Jill Duggar: Risking Children’s Safety for Photo Ops?!

Let’s be real, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard aren’t going to be winning any “Parents of the Year” awards anytime soon. This is for many reasons. One is that they’re Duggars, so many people think they practice potentially abusive techniques like blanket training , which, if you’re new, is basically putting your baby on a blanket and beating him whenever he leaves it. So, you know, he gets scared to go anywhere off the blanket and you can cook or craft or take care of your 12 other kids or whatever. Another issue with Jill and Derick is that they’ve both said some not-so-nice things about their two precious sons, Israel and Samuel. Recently, Jill seemed to admit that she loves Derick more than their children , and Derick used a bible verse to call the boys a “curse.” There are all the times that they’ve taken the kids to dangerous locations — they even went to Central America during her second pregnancy when the Zika virus was a huge concern. We could name tons of other instances in which their parenting has been criticized, but you get the picture, right? Lots of people aren’t fans of lots of the things these people do with their kids. And now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s move on to the latest issue! Jill and Duggar recently uploaded a whole bunch of pictures to their family website , and that’s nice of them. Since they got fired from Counting On for Derick’s bizarre transphobic rants about Jazz Jennings, it’s really the only way fans can keep up with them. While there were several cute photos of little Israel and Sam doing things like cuddling in a toddler bed and playing and visiting other relatives, one stood out. It’s this one of Sam: So that’s terrifying, right? Sam is only a year old, and there’s no arguing that this is just not safe. “Sam is a climber,” they captioned the photo, and yeah, we can see that. But those kinds of chairs aren’t that stable, and the way he’s perched right on the arm and leaning on the back … It really looks like he’s just a slip away from a serious accident. And you know the folks over on Reddit were not pleased with all of this. One user from the Counting On subreddit asked “How are they not getting him tf off of there? Why on earth would you take a photo? Doesn’t seem like the best parenting.” “Like … kids do stuff and you can’t always stop it … but if you can stop it, you do,” another person wrote. “You don’t just take a picture.” As someone else pointed out, “Plus taking the picture just reinforces the kids behavior because it’s giving them positive attention.” Another good point was made with “You’d think after experiencing TWO traumatic births, they’d be a little more careful with their kids.” It really is just a weird photo, you know? Many toddlers do like to climb, and some can climb themselves to dangerous situations before you can get to them. It happens. But as these Reddit users explained, the bad part is that instead of getting Sam down before he could fall, they paused to take a picture. And then they posted the picture on their website. Let us pray! BuzzFeedNews dropped a shocking report Thursday that’s damning to y’alls lil Cheezit colored cretin. In it, BuzzFeed reporters allege that Trump directed his longtime attorney Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about negotiations to build a Trump Tower in Moscow. Buzzfeed cites two federal law enforcement officials involved in an investigation of the matter. They add that Cheeo allegedly supported Cohen’s plan to visit Russia during the presidential campaign in order to personally meet President Vladimir Putin and jump-start the tower negotiations. They allege also that Cheeto’s children Ivanka and Donald Trump Jr. were also WELL aware and received “regular, detailed updates about the real estate development from Cohen, whom they put in charge of the project.” Mueller is allegedly well versed in the matter and it seems like “Individual 1” is on borrowed time. “Special counsel Robert Mueller noted that Cohen’s false claim that the project ended in January 2016 was an attempt to “minimize links between the Moscow Project and Individual 1” — widely understood to be Trump — “in hopes of limiting the ongoing Russia investigations.” Now the two sources have told BuzzFeed News that Cohen also told the special counsel that after the election, the president personally instructed him to lie — by claiming that negotiations ended months earlier than they actually did — in order to obscure Trump’s involvement.” The whole thing is glorious and worth a read. We know that the President has engaged in a long pattern of obstruction. Directing a subordinate to lie to Congress is a federal crime. Killer Of Morgan Freeman’s Granddaughter Claims The Star Sexually Abused Her & Caused Her Death

Source: Getty Images / Morgan Freeman 33-year old Lamar Davenport has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for the murder of Morgan Freeman ‘s step-granddaughter, E’Dena Hines. Davenport reportedly stabbed Hines 25 times while allegedly being under the influence of PCP. However, Lamar’s mother and lawyer claim that Freeman is actually the one responsible for his granddaughter’s death. Page Six reports that as Davenport’s mother was escorted out of the court, she yelled at a reporter: “Morgan Freeman molested her and he caused this. He did this.” According to the Daily Mail : There were allegations during the trial and previously that Freeman was involved in a romantic relationship with 33-year-old E’Dena Hines. Hines had at one point texted Davenport to reveal she had ‘grandpa feelings’. Freeman, 80, has always denied such allegations. Hines is the granddaughter of Morgan’s first wife, Jeanette Adair Bradshaw. Freeman has denied the allegations, and so did Hines when she was alive. Since the fatal incident, several women accused Freeman of inappropriate behavior , leading brands to pull several advertisements featuring his voice. SMH.

Mariah Carey Hilariously Wins the #10YearChallenge

Time? Mariah Carey doesn’t know her. The legendary singer is facing some controversial accusations , but she’s still dominating on social media. She threw her hat into the ring for the 10 Year Challenge and we have to say it: she won. The 10 Year Challenge has been all over social media for the past week. Generally, people share a photo from 2019 and a photo from 2009 for comparison. As you are about to see, Mariah Carey took a different approach. “I don’t get this 10 year challenge,” Mariah admitted on both Twitter and Instagram. She continued, writing that “time is not something I acknowledge.” That much is clear from her photo. These are both the same photo placed side-by-side. Mariah’s caption includes a clarification: “Picture taken at some point prior to today,” Mariah writes beside a little asterisk. She could have ignored the challenge like so many people have. Instead, she took a shot and reminded everyone that she can dominate social media with minimal effort. Of course, some have suggested that Mariah may have had a less humorous reason for not wanting to participate. In some of Mariah’s more recent appearances, her look has attracted confusion, ridicule, and cruel comments from fans. She may have wanted to avoid any of that by not posting a visual, side-by-side reminder of how different she looks now than she once did. If so, she would not be alone in abstaining from the challenge. From illness to pregnancy to the ravages of life, a lot of people don’t feel too great about how they’re looking in 2019 selfies. This is a bigger issue for celebrity women, whose fans seem confused when they no longer look like they did when they were 20. The 10 Year Challenge has garnered a number of reactions. Those of us who were already adults in 2009 sometimes see a friend or peer’s 2009 photo in which they were a tween and feel centuries old. Others have simply shown how much of a glow-up they’ve experienced — or at least, how much better their current camera works. A few trans folks, like Caitlyn Jenner, have used it to highlight their transitions into their authentic selves. Good for them. Others have used the challenge to raise environmental concerns, such as showing how much glaciers have decreased in size in just one decade. As wilth all such challenges, it’s completely optional. Any pressure to participate exists only in your own mind. Some people choose to own their new look, even if it is radically different than what it once was. But that’s their choice. Mariah made hers. Fans, at least, seemed to support that. “If Mariah Carey says that time does not exist,” one fan tweeted. “Then time does not exist PERIOD.” “Me walking in late with a Starbucks drink…..uhhh time is not something I acknowledge,” reads another fan tweet. Another wrote: “This is the energy you need to leave work and start your weekend now.” That, as the kids say, is a mood. Jenelle Evans: Did She REALLY Quit Teen Mom 2?!

At this point, just about every star in the Teen Mom franchise has threatened to quit the show over clashes with producers and/or fans. Thus far, none of the moms has actually made good on her threats. That’s not surprising, as it’s easier to talk about walking away from a cushy six-figure gig than it is to actually do it. These days, Jenelle Evans is threatening to quit , and she may be the first to actually cut ties with the show by choice. After all, no cast member has ever generated nearly as much controversy — or attracted as much negative attention — as Jenelle. In a new trailer for the upcoming season of Teen Mom 2 , Jenelle engages in a heated discussion with her mother, Barbara Evans. (Most of Jenelle’s conversations are with Barbara this season, as her husband, David Eason, was fired from the show, and she’s not on speaking terms with her most recent ex, Nathan Griffith.) “This will probably be my last season,” a tearful Jenelle tells her mom in the clip below. Teen Mom 2 Season 9 Preview “Stay the f–k away from me, because I’m done,” she adds, in case anyone doubted her sincerity. Jenelle certainly sounds like her mind is made up in that clip. And while we would be somewhat surprised to see her cut off her family’s sole source of income (David remains unemployed nearly a year after losing his TV gig.), Jenelle has been signaling that she’s fed up with the show for quite some time now. And with all the negative attention she’s been drawing to herself lately, stepping away from the spotlight is probably the best thing Jenelle could do. Well, divorcing David Eason and fleeing with her kids to safety is the best thing Jenelle could do, but lowering her public profile is the second best thing she could do. There have been so many David and Jenelle scandals in recent months that it’s difficult to decide which is the most horrendous. Obviously, David (allegedly) beating Jenelle and leaving her hospitalized is a strong contender. But Eason posting terrorist threats on Instagram and being investigated by the Secret Service is pretty f–ked up, as well. In a perfect world, the decision wouldn’t be Jenelle’s to make, and MTV would kick her to the curb so as not to continue financing a family of violent bigots. Future just dropped his “The WIZRD” album and as part of the rollout, he stopped by  Beats 1 on Apple Music . While there for FreeBandz Radio he spoke to Big Bank Black about a number of traptastic things; his new project, his rise to stardom and even that time he gave rapper YC the track “Racks” purposely, to jumpstart his own career. Things got especially interesting however when Future was asked to speak on his ex and her Seattle Seahawks husband.  According to the Astronaut rapper, he has “no feelings” for Russell because he’s “controlled by Ciara.” According to Future, Russell should step up and be a “man” and tell Ciara to stop mentioning his name in public. “He do exactly what she tell him to do! II feel like he not being a man in that position,” said Future. “He not tellin’ her, ‘Chill out with that on the internet. Don’t even talk to him. I’m your husband! You better not even bring Future’s name up!’ If that was me, she couldn’t even bring his name up,” he added. “She know that. She couldn’t even bring her exes’ names up. I don’t care what they gave you […] Don’t bring their names up in an interview, no! Don’t give that s**t no energy. It’s about me! I’m taking care of everything!”   Future also added that he thinks Russell should’ve stopped Ciara from taking him to court and revealed that he declined Ciara’s invitation to meet him.  “He think ‘oh you should go to court’—no! You better not show up for court. ‘I’ll take care of him before you sue him.’ […] “You’d already started going around my kid when y’all started going together and you haven’t even talked to me,” said Future. “And y’all got married and she said ‘Oh I want you to meet Russell.’ Why would I want to meet him now?! Y’all already did the damage!” “I’m not trying to be around your kids and I don’t know their baby daddy,” he aded. […] “Because he have a daddy, not only do he have a daddy, his daddy is in the public.” Well, well, well. Someone’s still clearly a little salty… He did say however that he thinks it’s a positive thing for little Future to be around a top NFL player because his son is being coached by one of the best in the business. “I played football, basketball, and baseball,” said Future. Grey’s Anatomy Recap: Did MerLuca Hook Up?

There was a lot up in the air as Grey’s Anatomy made its triumphant return to the air on Thursday night.  While the hospital was plunged into darkness, lives were on the line, but fans only had one thing on their minds: MerLuca! Meredith and DeLuca were trapped inside an elevator mere moments after the latter opened up about his strong feelings for the former.  If fans thought they were in for one of the show’s steamy hookups, then they were sorely mistaken.  Meredith was too concerned about Cece’s wellbeing. As you will recall, Meredith had a heart for Cece and was gearing up to harvest it to save the love guru.  That was moments before the storm plunged the hospital into darkness. Desperate to prove his he was worthy of being her man, DeLuca pressed on with finding a way to escape.  Before the elevator actually got moving, DeLuca persisted to get his point across to Meredith. He thought she was excellent, and he would be very interested in getting between the sheets with her.  Grey was grinning from ear-to-ear, but she was not ready to get hot and heavy in an elevator. Things took a turn when DeLuca revealed that his father was a famous surgeon in Italy. However, he operated on seven patients during a manic phase and saved four.  He was tried but acquitted because he had money and connections. In a genuinely romantic moment, Mer asked her beau to speak to her in Italian.  Here’s the translated version of what he said: “When you finally let me kiss you, and you will let me kiss you, I won’t ever stop.” Mer understood every single word he said, and the pair got close. Then the freaking door opened.  As for Cece, she started the hour in a bad way. Her vitals were dropping, and it was not looking good.  “My old heart is jealous of my new one,” she told Maggie. One of the new interns, Taryn, worried that Cece was about to pass away and there was no heart ready because it was trapped in another elevator.  “I just think we’re gonna plummet, and Cece’s gonna die,” said Taryn to Bailey while in said elevator.  On the outside, Jackson was going all out to save Cece and went as far as threatening the hospital’s building manager because he wanted in that elevator stat.  When the manager did actually he help, he got his legs crushed by the doors of the elevator.  Cece continued to get closer to death and realized there was something amiss, so she chatted with Maggie about the surgeon’s love life.  But the conversation was cut short when Cece flatlined.  Meredith tried to save her life and was ecstatic there was a heartbeat.  “We got a heartbeat,” Mer yelled. “Thank God — she told me she would haunt me.” The next thing we knew, Mer was talking to Cece about her romantic interests, and the camera pulled back to reveal that Cece was dead.  Looks like not everyone can win, you guys.  elsewhere on this wild installment: – Maggie wanted to break some more rules to tell Jackson about Catherine’s cancer and sulked around the hospital as others told her not to.  – Bailey had an epiphany: She loved Ben and wanted to make everything right. She texted him before reaching out to Karev to ask for his help.  – Amelia, Teddy, and Owen all took the baby news well, with Teddy agreeing to stay in Seattle because the child could have two parents. Bachelor Fans Defend Aly Raisman After Demi Burnett Comments

If you've been following  The Bachelor  Spoilers , you know who wins Colton Underwood's heart and who flops. But a number of fans were shocked, angry, and defensive at one contestant's words. Did Demi Burnett insult Colton Underwood, Tia Booth, Becca Kufrin, and Aly Raisman all in the same breath? As Colton affirmed in a very recent interview, Olympic gold medalist  Aly Raisman was his first real love . Some members of the Bachelor Nation and even the Bachelor Fam took issue with Demi Burnett's words on this week's episode of The Bachelor. Why? Because they interpreted what she said, as you can see in the video we included, as an attack on Aly. Are they right? Was Demi badmouthing Aly (and Tia Booth)? Let's take a careful look at Demi's words and find out. “I think Colton will realize he needs a girl in his life that is more bold and confident,” Demi said. “And,” she continued, she believes that Colton needs a girl who “will take a bit more of a dominant role.” “I think that Colton is looking for a girl that can take charge and take control,” Demi speculated. “Even if he, like, doesn’t know that he’s looking for that,” Demi admitted. “I think that that’s what he needs.” That is arguably a little presumptuous or a little sexy. But it's not like she was telling the camera that she wants to peg him. So why were her words controversial? The controversy arose from what she said here: “I totally think that Colton’s past relationships, they weren’t very aggressive girls,” Demi characterized. “They weren’t very dominant girls,” she claimed. “And they didn’t work out for him for a reason.” “I’m the only one who challenges Colton,” Demi stated. “And,” she concluded. “I excite him and I make him nervous.” The Bachelor Nation did not like the sound of Demi's words at all. “Um… what does Demi know about his past relationships?” one fan asked. The tweet continued: “publicly both Becca and Aly Raisman are amazing women that challenged him.” “Aly Raisman is a strong, dominant goddess,” asserted another. Yet another fan wrote: “Demi is clearly wrong af.” “Demi can’t say that Colton has never dated anyone as bold or confident as her,” noted another. That fan continued: “When Aly Raisman helped to take down one of the biggest sexual predators this world has ever seen.” Dr. Larry Nassar was sentenced to life in prison , and Aly was one of the women who bravely came forward to testify about his monstrous sexual predation. Tia Booth is Colton's other most famous ex. Taking to Twitter, she clapped back at the perceived insult. “I scared him into dating me for 3 whole days,” Tia said in response to Demi's words. “So,” she continued. “Idk what’s more dominant than that.” That's either a good point or a decent joke, but we're not sure which. We do have to say that, perhaps, Demi was saying that she is the only one of the current contestants who challenges Colton. That is not to say that we agree with her. That is just how we interpreted her meaning. Demi is right that some people prefer more assertive guidance from their partners. Others very strongly do not. Assuming what another person needs is not always the wisest move. Even so, Demi definitely made herself a little more interesting. Villain or misunderstood, even if she doesn't win Colton's heart, she could end up being a hit with the Bachelor Nation.

She informed her 38 million followers on Instagram that Donald Trump ordered thousands back to work at their government jobs without pay . She even has a counter for those who say, “but what about when Barack Obama shut down the government for 17 days when he was President?” Well, Cardi reminded folks that the 2013 shutdown was due to the Republican majority in the House of Representatives attempting to get Democratic President Barack Obama to repeal the Affordable Care Act. “They did that for health care! So your grandma can check her blood pressure and you b*tches can check ya’ll p*ssies at the gynecologist with no motherf**kin’ problem!” Cardi said. She added, “This sh*t is really f*cking serious. Over a f*cking wall. I feel like we need to take some action. This is crazy and I really feel bad that these people got to go to work to not get f*cking paid.” Pretty sure the “woke” class is going to stan Cardi’s message here. The shutdown has affected Houston since Sunday, particularly at IAH where Terminal B is currently shut down due to a shortage of TSA workers to work the terminal. At this point, we’re nearing almost a month into the shutdown with no end in sight. NeNe Leakes’ Husband Gregg Pens Public Apology for Hurtful Behavior

Some time after Thanksgiving of last year,  NeNe Leakes blasted her cancer-stricken husband . She even described his behavior towards her as “evil,” openly complaining about him. Now, Gregg Leakes is acknowledging his bad treatment of her during his cancer battle, and singing NeNe’s praises. “We always hurt the ones we Love,” Gregg Leakes begins his heartfelt Instagram post. “Because,” he writes. “They allow us to hurt them rather than snap back.” “I’m tired of hurting my wife,” he says, referring to his hurtful words that he has said during his cancer battle. He praises NeNe, “who is only trying to take good care of me.” “And,” he admits, NeNe “wants only the best for me too.” “She deserves much more,” Gregg says of his wife. He is grateful “for her hard efforts and tireless hours spent on me.” And he asks for help and guidance in treating her with the respect that she deserves. “I Pray to God to get it together,” Gregg admits. Hey, there’s nothing wrong with admitting that you need help, even if it’s with getting yourself under control. Gregg’s post continues, and here, he sings the praises of NeNe. “She’s done NO wrong…” he asserts. NeNe predicted that, in Gregg’s shoes, she would “not being mean, grouchy, and evil for no real reason!” “But that’s me,” she concluded. “Pray for me.” If you have had a close relative with cancer, you know that sometimes, they can lash out with hurtful words at their caregivers. Some interpreted NeNe’s message about Gregg gambling as shady. We’re not so sure. Some people get their impressions of cancer battles either from seeing distant relatives at the very end of their lives, or from television. In real life, people with cancer usually continue to live their lives, but less comfortably after their chemo treatments. People with cancer shop, meet up with friends, play video games, and gamble as before. She wasn’t trying to shame him for enjoying himself, just to illustrate that her impatience with his grouchiness is understandable. She’s not tweeting her frustrations about a man who’s confined to a hospital bed. She’s talking about the realities of having a husband with cancer.
