Hi Hater: Rock N’ Roll Azzhole Ted Nugent Says President Obama: “Represents Everything Bad About Humanity”

Ted Nugent? Speaking in hyperbole?? NEVER…smh Musician Ted Nugent Continues To Make Negative Remarks About President Obama Musician Ted Nugent has added a fresh chord to his harmony of negative comments against President Barack Obama. In an interview with the New Times Broward-Palm Beach, Nugent was asked what rock bands would represent Obama and presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney. “Out and out politicians are anathema to rock-n-roll, so I hesitate to attempt to connect the two,” he replied. “But on important issues, I am saddened to admit that Obama represents everything bad about humanity and Romney pretty much all that is good. It is really that stark.” Nugent’s disdain for Obama entered the public sphere in mid-April. At a National Rifle Association convention in St. Louis, he blasted the president’s administration as “vile,” “evil” and “America-hating.” “If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year,” Nugent added. Those comments raised the eyebrows of law enforcement officials, prompting the U.S. Secret Service to investigate his remarks. Both sides convened, with Nugent describing the meeting as a “good, solid, professional, gathering.” “The Secret Service interview of Ted Nugent has been completed,” agency spokesman Brian Leary told Reuters on April 20. “The issue has been resolved. The Secret Service does not anticipate any further action.” Seriously bruh, it’s one thing to disagree with the man, but “everything bad about humanity” is taking it a bit far, no? Did Obama slap yo’ grandmama or something??? Cotdamn… Source

Ryan Lochte Inspires "Call Me Maybe" Parody

Ryan Lochte has officially made it. Not because this 28-year old American defeated Michael Phelps yesterday in the 400 Individual Medley, but because he’s the subject of a new “Call Me Maybe” parody, which focuses on the rivalry between these two Olympic swimmers and whose lyrics include: Strange pecs, taking bong hits/Stay smooth, shave your armpits/Where you think you’re swimming, Mikey? Hey, I’m not Michael, don’t eat at Subway/But this is my year, so call me Lochte/It’s hard to swim right, by Phelps baby/But this is my year, so call me Lochte.

Russell Brand on Sarah Palin Relevancy: All About the Vagina!

She didn’t even last one term as Governor of Alaska. She failed in her bid to become Vice President of the United States. At this point, she’s merely a Fox News contributor and the mother of a reality TV star . So why does Sarah Palin remain so newsworthy? Russell Brand has a theory. “The reason that Sarah Palin has been so long tolerated is that latent inquisition around her vagina,” Brand laughed yesterday during a Q&A session at the Television Critics Association press tour. “People want to f-ck her, don’t they? That’s why they tolerate the other stuff… The dick don’t lie!” The comedian, whose Brand X talk show has been picked up by FX for seven more episodes, was also asked about the recent Chick-fil-A controversy . “Didn’t Chick-fil-A say that they’re racists now? Oh no, homophobic. I get mixed up with the prejudices. I forget who I’m supposed to hate.” We’re gonna assume that many Republicans, following Brand’s take on Palin, won’t be as confused. They likely know where to direct their hatred at the moment. [Photos: WENN.com]

Lupe Fiasco Says President Obama “Kills Little Children” [Listen]

Throughout his rap career Lupe Fiasco has been known to go through one identity crisis after another. In his pre-Food & Liquor days he was more interested in doing his impression of a “gangsta rapper” (look it up if you don’t believe us), then he went to “backpack rap,” and now that he’s growing his hair out, it appears that his latest mask is that of a part-time revolutionary, who also likes to DJ, and has tons of criticism for President Obama. Head Of Chik-Fil-A Public Relations Dies Of Heart Attack! Was The Stress Over Their Stance On Gay Matrimony-dom Too Much For Him???

Chik-fil-A Public Relations VP Dies Of Heart Attack Amid Controversy Over Founders Stance Against Gay Marriage In the midst of a firestorm of controversy over the company founder’s stance on gay marriage , a publicity exec at Chik-Fil-A has died of a heart attack! The death of a prominent Chick-fil-A executive has sparked an onslaught of Twitter responses, with many linking the official’s passing to the fast food company’s recent controversies. Columbus Georgia’s WRBL News 3 reported that Donald A. Perry, the vice president of corporate public relations for Chick-fil-A, died of a heart attack July 27. “Don was a member of our Chick-fil-A family for nearly 29 years,” a company statement published in the Atlanta Journal Constitution read. “He was a well-respected and well-liked media executive in the Atlanta and University of Georgia communities, and we will all miss him.” News of Perry’s death, which was picked up by a number of high-profile media outlets, immediately generated heated debate on Twitter, perhaps not surprisingly given Chick-fil-A’s proclaimed anti-gay marriage stance, which has been the subject of countless headlines in recent weeks. “Okay, Chick-fil-A protesters, you win,” wrote one user. “You killed their head of PR. They’re for gay marriage now.” No doubt Perry was aware of what has become a public relations debacle for the Atlanta-based fast food chain, with both marriage equality supporters and opponents responding to the news in equal measure. In fact, he is credited at having released the company’s Facebook statement in response to Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy’s remark that the fast food company supports “the biblical definition of the family unit.” On July 19, Perry responded that “going forward, our intent is to leave the policy debate over same-sex marriage to the government and political arena.” Poor guy. We’re not gonna go so far as to say that gays killed Don Perry but it seems pretty likely that all this drama did him in early. R.I.P. Check out a couple of the tweets on the subject below: Source

THG Asks: Should Kristen Stewart Have Issued a Public Apology?

Welcome to THG Asks, a feature in which our two celebrity gossip experts debate a topical issue in the entertainment world and readers decide on which side they fall. Today, we turn our focus not just to Kristen Stewart and her shocking affair with Rupert Sanders , but to her unusual decision to issue a public apology regarding her actions. We ponder both arguments and then THG Asks: Should the actress have taken this step? ——————————————- NO. By Free Britney Kristen Stewart owes the public one thing and one thing only: the best performance she can give on screen. She’s an actress. She didn’t cause any personal or emotional harm to a single fan out there and, no offense, but if she did… that’s your fault, not hers. Kristen owes Robert Pattinson an apology. She owes Liberty Ross , the wife of Sanders, an apology. She owes the director’s two kids an apology. These were people actually affected by her lapse in judgment. But what Stewart does in the privacy of her own home – or in the front seat of a car , apparently – is between Stewart, the person she is doing it with and those connected to either or both. When it comes someone such as Kristen, who has clearly never craved fame, I choose to judge her solely on her acting chops and don’t expect her to meet any sort of ethical standard in her personal life. And I certainly don’t need her to apologize to me when she fails to do so. YES. By Hilton Hater Hi, Free Britney. Welcome to 2012. Your argument may have made sense a couple decades ago, prior to tabloids and the paparazzi and the Internet and the blurring of lines between the public, the private and the professional. But this isn’t a debate over how thing should be. It’s a debate over how things are . And this is how they are in this age, especially for a star such as Stewart and a franchise such as The Twilight Saga: the movies are sold as much on Kristen and Rob’s relationship as they are on vampires, werewolves and half-human babies. It’s very easy to argue that Stewart’s dalliance with Sanders will cost the studio millions, considering fans who simply won’t be able to stand her on screen any longer. Yes, Twihards take their Robsten very seriously and, whether Stewart wanted to play that game or not, she profited significantly from it. The investment of others in her relationship with Pattinson shot this actress on to the A-list. And she knew that. She may have disdained the spotlight, but she was aware that countless fans were staring at her in it and expecting her – at the very least – not to cheat with a married man nearly twice her age. I mean, seriously. Are we really at the point where we’re second guessing an apology? Isn’t that what we ask for from those who make a mistake? Your turn, readers. What do YOU think? Should Kristen Stewart have issued a public apology for cheating on Robert Pattinson?

Chick-fil-A Opening in California Draws Protest by Gay Marriage Supporters

Unlike the cities of Boston and Chicago, Laguna Hills did not place a ban on the opening of Chick-fil-A in its area. But perhaps it now wishes it had. A new store in that town was greeted this morning by protestors from the Orange County Gay and Lesbian Community Services Center, holding signs and calling for boycotts of the chain whose President has come out against gay marriage. Aside from simply saying his company was “guilty as charged” when it came to supporting the “biblical definition of marriage,” Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy has donated millions to the Marriage & Family Foundation and the Family Research Council. The issue first came to attention when Ed Helms Tweeted his reaction to that news and said Chick-fil-A had lost him as a customer. The The Jim Henson Company has also severed ties with the store, who tried to stem the tide of public disdain by releasing a statement that read: “Going forward, our intent is to leave the policy debate over same-sex marriage to the government and political arena.” So far, as today demonstrated, it has not worked.

Academy Sets New Rules for 85th Academy Awards

The rules are out and email has been hit. The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences have restricted the amount of email that can be sent to its members, limiting it to “only one piece of mail and one email per film company” each week. There are also increased restrictions on third parties distributing materials and the number of screenings Academy members can be invited to (mostly without food or drink). The Academy’s release detailing its updated policies follows: The Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has updated regulations for how companies and individuals may market movies and achievements eligible for the 85th Academy Awards® to Academy members. The changes pertain to screenings that feature live filmmaker participation, the formats on which members may receive screeners, and limitations on how mail, email and websites may be used in campaigning.

“These rules help us maintain a level playing field for all of the nominees and protect the integrity of the Awards process,” said Academy President Tom Sherak.

After the announcement of nominations on January 15, 2013, and until the final polls close (February 19, 2013), Academy members may be invited to up to four screenings of a nominated film that are preceded or followed by filmmaker Q&As or other such participation. A fifth such event in the United Kingdom will be permitted.  All participants must be nominated or have been eligible for nomination.  No screening event may include a reception or otherwise offer complimentary food or beverages. These limitations do not apply to screenings held by the Academy, guilds or similar organizations.

The regulations also now stipulate that members may receive the film both on DVD and as a digital download.

Additionally, each week, members may be sent only one piece of mail and one email per film company.  The rules maintain the prohibition on sending members links to websites that promote a film using audio, video, or other multimedia elements, but may include links to the videos in the “Academy Conversations” series on Oscars.org.

The Academy has augmented its existing ban on film companies using third parties to distribute materials that they would be prohibited from sending directly. The regulation now specifies that film companies may not have a publication use its subscriber lists to send stand alone materials to members, except in connection with the distribution of the publication itself.  This amendment does not affect a company’s ability to place their usual promotional materials in trade publications.

Similarly, while guilds and other awards organizations may hold non-screening events after the nominations announcement, this rule now specifies that film companies may not use such occasions as opportunities to sponsor promotional events that would otherwise violate Academy regulations.

To read the complete Regulations Concerning the Promotion of Films Eligible for the 85th Academy Awards, go to http://www.oscars.org/awards/academyawards/rules/regulations.html.

The 85th Academy Awards will be held at the Dolby Theatre™ at Hollywood & Highland Center® in Hollywood, and will be televised live by the ABC Television Network.

Fair And Balanced: Fox News Uses 4-Year-Old Girls As PawnsTo Take Shots At President Obama Over Misconstrued Comments

“Fox love the kids…” Fox News Show Uses Little Girls To Fuel Beef With President Obama Fox News may have just reached an all-time low … “Fox and Friends” still has beef with President Obama’s comments about small businesses. On Tuesday, the show turned to the ultimate source to prove its point: two little girls who run a lemonade stand. Earlier this month, Obama said that businesses needed infrastructure investment to succeed. “If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that, somebody else made that happen,” he said. Mitt Romney took the line out of context, and used it to attack the president for being anti-business. On Tuesday, “Fox and Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade turned to four-year old Eliza and seven-year old Clara Sutton to ask if they had government help when they founded their lemonade stand. “Who helped you start this business?” Kilmeade wanted to know. Later, he asked, “Clara, how do you feel about the President saying that you needed help to start this business? And just speak from, speak from within.” When Eliza yawned, he turned to Clara. “I would say that’s rude because we worked very hard to build this business,” she replied. “But we did have help.” “And your help came from?” “Our help came from our investors, our dad and stepmom, along with other friends and family.” Smh….these guys know NO limits.
