Well, another big Apple event was held today, and that usually means people across social media freaking out over a very small change to a popular product. But this time the changes are bigger and more controversial than usual. It seems Apple has decided to 86 the headphone jack on the iPhone 7, which means users will either have to plug in old school headphones using a lightning jack adapter or shell out for wireless headphones. Not surprisingly, the company also introduced its new AirPod wireless ear buds today, which look like they should come with a built-in hole in your pocket to ensure that you lose them on day one. Elizabeth Gilbert, she who has been blessed by Oprah and inspired every girl in her 20’s to customize an Eat Pray Love vacation of their own, has followed her happiness and fallen in love with her best friend, Rayya Elias. Back in July, Gilbert confirmed that she and husband Jose Nunes – whom she famously met in Bali during the “Love” section of her best-selling book, Eat Pray Love – were separating. At the time, Gilbert chose not to reveal the reasons behind the couple’s split, but today the world-famous author wrote a note to her fans on Facebook, admitting that she has fallen for Elias, who was diagnosed with cancer this past spring. Dear Ones – There is something I wish to tell you today — something which I hope and trust you will receive with grace. This spring, I received news that would change my life forever. My best friend Rayya Elias was diagnosed with pancreatic and liver cancer — a disease for which there is no cure. In the moment I first learned of Rayya’s diagnosis, a trap door opened at the bottom of my heart (a trap door I didn’t even know was there) and my entire existence fell straight through that door. From that moment forward, everything became about HER. I cancelled everything in my life that could be cancelled, and I went straight to her side, where I have been ever since. Audrey, who is married to reality star Jeremy Roloff, admitted that what she was about to explain was weird, but readers can do with it what they want. One person’s intimate moment is another’s horror story, according to Audrey. “On our honeymoon, I had this crazy idea… It has been one of my best-kept marriage secrets (something I have only shared with my closest friends) – until now. It’s too good to keep to myself;),” Audrey wrote. “So let me tell you about this immensely intimate idea, and why I think every single couple on the planet should try it at least once, if not every year on their anniversary. “Some of you may think it’s a little weird, but I’m choosing vulnerability in the hopes that it might inspire you! Marcus Kowal is living every parents’ worst nightmare. The MMA fighter and his partner have confirmed that their 15-month old son was killed on Saturday when the child and his young aunt were struck by a car while crossing the street. According to The Mercury News, Liam Mikeal Kowal and his 15-year old relative were hit by a vehicle while in a crosswalk. The tragic incident took place around 4:15 p.m. The driver, a woman named Donna Marie Higgins, fled the scene… but witnesses actually followed her SUV and surrounded it until authorities arrived, the newspaper reports. Per a press release issued by the Hawthorne Police Department, Liam’s teenage aunt suffered “from what appeared to be leg injuries,” while the infant was found “pulseless and not breathing.” Higgins, a 72-year old shoe mugshot is featured below, was arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run and drunken driving. She booked into Hawthorne jail with a $100,000 bail. “I saw [Liam’s] stroller in two pieces,” Kowal told a local ABC affiliate. “And he had a little green frog that he’s had with him since day one … and he carries around wherever he is. He won’t sleep without his green frog, and it was lying in the middle of the street.” Later Saturday evening, Kowal and his partner, Mishel Eder, took to the former’s Facebook page with a heartbreaking update from Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. “I want to thank everyone who has been there for us, in all forms and shapes,” it begins. “Thoughts, prayers, in person – whatever. We’ve received 100s and 100s of txt messages, emails, fb messages, etc – we are blown away. Your support means the world to us.” He then continued with the most horrific message any mother or father could ever write. About an hour ago, our baby was declared brain dead. He tried to fight so hard. He even died at one point but they brought him back. He’s a little fighter. His heart is still beating but his brain is no longer working. Our hearts are broken and there’s a void in my soul but we will get through this. Again, your support means the world and I wish we could respond to each and every one of you but right now, we are going work through this. Funeral arrangements will be posted here. RIP Liam Mikael Kowal. 5/25/2015-9/4/2016. Liam was taken off life support later that night. “I’m a fighter, I can take pain, I’ve taken pain my whole life and nothing hurts as much as this,” Kowal told ABC7. “I was proud to be a dad and I wanted to raise a good child.” We truly cannot imagine. Our heart goes out to Marcus Kowal and his family. Kowal told the station that he and Eder are donating Liam’s organs. “So his heart can live through another child,” the athlete said. “He loved to share, so I know he would have wanted to share his heart.” What beautiful words and what a beautiful gesture.

As you’ve probably heard by now, Chris Brown was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after a bizarre stand-off with police last week. The incident occurred after a model named Baylee Curran claimed Brown pulled a gun on her during a gathering at his home. Brown has maintained his innocence from the start, but given his long history of violent, erratic behavior, it’s not hard to see why so many are skeptical of his claims. In an exclusive clip provided to Good Morning America , the troubled singer and his lawyers claim that they’re in possession of evidence which will conclusively clear Brown’s name and restore his reputation (such as it is). The pre-taped segment aired this morning: Chris Brown: I’m Innocent! Brown tells the morning show that his lawyers have obtained a text message that proves Curran attempted to frame him, adding that if any charges are going to be pressed, they’ll be against Curran for providing false testimony to police. “I cannot wait until the truth comes to light about this incident,” Brown says in the clip above. “My character’s been defaced, and who I am as a person, and my integrity.” He added: “All my real supporters know me and know the truth.” According to Brown’s attorneys, the incriminating text from Curran reads: “This freak Chris Brown is kicking me out of his house because I called his friend’s jewelry fake. “I’m going to set him up and call the cops and say that he tried to shoot me and that will teach him a lesson. I’m going to set his Ass up.” If the text is legit, it’s pretty damning. It could also be taken as an indication that Curran is some sort of Bond villain, because, really – who lays out their evil plans like that? In the GMA segment, Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, adds that the gun and piece of jewelry Curran described were not found in the home. In addition, he claims that surveillance camera footage from the day of the incident will reveal that at no time did Brown produce a weapon or physically threaten Curran in any way. I was only with him for 15 years,” Rob recently told People Magazine. “That's why I'm looking forward to having that long-term bond with my child and being funny and goofy like my dad was.” Scott was curious as to what his faux-in-law would name his and Blac Chyna's first child together. “Would you name it something traditional, like 'Bob, George, Mark'…” Scott asked, “or, like, celeb – like 'Arrow, Pointer…?” It's a fair question, considering There's already a Reign, a North and a Saint in their family. “You should just name her Kim if you have a girl,” Scott suggested.
