Scout Schultz, an intersex person and the President of the Pride Alliance student group, was shot in the heart Saturday night in full view of students in their dorms. Video has surfaced of the incident and it shows Schultz, 21, in a parking lot telling the police to “shoot them.” Investigators report that they were called after a “person with a knife and a gun” was reportedly spotted on campus. In the video, Schultz is not seen holding a gun but there are reports that they had a pocket knife with the blade tucked in. There were reportedly four officers surrounding Schultz during the incident and they insisted that they dropped the knife. “Come on man, let’s drop the knife,” an officer is heard saying. “Nobody wants to hurt you, man.” Schultz was shot after they started advancing towards police. Schultz’ mother Lynne Schultz recently spoke with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and asked why officers didn’t use non-lethal force. “Why didn’t they use some nonlethal force, like pepper spray or Tasers?” said Lynne. GA Tech officials have since confirmed that their officers don’t carry stun guns. Lynne Schultz also told the AJC that Scout suffered from depression and had attempted suicide two years ago. She and several of Scout’s classmates are now looking for answers. This case is so crazy and we’re sure there are SEVERAL more developments to come. We’ll keep you posted as they become available.

In case you decided to take up residence in a Unabomber shack in the woods around the time a presidential candidate started talking about his dong during a televised debate and you’re just now re-entering society, allow us to bring you up to speed: Donald Trump is now our president, despite running a campaign marred by multiple genital-related scandals . Despite the fact that he won, Trump clearly still awakes with the election at the forefront of his mind every morning, presumably staring dead-eyed at the ceiling fan over his bed, a la Martin Sheen in Apocalypse Now . Hillary Clinton is also still obsessed with the most bonkers presidential election in American history, but she’s decided to seek catharsis by writing a book in which she blames everyone else for her loss. Ya know, like an adult! (Hey, petty adults who are more concerned with settling old scores than with the future of the country are still adults.) The Donald, on the other hand … well, he’s decided to handle things quite differently. Yes, 71-year-old Donald Trump was so tickled by the thought of him pelting a former first lady, senator, and secretary of state with a golf ball that he felt compelled to share @fuctupmind’s handiwork with the world. It’s easy to get bored when you’re in your bathrobe by 6 pm every evening, but surely a man with a pretty important gig can find better ways of keeping himself busy. Obviously, there were millions of stunned reactions on social media, but the consensus is perhaps best encapsulated by this tweet from former director of US Office of Government Ethics Walter Schaub: “The President of the United States just retweeted a video vignette that imagines him assaulting his political rival. The man is unfit,” Schaub wrote. It’s the truth, folks. No matter where your beliefs fall on the political spectrum, it’s time to admit that Donald Trump is unfit. HBCU Leaders To Meet With Trump Again

A lthough an upcoming White House summit where President Donald Trump will meet with the leaders of historically Black colleges and universities has drawn a lot of criticism, several HBCU leaders say that they are committed to moving forward with the meeting, reports USA Today . Kimbrough (@HipHopPrez) September 16, 2017 While some HBCU presidents have made the decision to pull out of the event—which is slated to take place on Monday—those who still plan on attending believe that it’s crucial to meet with the president so that they can voice their concerns, the news outlet writes. “It’s important that we be at the table,” David Beckley , president of Rust College, told USA Today. “We have to be there to express our concerns. I’m willing to try again. I’m not sure how many more times I’ll go — based on results of this trip.” But will a seat at the table guarantee that their concerns will be addressed? In February, President Trump met with a collective of HBCU presidents to discuss the financial needs of Black institutions and an executive order which moved the HBCU initiative from the Department of Education to the White House. Following the meeting, then-Morehouse president, John Wilson Jr. shared that the exchange was “troubling.” Not to mention, the attention was diverted from their concerns to a viral photo of Kellyanne Conway sitting awkwardly during the meeting. In a piece featured on Medium , Dillard University President Dr. Walter Kimbrough shared that the meeting turned out to be a photo-op for the president. “There was very little listening to HBCU presidents today- we were only given about 2 minutes each, and that was cut to one minute, so only about 7 of maybe 15 or so speakers were given an opportunity today,” he wrote. Since that meeting went awry, things have gone downhill between Trump’s administration and HBCUs. Around the same time that the meeting took place, U.S. Education Secretary Betsy DeVos came under fire for making uninformed, ignorant remarks about HBCUs being “pioneers of school choice.” In May, while signing a government spending bill , Trump implied that federal financing for historically Black colleges and universities was unconstitutional. According to NPR , this week Tim Scott —the only Black Republican in the Senate—sat down with Trump to discuss his failure to condemn White supremacists during the Charlottesville chaos. Kid Rock encouraged his fans to “call me a racist” in part because he disagrees with Colin Kaepernick ‘s protest of the American flag and doesn’t like being reminded that “ black lives matter ,” he told the crowd at his concert in Michigan on Wednesday night. “And if you wanna take a knee or sit during our ‘Star-Spangled Banner,’ call me a racist ’cause I’m not [politically correct], and think you have to remind me that black lives matter,” the Donald Trump -supporter and potential Republican Senate candidate said in Grand Rapids, according to People . “Nazis, f–kin’ bigots, and now again the KKK — I say screw all you a–holes. Stay the f–k away!” The Grammy Award nominee appeared defiant despite a civil rights group demanding the cancellation of his upcoming concerts because of how he has championed the Confederate Flag, the Associated Press reported . Kid Rock is scheduled to perform a series of shows at the new Little Caesars Arena in Detroit to help celebrate the $860 million venue’s opening. “This is the straw that broke the camel’s back,” the  National Action Network ‘s (NAN) Michigan Chapter President Rev. Charles Williams II told the AP. “When you hire Kid Rock, who is known to be dog-whistling and cat-calling to white supremacist organizations and the white supremacist community, alt-right, whatever you want to call them, and you take our tax dollars to do that? That’s wrong.” The NAN has planned an official protest next week to coincide with Kid Rock’s concerts, which begin Tuesday. Its doubtful the pressure will sway the opinion of Kid Rock, who has been the target of like-minded protests before. His response? “Please tell the people who are protesting to kiss my ass,” the singer said in a statement to then-Fox News anchor Megan Kelly during the summer of 2015. A new report says that  #45’s chief of staff   John Kelly is trying to push her out of the White House inner circle because he’s tired of her creating drama . According to the Daily Beast ,  Kelly has taken steps to prevent the  communications director for the Office of Public Liaison and other senior staffers  from getting unvetted news articles on the president’s desk. Apparently sending the President news and facts riles him up and has him spending the whole day “fuming about it.” Sources told the publication that Omarosa was the  main person who would slip into the Oval Office or email Trump to distract him with negative news coverage or Right Wing conspiracy theory stories. For example, earlier this summer Omarosa was one of the people who would bring President Trump stories about MSNBC hosts, and former Trump pals,   Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinsk i   “slagging him, and his administration.” Soon after, the president tweeted that  Brzezinski “was bleeding badly from a face-lift.” Kelly is not here for another incident like that . “When Gen. Kelly is talking about clamping down on access to the Oval, she’s patient zero,” a source close to the Trump administration told the Daily Beast. A source also told the publication that Kelly “is not thrilled by any means by [Manigault]. He is, however, thrilled that he has been able to stop staffers including Omarosa from bolting into the Oval Office and triggering the president with White House [palace] intrigue stories.” Another White House insider says that  Omarosa is not “happy” with her loss of influence over the president. “She’s not happy about it. She has a bond that goes back years with [Trump] and resents being cut off like everyone has.” Girl bye—literally .
