Former Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin is expected to be a witness at a University of Tennessee student’s internet fraud trial next month. University of Tennessee student David Kernell, now 22, is accused of accessing Sarah Palin’s personal e-mail account (gov.palin@yahoo.com) while she was Sen. John McCain’s running mate. Palin was governor at the time. Prosecutors contend Kernell answered some security questions, like Palin’s date of birth and where she met her spouse, then reset her password. He’s accused of posting the new password on the internet so others could look at her e-mail account. I doubt the defense attorney will ask Palin any of the questions that most of us are dying to hear her answer, but I know I will still be paying very close attention to this trial. Just in case.

The rumored attachment of Matt Damon to a slated Bobby Kennedy biopic has gained momentum now that the Bourne Identity actor has confirmed he has been in talks for the film but has yet to see a screenplay according to Reuters. “I haven’t seen a script yet but I have been talking to [director] Gary Ross about that for over a year and we are both really excited to do it.” Ross directed Pleasantville and Seabiscuit . The Kennedy movie will be based on a biography by Evan Thomas titled His Life. Kennedy was shot in 1968 while on the presidential campaign trail in Los Angeles.

According to Nicole Forrester, there’s a 95% chance Josh Duhamel is doing a great impression of former Presidential candidate John Edwards. According to THG , of course, there’s 99.99999% chance Nicole Forrester is full of crap. The Georgia-based stripper – who claimed in November that she regretted telling the tabloids about her affair with the actor … yet is now milking the allegation for loads of cash – tells The National Enquirer that she’s with child. “Yes, I’m pregnant. Yes, it’s probably Josh’s. I haven’t decided what I’m going to do,” Forrester told the newspaper this week. How confident is Nicole that Duhamel is the father? 95 percent, she said. The Enquirer is rarely a reliable source, but it did correctly call the Edwards/Rielle Hunter affair. It was also the first to detail Forrester’s supposed night of passion with Fergie’s husband, as she claims they had sex – bad sex , mind you – in a $820/night hotel suite after they met at Atlanta’s all-nude Tattletales Lounge club. The publication says Forrester has passed a polygraph test. Of course, Duhamel must do a lot more than simply deny an affair in order to emulate Edwards. He’s still an aide-assisted, state funds-used cover up and sex tape to go!

While his baby mama’s mama is under fire for hilariously writing notes on her bare hand , Levi Johnston makes one thing clear in the latest issue of Playgirl : He’s comfortable in his bare skin. The magazine is relaunching its print edition with this issue, as it’s anchored by an article titled “Levi Johnston Goes Rogue.” The accompanying pictorial includes an interview with Johnston, who is the father to Bristol Palin’s one-year old son, Tripp. He’s embroiled in a patrimony lawsuit with the Palins, which seems odd: He doesn’t appear to have any money on him, does he? For those that need more than just a few Levi Johnston nude photos, take note: a Playgirl pay-per-view special airs on cable February 12. Check your local listings. And to critics that find it appalling for Johnston to milk his fame in such a shameful manner, we agree. Seriously, it would be akin to a former Vice Presidential candidate exploiting her children and grandchild on the cover of a tabloid. But no serious-minded politican would do that, right?

A major earthquake rocked Haiti, killing possibly thousands of people as it toppled the presidential palace and hillside shanties alike and left the Caribbean nation appealing for international help. A five-story U.N. building was also brought down by Tuesday's 7.0 magnitude quake, the most powerful to hit Haiti in more than 200 years according to the U.S.
