Dear Bossip , I am a 21 year old college student who is in desperate need of advice. I am on a “break” with my boyfriend because our arguments began to become very heated and physical. About two weeks ago, he literally punched me in the face (mouth to be exact) whilst we were arguing. As I said, we have been together for a year, but a few months ago I started to feel tired of all the arguments and we would literally disagree on everything. I’ve tried to end it in the past, but he manipulates me every time. Now that he has been abusive to me, I don’t want to be in a relationship anymore because his anger scares me sometimes. We are now only on a break because he has threatened to commit suicide if I ever leave him. I am worried about him because he needs help and he said he doesn’t. I am also worried for the safety of myself. He apologizes and cries almost every day, and this just makes me feel as though I am hurting him more and more. I have made up my mind that I do not want to have him in my life anymore, but I am only on this ‘”break” with him because I am afraid that he does something stupid and it will be all my fault. I have no clue how to end it or what to do about all of this. I am just very tired of all of this. On another note, I met some about a month ago and we talk very often, and it is obvious that we like each other. He shows me that he likes me a lot by the things he does and says, but I am worried because he is about 8 years older than me and he does have more experience than me. I don’t want to move too fast either, but what can I do to see if he really does like me or if it is just a plan to get into my pants? – On A Relationship Break Dear Ms. On A Relationship Break , First, you need to file a police report against your boyfriend for domestic assault. He punched you in your face, in your mouth. Do not take this lightly. If he is verbally and physically abusive, then please know he will do more harm the next time, and you yourself may not live another day. It was a punch this time, and trust me, the next time you will be laid up in a hospital with tubes coming out of your body, or you won’t be alive. STAY AWAY FROM HIM AND DO NOT LET HIM BACK INTO YOUR LIFE! Do not meet up with him to discuss anything, talk about anything, or work anything out. DO NOT MEET UP WITH HIIM! Second, get a restraining order from the police. I hope that you have saved all the texts, and messages of him confessing what he did. You will need this for documented proof that he is violent and has violent tendencies. Let them know that you don’t feel safe, and you fear for your life. Show them the texts where he says he will harm himself if you leave him. If he can harm himself, then please know that he will have no problem harming you. Please do not get back into a relationship with him, and end it today. Immediately! Third, block his number from your phone. Do not answer calls from blocked numbers or from numbers you don’t recognize. It will be him. Block him on social media. Block his emails. If he shows up at your home, then call the police. You will have your restraining order. He will go to jail. In regards to the new guy, please proceed with caution. But, quite honestly, I recommend that you take a break from dating and relationships at this time. You are too vulnerable, and too fragile at this moment to move into another relationship. You are in an emotionally and physically abusive relationship, and though you may not recognize it you are hurting, in pain, seeking solace, and you want someone to show you compassion, tenderness, and love, the things your boyfriend didn’t show you or could give you. So, you’re very vulnerable, and fragile. This new guy appears to be all the things you think you need, but because you emotionally and mentally hurting you won’t be able to recognize any other signs he may be exhibiting. You could attract another abusive guy and not even know it. Therefore, take this time and work on yourself. Heal your heart, mind, and soul. Lastly, find someone you can speak with on your campus, either a counselor, professor, or a therapist. Someone you can trust. You stated you are a college student. Then, I recommend seeking out your psychological campus services and speak with someone who can help you work through all of this. Make an appointment and let them know what has happened to you, and what is currently taking place. Your boyfriend is manipulative and conniving. He continues to make threats to you and against himself. That is a problem, especially if you think you feel guilty if something should happen to him if you don’t take him back. You don’t owe him anything. You are not responsible for what he does to himself, or if he harms himself. He is mentally and emotionally unstable. STAY AWAY FROM HIM! Also, if you live on campus, and if your boyfriend attends the same school, you can file a report against him. Even if he doesn’t you can still file a report. You didn’t mention if you lived on campus or commute to school. Regardless, seek out the services that are free from your school, and speak with someone. You have to report what has happened to you, and begin a paper trail just in case something critical happens to you by your boyfriend. Please review all of the above, and take the necessary steps. Thus far, the Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa break-up has been surprisingly peaceful and amicable. We were taken by surprise when the Flip or Flop stars announced their separation last month, and were then disappointed when Tarek filed for divorce this week , ensuring no reconciliation. But we’ve been encouraged by how maturely this split has been handled. Is that about to change, however? Is some mud about to be slung? Are the bitter insults about the fly? We can’t help but wonder on the heels of the revelation that Tarek is actually seeking spousal support from Christina. In court documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight, the Flip or Flop anchor has asked his estranged wife to provide for him finally. He is also requesting of the court that his ability to award alimony to Christina be terminated. Finally, the legal papers confirm that Tarek is would like Christina pay for his attorney’s fees. The divorce petition was filed on Monday at the Orange County Superior Court and include a request by Tarek for joint legal and physical custody of his and Christina’s two children, six-year-old daughter Taylor and one-year-old son Brayden. That makes sense, of course. It would be strange if Tarek did not want joint custody of his kids. But what do we make of his financial demands? Is he pressing Christina for money because he’s angry over the way she’s moved on? Within days of the couple’s separation news going viral, we learned that Christina is dating Gary Anderson , the family contractor. The romance appears to be quite serious. “Tarek feels betrayed by Gary, as he had worked for both him and Christina and feels like he should not have gotten involved in their relationship,” a source tells HollywoodLife, adding: “He believes that things might have panned out differently if Gary had chosen not to get close to his wife.” So there you supposedly have it. Last month, the Internet learned of a frightening incident that took place between Christina and Tarek in May . The then-married twosome got into an argument that resulted in Tarek storming out of their home and into the woods, taking a gun with him. Christina was concerned for his safety and called the police. Once they converged on Tarek, he said he was upset, but never had any kind of suicidal thoughts. He simply took the weapon with him as protection against animals. After this unusual story went public, the HGTV stars released the following statement: “Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage. “We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. According to People Magazine, they are still filming Flip or Flop together. “The children are their number one priority and maintaining normalcy for them,” an insider tells this publication. “They will do anything for their children.” That’s good to hear at least. After taking a holiday hiatus, look for Tarek and Christina to keep shooting new episodes of their HGTV series together for seven or eight more months. They are under contract to do so. They share two kids. They will be part of each other’s lives for a long time moving forward. “We plan to continue our professional life together by being professional, by doing our jobs well, by being prepared and by working hard,” the former couple has also said in the recent past. Texas Police Officer Gives Weed Smoker A Chance To Dodge Jail With 200 Push-Ups Every now and then you come across a good cop who actually wants to HELP the citizens he patrols. Graphic aftermath of a botched robbery in Homestead, Fl. was just released showing 2 of 3 people injured after having a shootout. Brothers, Giobel Fonseca Canete and Edgar Fonseca Morales, both attempted an armored truck robbery that left one of the brothers dead and the other telling. The guard in the video was shot in the hip area and is expected to make a recovery. Police say Giobel Canete and Edgar Morales waited in their SUV until an armored truck guard walked out a bank with a package of money, approached the man, then got dumped on and started dumping back. Brother Edgar Morales was shot in the head and the leg, he was pronounced dead on the scene…as you see in the video above. The other brother, Giobel Canete, took a bullet in the leg and was caught, ultimately telling the police everything…even implicating help on the inside.
Fort Worth Officer Arrests Distraught Black Mother Who Called Him For Help A Fort Worth mother, disturbed by her neighbor’s actions toward her 7-year-old son, called an officer to help her properly confront the neighbor about his actions. Instead, she was spoken down to, antagonized, and ultimately arrested herself. The mother needed assistance as a white man allegedly choked her seven-year-old son after he supposedly littered. The man ordered him to pick up the paper he dropped, and assaulted the little boy when he wouldn’t comply. The child immediately told his mother what happened, at which point she called the police to confront the man. The cop’s response? “Well why didn’t you teach your son not to litter?” UNBELIEVABLE. The mother naturally got upset with the officer’s line of questioning and expressed as much, at which point the officer escalated the situation and ended up arresting the mother for getting too “Mouthy” with him. Meanwhile the grown man who chokes first-graders over trash hasn’t been asked a single thing. The Fort Worth Police Department addressed the issue , since it went viral on social media, and say that the clearly racist officer has been put on “restricted duty” while they continue the investigation into what happened. We guess the video clearly showing what happened isn’t quite clear enough… We doubt their “findings” will conclude much more than “officers get to do whatever they want.” SMH. At least no one was shot or killed this time… According to CBS , the executive director of the ACLU of Texas, Terri Burke released the following statement on the matter: “We regret that the FWPD is giving the officer 48 hours to prepare his report on the incident. That leaves us with only the video on which to rely for information. When the mother of a seven-year-old boy calls the police to report an assault on her son, the responding officer should expect to find her distraught. In this instance, the officer ignored basic community policing standards and his own responsibility to de-escalate the confrontation. This incident and countless others like them demonstrate that for people of color, showing anything less than absolute deference to police officers —regardless of the circumstances — can have unjust and often tragic consequences. This fundamental injustice is also a threat to public safety. If a Black woman in Fort Worth can’t call the cops after her son is allegedly choked by a neighbor without getting arrested, why would she ever call the cops again?” Ridiculous. SMH. Facebook
It turns out the show must NOT go on after all. Following several days of damaging headlines regarding the stars of Flip or Flop, HGTV has apparently decided that it will not continue to air new episodes of this once-beloved real estate-themed series. According to a new E! News report, installments of Flip or Flop that have already filmed or which have been contracted to film will be broadcast as planned throughout 2016 and early 2017. HOWEVER: “The show will end after that,” an insider confirms. That’s the current plan, at least, and it’s an understandable one. Earlier this month, stars Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa announced that they separated back in May. They had held off on telling the public about their marital status until they were forced to do so by a leaked police report, one that outlined a frightening incident that took place in and around their Orange County home this spring. Back then, Tarek responded to a fight with Christina by grabbing a gun and heading into the woods. Christina feared that her husband was going to kill himself and dialed 911. Many police officers (and a helicopter) then arrived on the scene, coming across a distraught Tarek, who claimed that he had only taken a gun into the wilderness as protection against animals. The couple then turned over a handful of other (legally registered) firearms to the authorities. Once this situation went viral, Tarek and Christina issued a statement that broadly acknowledged what happened and also acknowledged their split. HGTV then went ahead and issued its own statement, claiming that it would continue to air Flip or Flop as if nothing had happened between Tarek and Christina. The two were planning to maintain their business relationship, despite this personal setback. But it has since come out that Tarek dated the family nanny after splitting from Christina; while Christina is still dating the family contractor . While the network is yet to confirm the E! report that a Flip or Flop end date is basically at hand, it would make sense that these negative headlines related to the show’s stars have simply become too much of a burden. No one has been accused of molesting a relative, but this situation at least bears some similarity to when Lifetime pulled the plug on 19 Kids and Counting as a result of Josh Duggar’s despicable behavior. Tarek recently stood up to a cyber-bully who went after Christina. And the couple is saying all the right things in public. “We are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be,” the two told E! News. “We will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together.” Meanwhile, until this latest assertion that the end is near, the network has been nothing but supportive. “We admire and appreciate Tarek and Christina’s great work on Flip or Flop. When it comes to matters related to their own family, we respect their privacy and honor any decision that works best for them and their children,” the network told E! News in another statement. “HGTV is currently airing episodes of Flip or Flop and the series will continue production as scheduled.” That may still be the network stance, too. Executives may have simply come to the conclusion that it’s not worth planning a new season of the program, considering all this crazy, ongoing drama. Hey, do you want to hear a ridiculous story about Donald Trump? We know, we know, our entire society has basically turned into a ridiculous story about Donald Trump , but trust us, you’ll want to hear this new development. It’s not so much about Trump directly as it is about Scott Baio, the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ drummer’s wife, and an alleged assault, but … well, you’ll see. OK, so Scott’s kid goes to the same elementary school as Chad Smith’s kid. Chad, of course, is in the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and his wife, Nancy Mack, took their child to a school function. Scott was there with his daughter, Nancy noticed Scott, and that’s when things got bad . At this point, it’s important to point out that Scott is a loud and proud Trump supporter. He spoke at the Republican National Convention in July, where he urged us all to “make America America again!” He said that Trump was running for president “out of the goodness of his heart,” while Hillary Clinton was running because she felt “entitled to the presidency.” And then, if you needed more proof of his delusional nature, in 2010 he tweeted an unflattering photo of Michelle Obama and remarked “He wakes up to this every day.” Get it, like poor Barack Obama, he’s married to an absolute queen? Yeah, the joke didn’t land , but what we’re getting at is that Scott has a history of being absurd when it comes to political figures. Right, so he and Nancy were at the elementary school function, and when Nancy saw him, she confronted him about his support of the Mighty Orange One. According to the police report Scott filed — yeah, you know this is going to get good — he asked Nancy to keep her voice down since there were so many children around, but she refused. She brought up the infamous “grab them by the pussy” comments that Trump made, asking Scott how he could possibly support a man who said such things. Scott said that she “repeatedly screamed” the phrase “grab them by the pussy.” He kept asking her to stop, you know, for the children, but she wouldn’t, and then he claims that she actually attacked him, that she shook him and pushed him and grabbed him. All that is in the police report, but sources close to Nancy maintain that “she was merely trying to show Baio how Trump hugs women” and that she “denies any intentional physical aggression.” Yes, you’re reading this right: this is a story about a woman who tried to grab Scott Baio “by the pussy” at an elementary school function. The world will never be the same. The local sheriff’s department is looking into the incident, but honestly, does the outcome matter? Will it add anything to the story? Will it lessen its effect on our hearts? Of course it won’t. Nothing ever could. In times of sorrow, when Donald Trump finally destroys the country, let’s let this moment be of comfort to us.
