The former RHOA star who’s due around Thanksgiving shared pictures of her swollen feet after partying at Cynthia Bailey’s Seagrams Gin bash. According to Kenya she gained nearly 20 pounds in a week and might have preeclampsia, excessive swelling, and high blood pressure. “I made fun of my swollen feet at @cynthiabailey10 party. Next day my tests came back for possible preeclampsia… I gained 17 lbs in ONE week due to severe swelling and water retention, high blood pressure, and excess protein in urine. This is NOT normal! I took more tests. Baby is fine but if they come back higher #babydaly will have to come same day.” We hope Kenya’s okay, preeclampsia symptoms include severe headaches, nausea, impaired liver function and upper abdominal pain. She also previously shared that she now weighs 200-pounds. Feel better Kenya!
Kailyn Lowry continues to confound her Instagram followers. The famous Teen Mom 2 star has said many times of late that she's single, yet one would be forgiven for thinking the opposite. She keeps mentioning Chris Lopez. She keeps sharing photos of Chris Lopez. She has even now included one of Chris Lopez and the ex-couple's son, Lux. What might this mean? 90 Day Fiance star Paola Mayfield is pregnant with her first child . She and Russ are overjoyed. Some of her more hateful followers have tried to body-shame her over her pregnancy, demanding that she cover up her baby bump. Pao is hitting back with a photo of her wearing nothing at all — except rose petals. Paola shared this stunning photo of her very naked, very pregnant body in a rose petal bath. In the captions, she made it clear that this is how she has chosen to clap back at her body-shamers. “People have asked me if I‘m ever going to wear more clothes,” Pao’s caption begins. She continues: “my answer is… do rose petals count?” Paola remains an absolute delight, just as she was when she wrecked the shamers who told her to stop exercising . Paola has kept her fans updated on her pregnancy and her baby bump all along. Her caption continues with a recommendation that others try a bath like hers. “You too could benefit from this home spa,” Paola suggests. She adds that her bath is “with rose petals, coconut milk, and sea salt bath.” So, you might need a shower after such a bath if you really want to get clean. Paola says that the bath is “perfect to keep my skin soft and my muscles relaxed.” In case anyone had any doubts about who had taken the picture, she gives credit where credit is due. “Thank you baby for my photo @russ_mayfield,” Paola writes. In case it was not obvious, the photographer she tagged was none other than her husband, Russ Mayfield. His name’s right there. Paola then tagged her post: “#momtobe #homespa #proudofmypregnantbody #90dayfiance #babybump” She’s a fitness model and she’s proud of her body. Paola is in no hurry to cover up her curves, even if one of them is just a baby bump. Naturally, Paola’s body-shamers weren’t done trying to scold her into hiding her body. “Eeeeww,” exclaimed a super mature critic. “Still seeking attention in most unflattering ways….” “Save this type of photograph for your husband,” demanded another. “And only your husband. Nothing worse than a thirsty pregnant woman. I really want to like you.” Really? In all of the things in the world, there’s nothing worse than a pregnant woman who’s unashamed of her body? “Why the need to seek so much attention?” wrote another. “If you really were secure & didnt give a rats f–k you wouldn’t have to seek attention being half naked…just sayin.” She’s a fitness model, she cares about keeping her fans updated, and she’s a reality star. But Paola also has her genuine fans. “I don’t think anything is wrong with you being naked and pregnant,” wrote one defender. That person continued: “Those who are asking about you wearing clothes are probably jealous.” “Who cares about clothes?” asked another. “Motherhood is beautiful and so are you!” Another wasn’t technically a critic, but offered a very different sort of positive feedback: “Those tatas are getting huge!! I love it!!” Charming. “Wow !!! I guess Russ has really lightened up,” commented another. “Before he would have made a big fuss about you being in such a photo,” that person noted. “Now he not only allows it but hes the one taking the photo !!!” Yes, it looks like Russ has gotten past at least some of his weird hangups about Paola’s job. “Omg! As you very likely know by now, Meghan Markle is getting set to welcome a new member of her family. Indeed, the Duchess of Sussex is pregnant ! Unfortunately, Markle’s expecting state does not mean she is finished dealing with old members of her family. In fact, she’ll likely be stuck hearing from them even more over the next few months as they angle to meet their future young relative. We’re talking, of course, about Thomas Markle and Samantha Markle. The former is Meghan’s father, from whom she is mostly estranged and who lives in Mexico. Thomas missed his daughter’s wedding in May due to a heart condition and his involvement in a paparazzi photo scandal and has since ratcheted up his criticism of Meghan , saying she is ungrateful for his influence in her life and complaining (already) that he will never meet his grandchild. The guy sucks. Samantha Markle, meanwhile, is Meghan’s half-sister and she is totally estranged from Meghan. She is 17 years older than the Duchess; was not raised in the same household as her partial sibling; and barely knows Meghan at all. But she has still jumped on every media platform available over the past several months to bash the heck out of Markle every chance she gets. This woman really sucks. In light of Meghan and Harry’s major pregnancy news, however, both Thomas and Samantha has struck a more calm and rational tone. “It just makes everything that happened over the last year disappear,” Samantha said to The Sun this week of the baby bombshell, adding: “I want Meghan to be happy… and have peace. Everybody needs to be positive.” Naturally, of course, Samantha did manage to get a dig at her half-sister in there as well. “I would hope that – for the sake of the baby, the family, the world and my dad — that leaving him out of the statement was not intentional,” she continued. “I hope my dad is included and at a proper time. If he is excluded, I won’t be happy. It is in the best interests of the baby for my dad to be included.” The statement announcing Markle’s pregnancy was short and simple and didn’t mention any relatives at all. It simply read as follows: Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019. Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public. In conclusion, Samantha really hammered home the point of how the unnamed child ought to have its grandfather in its life: “A baby changes everything and softens everyone. I would only hope that there would be some adjustment or some way of including him.” Thomas himself has not yet issued a comment. But a source close to the grandparent-to-be also spoke to The Sun and praised Meghan while simultaneously angling to, yes, be part of the kid’s life. “Thomas is absolutely delighted,” this insider says, adding: “He heard the news before it was made public and was overjoyed. He thinks Meghan will make a great mum as she is already so maternal. In April, Mercedes “MJ” Javid and longtime boyfriend Tommy Feight were married after years of ups and downs. Now, this Shahs of Sunset couple has even bigger news. They’re expecting their first child! Us Weekly reports that Shahs of Sunset star Mercedes Javid is pregnant ! She and her husband, Tommy Feight, are expecting their first child together. According to the tabloid’s source, the couple first told Mercedes’ mother. They then told the rest of the cast of Shahs of Sunset on Thursday, October 4 while filming the reunion special. This is amazing news! Mercedes has previously spoken about in-vitro fertilization and the sensibility of freezing one’s eggs. “I really want all women who are single and 35 years old to run to their fertility doctors and get it done,” she suggests. This is, of course, only directed at those who want to have children. “I just think it’s really awful to wait and put it off until you’re over 40,” she confesses. Mercedes says that she feels this way “because you’re just increasing your odds and you’re just making it harder for yourself.” “And don’t worry about the costs,” she says, possibly forgetting that not everyone is rich. Earlier this summer, she had “almost completed the [IVF] progress,” sources said. “it is a lot of hormones that can make us feel crazy,” she admits, referring to the hormone injections one receives prior to getting eggs harvested. “The truth is that I have a lot of ups and downs,” she confesses. “Moment to moment, especially on the hormones from IVF stuff.” “You retain a lot of water,” she cautions those who would heed her advice and walk in her footsteps. “You feel really great one moment and then terrible another moment,” she adds. Yep. Hormones can make a person go a little nuts for a while. “That’s the reason why I share because,” Mercedes begins. She says: “In my Instagram Stories for instance, I’ll say, ‘I don’t feel good today, but I want everyone else to know not to beat themselves up, to be kind to yourself and know that those days happen to everyone.’” “That’s how we connect to people,” Mercedes explains. It always feels good to help others by using your own experiences. “If you’re going through something and you and I share that,” she reasons. “[That’s] how much we just closed the gap between the two of us.” Mercedes Javid and Tommy Feight have had, as we mentioned, some ups and downs during the course of their tumultuous relationship. So some may be nervous about these two stars in particular being responsible for a new, tiny, helpless human being. But it is the hope of fans that the fact that they decided to finally tie the knot is a sign that they had worked out previous issues and are a happier, healthier couple. This is amazing news. We’re just sorry that her late father isn’t around to meet this granchild. We can’t wait to watch Shahs of Sunset online and, hopefully, see MJ’s co-stars react to her huge news.
Though she’s happily being a mother to baby True, Khloe is terrified that Tristan will cheat again . But Tristan has allegedly resolved to never cheat on her again. It’s a little late for that. And apparently we’re supposed to applaud or even pity him for resisting so much “temptation.” A source close to Tristan Thompson tells HollywoodLife that he’s really, really trying to not cheat on Khloe yet again. “Tristan knows he can’t f–k up again,” the insider says bluntly. “And that if he does,” the source continues. “Khloe will kick him to the curb.” “So he’s focusing all his energy on basketball,” the insider says. “And,” the source says, Tristan is focused “on playing his best season yet.” We’re meant to believe that not cheating takes a great deal of effort on Tristan’s part. “Tristan is constantly surrounded by temptation,” the insider claims, as if Tristan is on a strict diet instead of just being asked to remain faithful. “Hot chicks literally throw themselves at him,” the source declares. He’s young and hot and he’s a famous athlete, so that’s no surprise. The insider says that these women want him “and are constantly flirting with him and vying for his attention.” Sex is great! But since Tristan chose to enter a monogamous relationship, it is absolutely impossible to pity him over this “predicament.” “Tristan is doing his utmost to ignore it all, though,” the source says. “And,” the insider continues, Tristan is trying “to focus on what matters most.” To make things absolutely clear, what matters most is not banging every available beauty who walks by. The source clarifies that Tristan’s priorities are: “Khloe, his kids, and his career.” “It ain’t easy,” the insider claims. Again, no one is asking him to remain chaste. Just to be monogamous. “Tristan is young,” the source writes. “He’s in his prime.” “And,” the insider explains. “All the attention he gets is enough to tempt anyone.” Right … but he’s the one who signed up to date Khloe. There are plenty of other women who’d be happy to date him in an open relationship. “But after being caught out before and nearly losing everything he holds dearest,” the source says. “He’s determined to be better.” So it sounds like he at least learned his lesson … even if it’s a lesson that he should never have needed to learn. The insider says that Tristan has resolved “to be the man he knows he can be.” “And,” specifically, the source says that he has decided |to be faithful and loyal to Khloe.” Usually, that’s a determination that someone makes, um, before they have a baby with their girlfriend. The inside source affirms that Khloe remains a priority for Tristan. “She’s his heart and soul,” the insider emphasizes. That doesn’t explain why he decided to cheat on her repeatedly during her pregnancy. “And,” the source says. “He never wants to hurt or humiliate her ever again.” Well, we should certainly hope not. Life & Style reports that Khloe is lovestruck , but that the rest of her family is much more wary of her continued romance with Tristan. “Khloe just can’t let this relationship go,” that insider laments. “All the Kardashians are against her having another baby,” that source shares grimly. “But she won’t listen to any of them.” That insider shares that “She’s blinded by love when it comes to Tristan.” That seems to be something that runs in the family. Just look at how ardently Kim defends Kanye over the indefensible. There are a lot of people who aren’t well-suited to monogamous relationships. Some are aromantic, others simply have too much love to give. That’s fine! In fact, relationships featuring multiple people or mutually open relationships can be great. But that is not what Tristan has chosen for himself. He is dating Khloe. He doesn’t get a gold star for not cheating anymore. That’s just a simple expectation. When the superstar rapper joked about her Philly ex on “Barbie Dreams” it seemed like there were no hard feelings between the two—but maybe that’s not entirely true. This week, Minaj announced an upcoming documentary titled Queen and in the trailer that was posted, she details the abuse between her parents, sharing that she later found herself in the same kind of situation with her own boyfriend. Minaj has been linked to a few men and didn’t name her abuser , so fans have no way to pinpoint who she might’ve been referring to. Hours after the trailer was posted and went viral on social media, Meek Mill hit Instagram with a message about narcissists that seemed to take aim at his ex. “When cornered, they’ll lash out by claiming that THEY are the real victim,” it read. “Their story will detail your drinking problem, depression, jealousy, low self-esteem, financial woes, etc., thereby gaining the sympathy of their fan club. Source: FOX / Getty It’s clear that this season of Empire is going to tease us about the mysterious person in the casket until the very end, and we just have to deal. We start tonight’s episode with Lucious at that funeral staring at the casket. Becky joins him, grabs his hand, and says, “You couldn’t have known.” Couldn’t have known about what? Didn’t Cookie have a heart attack last season? Lordt. Anyway, we flashback 6 months before that again. Cookie and Lucious have been working well with Treasure and have what they know will be a hit single. However, they’re starting from scratch and discover that radio stations are regarding them as has-beens and are therefore playing hardball. Basically, the stations what Lucious to put his business on blast during interviews with their personalities–particularly addressing the rumors about Cookie and Lucious being broke. Lucious doesn’t want to go there at first but starts to realize that he may have to as things are different now. Giselle thinks she’s going to be the new CEO of Empire but gets a rude awakening when Patel announces that it’s actually going to be Jeff Kingsly. That’s the man that we saw Giselle sleeping with last week. He’s thrilled but she’s tight. Sitting there looking like: Obviously, Giselle is pissed and we all know she’ll be plotting because it’s what she does. Dre is still in the bing, having a hard time keeping out of trouble just before he’s about to be released. People, including some of the guards, are looking out for him, but there’s a bully inmate that Dre is itching to put the paws on so we all know this will come back up eventually. Lucious finds his way to another radio station and offers to give them an exclusive interview about the meaning behind his classic song, “A Child is Born,” something he has never talked about. So, of course, these thirsty reporters jump at the scoop! The deal gets done and once they get their interview, they play Treasure’s song and issa hit. But don’t get too excited because Giselle ends up stealing Treasure away from them. Yup, Treasure is disloyal trash and decides to sign with Empire because they have the better deal. Plus, she’s not about that recording in the living room life. Lucious and Cookie threaten to sue Treasure, because they did sign a contract, but then Giselle points out that they don’t have the money to battle Empire in court and they’re still trying to keep their money woes on the low. Next, Kingsly meets up with Lucious and Cookie and apologizes for the Treasure situation because Giselle acted on her own with that one. He says he respects them and thinks Eddie Barker messed up when he cut them out. He wants to take Empire back to its roots but needs them on board, so he offers them chairman and chairwoman positions. Basically, they’ll get money to show up to events here and there and add cosigns to music. It’s shallow, but at least there will be money involved. Lucious and Cookie have no reason to trust him so they’re still skeptical but they’ll think about it. Hopefully, they at least figure out how to get stake back in their company! But what ends up happening is, a drunken Hakeem has a public meltdown in Empire’s lobby and ends up at his parent’s house, downtrodden because he can’t rap due to his injured lung. Cookie and Lucious counseling him but they’re worried. This prompts Cookie to convince Lucious to take the Kingsly deal. Hakeem and Jamal don’t like the idea of this but they’ll support their parents anyway. Now we fast forward to their Welcome Home party in the Empire Records lobby. This is where Kingsly finally takes his mask off. There’s a moment when he makes small talk with Lucious, who is visibly not thrilled that any of this is happening, and he still doesn’t trust Kingsly. He’s also not feeling Kingsly condescending way of seeming like he’s doing some sort of charity. Kingsly is aware of this and gets pissed that Lucious isn’t being grateful so he tells Lucious that he and Cookie better step and fetch it on the microphone when they make the announcement about the deal, with big smiles on their faces. If they don’t then take the offer on his terms then he’s going to tell the world that they’re broke. Now let’s cut to Kingsly making a show of bringing Lucious on stage. Lucious gets on stage and invites Cookie and his sons up to the stage. Then he takes control of his narrative! He reveals that the rumors about them being broke are true and rips the new Empire to shreds. He goes all the way left when he says that Empire isn’t the place for the Lyons anymore because the new owner and CEO’s are really just techies who are about the dollar, not the artists, and know nothing about the music. He caps his speech by inviting all the real ones to join them with their brand new management and production company who will put artists first. Kingsly is pissed. No really, Kingsly tells Lucious that he’s making a huge mistake, but there’s an ominous tone in his words. He’s standing there looking like: And we end the episode at the funeral again. Thirsty comes in and asks who Lucious wants to ride with in the limo. He says he’s riding alone and then the FBI comes in because they want to talk to Lucious. So yeah, we’re just going to have to ride this mysterious death the entire way through. Back in June, MTV gave the green light for more episodes of Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant . Now, the reality series is just weeks away from returning for Season 1b — and we already have a promo video. Pregnancy was only the prologue for these teens. Their struggles have only bgun. “Last season, five moms-to-be literally mommed up,” the narrator says, making a slightly awkward play on words. Like we mentioned, the new episodes are just weeks away. The voiceover continues: “Now, on Monday, October 15, Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant is back.” “The babies have arrived,” the voice declares. Then we get a tease of the challenges to come. “But,” the voiceover asks. “How did these moms handle what comes next?” Obviously, some of these young mothers will handle things better than others. That's how life works — and that's what draws viewers to the show. The voiceover repeats: ” Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant returns with all new episodes on Monday, October 15 on MTV.” They really don't want people to miss the premiere date, folks. The returning stars are Lexi Tatman, Ashley Jones, Jade Cline, Kayla Sessler, and Brianna Jaramillo. Obviously, since they're moms now, we'll also see their babies again: Tobias, Holly, Kloie, Izaiah, and Braeson. Viewers expect to see a number of things this season, as Starcasm predicts. For one thing, Kayla finally breaking up with Stephan. Will Jade and Sean confirm that they're back together, as rumor suggests, or will viewers instead see confirmation that they're over? Then there's Lexi and Kyler trying their best to make this work and of course Brianna gettled settled in Oregon. And then there's Ashley, easily one of the most memorable and controversial figures we've seen on Teen Mom . Remember that video of her slapping herself beofre accusing Bar of being violent towards her? Her encounters with Bar's mother, Shen, eventually drove Shen to quit the series … again. Ashley joined the ever-growing ranks of reality stars who have feuded with Briana DeJesus even though they're not even on the same show (and yes, it was over Javi Marroquin). She also declared on Twitter that people should do their own research into whether the Earth is flat — because she believes that the government and textbooks have warped people's minds. Ashley tried to roast people, saying that they thought she was a “dumb b–ch” for her statement. But … nobody's disputing her self-characterization, there. Speaking of Ashley, Bar's life has only been somewhat less dramatic. He got arrested again. Then there's the appeal for his brother Troy's murder conviction. Bar's foster sister was shot. On a lighter (and, joking aside, considerably less upsetting) note, Bar released his new rap song. We do not know if, uh, that will be featured on Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant . But we'll all find out together in less than three weeks.
