Elizabeth Hurley proves one thing and that is that even when you are too old to get naked on that instagram thing that Facebook Evil Corporation runs in order to exploit all your data….you can still get naked enough on that instagram..it is good for the ego, gets you instant feedback, good for the personal brand…helps sell your products and gives the media something to talk about…without having to do much more than post seductively…. It’s a never too old to manipulate a system that you are presented with, especially when you have the work ethic and knowledge it took to manipulate the world in your favor long before instagram ever existed… You know…the real stars, the brains, the money, the power…is finally moving in on this internet and staking a claim in it, something I remember being a 25 year old in 1995 thinking “when will the government shut down this porn machine that allows you communicate with like minded perverts and really disrupt society as a whole…without them knowing… HOW DID IT GO ON FOR THIS LONG? RIP INTERNET….it died with Liz Hurley’s youth, but like Liz Hurley we must pretend it’s still alive…

New Video: Ebenezar Releases Visual For ‘Stats’ Featuring Col3trane

Ebenezer releases visual for “Stats” featuring Col3trane, lifted from debut EP  Bad Romantic . The video premiered earlier today via Complex UK, the video sees Ebenezer and Col3trane drenched in moody lighting weaving through secret corridors and London backdrops as the song unfolds. Watch  HERE . “My good friend Dir.Lx and I had so much fun making this. Can’t wait for you to hear more of what’s to come,” speaks Ebenezer. Bad Romantic  grips you from first listen and truly showcases his own signature UK rap aesthetic. An ode to real romance, the EP jumps from energetic deeper trap sounds on tracks like “Till I Die” and “Catch Feelings” and transitions to slower vibes with more emotive tracks like “South of France” and “Nostalgia,” overall rounding this project off as a stunning first EP from Ebenezer. In a few short years Ebenezer has worked with the likes of  Rejjie Snow ,  Jeremih ,  Ty Dolla $ign and Craig David. With a string of successful tracks released last year such as “F**K IT,” “Survival” and “Cliché,” Ebenezer is carving his own unique path – one of emotionally tinged R&B with hints of trap, completely void of the usual pretence that’s flooded the genre. In a way, it could be described as conscious turn-up music, but without a holier than thou message. The project sets Ebenezer apart from everyone else, as someone from London with a story to tell.  Born in Homerton, Ebenezer spent most of his childhood at a cousin’s house in Hackney along with his brother and sister. While his mother was busy holding down three jobs, Ebenezer and his brother spent most of their free time listening to music, watching MTV Base and learning to produce.

Pregnant On The Low, Mane: Woman Thought Her 37-Week Pregnancy Was Just Some Bad Chinese Food

Getty Images Woman In Florida Confuses Contractions For Food Poisoning 29-year-old Crystal Gail Amerson woke up at 4am with intense pain in her stomach. She assumed that searing pain had to do with the Chinese food they’d eaten the night before, but her and her fiancé, Brian Westerfield were in for a huge surprise when they found out the real reason for her discomfort. When hours passed and the pain continued,  Amerson realized that she didn’t have food poisoning…these were labor contractions. This was the first moment she realized she was pregnant.  Her fiancé called an ambulance and shortly after they arrived at the hospital, she gave birth to a 5-pound, 18-inch baby boy. At the hospital, doctors informed Amerson that she had been 37 weeks pregnant — which means that without realizing it, she’d carried a baby to full term.  “When the shock initially wore off, I was just relieved that everyone was okay,” Amerson wrote on Facebook. “It was a rough time, but it ended better than it could have.” As with her first son, says she didn’t gain much weight and didn’t experience the morning sickness that many women do.  Amerson had also been on birth control in the past that had eliminated her period, so although she didn’t get her period. Commonly referred to as a “cryptic pregnancy,” a pregnancy that goes unnoticed for as long as 37-weeks happens  1 out of every 7,225 births, according to a study from 2010.

EBONY Magazine Agrees To Pay $80K To Freelancers After #EbonyOwes Campaign

Dennis O’Clair Ebony Magazine Paying Freelancers $80,000 After being sued by freelancers who say there were never paid for their work, EBONY Magazine is paying up. The Chicago Tribune reports that the historic publication settled a lawsuit with dozens of freelancers nearly $80,000 to settle a lawsuit over unpaid work stretching back more than two years. Ebony Media and its owner CVG Group, will pay out the full amount in quarterly installments over the course of the year. Louise Slaughter Dies; Trailblazing Congresswoman Was 88

The House of Representatives has lost one of its most its most courageous voices. New York Rep. Louise Slaughter has passed away at the age of 88. Slaughter had been hospitalized since being injured in a fall at her home last week. She was the oldest sitting member of Congress. News of Slaughter’s death was confirmed today by her chief of staff Liam Fitzsimmons. “To have met Louise Slaughter is to have known a force of nature,” Fitzsimmons said in a statement issued to several media outlets. Indeed, Slaughter was a true rarity in the House of Representatives – a stalwart ideologue and shrewd negotiator who was also beloved by her colleagues on both sides of the aisle. First elected to represent New York’s 25th congressional district in 1986, Slaughter played key roles in shaping several hstoric pieces of legislation. She co-authored the Violence Against Women Act in 1994, but she might be best remembered for her role in helping to build congressional support for Obamacase as Rules Committee chairwoman in 2010. Slaughter was a longtime ally of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, who paid tribute to her late friend in a statement issued moments ago: “With her passing, the Congressional community has lost a beloved leader and a cherished friend,” Pelosi said. “Her strong example inspired countless young women to know their power, and seek their rightful place at the head of the decision-making table.” Speaker of the House Paul Ryan ordered the flags above the Capitol Building lowered to half mast in Slaughter’s honor: “She was unrelenting in fighting for her ideas and the people back home in Western New York,” Ryan said today. “But really, the thing that I keep coming back to is how she was tough, but unfailingly gracious. She was simply great.” In the hours since the congresswoman’s death, Slaughter’s name has become a trending topic on Twitter thanks to thousands of heartfelt tributes from colleagues and admirers from all over the political spectrum. Our forever president and first lady are exploring their Post-White House career options, and their last move could see them signing a deal with Netflix. According to The New York Times ,  Barack and Michelle are in talks to produce a series of shows for Netflix. A source close to the negotiations revealed the exciting news, explaining, “President and Mrs. Obama have always believed in the power of storytelling to inspire.” “Throughout their lives, they have lifted up stories of people whose efforts to make a difference are quietly changing the world for the better,” the insider added. “As they consider their future personal plans, they continue to explore new ways to help others tell and share their stories.” Although Barack has appeared on David Letterman’s Netflix show before, this might not seem like an obvious partnership at first. However, Barack and Michelle have something unique to offer as Netflix strategizes its upcoming slate of shows, specials, and films. The streaming service has declared its intentions to push for more original content, which could be its way to buffer the massive loss of content once Disney pulls the majority of its properties from Netflix. That includes most of Marvel’s shows and movies and Star Wars films. With the Obamas, Netflix has an opportunity to present a new type of content. Reportedly, one of the shows will feature Barack leading thought-provoking conversations about topics like health care, immigration, climate change, and voting rights–which were all huge policy issues during his time in office. There’s no word on what kind of show Michelle might lead at this time.
