Peterson Foundation’s 2013 Fiscal Summit in D.C. “I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I know this: that is the worst expenditure of our time,” he said, adding that it’s “frustrating” to be talking politics. “She’s taking a role in the foundation, she’s writing books, she’s having a little fun being a private citizen for the first time in 20 years,” Clinton said. “We need to be worried about the work at hand right now. Ted Nugent Responds To Hugo Chavez Death According to TMZ reports : Ultra-conservative freedom-loving Republican rock star Ted Nugent has three words for the dead former President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez — “ADIOS MO FO.” Nugent — a staunch anti-Communist — tells TMZ, “All dictators, tyrants, slave-drivers and despots should die ASAP. Let freedom ring.” Chavez died yesterday following a battle with cancer. It makes total sense Nugent would hate the guy — Chavez was an outspoken anti-American who has long criticized America’s foreign policy. During his political career, Chavez also allied with the Communist government of Cuba and the Socialist governments of other Latin American countries. In sum, Chavez pretty much embodied everything Nugent hates about extremist left-wing politics. Ok fine, we get it. Ted hates everyone that isn’t a gun-totin’, gay-hatin’, church-goin’, American. Despite many a clandestine rendezvous and some suggestive Instagram photos of late, it’s the first time in years they’ve arrived at an event together. The two arrived to the arena in the same car, but got out of the vehicle separately, according to TMZ, most likely to avoid celebrity gossip attention. They eventually met up inside and sat together in courtside seats, making for an unabashedly public date in front of 18,000 fans plus millions of TV viewers. Chris Brown and Rihanna haven’t officially announced they’re a couple, though this would certainly suggest it … then again you never know with them. Despite a unique set of circumstances that made the idea feasible and rumors of his political ambitions, Ben Affleck will not be running for U.S. Senate. “I love Massachusetts and our political process, but I am not running for office,” the Argo director wrote on his Facebook page Monday, December 24. “We are about to get a great U.S. Secretary of State and there are some phenomenal candidates in Massachusetts for his Senate seat,” he added. “I look forward to an amazing campaign.” “Right now it’s a privilege to spend my time working with Eastern Congo Initiative (ECI), supporting our veterans, drawing attention to the great many who go hungry in the U.S. every single day and using filmmaking to entertain and foster discussion about issues like our relationship to Iran.” Rumors ran wild last week that Affleck would run for U.S. Senate in his native Massachusetts, replacing soon-to-be Secretary of State John Kerry. Hillary Clinton, currently the head of the U.S. State Department, made it clear she’d step down as soon as President Obama’s replacement is sworn in. A special election will be held in 2013 to fill Kerry’s seat in Congress’ upper chamber. During an interview on CBS’ Face the Nation last week, the actor-director played coy about the possibility he could throw his hat into the wide-open ring. “Well, one never knows,” he said. “I do have a great fondness and admiration for the political process, but I’m not going to get into speculation about my political future.” The husband of Jennifer Garner and father of three joked, “I’ve got a lot on my plate.”

San Francisco residents may soon be forced to wear clothes outside of their homes, and some activists are displeased by this proposed public nudity ban. City lawmakers are set to vote Tuesday on an ordinance that, if passed, would make it illegal for anyone over age 5 to expose their genitals in public. Hilariously, this is not currently against the law in San Francisco. Exemptions may be made for parades or festivals with a city permit, according to the ordinance. Just the same, a group of activists has already filed a lawsuit. One of the plaintiffs, Mitch Hightower , has organized an annual “nude-in” demonstration over the past several years in protest of the public nudity ban. “The ‘Nude In’ is intended to promote a spirit of tolerance, peace and fellowship among the attendees,” the lawsuit said, citing a constitutional right of free speech. “It attempts to criminalize nudity even when engaged in for the purpose of political advocacy.” George Davis, who ran for mayor in 2007 and District 6 supervisor in 2010 as the “nude candidate,” joined the suit, claiming he uses nudity “as part of his political expression.” If the ordinance is enacted, first time offenders would be fined $100. The fine increases to $200 for a second offense within 12 months. The third time a nudist is caught, they could be hit with a $500 fine and charged with a misdemeanor. So basically, Rihanna nude would be jailed in about two weeks. Just not right. Hopefully a judge strikes down this egregious affront to American freedom.
