This is ironic: A state prosecutor has been charged after biting a man’s leg during a drunken fracas at an adult store, authorities said. Sarah Naughton, an assistant state’s attorney for four years, was facing charges of misdemeanor battery and criminal trespass after the attack on Saturday night. Naughton and a male companion both appeared to be intoxicated, according to police, and were asked to leave shortly after they entered Taboo Tabou in Chicago. However, 31-year-old Naughton became belligerent and bit a manager. According to authorities, her friend, Bradley Gould, shoved the worker and made ‘menacing gestures’. The store owner took the manager to a nearby hospital for treatment and he was later released. Police arrived and placed the lawyer in handcuffs. She began wailing loudly that she couldn’t feel her hands because they were ‘too tight’. She rocked backwards and forwards on the curb, crying hysterically and at one point, called the arresting female police officer: ‘A f****** b**** w****.’ Her behavior was captured on video by a passer-by. After being taken away in a police van, Naughton was charged and released on bond. Taboo Tabou owner Mark Thomas told ABC: ‘My staff asked, ”Have you folks been drinking? Maybe you should come back when you’re sober.”’ Mr Thomas then said that Miss Naughton became enraged and started to tell them what she did for a living, pulling out a badge and adding: ‘You can’t do this to me…I’m a state’s attorney.’ Cook County spokesman Andy Conklin said Naughton had been placed on administrative leave during the investigation. Woman Dies In LAPD Custody After Reportedly Being Kicked By Police Officer Several LAPD officers are under investigation after a drug-addicted young mother died following a forceful arrest where she was reportedly kicked in her lady lips by one of the arresting officers. At least five Los Angeles Police officers are being investigated after 35-year-old Alesia Thomas (pictured) died in police custody, the Los Angeles Times reports. On July 22, Thomas reportedly left her two children, a 3-year-old and 12-year-old, at the LAPD’s southeast station after allegedly telling officers that she could no longer care for them because of her drug addition. Officers were assigned to look for Thomas and found her at her home in the 9000 block of South Broadway in Los Angeles. After being questioned, the officers arrested her “on suspicion of child endangerment.” But, Thomas “began actively resisting arrest.” One of the officers took her down by sweeping her legs from underneath her. Another one of the officers reportedly went as far as kicking her in the “lady lips” during the arrest. The official account, however, made no mention of what another officer confirmed was a female officer’s questionable treatment of Thomas. The department’s account said officers immediately notified paramedics. It is unclear whether the officers attempted to resuscitate her and how much time passed before paramedics arrived. Sheriff’s Deputy Jagger Naves of Rowan County, N.C. was a very popular man last Monday when his cell phone rang four separate times around 4 a.m. The calls came from four different people who mistakenly contacted the deputy to complain about drug purchases. They all got arrested. The Salisbury Post reported some of the calls to Deputy Naves complained about the quantity of drugs they had purchased and wanted him to correct the problem. Taran Noah Smith, one of Tim Allen’s kids on Home Improvement , was arrested early this morning for alleged DUI and drug possession, according to TMZ. Hashish, to be specific. Or hash as the kids call it. The now-27-year-old Smith was arrested in L.A. County around 1:00 a.m., and police believe he was under the influence of marijuana at the time of his arrest. An alleged stash of hash (a type of weed) was found. Smith, best known for his role as little Mark Taylor, is still in custody and was booked for the DUI and the drug possession, which is a felony. Not good. He was allegedly behind the wheel of his ’98 silver Honda Accord, which was parked at an angle in front of a fire hydrant when an officer investigated.
