I don’t really care of Brie Larson, but she reminds us of how bullshit the entertainment industry is…. You can win an Oscar for a movie you barely got paid to be in…but that you did because you knew it would be a success because you have been in the industry and you know it hits on a lot of key points….and that really anyone could have played just as well as her…since good acting is really just a product of good writing…I mean all these puppets are interchangeable… I never found her hot, even as an abducted teen mom….but I do find it weird when you go from seemingly taking the “art” of acting to being in comic book action movies…insane… The point of selling the fuck out for cash… The point where she’s not getting any younger… But at least she posts climbing pics from climbing gyms of her in leggings….even if there’s not too much to look at…but what may be a diaper…
Jill Duggar is generally not one to make waves. The second-eldest daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, Jill has spent the majority of her life meeting the demands of her ludicrously strict upbringing. On the reality shows that made her family famous, Jill quickly emerged as a fan favorite, modest enough to appeal to the fundamentalist segment of the Duggars’ fan base, but independent enough to give hope to those who watch in … that she and her sisters will one day break away. When Jill married Derick Dillard in 2014, however, her public image took a turn for the worse. Brash and abrasive where Jill was meek and kind, Derick quickly became a divisive figure amongst Duggar fans. Last year, Derick was fired from Counting On after making comments about fellow TLC star Jazz Jennings that many considered transphobic. Jill quit the show in a gesture of solidarity, thus leaving her young family with no source of income. These days, Jill has a lot of time on her hands, and she often uses it to post on social media, despite the fact that her content frequently disturbs fan. This week Jill posted a list of prayers for her children that many took as evidence of bigotry. The items on the list were mostly innocuous concerns, such as “Their salvation,” “That they would be kept morally pure,” “That they would love each other.” But the last prayer struck a nerve with fans, many of whom considered it further evidence of Jill’s transphobia. The response from Instagram users was swift and harsh, with some accusing Jill of rank hypocrisy: “But it’s ok to be a homophobic, cheating molester who is literally making money from having their family on a reality show,” wrote one fan. The comments seem to refer to both Josh Duggar – who molested five young girls while living under his parents’ roof – and Derick Dillard, whose homophobia has been well-documented over the years. Now, Jill is criticized on social media quite regularly, with followers taking issue with everything from her parenting to her wardrobe. But this time is different in that Jill actually replied: “I have never said those actions were ok.” That may seem like a very mild response, but as many have pointed out, it constitutes the first time that Jill has expressed any misgivings about the behavior or beliefs of her brother and husband. Perhaps this is the beginning of a new day for Jill. Maybe she’ll finally join the rest of the world in calling out the male members of her family for their more problematic actions. What seems more likely, however, is that Jill has simply grown tired of being lumped in with men like Derick and Josh. Some feel that she’s complicit with their behavior, while others see Jill as a victim. Whatever the case, she’s clearly fed up with being associated with the more shameful aspects of her family history. Thomas Ravenel, the lead cast member on Bravo’s Southern Charm, is under investigation for sexual assault. According to People Magazine, which broke this disturbing story, real estate Ashley Perkins alleges that the reality star took advantage of her mother back when she went on a date with Ravenel in 2015. Parker says her mother and Ravenel met on the dating app Tinder in October of the aforementioned year and then went out on Christmas Day, about two months later. “We lived in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. He was going to pick her up and they were going to go out for drinks. She agreed to that.” Parker tells People , adding that she did not witness the alleged incident. She continues as follows: “I helped her get ready – she wore a diamond tennis bracelet on her wrist. Her wrist was fine when she left the house. “He left her voicemail saying he got lost on the way to pick her up. I thought he sounded a little inebriated.” Parker, pictured below with her mother, says Ravenel “changed plans” from the original date agreement as soon as her mom got into his car. He suggested they go see a home he had just had renovated and she agreed. (We should note at this point that Southern Charm airs on Bravo and follows a bunch of rich and spoiled people around. It premiered in March of 2014.) Once inside the home, Ravenel reportedly poured his date a small glass of wine. Upon entering the nanny’s room in the residence, Ravenel “he turned on” my mom, Parker says,detailing her allegations this way: “He pushes my mom onto the nanny’s bed, grabs her wrist with one hand, then he starts trying to pull her pants off. And she’s like ‘No, no, no, stop.’ “He stuck his fingers inside of her vagina as well as her anus. “She told me that he held her hands back with one arm and then pulled his penis out and shoved it in her face.” After her mother screamed “YOU’RE A RAPIST,” Ravenel leaped out, “out of his trance,” Parker says, and left the room. After the alleged attack, Ashley claims Ravenel told Debbie “to get yourself an Uber.” However, Debbie convinced Ravenel to drive her home because she had never taken an Uber before, and he proceeded to berate her on the way there. Parker explains that her mom was acting very “withdrawn” until finally confessing to her daughter what had transpired. According to Ashley, Debbie contacted a friend who was an attorney and described the alleged situation. He advised her to get legal help, she says. Parker says they hired Gloria Allred (who has declined comment) and agreed with Ravenal in “mediation” for a settlement of $200,000. Parker and her mom now live in Florida. She says she has come forward to serve as an inspiration for other victims of sexual assault. “This is bigger than my mom. This is bigger than me. I would like to let… other women know that Thomas is not invincible,” Ashley concludes to People. “Or even just women who are against powerful men and think they can’t do anything. I want them to know, you can. I would like to see him off of Bravo. “I would like for my mom not to have to worry about flipping on the television and seeing his smug mug, flaunting his lifestyle around. It’s bigger than us now. “I’d like to see some good come out of the ugly.” In response to these charges, a lawyer for Ravenel says: My client enjoys a certain degree of fame and unfortunately has become – unfairly – a target for an individual who has, in my opinion, dubious motivations. Ravenel, who was sentenced to 10 months in jail on federal cocaine distribution charges in 2007, has starred on Southern Charm since its premiere in 2014. He shares four-year-old daughter Kensie and two-year-old son Saint with ex-girlfriend Kathryn Dennis.
He’s here, folks! The Royal Baby is officially here! What’s that now? You already knew that Kate Middleton gave birth to a gorgeous little boy back on April 23 and you even knew she named him Louis? Or, to be exact, Prince Louis Arthur Charles ? Yes, you’re right. Both these developments have already taken place. However, Kensington Palace released the newborn’s birth certificate on Tuesday, making this child’s birth truly, completely, legally official and exciting. The document (below) is chock full of basic nuggets regarding little Louis, such as where he was born; he gender; and the names of his parents. One thing that jumps out to us, however, is the listed occupation of those parents. As you can see here, William is dubbed “Prince of the United Kingdom,” while Middleton is referred to as “Princess of the United Kingdom.” These aren’t titles with which we weren’t already familiar of course — it’s just funny to see someone’s job listed as “Prince” or “Princess.” Unlike his siblings – Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2 – Louis’ birth certificate is typed and not handwritten. We don’t know why this is or if it means anything, but we figured we’d point it out. We can confirm, however, that Prince William signed the document above at his Kensington Palace residence on Tuesday, May 1. It was witnessed by Westminster City Council registrar Patricia Gordon. “It has been a great honor to register and formally welcome the latest addition to the royal family, Prince Louis Arthur Charles,” Gordon said in a statement, adding: “This follows a long history of Westminster City Council registering royal bites including Prince Louis’ siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte.” Prince William and Kate Middleton’s third child was born at the private maternity unit of St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington on Monday, April 23, at 11.01am. He weighed in at 8lb., 7oz. and he was shown off to the world just seven hours later when Mom and Dad posed for photographers in London outside the hospital. The royal family’s latest addition was probably named after Prince Philip’s late uncle Louis Mountbatten. While we’ve heard a lot of speculation regarding the name Louis , we do know that Mountbatten was assassinated by members of the Provisional Irish Republican Army during a trip to Ireland in 1979. Sad stuff. Worthy of a tribute, we’d say. Back on April 25, William told reporters that his new son was sleeping “reasonably well” and behaving himself. He added that his beloved wife was also doing well (and also behaving her self, we assume, hehe). Overall, parenthood suits Kate and William “really well,” a friend recently told People Magazine. This friend added that the famous stars “are enjoying it and are very happy.” That makes us really happy to hear! Last month, a rumor that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively were headed for divorce made its way across the social media landscape. At the time, the notion seemed somewhat ridiculous. After all, Reynolds and Lively have long enjoyed a reputation as one of Hollywood’s happiest and most stable couples. But to shock and chagrin of fans, reports of Blake and Ryan calling it quits just kept rolling in. “The past few years, Ryan’s been working out of town while Blake stays home with the kids,” a source told Us Weekly. “The distance between them has taken its toll.” Reynolds employed his signature sardonic wit to shoot down the first round of reports: “I wish,” the actor tweeted. “I could use a little ‘me time.'” Fans were relieved, of course, and the controversy was thought to be over and done with. But earlier this week, Lively’s Instagram followers noticed that something was amiss on her page. As Radar Online points out, not only had Lively deleted all photos of Reynolds from her page, she had also unfollowed him and changed her bio so that it read simply: “What happened to Emily?” Adding fuel to the fire, Lively then followed 28 accounts of women named Emily Nelson. And like that, Emily Nelson became 2018’s answer to ” Becky with the good hair .” Fans assumed that Reynolds had been caught cheating and that Lively was determined to get to the bottom of his infidelity by hunting Nelson down. Sadly, this high drama nosedived into a disappointing conclusion today when it was revealed that “Emily Nelson” is merely the name of a character Lively is playing in an upcoming film, Yes, it was all an elaborate promotional stunt. Whenever you roll your eyes about something like this, some smart ass always has to chime in with, “Well, I guess it worked! You’re talking about it, aren’t you?!” Sure. In that sense, it worked. But apparently the film in question – A Simple Favor – doesn’t open until September! Does Blake really think this stunt is gonna stick with potential moviegoers for the next four months?! Before she embarked on one of Hollywood’s most monumental comebacks, Drew Barrymore’s name was synonymous with the dangers of childhood stardom. Barrymore checked into rehab for the first time when she was 13 years old after first experimenting with hard drugs when she was only nine. It would take a second round of in-patient care for Barrymore to get sober for good, but by the time she was 14, the actress had kicked the habits that could have claimed her young life. One might think that after struggling mightily and finally getting clean at such a young age, Barrymore would steer clear of intoxicants for life. But many former addicts can attest to the power of the complacency that so often accompanies long periods of sobriety. Alcoholics, in particular, are said to be vulnerable to the false sense of security that comes with several years off the sauce. They might look at family and friends enjoying a drink socially and believe that they’re capable of doing the same. In many cases, they might be right. More often, however, the situation ends in disaster – and friends of Drew’s believe she’s in the process of learning that lesson the hard way. According to Life & Style , friends of the actress were shocked to see her exhibiting signs of intoxication during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. Cohen often drinks with his guests, and Drew has her own brand of wine, so there was nothing terribly surprising about her decision to enjoy a glass while on the show. But Barrymore’s alleged slurring and out-of-character behavior left her loved ones deeply worried. “They’re very concerned about Drew,” a source tells tabloid. “They fear it’s only a matter of time before she crashes and burns.” The insider says Drew’s friends have already staged an informal intervention in hopes of convincing the actress to seek help: “The bottom line is that Drew’s an alcoholic and she’s drinking again,” the source continues. “She’s not hiding it.” The insider adds that Barrymore’s inner circle has implored her to “rein it in before she hits rock bottom again.” Here’s hoping Drew is able to find whatever sort of help she needs. As of Tuesday, it has been exactly three months since Kylie welcomed her baby girl . Happy three-month “birthday,” little Stormi! Stormi’s parents are celebrating with some skin-baring, post-baby PDA. And Kylie opted to share this topless photo with fans. Take a look! The photo below shows a fair amount of skin from Kylie and from Travis. We hope that this isn’t a problem for anyone. And, to be clear, it was shared on Instagram. As you may have guessed, nobodies flashing their tatas at millions of fans. That would be an awkward way to celebrate your child’s three-month birthday. (No judgment if that’s how you celebrate, though) Still, Kylie and Travis are packing on the PDA. There’s clearly more than Stormi keeping these two young parents together. It is, in fact, Travis who is topless, though Kylie isn’t exactly obscuring her skin. The 20-year-old mother is sporting a nude bandeau and what we’re willing to loosely describe as “army-inspired” pants. Travis is wearing no shirt, but he his ink to bring some variety to that bare torso. He’s also sporting a pair of orange shorts that actually coordinate really well with the photo’s color scheme. The overall effect is a warm, affectionate photo. It looks really romantic. Maybe too romantic. … Does anyone else notice that this photo has a vibe very different from a standard “our baby was born three months ago” photo? It honestly looks more like an engagement photo. Kylie has also been spotted wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger recently. This pic is just adding more fuel to the engagement speculation fire that has been blazing among fans for months and months. Now that Kylie and Travis have probably been dating for barely over a year, some wonder if it’s time. But now might not be time. It might never be time, in fact. Not everyone gets married, even if they stay in a relationship with their baby daddy and have more kids with him. You don’t have to look far to find examples of that. Kylie’s big sister Kourtney is a great example. But even without any kind of official engagement, Travis has really stepped up to treat Kylie right . A lot of people had been worried — we’ll be honest, we had our concerns when we saw that he continued to tour last year without acknowledging Kylie’s pregnancy in public — that Travis was going to leave Kylie. Those fears were quashed as soon as Kylie and Travis opened up about the pregnancy. Kylie shared a video that showed Travis attending multiple doctor’s appointments and ultrasounds with her. He was right by her side and so excited about becoming a father. It reaffirmed some people’s belief in love. Fans hope that, as Kylie becomes increasingly comfortable with her post-baby bod, Kylie and Travis will treat fans to more glimpses of the two of them. They might never (will hopefully never) reach PDA levels akin to what Kylie used to show of her relationship with Tyga. … (Ugh, remember that Snapchat video of Tyga talking excitedly about Kylie’s feet? That is never not creepy, but given how frankly Tyga talks about his foot fetish , it’s even worse in retrospect) … But Kylie’s fans love seeing her life, her post-baby body, and her relationship with Travis. PG / Splash News Destiny’s Child Will Reportedly Be Part Of On The Run Tour II For all the folks who have been clamoring for a Destiny’s Child reunion, there’s good news. UK tabloid The Sun reports that Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams will be joining select dates on the OTR II tour. “Beyonce worked tirelessly on her Coachella headline performance but the crowning moment was her medley with Kelly and Michelle. They really enjoyed working together again after so long and now Bey is keen for them to be part of On The Run II. The girls have their own work commitments and families but could fly out for certain dates to surprise fans because they’re all aware of the demand for a reunion. “It is the perfect way to celebrate 20 years since their debut album.” Good news right?! The tabloid also points out that even after their second Coachella performance, the ladies reunited AGAIN for Peter Dundas’ LA store opening last Tuesday. In December of 2016, Valerie Fairman, one of the star’s of MTV’s 16 and Pregnant, passed away. She was only 23 years old. Her death was shocking for a number of reasons, one, of course, being her age. Another was that she had an episode in the second season of 16 and Pregnant, the same season that introduced us to Jenelle Evans, Chelsea Houska, Kailyn Lowry, and Leah Messer. Being in a group of ladies we’ve come to know so well, it was just sort of strange to hear about her passing. One big reason the whole thing was so tragic was that Valerie left behind a daughter, Nevaeh, who was seven years old when she lost her mother. Really, the whole entire thing was just one big mess of sadness. The news of her death broke thanks to some tweets from her friends and family, and later we learned that she’d accidentally overdosed at a friend’s house . She went to the bathroom there but didn’t come out. Her friend went to check on her, and when there was no response, the friend broke down the door to find Valerie unresponsive. She never regained consciousness. There were never any official reports about her specific cause of death, but many believe that she died after doing heroin laced with fentanyl. This belief began in part because her ex-boyfriend, David Pryce, made a plea on Twitter after hearing the news of her death about shady drug dealers. “I will always miss you Valerie,” he wrote, “and I want to tell anyone who is selling sh-t to people to stop. We have lost too many loved ones to what you are doing.” In another statement, he said that she’d been dealing with “a lifelong problem” with opioid addiction, which is especially tragic, considering her life was so short. Valerie passed away at the end of 2016, and that’s when we heard all of this — so how are things with little Nevaeh now, over a year later? Her grandmother, Janice Fairman — Valerie’s mother — gave an interview to Radar Online to update 16 and Pregnant fans on how the girl is doing. “Nevaeh is very well,” she says. “I don’t think it’s been hard for her. I don’t know if it will be in the coming years.” “She’s doing well in school. I took her to a grief counselor, which she didn’t need.” That may sound a little cold, but Janice points out that she had full custody of Nevaeh even before Valerie died, and that Valerie only visited once or twice a month. She explains that “Because her mom wasn’t living here at the time, it made it easier on her. She’s still in the house she’s grown up in.” She does say that she makes a point to tell Nevaeh about her mother often, and that “she has a necklace with some of her ashes.” “Ashes are in her play room too. She also has flowers from the service.” Thankfully, Janice reveals that Nevaeh’s father, Matt Pryce, “sees her every Saturday.” “We try to keep Matt involved,” she says, even though “he has his own problems,” and she “doesn’t always” want to visit with him.” Still, they “try and rearrange things so he doesn’t miss out on birthday parties and other activities.” Finally, Janice asks that 16 and Pregnant fans remember Valerie as a “loving and caring person.” View Slideshow: 22 Celebrities Who Died from an Overdose “I know she was into drugs and wasn’t so nice,” she acknowledges, “but in her heart she really was.” Here’s hoping that Nevaeh really is doing as well as Janice says, and that she continues to cope with this tragic loss as easily as possible.
