Twenty-five years ago today, police pursued O.J. Simpson and friend A.C. Cowling were pursued through the streets of Los Angeles in Simpson’s now-infamous white Ford Bronco. The rest, as they say, is history. The chase led to an arrest, a shocking acquittal, a miniseries in which Ross from Friends says “Juice” a lot , and now … the most bonkers social media account on the World Wide Web. Yes, if you spent any time on Twitter this weekend, you probably noticed that O.J. was one of the site’s top trends. The sudden resurgence in popularity was not due to the former running back rushing off to the big endzone in the sky, as many initially assumed, but was instead a result of Simpson’s terrifying message to the world: O.J. Simpson Comes to Twitter! “Hey Twitter World, this is yours truly,” Simspson told fans in the video above, which was his first post to the micro-blogging platform. “Now, coming soon to Twitter, you’ll get to read my thoughts and opinions on just about everything,” the accused murderer cautioned. “Now, there’s a lot of fake OJ accounts out there. “So this one—@TheRealOJ32—is the only official one. So, this should be a lot of fun. I’ve got a little getting even to do. So God bless. Take care.” Yes, like just about every other pop cultural artifact from the ’90s, O.J. is back and bigger than ever these days. But unlike the Spice Girls or Full House , Simpson very likely snuffed out two human lives. As for what O.J. means by “getting even,” well — we suppose we’ll have to wait in terror to find out. Of course, as many fans have pointed out, Simpson doesn’t mess around when it comes to exacting revenge. In all likelihood, Simpson would’ve caught flak for joining Twitter at any point — what with that nasty business involving his butchered ex-wife and all. But the 71-year-old has really incurred the wrath of the internet by making his announcement so close to the 25th anniversary of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. Those hoping that Simpson will address his alleged crimes are likely to be disappointed, as O.J. says the topic is no longer up for discussion. “My family and I have moved on to what we call the ‘no negative zone,'” he said in a recent interview. “We focus on the positives.” Yeah, you wouldn’t want to traumatize your kids by talking about their mother’s murder. That could really mess them up!

The Real Housewives of New York City fans recoiled in horror as Bethenny Frankel lashed out at Luann de Lesseps . It was ugly. The cohosts of The View responded to the incident, and Sunny had her own anecdote to share about the Skinnygirl founder. Sunny claims that she met Bethenny just once — when Bethenny yelled at Sunny's 7-year-old child. Just a quick recap, tragically not told in Whoopi Goldberg's impression of a Valley Girl voice. Bethenny Frankel was there for Luann after her arrest and the beginning of her sobriety journey. She clearly feltt hat Luann was too self-absorbed to return the favor after the tragic death of Dennis Shields . In a scene that brought multiple Housewives to tears, she unloaded on Luann without remorse. Clearly, Bethenny was having an on-screen breakdown in grief. But it remains a topic of discussion. So what does this have to do with The View cohost Sunny Hostin? Well, the women offered up their reactions to Bethenny's outburst, with Meghan McCain providing nuanced context. (Imagine if she could do that with politics! Wouldn't that be something?) Meghan makes it very clear that she feels a lot of sympathy for Bethenny at this moment. But not everyone feels the same way. “I don't know Bethenny,” Sunny mentions. “But I've seen her behave that way on the beach yelling at my child.” This gets everyone's attention. Joy Behar mentions that she would like to hear about Sunny's experience. (While Whoopi implies that she knows this story already) “I don't know,” Sunny says. “They're telling me not to talk about it in my ear.” “I'm just saying,” Sunny continues. “I've seen that kind of behavior when Bethenny yelled at my child on the beach.” She pauses for dramatic effect while the audience responds, and then shares her story. “It was in the middle of the day,” she recalls. “And my child was about 7, playing with other children at about 2 o’clock in the afternoon.” Speaking of Bethenny, Sunny recounts: “and she said that her child was napping inside with the window open.” “And,” Sunny claims, Bethenny insisted “that our children were being too loud on the beach.” “[She] yelled at my child,” Sunny accuses. “And,” she adds. “I went out there and stood in front of my child.” “And I yelled at her,” Sunny reveals. “And told her adults speak to adults,” “And she knows I’m telling the truth,” Sunny concludes. It is very clear that this one encounter left a permanent bad taste in Sunny's mouth when it comes to the Skinnygirl founder. Bethenny isn't without her defenders on the show, as the Princess of Arizona spoke out on her behalf. “[Frankel] sent me a very nice note after my dad died,” Meghan says. Meghan's father is the late Senator John McCain, a fact that she has mentioned a time or two. “And I like her,” Meghan notes. “And I wasn’t there on that beach in that scenario. I don’t have kids, as everyone knows.” Sunny points out: “I didn’t get a nice note.” Longtime fans of The View may recall that Sunny shared this anecdote back in 2016. At the time, she provided context, saying that she and Bethenny had been renting neighboring houses in the Hamptons. “She was very gracious later,” Sunny admitted in 2016. She added that Bethenny had “sent me some of the Skinnygirl margarita stuff later.” “Maybe she’s much nicer now,” Sunny acknowledged. “But she was pretty ugly to all of us.” It seems that Bethenny's outburst brought back ugly memories for Sunny. Was Sunny being unfair? A friend of Bethenny's tells Us Weekly that it's disappointing to see her taking shots at the reality star. According to the unnamed friend, it is a “shame Sunny continues to speak negatively about Bethenny.” “They don’t even know each other,” the friend points out. “She even attacked Bethenny’s relief efforts last year.” “Not sure why she continues to be fixated on her,” the friend lamented. “And create unnecessary drama.” Sometimes, it's best to let go of grudges. The cast of Sister Wives is back on camera as filming begins on the new season . This is welcome news for fans of the series (who miss the drama), as well as the Browns themselves (who really need that TLC paycheck right about now). But one thing you won’t see in the new season is the hilarious baby bump photo that Maddie Brown just revealed on her Instagram Story. The 23-year-old Sister Wives star is now in her third trimester, and wow does it show! Maddie took the selfie from an unusual angle that puts her huge baby bump front and center. She really wants us to know she’s far along. And it’s not just the baby who’s almost ready. We can tell Maddie’s ready to get this over with too. If the nonplussed look on her face doesn’t tell you this girl is over it, she spells it out in the caption. “I am about 98% done mentally with being pregnant,” Maddie writes. Maddie fittingly included a smiley face with a sweat drop emoji, usually used to signify a mixture of relief and discomfort. Maddie’s first child, two-year-old Axel, seems to be entertaining himself on the couch in the background. Meanwhile, Maddie’s husband Caleb Brush sits nearby, apparently taking a phone call, keeping an eye on Axel, and generally being too busy to be in this photo right now. This is not Maddie’s first baby bump photo. It’s not really her cutest, either. But it might be her realest! We all know pregancy isn’t always graceful or glamorous. It can also be messy, chaotic, even dangerous. And it can make everday tasks an exhausting challenge. It’s refreshing that Maddie chose to share this candid, genuine, slightly stress-inducing moment with us. All that said, Maddie looks happy, healthy, and positvely glowing in plenty other pregancy photos, and we know she’s really excited to meet the new baby. “This pregnancy feels less real for some reason,” Maddie told Us Weekly in January. “But I’m still over the moon,” she added. Of course it’s been a while since that first announcement in January. We’re betting the situation feels a lot more real now that she’s sporting that baby bump. Despite being “98% done mentally,” Maddie still has some time to prepare before the big day — her new baby isn’t due until August. We can’t be sure if Maddie and Caleb have picked out a name yet, but we learned back in April that the two will be expecting a baby girl. The couple posed together on Instagram, where they made the announcement publicly. Caleb was shocked to learn he would be having a daughter. He was reportedly so surprised by the news that he made the ultrasound tech check three times, just to be sure. “I just had it in my head it would be a boy,” Caleb said in a statement to People . It almost sounds like he’s a little disappointed, but both Caleb and Maddie have said they are excited to be welcoming a girl into the family. One person who’s definitely not disappointed? Maddie’s mother, Sister Wives star Janelle Brown. “My mom was so excited and shocked, she got a little teared up,” Maddie told People. “Something about a girl I guess,” she concluded. We’ll likely see plenty more of Maddie’s baby bump between now and the due date. And hopefully, we’ll catch a glimpse of Janelle’s future granddaughter on the next season of Sister Wives . While the pop landscape might be a more peaceful place as a result, it was undeniably a sad day for fans of petty celebrity rivalries. Fortunately, the equally-entertaining Taylor Swift-Kim Kardashian feud appears to be going strong! Taylor just dropped a new single entitled “You Need to Calm Down,” and while the song is ostensibly a straightforward pro-LGBTQ anthem, many fans ate convinced that several lines have double meanings and are intended as subtle jabs against Kim. Kim’s prison reform efforts brought her back to the White House today, and the 38-year-old apparently feels that Swift’s new song cast a shadow over what should have been one of the proudest moments of her career. “Apparently, Taylor will never be done shading Kim, but Kim is letting her appearance at the White House yesterday speak for itself,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online. “It just so happened that the day Taylor announced her album, Kim spoke at the White House in front of the whole world, completely blowing her out of the water.” The insider says Taylor’s sly disses were not lost on Kim, who selected her attire for today in order to send a message to Swift: “And it is no coincidence at all that Kim wore green, the color of the snake,” the source claims. Using a White House event on prison reform as an opportunity to throw subtle shade at a pop star sounds insane — but then again, so does everything else about 2019. So Radar’s interpretation is that Taylor’s new single just happened to drop on the same day that Kim spoke at the White House. But the folks over at Cosmo make a pretty convincing argument that Swift planned it that way and loaded her lyrics with coded jabs at Trump. As many have observed on Twitter, it might not be a coincidence that the song was released on the Donald’s birthday. And the progressive lyrics present exactly the sort of argument that tends to deepen the president’s perma-scowl: “You are somebody that we don’t know / But you’re coming at my friends like a missile / Why are you mad? / When you could be GLAAD?” Swift sings at one point. “Sunshine on the street at the parade / But you would rather be in the dark ages,” she later croons. “’Cause shade never made anybody less gay.” Obviously, much of this situation is open to interpretation, but the Radar source assures us that things are about to escalate rapidly: “Kim will continue to drop more subtle hints on social media as more of Taylor’s album becomes revealed,” the insider claims. “She is really sick of it, but at the end of the day they both kind of live for it.” Fortunately, so do we! The team made it official yesterday in Tweet announcing their participation with the show which is now in its 14th season. So that means all upcoming ridiculous moves made by head coach Jon Gruden and the front office will be on camera. From obvious stars to guys you might not know — yet. But that’s okay cause former ESPN analyst Jon Gruden and his band of misfits will supply all the entertainment we need in the 5 episode behind the scenes look at the upcoming training camp for the team. Based on his previous ridiculous decisions like trading away Khalil Mack and wide receiver Amari Cooper, we are sure Gruden got some more insane moves up his sleeve. We can’t also forget the Raiders bringing in problematic star wide receiver Antonio Brown who left his former team the Pittsburgh Steelers after calling out his former QB Ben Rothelsberger and JuJu Smith-Schuster. If that is not enough dysfunction for you, the Raiders for some reason picked up habitually suspended linebacker Vontaze Burfict as well as unretired offensive lineman and well-known bully Richie Incognito. HBO couldn’t have asked for a more perfect team honestly. In press release Raiders’ owner Mark Davis added : “Everybody wants to be a Raider. Now they’ll find out what it takes to become one.” We expect the drama to be off the charts when the show premieres this year on HBO. Wednesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York finally showed us that blowout fight from the midseason trailer, and it did not disappoint. If you watch The Real Housewives of New York online of late, you know that Luann has bordered on insufferable. Every single time any of the ladies have tried to help her, she’s complained that she’s too busy to give a you-know-what because she’s a cabaret girl. When the explosive episode kicked off Bethenny and Ramona were trying to get through to Ramona that her drinking is a cause for concern. This conversation occured shortly after Sonja threatened to knock Bethenny out before smacking her head off a table. It was pretty wild. Sonja, however, welcomed the feedback from the ladies, and ultimately decided to take Luann up on the offer to attend an AA meeting with her. Before we got to the AA meeting, new addition to the cast, Barbara Kavovit admitted that she felt left out. Bethenny wanted to find out why Barbara felt that way, so she pulled her aside. “If you guys would rather me go home, I’ll go home,” Barbara said while simultaneously fighting back the tears. Bethenny told her that she felt she was too up Lu’s ass to forge friendships with the other ladies. Well, she didn’t quite say it that way, but you get the gist. Ultimately, Barbara agreed that she could be a better friend away from Luann and that was that. Sonja struggled at the AA meeting, but she put on a brave face. It all came to the forefront when Sonja broke down at the beach when she met up with the ladies. Sonja later admitted that it was too much for her to take on board, and the ladies tried to help her. Everyone except Luann, that is. Luann said that she was staying at the beach, leaving the other ladies to help Sonja. “Anybody want to go for a swim on the beach?” she said while Sonja bawled her eyes. “I’m gonna go for a swim. I’ll see you back at the house.” Bethenny was shook, and not in a good way. It was like she was ready to unleash holy hell on the countess, but she bit her tongue. At the house, Sonja admitted that Luann essentially abandoned her, despite being the one to bring her to the AA meeting. While this was going down, Luann posed for photos, one of them was at a poster promoting her cabaret show. Did this prove how self-absorbed Luann was at this moment in time? Probably, but we need to remember here that Luann has her own $hit going on. The next night is when the good stuff happened. Barbara told Luann during dinner that she felt like she had been iced out for no reason, and she was not going to stand for it. Luann gave her a hug, but Bethenny saw this as Lu’s way of brushing this under the rug. “I felt so protective of you, Lu, because I’m protective of the people that I love,” Barbara said of the situation, prompting Luann to say it was “not my fault.” “It kind of is, though,” Tinsley said even though nobody asked her remind them she was still on the show. “Because you let Barbara do that for you, have the shield, protect you in that way — and you never [stick up] for her.” “I never what?” Luann asked before making fun of Tinsley Tinsley for slurring the words “stick up.” Queen Bethenny had heard enough. She flipped the eff out. “You’re insufferable! You’re insufferable!” she scremed as she slammed her hands on the table. “Oh, wow. What a day this has been,” Lu fired back. “This is it! Are you gonna sing it? Sing it!” Bethenny hurled. . “Jesus, I go for a swim, and this is what happens? Gotta be careful when you leave the room in this group, huh?” Lu said, trying to keep her composure. “When’s the last time you asked me how I am about Dennis?” Bethenny asked. “When’s the last time?” “When’s the last time you asked me how I am?” Luann said in response. “All the time!” Bethenny screamed. “You are intolerable. You never change. ‘Cause you never change ’cause you dined out on your sobriety.” “You’re dining out on it. Yes, you are. Dining out. Yes, you are.” Luann then said she was annoyed that Bethenny would say she’s using her sobriety as a crutch. “B Strong? You should be so proud of yourself. You’re bully strong,” she said. “Let me explain something to you clearly,” Bethenny yelled, slamming her hands on the table one more time. “Dennis helped you with your case 100 percent. When’s the last time you asked me how I feel about it? You actually are [the only one who hasn’t checked in on me]. Unnerving. It’s unnerving!” Luann claimed the evening was “not enjoyable,” as Bethenny shot back that “the truth hurts.” “I’m so mad!” Bethenny said as she looked like she was going to flip the table. “I did your intervention, and my f–king boyfriend, ex-boyfriend, ex-fiancé died of an overdose, and you haven’t checked in on me!” “Do you understand?! I did your intervention while my guy died of a drug overdose. And you haven’t asked how I am! He died! He’s in the ground!” Bethenny was up at Lu’s face, saying that her friend never checked in on her. “No, you haven’t! No, you haven’t! Not one time!” Bethenny shouted before mimicking her new nemesis. “‘I’m going through a lot. Come to my thing.’ Cabaret! F–king Cuban cabaret upstate. And cabaret, cabaret, cabaret all day. LIFE IS NOT A CABARET. It is actually not a cabaret!” “Wow, look at you,” Luann managed to say. “Look in the f–king mirror! Look at me?!” Bethenny screamed across the table. “You never checked in on Dennis. Not once! You’ve never asked about Dennis. You never asked. YOU NEVER ASKED!” she continued. “No, you don’t. No, you don’t! Every day it’s about you. Every f–king day it’s about you. I spoke to your kids. I sat outside on your driveway to make sure that you didn’t drive your car!” “You almost crashed the (inaudible) and killed your friends! You were running in a field in negligee and had to be taken in cop cars, and I made sure that they didn’t record it so you ultimately didn’t get arrested!” “You left the f–king rehab that I got you for free two weeks early FOR CABARET! Even though Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis boned Whitney Sudler-Smith again , they’re not dating, yet alone married. Her castmates are struggling to understand why she’s spending money like she’ll one day inherit from Patricia Altschul. In a new interview, Kathryn is explaining her reckless spending. Season 6 of Southern Charm has brought a lot of joy to viewers … and a lot of criticisms about Kathryn’s current lifestyle. The wise Cameran Eubanks openly suggested that Kathryn is burning money by renting her house for $6,000 a month. (We know that home ownership comes with hidden costs, but it can’t be as bad as what Kathryn’s shelling out) The striking Naomie Olindo took aim at Kathryn’s needlessly fancy car — a Rolls Royce, calling it “foolish.” She also pointed out that the public perception of Kathryn living such an opulent lifestyle is “not great.” Optics matter, folks. In a new interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish podcast, Kathryn makes it clear that she’s well aware of what her friends have said about her. “I will say that they were coming from a good place,” Kathryn quickly acknowledges of the criticism. She suggests that “That conversation got misconstrued and polarized.” “The spending habits,” Kathryn says. “They know nothing about my spending habits, quite frankly.” Seeing a girl driving around in a Rolls Royce tells you enough, though, right? Despite her insistence that her castmates don’t know as much about her business as they think, Kathryn changes her tune. “In retrospect,” she begins. “After a few more things happened.” Well, that’s vague as heck. “I realized whether or not they know what place they were coming from,” Kathryn admits. “I was making irrational, irresponsible decisions regarding money, etc.;” Better late than never, huh? “However,” she notes. “I caught myself soon enough.” “My entire life has been basically making a mistake and learning afterward,” Kathryn points out. That’s true for everyone, whether we admit it or not. That’s how people learn and grow. “But luckily,” she says. “I have good friends.” Kathryn clearly appreciates her friends “who try and help guide me in the right direction.” Is that her version of a thank you? “I’m very hard-headed,” Kathryn freely admits. Deeply relatable. “So,” Kathryn confesses. “I still kind of will do what I’m going to do.” “But,” she notes. “Life is a perpetual learning experience.” It certainly is! “And,” Kathryn concludes. “I’m trying my best.” Kathryn Dennis is absolutely right about how everyone is learning and growing from their experiences — including their mistakes. That said, she is a mother of two. While her worst mistakes (Thomas Ravenel) are in her past, she does need to make sure that she’s making the best possible decisions for her chidlren’s future. We know that she has endorsement deals, a furniture line, and a reality career. But while she’s doing well for herself as a 26-year-old, she doesn’t have the kind of wealth that justifies dropping 6 figures on a car. Fortunately, she is (now) acting like she knows that. Khloe Kardashian would like to make something very clear. You wanna drag Tristan Thompson’s name through the mud? Go right ahead. That guy is a cheater and a liar and a total loser who only has an NBA title because he played with LeBron James. But the name she has worked so hard to keep clean and admirable? Khloe has felt a need to speak out in her own defense after reports surfaced that alleged she started dating Thompson back in the summer of 2016 — when he was still with then-girlfriend Jordan Craig. Moreover, when Craig was pregnant with his first kid. According to court documents Craig filed this past November (as part of her child support battle against Thompsin), the Instagram model wrote that Thompson and Kardashian got together when she was still involved with the basketball player. “Their relationship went viral and everything took a turn for the worst,” Jordan recalls in these legal papers, adding: “Every day, several articles were published worldwide mocking my new unfortunate reality… my pregnancy would now become one of the most popular gossip headlines.” Craig never refers here to Khloe by name… but come on, right? Take it as you will,” she started, prior to delving into a lengthy explanation. “My truth is: I met Tristan because HE CHOSE to go on a blind date with me. “A mutual friend set us up. After going on some dates, Tristan told me that he had an ex that was pregnant. Obviously, I was reluctant about us continuing to date or start a relationship.” Craig, for the record, gave birth to a son named Prince in December 2016. She has stated that Thompson is a deadbeat father to this two-year old . All week, Mary’s descendants have been taking to social media to eulogize the late 78-year-old for their millions of followers. On Tuesday, Jill Duggar paid tribute to Mary in a moving blog post. Her words were mostly met with praise and sympathy, but some fans criticized her for monetizing the death by forcing fans to follow a link from her social media pages to her personal website in order to read the piece. It was the latest in a series of bizarre controversies for the Duggars — but it seems Jessa Duggar was undeterred by the controversy. Jessa followed suit today and posted a tribute to Mary on the website she runs with her husband, Ben Seewald. “It didn’t matter who you were, she was ‘Grandma’ to you,” she wrote. “That’s most often how she would introduce herself. ‘Hi, I’m Grandma!’ Everybody called her Grandma. “She took a genuine interest in people. She would converse with you in a way that made you feel special and loved and cared about,” she continued. “She had a knack for remembering details, and the next time she saw you, she would inquire about things told to her in past conversations.” Jessa went on to reiterate an observation shared by so many others — Mary’s greatest joy in life was her ever-expanding family: “She welcomed each new baby with joy and would hold them with such tenderness and delight,” the 26-year-old wrote. “We will keep her stories and memories alive for these little ones, but we’re sad that they will not have the blessing of knowing her in person as we have.” Jessa stressed that her grandmother was neither a shrinking violet nor a stay-at-home mom, but an “exhorter” and “successful businesswoman,” who remained active until her final days. “As we look back and reflect on the gift God gave us in Grandma Duggar, we are so grateful. How we wish we would’ve hugged her more, said ‘I love you’ more, and spoken more of these sentiments to her while she was here with us,” she wrote. “She was deeply loved, and she impacted the lives of so many people.” Jessa concluded with a poignant statement of grief and undying affection: “While we weep over our loss, we realize that she has been united with the person she loved more than anyone here on this earth.
