Will Smith: I May Run for President!

In his new movie, Concussion , Will Smith portrays a doctor who takes on the National Football League. In a new interview, however, the actor says he has considered an even more monumental task: Taking on all political contenders… as a nominee for President of the United States! Speaking to Tracy Smith of CBS and making a clear reference to Donald Trump , Smith said the following over the weekend: “If people keep saying all the crazy kinds of stuff they’ve been saying on the news lately about walls and Muslims, they’re going to force me into the political arena.” Smith then asked the more famous Smith if he had a specific office in mind, to which he replied: “I mean, I gotta be the President. Come on!” Trump’s views on women, immigrants and Muslims (along with the mere fact of his incomprehensible popularity) have caused many celebrities to consider a run for the Oval Office. Kanye West famously said he’ll be on a Presidential ticket in 2020 , while Lindsay Lohan has also threatened a political run. But is Will Smith serious? He did tell Tracy Smith that his dream of being a movie star is accomplished, yet it feels “too small,” adding: “I realized that there was no way that I was put here just to be a movie star.” Might he have been put here to negotiate nuclear arms deals and NOT ban Muslims from entering America? Stay tuned! View Slideshow: 11 Stars Who Should Run for President

God Isn’t Fixing This: N.Y. Daily News Cover Slams "Coward" Politicians in Wake of Massacre

The New York Daily News’ cover in the wake of yesterday’s San Bernardino, Calif., massacre is both provocative and highly political. By design. The publication calls out those it feels could do something to end the plague of gun violence, but instead revert to useless platitudes, time after time. The tweet of the Daily News front page, which hits newsstands in print form this morning, is already the most retweeted of 2015 for the paper. Beneath the headline God Isn’t Fixing This, the cover reads: “As latest batch of innocent Americans are left lying in pools of blood, cowards who could truly end gun scourge continue to hide behind meaningless platitudes.” U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan and GOP presidential candidates Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush and Lindsey Graham all responded with “prayers.” Four pull quotes from the Republican political leaders are plastered on the publication’s front page in eerily similar, arguably meaningless glory. Think that means a lot to the victims of San Bernardino – 14 dead and 14 wounded – and the victims of the inevitable next mass shooting? For their part, and by contrast Democratic presidential hopefuls Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders pointedly called for “action” to stop gun violence. President Barack Obama, meanwhile underscored the need for stronger gun control laws in the United States after Wednesday’s mass murder. It’s a message he has stressed repeatedly in recent years, and weeks, as he is forced to address tragedies like this with alarming frequency. While the Daily News is obviously in the business of selling papers and ads and benefits from the viral sensation that is this cover, you tell us: Is it a viral sensation at least in part because it says what so many people are thinking but are afraid to, and so jarringly hits the nail on the head? AND VOTE: Time for stronger gun control measures? YES. Fewer guns, fewer tragedies! NO. It’s unconstitutional and won’t stop anything! View Poll »

Donald Trump Slams Ronda Rousey: I’m Glad She Lost!

As you may have heard, Ronda Rousey lost to Holly Holm in a stunning upset during Saturday night’s UFC 193 in Melbourne, Australia. As though it wasn’t bad enough that Rousey was pummeled to the point she’ll likely need to undergo reconstructive surgery, her haters are now having a field day with her unexpected defeat. Currently, the Justin Bieber-Ronda Rousey feud remains dormant (We’re sure Justin is well aware Ronda could still break him in half.), but the 28-year-old former champ’s other biggest critic has taken to Twitter to bask in her fall from grace: “Glad to see that @RondaRousey lost her championship last night,” presidential candidate and human throbbing forehead vein Donald Trump tweeted yesterday.  “Was soundly beaten – not a nice person!” The beef between these two dates back to August, when Rousey called Trump out for his lies in an interview.  Obviously, she’s one of literally thousands of public figures to do so in recent months, but Trump has a thing about bleeding women , so he pounced on Rousey with his usual schoolyard bully routine. Now, he’s glorying in the fact that she was beaten by a rival. Thankfully, we’re sure Ronda will get the chance to do the same once primary season gets into full swing. President Obama Assures Veteran: I Am NOT the Lead Singer From Korn!

On Wednesday, the nation celebrated Veterans Day , and numerous public figures took time to thank the men and women of America's armed forces for their service. Yesterday, as part of the White House's week-long tribute to our nation's troops, President Obama presented Army Captain Florent Groberg with the Medal of Honor – and dropped a bombshell that's certain to shake the world of American politics to its foundation. In his speech, Obama shared the following account of the first time he met Groberg: ” He woke up on a hospital bed in a little bit of a haze. He wasn’t sure, but he thought that he was in Germany, and someone was at his bedside talking to him And he thought that it was the lead singer from the heavy metal band Korn. “Flo thought, 'What’s going on? Am I hallucinating?' But he wasn’t, it was all real…And so, today, Flo, I want to assure you that you are not hallucinating. You are actually in the White House, those cameras are on, I am not the lead singer from Korn .” Obviously, this statement is outrageous for a number of reasons. For one thing, President Obama (if that is your real name), it was your duty to inform the American people that you're not the lead singer of Korn before we twice elected you to the highest office in the land! What if those votes were based on your innovative vocal stylings on “Freak On a Leash”? Also, Korn was really more of a rap-rock outfit than a “heavy metal band.” It's an important distinction, because – as indicated by the correlation between the release of Ben Carson's hip hop track and his rise in popularity – the American people want a president who can spit bars , son. Frankly, we don't know what to believe anymore. All this time, Donald Trump's been calling for Obama's birth certificate , when all we really needed to do was take note of the President's conspicuous lack of gold records and shiny Adidas track suits to know we'd been had.

Donald Trump as Saturday Night Live Host Sparks Protest!

Whether you love him or hate him, Donald Trump will host Saturday Night Live come this Saturday, November 7. The presidential candidate has made a joke of America’s political system, but not everyone is laughing though. Several dozen activists convened in front of NBC’s headquarters at 30 Rockefeller Center and demanded the network cancel Trump’s appearance. The activists circulated petitions and collected more than 500,000 signatures asking NBCUniversal to replace Trump with another guest host for Saturday’s show. Petitioners tweeted with the hashtag #racisimisntfunny and shared a letter to SNL’s Executive Producer Lorne Michaels and NBC’s President Steve Burke demanding a new host. Criticism from Latino advocacy groups and Hispanic politicians catalyzed the protest. The protestors were outraged that NBC invited Trump to host the show despite his comments describing Mexican immigrants as “rapists” who bring crime and drugs into the U.S. What is puzzling about NBC’s decision to feature real estate tycoon and politician is that Trump was fired from the network for his racist comments. Juan Escalante, rally organizer and director of digital campaigns for America’s Voice, told reporters that Trump’s rhetoric has ignited acts of violence against Latinos. He reminded NBC that allowing Trump to host the show will result in viewers boycotting the network’s programming. “[Latinos] do not want to see Trump’s racism or his anti-immigration message being satirized,” he told HuffPo. “There’s nothing funny about mass deportation. There’s nothing funny about separating families. There’s nothing funny about calling Mexicans ‘rapists’ and murderers.” “It’s a very poor show of judgment and it’s completely disrespectful to Latinos and viewers across the nation,” he added. Ben Carson Rap Song is Something That Actually Exists

Move over, Donald Trump . Ben Carson is here to prove that you may not be the craziest candidate in the field of 2016 Presidential nominees. The Republican hopeful, who is now leading many national polls among the GOP, has released a new 60-second campaign ad… which comes in the form of a rap song. Seriously. According to ABC News, the $150,000 radio ad buy (titled “Freedom”) will air for two weeks in Miami, Atlanta, Houston, Detroit, Birmingham, Alabama, Jackson, Mississippi, Memphis, Tennessee and Little Rock, Arkansas. The spot is meant to appeal to young African-America votes, featuring rapper Aspiring Mogul on the main vocals. But his spit-out verses are interspersed with portions of Carson’s stump speech. “America became a great nation early on not because it was flooded with politicians but because it was flooded with people who understood the value of personal responsibility, hard work, innovation and that’s what will get us on the right track now,” Carson says between Mogul’s rap. He later adds: “I’m very hopeful that I'm not the only one that’s willing to pick up the baton to freedom. “Because freedom is not free and we must fight for it every day. Every one of us must fight for us because we are fighting for our children and the next generation.” The aim of the this commercial ad is to motivate the urban market, with Carson believing he can take down Hillary Clinton is he wins 20 percent of the black vote next year. “Reaching them on a level they appreciate and follow and see if we can attract their consciousness about the election,” Carson campaign spokesman Doug Watts told ABC News. “They need to get involved and express their voice through their vote.” This is a real campaign ad. We are not making it up.

Mike Tyson: Vote Donald Trump for President!

Did Mike Tyson just deliver a knockout punch to Jeb Bush, Ben Carson and other Republican nominees for President? Probably not. But the former heavyweight champion of the world did step into the political ring during a recent interview with The Huffington Post, making it very clear who has his support. Speaking about Donald Trump, Tyson said simply, “he should be President of the United States,” going on to explain: “Let's try something new. Let's run America like a business, where no colors matter. Whoever can do the job, gets the job.” What about the comments Trump has made about women ? What about what Trump said about Mexicans ? And then about other immigrants? Tyson admitted some of these remarks may have been a tad on the “crude” side, but whatever. That's Iron Mike's basic take. Tyson doesn't believe Trump actually “thinks of Latinos in that [negative] way,” offering no real evidence to back up this assertion. The former boxer went on to say he would absolutely “endorse” Trump for real if asked, though Trump's campaign is yet to reach out and inquire. It is worth noting that Tyson may have changed his reputation over recent years by appearing in The Hangover movies and even starring in a Broadway play. But the guy did go to jail for rape. He also has a tattoo on his face. And he also once bit off part of Evander Holyfield's ear inside the ring during a match. Even Donald Trump may not want him in his corner. (Eh, who are we kidding? Donald Trump has no standards. )

Mike Huckabee on Josh Duggar: The Other 18 Kids Turned Out Fine!

Though Donald Trump receives roughly 9000% of the media coverage, there are still several other candidates still vying for the GOP’s presidential nomination. One of them is former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, and while even the most conservative Republicans seem to have come to terms with the fact that the Huckster wouldn’t stand a chance in a general election, he’s hanging in there like a…. Well, homespun analogies about stubborn tenacity are more his department.  Anyway, when Huckabee’s not mocking transgender people , he’s hitching his wagon to big, bright conservative stars in hopes that he can feast on some of the popularity crumbs they leave behind. Last month, Huckabee and Kim Davis were BFFs. Prior to that, Huckabee was one of the first politicians to sing the praises the Duggars as pristine models of integrity and family values. Obviously, this was long before the world learned that Josh Duggar molested his sisters and cheated on his wife with several prostitutes. Whoops. Other politicos such as Rick Santorum and Ted Cruz had the sense to distance themselves from the Duggar clan, but in another display of willful persistence (A hound dog with a ham bone? We got nothing…) Huckabee is sticking right by the 19 Kids and Counting clan. Well, most of the 19 Kids and Counting clan: “I’m not going to defend anything of Josh. Nothing to defend,” Huckabee said in a recent interview. “But I don’t think you can disparage the entire family because one of the members did some pretty bad things. “Out of 19 kids, as far as we know, 18 turned out pretty darn well. That’s a pretty good percentage.” Of course, six of the kids aren’t even in their teens yet, so it might it be a bit early to assess how they “turned out,” but with his willingness to declare victory about a decade or so prematurely, Huckabee is proving that he may have the makings of a Republican president after all. He might as well put on a flight-suit and stand in front of the ” Duggar compound ” in Arkansas with a “Mission Accomplished” banner behind him. Justin Bieber on Nude Photos: There Was Shrinkage!

Justin Bieber says he had two reactions when nude photos of the singer went viral earlier this month First, he was offended. “My first thing was like … how can they do this? Like I feel super violated,” Bieber told Access Hollywood of the shots that were snapped while he was on vacation in Bora Bora. “Like, I feel like I can’t step outside and feel like I can go outside naked. Like, you should feel comfortable in your own space … especially that far away.” It’s true. Bieber was on vacation at the time with Jayde Pierce , a model who probably saw him naked on her own later that night (intercourse-wise, we mean). Second, Bieber got defensive. “That was shrinkage for me,” he also told Access Hollywood. Wow, really, JB?!? If so, consider us extra impressed. Because, as you can see below, Twitter was quite blown away by Bieber’s size where it matters most for many guys… if you know what we mean: View Slideshow: Justin Bieber Naked: Twitter Reacts! After these controversial pictures were printed by The New York Daily News, Bieber hired a law firm to send the newspaper a cease-and-desist letter. It demanded all naked Justin Bieber photos be removed from the publication’s website within 12 hours and added: “We recently became informed that your company has obtained and is distributing unauthorized photographs of our client including images showing him without clothing.” This is the World Wide Web, of course, however. The pictures were removed by The New York Daily News, but if you search for them… you can find them.
