Hey, remember how Paris Hilton defended Trump , calling him “respectful” and “sweet” as if she’d only met a Trump from an alternate universe? Unfortunately, we remember. She’s been slammed for her comments, because … they were terrible. The interview turns out to have been from a year ago, but still. Her thoughts on the orange man notwithstanding, Paris Hilton’s not stupid — and she’s issued an apology. Plenty of people admire Paris Hilton for her music or her business acumen or her acting or her brand or whatever. These past couple of years of listening to her have positive things to say about Donald Trump has been … painful. While it was obvious that, like Clay Aiken, Paris Hilton’s statements in Trump’s defense were based upon personally knowing him and being totally unable to handle the kind of man he really is because he was always so nice to her . (That’s so common — we’ve all seen people respond to finding out that someone’s an abuser or a serial killer or whatever and going “but he was so nice.” Monsters aren’t always monsters to everyone, folks) Like Clay Aiken , Paris is now apologizing for her remarks defending Trump. In a statement to Us Weekly on Wednesday, Paris Hilton said that she’s sorry for her Trump comments . “I want to apologize for my comments from an interview I did last year.” Always good to start with the apology itself. Remember when we mentioned, as we covered it, that we didn’t know when the interview was actually done? It’s kind of shady that it just popped up right after the Charlottesville Nazi rally and terrorist attack , when Trump is despised even more than usual. “They were part of a much larger story and I am regretful that they were not delivered in the way I had intended.” Now, they shouldn’t have been delivered at all, to be clear. She should not have said what she did, either about Trump being a good person and especially not about the women accusing Trump of sexual assault being fame-seekers. “I was speaking about my own experiences in life and the role of media and fame in our society and it was never my intention for my comments to be misapplied almost a year later.” Poor phrasing isn’t the best excuse. We do understand that Paris is talking about a man she’s known since childhood. We just wish that his present statements and actions would speak loud enough for her to condemn him. Paris Hilton tries to address the shaming of his accusers, specifically. “I always believe in helping women have their voices heard and helping create an environment where women feel empowered and believe in themselves.” That’s good. That’s also very different from accusing Trump’s accusers of bieng liars. “I am deeply hurt by how this has played out and also deeply sorry.” That kind of has a “I’m sorry you were upset” vibe to it, you know? But it’s Paris and we think that she’s being sincere. “Moving forward I will continue to do what I can to be an advocate for girls and women with the hopes of providing a louder voice for those who may desperately need it.” That’s not a condemnation of Trump, but it is an apology. That has to count for something. Honestly, we’re beginning to suspect that there’s more at play here than a personal fondness. It’s possible that Paris’ family has business ties with Trump that could be endangered if she speaks up. We know that Trump’s politics are very different from her own. Remember, this is the woman who did the “Paris For President” music video back in 2008. During that song, she talked about LGBT rights, she talked about scaling back the world’s nukes and also about the importance of environmental protections in the face of climate change. Seriously, “intensify nuclear non-proliferation and ratify Kyoto today” was a line from the song. She also took some well-deserved jabs at George W. Bush. We’d love to see that from Paris again. We believe that she can be that Paris again.

The Daily Stormer is no longer a working website on the Internet. The infamous neo-Nazi, White Supremacy destination was given 24 hours notice by domain hosting company GoDaddy on Monday that it had violated its terms of service and would need to move to another provider if it wished to remain active. “We informed The Daily Stormer that they have 24 hours to move the domain to another provider, as they have violated our terms of service,” GoDaddy wrote on its official Twitter page this morning. The Daily Stormer article that caused this issue slandered Heather Heyer, a 32-year-old woman who was run over by a car that drove at full speed into a crowd of anti-fascist protesters in Virginia this past Saturday. This domestic terrorist act was the tragic culmination of a weekend of protests in Charlottesville . The protests got underway on Friday night during a “United the Right” gathering organized by a white nationalist group. Within hours of their demonstration on the University of Virginia campus, those who opposite their racist world views came together in solidarity around the school and its town. With tempers flaring and violence breaking out, a man later identified as James Fields hit his gas pedal and rammed into two slow-moving cars in front of him on the street. He sent these cars flying into a number of pedestrians… including Heyers. She died from the injuries sustained in this apparent homicide. In a subsequent post on the website he founded, Andrew Anglin alleged that Heyer had been killed in a “road rage incident.” He also launched into a vitriolic tirade about her appearance, saying she was a “drain on society” due to her age and the fact that she had not given birth to any children. “Despite feigned outrage by the media, most people are glad she is dead, as she is the definition of uselessness,” Anglin, the site’s editor, actually wrote. He also claimed that Dodge, the maker of the vehicle used in the incident, may have somehow been behind Fields’ actions as some kind of promotional campaign. Following the article about Heyer and the announcement that GoDaddy would be ending the Daily Stormer’s service, the website appeared to have been hacked by internet activist group Anonymous. An article with Anonymous’ signature Guy Fawkes mask appeared at the top of the page on Monday morning with a headline reading: “END OF HATE: ANONYMOUS NOW IN CONTROL OF DAILY STORMER.” The Daily Stormer, which refers to itself as “The World’s Most Genocidal Republican Website,” has been dubbed the “top hate site in America” by the Southern Poverty Law Center. It endorsed Donald Trump for President in 2015, publishing a story titled “Heil Donald Trump – The Ultimate Savior” after Trump proposed introducing a total ban on Muslim immigration. The site publishes content denigrating Jewish people, Muslims, people of color and women. After failing to identity White Supremacists or their kind by name in his remarks on Saturday, President Trump issues a new statement today that reads as follows: “Racism is evil – and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans. “Those who spread violence in the name of bigotry strike at the very core of America.” After Trump’s vague comments over the weekend, The Daily Stormer had shared a post with readers that praised the President and his views, interpreting them to mean he did not see its members as a unique threat to the country.

Imagine going through seven years of school to become a lawyer … only to work an entire legal case about alleged genital odor. That’s right — it’s time for another update about the actual court case in which Joanna Krupa is suing Brandi Glanville for claiming that her vagina stinks. This time, it’s not Brandi Glanville testifying about Joanna Krupa’s vagina … it’s Joanna Krupa’s ex, Romain Zago. And he had a lot to say. Yeah, it’s time for an update in the stupidest slander case that we’ve heard of in a good, long while. Presumably , as her ex, Romain Zago would be the closest thing to an expert in how her genitals smell. (Though some people have unbelievable hangups about oral sex, so you never know) The two filed for divorce only a few days before the deposition, but apparently it’s an incredibly amicable divorce. In the deposition obtained by TMZ , Romain Zago tells Brandi Glanville’s lawyer in no uncertain words that he disagrees with Brandi’s, um, olfactory observation: “If you want to know the answer to this stupid comments from your client, (Joanna’s) vagina smells amazing.” In case anyone doubted his sworn testimony, he added an oath: “And I swear on God, Jesus, my father, my brothers.” We’re sure that all of the parties that he just named would have preferred to just be left out of this discussion. Romain also compared Joanna’s genital odor to other women. “Better than any other woman in the world.” That’s … high praise. That’s also the weirdest high praise that we’ve ever heard. As you might recall, Joanna Krupa is suing Brandi Glanville for $15,000 for apparently insulting her good name in what we’d call the most ridiculous feud … except that most feuds are similarly ridiculous. We have to imagine that both women have spent at least that much already on legal bills. It seems like Joanna is after vindication in court that her vagina doesn’t smell bad. Instead, she’s just going to forever associate herself with Brandi’s comment, which may or may not have been accurate. Joanna’s a beautiful woman — does she really want to forever be “the Real Housewife who sued to prove that her vagina isn’t smelly” in people’s minds? Because that’s what she’s going to get, no matter how this case ends. So … do we need to talk about genital odor in general, here? Everybody’s genitals have some sort of smell. They’re supposed to. Vaginas are self-cleaning, but sometimes their pH balance can get a little messed up. The result can be a change in odor (and discharge). Just a few things that can mess up pH balance: -menstruation -exposure to a penis -soap or bodywash But there are a few things that require treatment can mess with genital odor, such as yeast infections. That shouldn’t be a source of shame — at least 75% of adults with vaginas will have at least one yeast infection in their lifetimes. There are simple creams to treat these, but in the mean time, odor might change a little. As to whether or not this was behind Brandi Glanville’s comments about Joanna Krupa … we have no idea. This might be an expensive exchange for Brandi Glanville, but considering how unpleasant Brandi’s other feud is, this must be an almost welcome distraction. Seriously, Brandi has accused LeAnn Rimes of trying to steal her life . Being sued in court over something so ridiculous should feel like a vacation after all of that. So far, the only person who’s coming out of this case looking good is Romain Zago with this testimony.

President Donald Trump has decided to remove the embattled Anthony Scaramucci as communications director for his administration. The non-failing New York Times reported the news, which follows the Mooch’s tumultuous 10-day tenure, moments ago. Three people close to the decision said Scaramucci is out following what has been the most insane week of the Trump White House to date. Which, as you know regardless of which side of the political spectrum you find yourself on these days, is saying a hell of a lot. Scaramucci recently took over the position having apparently been denied a post in the Trump administration earlier this year. That was one point of contention in a crude, verbal tirade he unleashed against the White House staff … in the New Yorker. Sean Spicer, the former press secretary, resigned immediately after he too the job, rather than take orders from Scaramucci. Reince Priebus, Trump’s first chief of staff and a “paranoid, c–k blocking schizophrenic” (Anthony’s words) is also out the door. Preibus and senior adviser Steve Bannon, who Scaramucci says wants to suck his own c–k , shared power in the White House since January. Despite different backgrounds, goals and styles of management, they actually coexisted better than most in the Trump administration. If Scaramucci had anything to say about it, they would both be out on the street, though it appears Trump has fired Anthony instead. Scaramucci had boasted about reporting directly to the President and not the chief of staff, John F. Kelly, who just replaced Priebus. Perhaps it’s not surprising that the decision to boot Scaramucci reportedly came at Kelly’s request, the sources close to the situation said. Kelly made clear to the few remaining members of the White House staff at a meeting Monday morning that he’s in charge from now on. It was not clear whether Scaramucci will remain employed at the White House in another position or will leave altogether. We would have to assume the latter. Even by Trump supporter standards, his off-color comments and overall ridiculousness raised red flags, which again is saying something. He demonstrated an absoluitely astounding lack of media savvy for someone serving as the liaison between the press and the POTUS. It’s hard to see where you go after telling the New Yorker’s Ryan Lizza, “I fired one guy the other day. I have 3-4 people I’ll fire tomorrow.” “I’ll get to the person who leaked that to you. Reince Priebus … if you want to leak something … he’ll be asked to resign very shortly.” Clearly gunning for the title of Most Batsh-t Member of the Trump Staff, he made sure he got it after launching into an impression of Priebus: “Let me leak the f–king thing and see if I can c–kblock these people the way I c–kblocked Scaramucci for six months.” He then turned his sights to Bannon, complaining that the former Breitbart News CEO and Trump campaign chair is only in this for himself. “I’m not Steve Bannon, I’m not trying to suck my own c–l,” Scaramucci said, ridiculing the shadowy alt-right Trump confidant. “I’m not trying to build my own brand off the f–king strength of the president,” he said. “I’m here to serve the country.” Scaramucci had a good run. The president in no way, form or fashion has ever promoted or encouraged violence. If anything, quite the contrary. So said Deputy White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders earlier this week. Fast forward a couple days… and Donald Trump has posted what may be his most ridiculous and controversial Tweet to date; which, we know, is saying A LOT. In the video below, however, which the President of the United States shared on his social media account on Saturday morning, Trump has edited an appearance he made for the WWE back in 2007. In the footage, he is beating up on the CNN logo, continuing his feud against the cable news network and directly contracting the Sanders quote above. If this isn't an encouragement of violence against the press, we're not sure what is. This is the fourth straight day Trump has used the most powerful platform on the planet to rail against the media, following a bizarre rant against Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski . We could have said this many times in the past, but he's legitimately coming across as completely unhinged these says. Twitter is more concerned than usual about the mental state of our Commander-in-Chief. Here are just a few examples of what is being said about the President: In a perfectly-worded response, CNN shot back as follow today: It is a sad day when the President of the United States encourages violence against reporters. Clearly, Sarah Huckabee Sanders lied when she said the President had never done so. Instead of preparing for his overseas trip, his first meeting with Vladimir Putin, dealing with North Korea and working on his health care bill, he is instead involved in juvenile behavior far below the dignity of his office. Jenelle Evans’ household might be full to bursting with children this summer, but little baby Ensley Jolie Eason will catch your eye. And melt your heart. The thing about babies is that they grow up so fast. You can look at a series of photos (like this one) and see her growing already. Some Teen Moms get their happily ever after, but it’s too soon to tell with Jenelle Evans. (Also, Too Soon to Tell With Jenelle would be a good name for a show — one day she could host a series where she points out red flags in relationships based on her previous bad experience) But, in all seriousness, Jenelle has had a flurry of past troubles, from custody issues to family feuds to serious substance-abuse issues . Plus, of course, she became a mom as a teenager. Imagine having that kind of responsibility before you’re even allowed to vote. Not that Jenelle is the first name that we think of when we think of responsible parents. Her love for partying has been well-documented, which would be fine … if she weren’t a mother of three. But look at how precious Ensley looks in her mom’s arms! We’re not saying that having this particular baby will just magically “fix” Jenelle’s life. But sometimes things just click for people. They reach a point in their lives, or find the right person, and they get better. We’re not necessarily saying that David Eason is the right (or wrong) person for Jenelle. But we’d love to think that having three kids (really kind of four, at the moment) and preparing for her wedding are either signs or causes or both that she’s really stepping up to the plate. The fact that she has Jace for the summer makes it sound like maybe some people trust her more than they used to. (Remember that her mother’s had custody of Jace for ages, so this is a big deal) It’d be nice to live in a world where Jenelle is just a young mother and not doing things that get her accused of putting herself before her kids . But she’s clearly so enamored with Ensley. And since that’s Kaiser Griffith’s toy dragon that Ensley’s playing with, it looks like he’s enjoying being a big brother. Look at how big she looks! It seems like it was just yesterday that she was, like, half that size and in no condition to play with anything. Now she’s in a jumper — a confusing word for British folks, but that’s life — and engaging with the world around her. Like, babies reach a point where they start to develop and express personalities and really interact with their surroundings. And it looks like this little cutie has reached that developmental plateau. It wasn’t that long ago that the only way to make Ensley look like more than a cute human object was with Snapchat filters. Remember? Honestly, adoring this baby is the most relatable thing that Jenelle’s done since her days of obsessing over Kesha . Like, she’s a 25-year-old reality star and serial monogamist who might have a sex obsession who’s struggled throughout her young life with moderation. (Along with everything else that a girl could possibly struggle with, it seems) But caring for children, scary as it can be, can kind of keep people grounded.
