January’s not even over yet, but it looks like First Daughter Malia Obama has already won Photo Bomb of the Year 2013 after this awesome effort Monday. Malia Obama Photo Bomb As sister Sasha Obama attempted to take an iPhone photo of her parents smooching on Inauguration Day, Malia impishly inserted herself into the shot. The slightly curious / mildly irritated look from President Barack Obama – who appears to be holding an iPhone himself – is pretty priceless at the end. All in all, a good day for the First Family. The antics of Malia, 14, and Sasha, 11, were viral sensations, while Barack was sworn in for another four years. Honorable mention: This Bill Clinton photo bomb of Kelly Clarkson.

President Obama’s inaugural address took place just hours ago, but V.P. Joe Biden is already hinting that he wants to replace his boss. In 2016, that is. At a gathering of influential Iowans Saturday, the gaffe-prone Veep said, “I’m proud to be the president of the United States.” Joe Biden: Proud to Be President! Biden, who unsuccessfully sought the presidency in 1988 and 2008, will be 73 in 2016, making him the oldest person ever elected president. There’s also the matter of Hillary Clinton, Obama’s outgoing Secretary of State and the odds-on favorite for the Democratic nomination … if she runs. Clinton would be 69 and the second-oldest president elected (after Ronald Reagan), incidentally. Whether either actually runs is anyone’s guess. Still, here are other recent hints that Biden is thinking about it: 1. New Hampshire is influential. Among the 120 guests Biden invited to his swearing-in for a second term? New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan. 2. So is Iowa. It was at the Iowa State Society inauguration ball where he mistakenly said, “I’m proud to be president of the United States.” 3. On Election Day in November, Biden dismissed the notion that would be the last time he’d vote for himself. “No, I don’t think so,” he said. 4. Campaigning in October, Biden joked to a voter that, “after its all over, when your insurance rates go down, then you’ll vote for me in 2016.” 5. “There’s plenty of time to think about 2016,” he said last summer. “If three years from now the economy is not working, it’s not going to be worth doing much.” Or if could’ve just been a mistake when he made the above quote. When introducing V.P. candidate Paul Ryan last summer, Mitt Romney referred to him as “the next President of the United States” … which he still could be. What do you think? Would/should Joe Biden run in 2016?
Note to all fans of Saved by the Bell : you may soon need a new pair of pants. Tiffani Thiessen – who also starred on Beverly Hills 90210 and currently plays a role on White Collar , but who will remain Kelly Kapowski forever in the eyes of many – poses below for Me In My Place and looks rather attractive while doing so. Click around now and try to avoid saturating your keyboard with saliva… Was there pressure on Thiessen during her Saved by the Bell days? To remain slim, avoid any Creamy Fettuccine Alfredo Recipe and act like a sex symbol? “I think any time you are on a hit show as a young actor or actress, you feel that way,” she says. “I was not the girl that was a size 2 and didn’t work for it. I was never the waify model type.” That’s okay. It’s clearly worked for Tiffani… and then some!
Sasha Obama let out a big yawn during her father’s inaugural address today, making for a moment she will never, ever live down at home. Kids will be kids. Sasha Obama Yawn During one pause by President Barack Obama, cameras cut to Sasha, sister Malia, and mother Michelle Obama ; Sasha yawned for the whole U.S. to see. One can sympathize with Sash. She’d been to church, attended Katy Perry’s inauguration performance and witnessed a swearing-in ceremony in 24 hours. She’s also 11, and the speech – while stirring in rhetoric, moving in its evocation of American greatness, and inspiring in its grandeur – was a tad boring. Sorry Barack.
