Stacey Dash Suspended From Fox News Over Profane Language While Criticizing Obama Apparently, there are some levels of disrespect for Obama that even Fox News won’t tolerate. Stacey Dash just learned the hard way to watch her mouth while shes on air, after cursing while babbling on some of her republican rhetoric about why they don’t like Obama this week. The Fox news mouthpiece was given a ho sit down by the network after accusing the POTUS of “not giving a sh*t” about the deaths of Americans at the hands of potential jihadists in California last week. Via CNN : Ralph Peters, a Fox News “strategic analyst,” called the president a “total pu—” who “doesn’t want to hurt our enemies.” A couple of hours later Stacey Dash, a Fox contributor, said the president “didn’t give a sh–” about Sunday night’s terrorism speech. “Earlier today, Fox contributors Lt. Col. Ralph Peters and Stacey Dash made comments on different programs that were completely inappropriate and unacceptable for our air,” Fox senior executive vice president Bill Shine said. “Fox Business Network and Fox News Channel do not condone the use of such language, and have suspended both Peters and Dash for two weeks,” he said. Dash’s profane remark was partially bleeped during “Outnumbered,” a lunchtime talk show on Fox News. Peters’ comments were not bleeped at all. He spoke to anchor Stuart Varney on the Fox Business Network, a smaller sister of Fox News. Varney let him speak for over a minute, then told Peters, “You can’t use language like that on the program, OK?” Old boy was BOLD calling our president a p*ssy. This suspension seems like a slap on the wrist for him… Eiher way, Stacey seems to be taking her suspension in stride: Do you think the punishment fit the crime??

God Isn’t Fixing This: N.Y. Daily News Cover Slams "Coward" Politicians in Wake of Massacre

The New York Daily News’ cover in the wake of yesterday’s San Bernardino, Calif., massacre is both provocative and highly political. By design. The publication calls out those it feels could do something to end the plague of gun violence, but instead revert to useless platitudes, time after time. The tweet of the Daily News front page, which hits newsstands in print form this morning, is already the most retweeted of 2015 for the paper. Beneath the headline God Isn’t Fixing This, the cover reads: “As latest batch of innocent Americans are left lying in pools of blood, cowards who could truly end gun scourge continue to hide behind meaningless platitudes.” U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan and GOP presidential candidates Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush and Lindsey Graham all responded with “prayers.” Four pull quotes from the Republican political leaders are plastered on the publication’s front page in eerily similar, arguably meaningless glory. Think that means a lot to the victims of San Bernardino – 14 dead and 14 wounded – and the victims of the inevitable next mass shooting? For their part, and by contrast Democratic presidential hopefuls Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders pointedly called for “action” to stop gun violence. President Barack Obama, meanwhile underscored the need for stronger gun control laws in the United States after Wednesday’s mass murder. It’s a message he has stressed repeatedly in recent years, and weeks, as he is forced to address tragedies like this with alarming frequency. While the Daily News is obviously in the business of selling papers and ads and benefits from the viral sensation that is this cover, you tell us: Is it a viral sensation at least in part because it says what so many people are thinking but are afraid to, and so jarringly hits the nail on the head? First Black Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm Receives Posthumous Presidential Medal Of Freedom

Shirley Chisholm Receives Posthumous Presidential Medal Of Freedom Shirley Chisholm , the first Black woman to run for president and congresswoman, finally has recieved a posthumous Presidential Medal of Freedom according to Vox reports. While the idea of a black person or woman running for the country’s highest office isn’t exactly novel anymore, it certainly was when Rep. Shirley Chisholm (D-NY) ran for the Democratic ticket in 1972. Chisholm, who died in 2005, received a posthumous Presidential Medal of Freedom Tuesday along with 16 other notable Americans including indigenous persons advocate Billy Frank Jr., baseball legends Willie Mays and Yogi Berra, and entertainer Barbra Streisand. “Shirley Chisholm’s example transcends her life,” President Barack Obama said Tuesday during the ceremony. “When asked how she’d like to be remembered, she said, ‘I’d like them to say Shirley Chisholm had guts.’ And I’m proud to say it — Shirley Chisholm had guts.” Among a crowded field of Democrats, Chisholm was the first woman of color to run for president for a major party, and the first woman Democrat. But at that point, she was no stranger to firsts. She was the first black woman elected to Congress in 1968 and was a co-founder of the Congressional Black Caucus and later, the Congressional Women’s Caucus. Chisholm, who famously declared herself “unbought and unbossed,” wasn’t exactly warmly received in Congress, where she was decidedly the odd woman out. “I have no intention of just sitting quietly and observing,” she once said. Of course, she certainly did not. Early on, Chisholm openly fought her appointment to the Committee on Agriculture because it would hardly affect her constituents in Brooklyn, New York. Eventually she was appointed to the Veterans’ Affairs Committee. Throughout her tenure, she was known to criticize both Republicans and members of her own party for not addressing the needs of the “have nots.” Well deserved!

Turkey, Russia and their respective allies have entered a war of words about the downing of a Russian warplane near the Turkey-Syria border – raising tensions in a region struggling to cope with the ongoing Syrian conflict. The Russian Sukhoi Su-24 warplane was shot down for violating Turkish airspace on Tuesday morning, Turkish officials said, angering Russia#39;s President Vladimir Putin, who likened the incident to being “stabbed in the back”. More positivity from this prestigious HBCU … Morehouse President Announces #BlackLivesMatter Presidential Dialogue The President of Morehouse College is making national headlines for announcing a #BlackLivesMatter Presidential Dialogue. During the monthly discussion Dr. John Silvanus Wilson Jr. will meet with students to discuss topics including violence against black people and LGBTQA issues. Via Morehouse.edu: Morehouse President Dr. John Silvanus Wilson Jr. has established a monthly discussion group, the #BlackLivesMatter Presidential Dialogue, in response to student activism on the Atlanta University Center Campus. The president will be joined by students and faculty members from Morehouse, Spelman and Clark Atlanta University to talk about issues ranging from sexual assault across campuses, to violence against black people, to a more responsible embrace of the College’s LGBTQA students. “Simply, the design of the dialogue is to have an institutional space for activist talk and action where at the conclusion of each meeting, there will be a tangible action item employed that will demonstrate our community’s understanding of Black Lives Matter issues and needed solutions,’’ Wilson said. “At Morehouse, we want to get this right,” he told students during a discussion held at the Davidson House Center for Excellence, the president’s official residence. That initial discussion was the catalyst for the monthly dialogue, which officially begins in January 2016 and will continue to be hosted at the Davidson House. Leah Messer to Win Back Custody of Twin Daughters?!

Last month, Leah Messer lost custody of her twin daughters to ex-husband Corey Simms. Though Leah gets to spend time with 5-year-olds Ali and Aleeah on weekends, the girls spend most of their week living with Simms and his new wife and daughter. Now, Radar Online is reporting that Leah recently scored a major legal victory that could be the first step in regaining custody of the twins. The court’s determination that Ali and Aleeah should stay with their father during the school week was based largely on Simms’ claim that the girls were frequently late for school. Leah insisted from the start that that was a lie, and now, she’s reportedly been able to secure time-stamped photos of her drop-offs and, as well as testimony from the school’s superintendent to prove that the girls were almost always on time. “Leah had all kinds of proof to shut them down,” says one insider. “They admitted the records were inaccurate.” Leah’s lawyers have even gone so far as to Corey and his new wife of manipulating evidence. Sources say it’s noe looking as though Leah will be successful in her efforts to have a judge re-examine her case. “Leah is convinced Corey and Miranda persuaded a school employee to mark them tardy,” says the insider.  “She has a good chance of bringing this to the court. She really could get her daughters back.” Of course, just proving that she’s been consistently able to get the girls to school on time likely won’t be enough to convince a judge to restore custody to Leah. Leah’s drug problems have been well-documented, but she appears to still be in denial about her addiction.  Additionally, the worst cases of Leah’s negligent parenting (many of which were captured by Teen Mom cameras) are sure to be brought up by Simms’ lawyers. Leah may be making strides these days, but she has a long way to go to convince the court that she can provide a suitable home for Ali and Aleeah. Bill O’Reilly to Donald Trump: Just Stop Tweeting!

In case it weren't incredible enough that Donald Trump is leading the Republican field for President, consider this: He's leading the Republican field for President while somehow managing to NOT get along well with Fox News anchors. We already know how Trump feels about Megyn Kelly . And now he's gotten into it with the face of the network himself, Bill O'Reilly. Trump appeared on The O’Reilly Factor on Monday to defend his retweet of fabricated crime statistics that blamed African-Americans for most of the country's homicides. The Donald made the news on November 22 when he quoted a chart that somehow claimed African-Americans are responsible for 81 percent of murders in which white people are the victims. The actual number, according to the FBI, is pretty much the exact opposite: 82 percent of murders involving white victims in 2014 were committed by other white people. O’Reilly confronted Trump with this ill-informed message, saying “it’s totally wrong” and he’s “bothered” by Trump publicizing it, to which the politician actually replied: “Hey Bill. Bill. Am I gonna check every statistic? I've got millions and millions of people, @realDonaldTrump by the way.” “You've got to, you're a presidential contender,” O'Reilly replied to Trump's wild notion that he “check every statistic,” or at least the ones that claim one race goes around killing another race. O'Reilly didn't exactly convince Trump of his side (shocking, right?), despite trying to explain that such a message is perfect for Democrats it allows them to paint Trump as “racist.” In the end, after Trump refused to give an inch, O'Reilly offered up a suggestion: just stop Tweeting. “Give it up for Lent,” O'Reilly said. “Lent is coming soon.”
