current cast mate Kristen Wiig, who “loved the ring and chatted [Biel] up about it.” Justin and Jessica are currently trailing Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in our favorite couples tournament matchup . ‘American Horror Story’ is another new show that received surprise nominations. By Jocelyn Vena Zooey Deschanel in “The New Girl” Photo: FOX Sure, “30 Rock,” “Modern Family” and “Glee” all received Golden Globe nominations on Thursday (December 15), but a bunch of brand-new shows also find themselves up for statues at the broadcast. “New Girl,” “American Horror Story” and even America’s newest guilty pleasure, “Revenge,” all nabbed some kind of nod. The Comedy/ Musical Series nomination for Fox’s Zooey Deschanel vehicle “New Girl” is a bit of a surprise. The rookie sitcom follows Actress – Comedy nominee Deschanel as she plays a recently heartbroken schoolteacher who moves in with three single guys. From there, wackiness ensues. A win for Deschanel (who goes up against heavy-hitters like Tina Fey, Laura Linney and Amy Poehler) would bring some fresh blood to the broadcast. While it’s commendable that new shows are getting recognized, it’s surprising that Poehler managed to earn a nomination for her turn as Leslie Knope but that “Parks and Recreation” wasn’t nominated in the Comedy/ Musical Series category. Living on the polar opposite spectrum, FX’s creepy, soapy “American Horror Story” is an unexpected contender in the Drama Series category. The show is a frightening look at relationships and suburbia, where sometimes the decisions made by the living turn out to be more frightening than the things that go bump in the night. Jessica Lange is up for Supporting Actress. Can the show beat out a show like “Boardwalk Empire” or “Game of Thrones”? Probably not, but it’s nice recognition for one of TV’s most compelling new series. If anything, Lange’s portrayal of L.A.’s nosiest neighbor, Constance, deserves some love. Madeleine Stowe probably won’t take home a trophy for her portrayal of the lovably evil Victoria Grayson on “Revenge” in the Best Actress – Television Series Drama category, but her nomination comes as a delightful acknowledgement of that show’s undeniable ability to keep viewers entertained week after week as they tune in to see what happens to the Hamptons’ richest and most powerful. The most predictable nods, perhaps, go to critical favorites and awards-show darlings like “30 Rock,” “Mildred Pierce,” “The Big Bang Theory” and “Modern Family.” But what does come as a surprise is the fact that “Breaking Bad” was snubbed in the Drama Series category, given the show’s critical praise and fan fervor. Hosted by Ricky Gervais for the third straight time, the Golden Globe Awards will air on Sunday, January 15, on NBC. Tiger Woods made a rare television appearance last night on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon – the golfer’s first such interview since the late 2009 “incident.” We don’t have to get into Rachel Uchitel , the car crash and everything else. Fallon started off asking Woods what he’s been up to the last year and a half. “Oh, nothing, nothing… Playing bad golf,” the champion said, smiling. “From a comedian’s stand-point and my monologue writers, thank you,” Fallon said, speaking for all of us. “Your awful pain, we laughed at your pain.” Even Tiger had to chuckle when Fallon added: “Not even making jokes, it kind of wrote itself. Balls, shaft, holes, foursomes … it really writes itself!” Woods had a fairly good time after that, talking about his charitable foundation, his recent top-10 finish and his bachelor pad/backyard golf course. Later, Woods, Fallon and Parks and Recreation star Amy Poehler demonstrated Tiger’s new golf video game (ostensibly his reason for being there). Rachel Dratch, 44, recently told us that her pregnancy has a “crazy story” behind it. However, she’s not quite ready to share. “I’ve always been kind of private,” she said. “So then I’m like, ‘Why do I need to tell people?’ I would want to know but…” Seems Amy Poehler‘s newborn Abel already has a baby best bud: on Tuesday, Aug. 24, former Saturday Night Live star Rachel Dratch welcomed a son, Eli, in New York City. “She’s doing great and the baby’s doing great,” a source confirms to us exclus
