André “André 3000” Benjamin and Antwan “Big Boi” Patton created Outkast as high school students in 1991. They released their debut album Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik in 1994. The single “Player’s Ball” reached number one on the Billboard. They then honed in on their sound to release ATLiens in 1996. The LaFace Records album debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 chart, and it sold nearly 350,000 copies in its first two weeks of release. The album spawned the singles “Elevators (Me & You)”, “ATLiens”, and “Jazzy Belle”. Since its release, ATLiens has been listed by several magazines and critics as one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time. As Outkast gained popularity, their creativity continued to grow. In 2003 the duo released he double album Speakerboxxx/The Love Below which would eventually win the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. Today we wait in anticipation for the duo to return and release another album, but we think thats highly unlikely.
Take this, Kardashians. Go ahead and suck on it, Duggars. Not even close, Wilkinson-Basketts! The Roloffs now have bragging rights that no other group of relatives on reality television can match. We mean this both literally and officially. On Monday, Matt Roloff surprised Instagram followers by sharing two very sweet photos on his official social media account, both of which were accompanied by a caption that explained an impressive family achievement. We’ll go ahead and let Matt explain on his loved ones’ behalf: “The Roloff family’s very exciting news to share with you all… We have – along with all of YOU – made history,” he wrote to open this caption, adding in more detail: “We’ve been awarded by the Guinness Book of World Records for the most family-focused reality television shows in the history of television!! “We couldn’t have done it without all of you. “If you have been a fan for a while, help us share the exciting news by sharing this photo on social media and mentioning how long you have been watching #LPBW. “We appreciate you guys! @mattroloff @rolofffarms #littlepeoplebigworld #theroloffs #therolofffamily #worldrecord.” Wow, huh? We had no idea this even was a record one could achieve. But Little People, Big World has been on the air since 2005. As you can maybe see in the photo above, the series hit the 298-episode mark in January, which was apparently the figure needed to propel the Roloffs to the top. For comparison’s sake: Keeping Up with the Kardashians has aired 214 episodes, while 19 and Counting may have threatened this figure if TLC had not canceled the series in the wake of that Josh Duggar molestation scandal. At the time of its axing, that family-based program had aired 227 installments. This news comes at an interesting time for the show and for the family as a whole. There’s been chatter among fans regarding the series’ future, based on Matt’s bombshell news that he’s moving to Arizona . It’s unclear at the moment if this will have any impact on TLC renewing Little People, Big World for a new season. The past few episodes of the show have also focused more than ever on tension between Matt and Amy, both of whom seem sick of working so closely together and definitely sick of living so close to each other. This tension has been heightened of late because both Matt and Amy are involved in serious romantic relationships. What might happen to the series if Matt marries Caryn Chandler and/or Amy marries Chris Marek? Again, we don’t know. But as you can see by the comparisons we made above, Little People, Big World is not in any danger of losing this record any time soon. Its flown past the 300-episode milestone at this point and, even if it ends after this season, no other family-oriented reality show appears to be close. So… congratulations to the Roloffs. Source: Jason Miller / Getty Kevin Durant Says He Can See Himself Retiring from Basketball at 35 Even though he won his second Finals MVP last week, Warriors star Kevin Durant told ESPN on Monday that he could see himself retiring from the game of basketball at age 35, about five years from now. “This game, your craft, you have to continue studying it,” said Durant. “No matter how much you enjoy it, nobody wants to be in school that long. I know I don’t. At some point, you have to be ready to graduate. Thirty-five, that’s just a number in my mind.” “I heard him say that, but I’ll believe it when it happens,” says Rich Kleiman, his business partner. Durant currently has 20,913 career points and is on pace to challenge Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all time regular season scoring record of 38,387. However, Durant claims that the record is not on his mind. “Because it’s not about the record,” Durant said Friday. “I can leave the game knowing I did everything I wanted to do, my way, on my terms. That’s how I want to leave the game. And if I happen to have all these accolades and these accomplishments, then that’s cool. If not, I’m still cool.”
Kailyn Lowry … the girl's love life isn't boring, we'll say that much! She always seems to find herself involved in some sort of drama or another, whether it's with exes, or — no, come to think of it, it's pretty much all drama with exes. Although she and Jo Rivera, the father of her first son, Isaac, are on good terms and have been for a while, we can't say the same for her relationship with Javi Marroquin, the father of her second child. After countless cheating accusations, a trip to Marriage Boot Camp , and just so many hurtful words and actions in general, Kailyn and Javi's divorce was finalized in late 2016, right around the time she got pregnant by Chris Lopez. We're still not sure exactly what happened there, but it seems like Chris was a friend from college who she was occasionally hooking up with, and obviously they weren't too careful with birth control, and that's how little Lux came to be. We do know that she was never in a relationship with Chris in the same way she was with Jo or Javi, and that Chris had another girlfriend throughout most or all of her pregnancy. She's accused him several times of being a deadbeat dad , and he's denied those accusations, but since he refuses to appear on Teen Mom 2 and since he's not out there doing interviews or anything, we really don't know the specifics. All we know for sure is that whatever went down between Kailyn and Chris was very, very bad. And in this new sneak peek for this week's episode, she says it was bad enough to turn her off of men altogether. In the clip, Kailyn's with her podcast crew, getting ready to record an episode, so they're talking about possible topics for discussion. Her co-host, Lindsie Chrisley, suggests they talk about freezing eggs, but Kail has a different idea in mind. “Truthfully, Lindsie, I'm gonna be honest with you, like I wanna talk about how I wanna bleach my asshole,” she says. “I wanna talk about that.” Whatever floats your boat, girl. Another friend asks what the point of such a procedure would be, and Kailyn explains that “I would want it to look clean if I were having sexual relations with someone.” Fair enough. Another possible topic would be dating, but she says that's “too complicated,” and knowing what we know now, about how she hooked up with Javi for a little bit and also dated her friend Dom , that seems accurate. Someone asks if she was looking for a girl or a guy, and she says that she doesn't have a preference, but “I feel like a girl would get me more, like they have more patience.” “But,” she adds, “I also compare everybody to Chris, and right now, every guy is like Chris, like, I want nothing to do with you.” It's not like that relationship somehow changed her sexual orientation though — she's always been open about being bisexual, and she had dated women before him. But after having been with him, she says “I just want to stay far away from men.” Again, fair enough. Her hookup with Javi happened after the conversation would have taken place, so obviously she's not swearing off the entire gender, but if she wants to be a little more cautious about who she dates, more power to her. Last week, the food world lost a true icon when Anthony Bourdain was found dead of an apparent suicide in a hotel room in France. He was 61 years old. Days later, details about the events surrounding Bourdain’s death are slowly beginning to trickle in, but the question of what could have driven one of the most widely-envied men on the planet to take his own life remains unanswered. Fans and media outlets were quick to point out some unusual social media activity from Bourdain’s longtime girlfriend, Asia Argento, in the hours before the news of his passing became public knowledge. An image in which the actress is seen wearing a shirt that reads “F-ck Off,” coupled with photos of Argento apparently vacationing with a male friend in France prompted a widespread theory that Bourdain was distraught over relationship problems. In the final months of his life, Bourdain was an outspoken advocate of the #MeToo movement, and his activism brought him close to some of the most high-profile victims of sexual harassment in Hollywood, including the actress Rose McGowan. Bourdain and McGowan quickly became close friends, and today, she published an open letter in which she addresses both his death and the rumors about his alleged relationship troubles. “Sitting across from me is the remarkable human and brave survivor, Asia Argento, who has been through more than most could stand, and yet stand she does,” the letter reads. “She stood up to her monster rapist and now she has to stand up to yet another monster, suicide. The suicide of her beloved lover and ally, Anthony Bourdain.” McGowan goes on to claim that Bourdain and Argento were in an open relationship, and she implies he would not have been upset by the sight of Argento with another man: “Anthony and Asia had a free relationship, they loved without borders of traditional relationships, and they established the parameters of their relationship early on,” McGowan states. “Asia is a free bird, and so was Anthony. Was. Such a terrible word to write,” she adds. “I’ve heard from many that the past two years they were together were some of his happiest and that should give us all solace.” She later states: “It is in no way fair or acceptable to blame her or anyone else, not even Anthony.” McGowan says she’s angry about her friend’s death, but she also pleads for sympathy from those who feel that he took his own life out of selfishness or a lack of concern for his loved ones. Shortly after learning of Bourdain’s death, Argento addressed the matter on Instagram, writing: “His brilliant, fearless spirit touched and inspired so many, and his generosity knew no bounds. He was my love, my rock, my protector. I am beyond devastated. My thoughts are with his family. Image via Getty Syracuse University Suspends Racist Frat Members Indefinitely At some point the bill comes due and 16 slur spewin’ frat boys have just paid the tab. According to Refinery29 , Syracuse University has suspended 16 members of the Theta Tau fraternity for a racist video that we reported on earlier this year . In one scene of the video, a member was seen on his knees, fellating a beer can while saying: “I solemnly swear to always have hatred in my heart for n——, s—-, and most importantly the f***ing k—-.” While the frat has been permanently banned from campus, the students’ indefinite suspension will last at least until 2020 when they will all have to reapply after demonstrating gainful employment, academic progress, good citizenship, 160 hours of community service and a 12 page paper on diversity and inclusion. Seems very unlikely that any of the 16 boys will complete these tasks but we shall see. Despite this, there is always some d-bag who is willing to cape up for people who do racist things against minorities. In this case, FIRE, the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education: “When a university expels students for a private roast consisting of completely protected speech, it has no business pretending that it cares about free expression,” director Ari Cohn said in a statement. “Labeling this obvious satire ‘harassment’ makes light of the actual cases of serious harassment that colleges should be looking to combat, and wastes resources that could be used to investigate real offenses. Labeling it a ‘breach of the peace’ is just stupid.” Mmmm, white tears. Tasty.
Charles Krauthammer, the long-time conservative columnist and television pundit, informed readers on Friday morning that he is confronting an aggressive form of cancer. He says he will be dead within the next few weeks. “My doctors tell me their best estimate is that I have only a few weeks left to live,” Krauthammer wrote very simply in The Washington Post earlier today. Krauthammer passed along this devastating piece of news in a short, matter-of-fact note on the website of the aforementioned newspaper, for which he’s worked as a columnist since 1984. “I leave this life with no regrets,” Krauthammer added in the farewell message, which has been making the Internet rounds all day. He continued: “It was a wonderful life — full and complete with the great loves and great endeavors that make it worth living. “I am sad to leave, but I leave with the knowledge that I lived the life that I intended.” That’s a pretty amazing and admirable attitude for anyone to have, considering what Krauthammer is facing right now. Krauthammer has also worked as commentator for Fox News over the past few years. However, he was forced to step away from both the newspaper and the cable network last August for surgery to remove what he called at the time “a cancerous tumor in my abdomen.” It appeared at one point as if the cancer was in remission, but Krauthammer confirmed on Friday that this positive news was only temporary. “Recent tests have revealed that the cancer has returned,” he wrote. “There was no sign of it as recently as a month ago, which means it is aggressive and spreading rapidly.” In his note to readers, Krauthammer thanked co-workers, readers, and viewers “who have made my career possible and given consequence to my life’s work.” He added: “I believe that the pursuit of truth and right ideas through honest debate and rigorous argument is a noble undertaking. “I am grateful to have played a small role in the conversations that have helped guide this extraordinary nation’s destiny.” A handful of folks in the world of TV and politics have also chimed in after learning of this tragic news. For example, Rupert Murdoch, the executive chairman of Fox News, said in a statement Friday afternoon: Charles has been a profound source of personal and intellectual inspiration for all of us at Fox News. His always principled stand on the most important issues of our time has been a guiding star in an often turbulent world, a world that has too many superficial thinkers vulnerable to the ebb and flow of fashion, and a world that, unfortunately, has only one Charles Krauthammer. H is words, his ideas, his dignity and his integrity will resonate within our society and within me for many, many years to come. And Vice President Mike Pence Tweeted the following: Karen and I were saddened to learn that Charles @krauthammer, a man we greatly admire, is nearing the end of his extraordinary life. His wit, his wisdom, and his tireless defense of Western values have made an indelible mark on the minds of millions of Americans.

If you’re currently a guest of The Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, you may have heard anguished cries of “Rahn, stahp!” this afternoon, as a security team struggled to do what Sammi Sweetheart never could — subdue the beast known as Agro Magro. Yes, as you may have heard a second season of Jersey Shore Family Vacation is currently filming in Las Vegas , and things got off to a dramatic start for Ronnie. According to TMZ, Ron attempted to fight a civilian while lounging poolside with his fellow guidos today. No word on yet on whether alcohol was a factor, but it absolutely, definitely was. Hilariously, the other combatant kept shouting phrases like “I got that Gucci bag, what’s up?” and repeating the word “hustlin’,” which makes this the single most obnoxious event to ever take place anywhere. It’s not currently known what caused the incident, but we’re gonna go out on a limb and guess that the combination of Ron-Ron juice and human growth hormone factored in. Of course, if you’ve been watching the first season of Family Vacation , or even just keeping up with the cast out of morbid curiosity, then this sort of behavior probably won’t come as much of a surprise. Ronnie has gone from supporting character to primary source of drama, primarily because of his constant fights with Jen Harley , the mother of his infant daughter. On the show, we see Ronnie cheat on Jen with a French club-goer dubbed “French Fry.” (The guidos’ nickname game isn’t terribly on point this season.) On social media, we watch in horror as Ron refers to the mother of his child as a “c-m dumpster.” Ron has been flying off the handle on a routine basis for years now, but lately, he’s either stepped up his game or lowered the bar, depending on whom you ask. Sure, without his antics, JSFV would be an exceedingly boring affair with moments like Vinny’s haircut crisis providing the bulk of the dramatic tension. But on the other hand … did we mention Ron called his ex a c-m dumpster on social media? Like, we don’t expect the height of decorum from these people, but we also don’t want to see them get less mature and more gross with age. But hey, maybe the Gucci guy deserved an ass-whupping today. Based on what little we know about him, that seems very, very plausible. But Ron’s a father now, so going forward, maybe he should let someone else deliver the beat-downs. Last week, Kanye West released his eighth studio album to critical acclaim and blockbuster sales. Yes, despite recent controversies surrounding West’s political views and outlandish tweets, ‘Ye has proven a success by any measure. The album is set to take the top spot on the Billboard 200, and the top seven songs on Apple Music and Spotify are all by Kanye. Of course, as he so often reminds us, Yeezy is his own harshest critic. (He’s also his own most fervent cheerleader, a situation that may help to explain the album’s cover art .) But when it comes to his latest feats of lyricism, Kanye may have some competition in the detractor department, as wife Kim Kardashian is admittedly less than thrilled about some of the lines on ‘Ye . Kim says she was especially displeased by lines in which Kanye rapped about her reaction to his now-infamous claim that ” slavery was a choice ” for several centuries’ worth of black Americans. On the song “Wouldn’t Leave,” West raps: “My wife callin’, screamin’, say, ‘We ’bout to lose it all!’ / Had to calm her down ’cause she couldn’t breathe / Told her she could leave me now, but she wouldn’t leave.” “Did I cry about it? Did I fight about it? Yeah,” Kim told Entertainment Tonight at the 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York on Monday. “That’s not stuff we put on social media — I’m not going to start tweeting what my thoughts are, but we have those moments and that was the one song that he didn’t really play for me until the last minute, so I heard that last minute and it meant a lot to me.” Kim proceeded to dial back her criticism, saying: “I really like that song … But yeah, we have different views sometimes, but that’s my husband, you know?” Of course, when most wives sigh “That’s my husband!” they’re talking about the time he used their wedding dress to wax the car, not the time he told the whole world she almost divorced him due to his controversial views on slavery. But even though she’s not thrilled with every line on the album, Kim says she’s a big fan of her husband’s EP: “I’m so happy that it’s been well-received because I’ve seen him go through a lot and he’s just the most genuine person,” she told ET. “He might say things that might get misinterpreted and people don’t see the context behind it, but I always know his heart, so I’m glad that it was really well-received,” she added.
