R & Beef: Tyrese Puts Usher On Blast For Making “Techno Music” And Says His Supergroup Of Washed Up Singers Are Bringing R&B Back

Shots fired! Tyrese appears to have fired shots at the likes of Usher at the 2012 BET Awards over his new sound of R&B music. Usher gave a performance of his smash hit single ‘Climax’ at the awards last night. However, one person who appears to not have been impressed with Usher’s dance music sound is Tyrese, who claims he is bringing back real R&B with his super group consisting of Tank and Ginuwine. He then tweeted: “R&B just got a face lift. We’re going to remind y’all why you fell in love with R&B music. TGT is coming soon.” Are you feeling Usher’s new sound? Make It Clap: Jersey Shore Cast Required To Sign ‘VD Clause’ Exempting Producers From Responsiblity For STD Contractions While Filming

Free clinic funds not included… Jersey Shore Cast Members Required To Sign ‘VD Clause’ Producers of reality television show “Jersey Shore” are having nothing to do with the potential consequences of the extracurricular activities of the cast. Prior to filming, each cast member is reportedly required to sign a smash-at-your-own risk agreement that exempts the producers and the show from being blamed for any unwanted souvenirs that they take home during taping as a result of their slorefest smash sessions. Veteran entertainment journalist Seth Kaufman , who has written a hot first novel about the cynical business of reality television, tells us that cast members of the MTV show, which is reportedly shooting its last season — and other reality series — have to agree to what’s known as a “VD clause” in which they agree not to hold show producers responsible for any sexually transmitted diseases they may catch while shooting the show. “What I’m told is that it’s pretty standard for reality shows,” says Kaufman, who refers to the creepy clause in “The King of Pain,” which was just published by Sukuma Books. Miley Cyrus Flaunts Fiance, Cleavage at Film Breakthrough Awards

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth made their first public appearance together yesterday since news broke of their engagement . But talk at the Australians in Film Awards & Benefit Dinner in Century City, California didn’t center around what was on Miley’s finger as much as what was on her body as a whole: a VERY little black dress! With not very much on top. “It’s called Zimmerman,” the 19-year old told reporters on the scene. “It’s from Australia. I love a little built-in corset, every girl does… I just wanted to wear something simple because tonight is all about him.” Hemsworth was actually recognized at the event, telling journalists that he and Miley are “very very excited” about their engagement. As for what sold Cyrus on her love? She explained: “I like when men work hard, I think it’s important. I always work really hard so it’s good to have someone who is as passionate about what they do and wants to be great at what they do instead of just being okay. We always strive to have our 130%.” [Photos: WENN.com]

Snoop Dogg Stopped For Pot Possession in Norway; World Gasps in Astonishment

Norway didn’t exactly roll out the red carpet for Snoop Dogg, stopping the rapper for pot possession. Fortunately, it didn’t throw the book at him either. Upon arriving at Oslo airport today in the country’s capital, Snoop was held by customs after a canine unit sniffed out a small amount of marijuana. Knock us over with a feather. This hasn’t happened since … January . Lucky for Snoop, Norway marijuana laws are lax; up to 15 grams is generally considered personal use and punishable by a fine of 5000 kroner ($827). So no criminal charges for the Doggfather, though he was also found to possess a large amount of cash exceeding legal limits and fined for that too. Total penalties: 52,000 kroner, or $8,600, which he paid – he was carrying massive amounts of cash after all – and then was sent on his way. Not a bad day for Norwegian customs officials or Snoop really. Customs officers who stopped him told the news outlet that he was polite throughout and they were not aware of who he was until he showed ID. Snoop Dogg, who was in Norway to perform as one of the headliners of the Hove Festival, was asked by VGTV why he was five hours late to the event. “Man, shut the f–k up,” he snapped, in big white shades emblazoned with his moniker. “I’m here… be happy I’m here and ask some real questions.” Point taken.

Kourtney Kardashian on Water Birth: EWWWWW!

Kourtney Kardashian will welcome a daughter into the world any day now, but this just in: the reality star will NOT be participating in a natural water birth. TMZ sources that Kardashian was considering this option because it’s reportedly a more peaceful process for the child… but Kourtney then witnessed the event in action a couple days ago and reacted to it in disgust. Kourtney allegedly told pals the entire thing was “horrific” and, without drugs administered to mother, “looked brutally painful,” although we have to ask: Doesn’t that description apply to dating Scott Disick as well? In the end, Kardashian will simply go the route of Beyonce and Jessica Simpson and rent out a suite at a hospital, Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles to be exact. No word yet on how much she’ll charge for the right to the first photos, but rest assured: it will be a lot. [Photo: WENN.com]

Media Fail: CNN, Fox News Erroneously Report Health Care Law Struck Down

The Supreme Court upheld Obamacare and its individual insurance mandate today, although Fox News and CNN apparently expected a different outcome. They were so surprised, they reported it was struck down! Many in the media expected the Supreme Court to throw out the 2010 Affordable Care Act, but no one officially knew until the ruling at 10:15 Thursday. Looks like CNN and Fox News jumped the gun. Fail. The Supreme Court’s 5-4 ruling established that the law, which mandates citizens have health insurance, is constitutional, since not doing so results in a tax. Nonetheless, Fox’s ticker initially reported that individual mandate had been declared “unconstitutional,” while CNN said the mandate had been “struck down.” Both networks ultimately corrected their reports, but not before their utter idiocy was disseminated throughout the Twitterverse. Really, guys, awesome work. It’s unclear if they were merely confused by the court’s extensive 193-page ruling or if they had that text ready to go ahead of time and forgot to change it. In any case, as HitFix’s Alan Sepinwall joked, this would make for a great episode of The Newsroom … in two years, with the full benefit of hindsight.
