Kim Kardashian Shares Cute Photo Of North When North West isn’t busy mean mugging the paparazzi, she’s getting started early playing Mommmy’s closet. Kim showed off her mini fashionista posing pretty in her Mama’s metallic thigh-high Balenciaga boots earlier today…and it is too precious. Interestingly enough, Kim called North’s shoe fetish out over a year ago. In an interview with Vogue.com, Kim said that Nori was very picky about her style and wanted shoes on first thing in the morning: “She’s really particular about what she likes to wear, she’s such a girlie girl…Every day she wakes up and says ‘shoes.’ You have to bargain with her — before you change her diaper she needs a pair of shoes on.” Well she picked quite a pair this time. Taco Bell Employee Fired For Refusing To Serve Police A Phenix City, Alabama Taco Bell employee has been fired after refusing to serve police officers according to WTVM. One of the officers’ wives, Tammy Bush Mayo (what an ironic last name) took to Facebook to post a lengthy rant about how her uniformed husband: My husband is a Deputy Sheriff in Lee County, Alabama and tonight a Deputy on his shift went into Taco Bell in Phenix City, AL and was told that they don’t serve cops. A lady waiting for her food spoke up to say that she was about to ask for a refund because she didn’t want to eat somewhere with a cop. This really disturbs me that people have started treating law enforcement professionals in this manner when these same law enforcement professionals put their lives on the line everyday to protect all people, including this woman with a very bad attitude at Taco Bell. We’re going to research this further but if this is what Taco Bell allows to happen, they have lost my business and I hope others of you will do the same. Sheriff Jay Jones said that the cashier told two of his officers that she would not serve them. When asked if she was kidding she replied: “No, I’m not serving you.” So sayeth the sheriff: I’m very disappointed that simply because they were uniformed law enforcement officers that our deputies were treated in such negative fashion. We pride ourselves in giving people basic respect and only ask the same in return. I am inclined to believe that this was the attitude of one employee and not the policy of the management. The fair thing is to give them an opportunity to respond. We won’t base our opinion of Taco Bell on one employee’s negative action any more than the general public should base their opinion of law enforcement on the negative action of one officer. Homeless Teen Graduates Early With Full Scholarship While a lot of ADULTS would be held back by a devastatingly unfortunate circumstance like homelessness , one DC teenager let it serve as the fuel to push her into academic success — all while holding down a 25-hour per week job and participating in extracurricular activities. Via MailOnline : A homeless Washington teenager managed to graduate high school two years early despite working 25 hours a week winning herself a full scholarship to college. Destyni Tyree was living in the DC Central homeless shelter in Washington DC along with 243 other families when the then 14-year-old’s enrolled into Roosevelt S.T.A.Y. High School. She had been forced out of previous schools when her mother lost her job and had to hand over the keys of the family home because they were no longer able to afford the rent. Within two years, Destyni was able to dramatically turn around her life by applying herself in school. She was appointed captain of the school’s cheerleading squad, earned a 4.0 grade point average, and was voted prom queen. She also secured a full scholarship to Potomac State College of West University University that begins in August. The student managed this despite working for 25 hours a week in an ice cream store. “Quite frankly, I’m just ready to go and live life. I know there’s a better life out there for me. It gets better. If you work hard enough, if you have that drive, if you have that motivation, it gets a lot better. I just time managed. I just wake up and do what I gotta do.” NICE! Congrats to this young girl.
