It’s been about six weeks since Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff broke up , and both parties have remained relatively mum on the cause of their split. Sure, they’ve made some vague remarks to the press, but we don’t really know what prompted to abruptly end their Although we’re starting to get a rough idea of where it all went wrong… That’s Jack hanging out with singer and former Lena bestie Lorde. We’re not saying they’re definitely hooking up, but it’s worth noting that the amount of time Lorde’s been spending with Jack is inversely proportional to the amount of time she’s been spending with Lena. In other words, yeah, we basically are saying they’re hooking up. Jack and Lorde (real name Ella Yelich-O’Connor) claim that they’re just friends, but their recent behavior seems to tell a different story. For starters, the two of them spent the entirety of Grammy weekend together. Now granted, they’re frequent collaborators, so it made sense that they were seated next to each other at the ceremony. But partying with a friend of the opposite sex when you’re fresh from a high-profile breakup obviously sends a certain message. And onlookers say Jack and Lorde didn’t seem to mind that others were picking up on that message. But the clearest indication that Jack and Lorde are hooking up is that the two of them were recently spotted hanging out one-on-one in Auckland, in her native New Zealand. Antonoff played a show there with his band, but the fact that he decided to stay on in the farthest nether-regions of the planet just to spend a few more days with Lorde might speak volumes about their relationship. “There’s nothing going on between Ella and Jack,” one insider tells People magazine. “There’s not any type of romantic situation. They’re just friends — they really are just friends.” It sounds like the source here, really, really wants to believe there’s nothing romantic going on between Jack and Lorde. We wouldn’t be surprised if the insider went on to make a bunch of uncomfortable comments about Odell Beckham Jr . The source is Lena Dunham, is what we’re saying.

Getty Jill Scott & Mike Dobson Splitting Following 15 Months Of Marriage Singer Jill Scott’s estranged ex snagged a victory in divorce court Thursday. A judge granted Mike Dobson’s request for a restraining order against Scott that bars her from trash talking him to her friends, the press and on social media. Dobson filed a motion for a restraining order against the “Golden” singer last month after accusing her of airing their dirty laundry on social media and outright lying to family members and others about his sexual orientation and being a a con artist. Dobson said in court papers that Scott had been posting subliminal messages on Facebook related to their split, including sharing and liking a video about having one life to live, and another video with the words “Now here’s a man who understands women.” The judge apparently sided with the City of Atlanta employee, and granted the order, according to public records. Scott already has her own restraining order against Dobson in place – meaning both are now under a court order not to harass each other. Scott filed for divorce last September, citing irreconcilable differences and “inappropriate marital conduct that such further cohabitation would be unsafe and improper.” Dobson countersued Scott earlier this month, accusing her of bullying him throughout their marriage and coercing him into signing a bad prenup agreement. Dobson asked for half the marital assets, along with $500,000 for the pain and suffering he allegedly endured.
Mark Salling was a sexual predator and child pornography collector who deserved to be killed based on that alone…but luckily he took it out on himself and killed himself thanks to being unable to live with his pervert self…that I guess was publicly humilated and who’s career was totally fucking over…rightfully so….people into child porn are the worst scum of the earth who deserve to be murdered violently. That’s some real fucking sick shit to be into….even if it’s a mental disorder – we don’t need that kind. But after watching this video – it is safe to say that Mark Salling, the actor on GLEE, who raped a girl unprotected before the “METOO” movement, but who also was found to have thousands of child porno pics – and had to register as a sex offender – probably should have killed himself long before he got into this mess…because this song and dance shit from TV is more humiliating than publicly being outted the worst kind a sexual deviant… I guess the real tragedy in this is that he didn’t bring down the tranny with him, not that she’s that bad since becoming a hot influencer chick who mooches off the press from these people dying. Here are some of her pics: The post Mark Salling Pervert Predator Sex Offender Suicide of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepFather.com .
If you’ve been anywhere near social media this week, then you’re no doubt aware that Kim Kardashian has welcomed her third child . You’re probably also aware that she gave that child a very strange name. Yes, the moniker Chicago West is dominating all other Kardashian news this week for the simple reason that it’s an unusual name for a baby girl, even by Kimye standards. Kim and Kanye would probably appreciate it if most critics would hold their damn tongues, but they’re probably not too upset about the fact that Chicago is dominating the entertainment news cycle. For one thing, Kim and Kanye are of the opinion that everything they do is deserving of the public’s full attention and that’s doubly true when they do something that’s actually newsworthy, such as welcoming a child and naming it after a major American city. And as a bonus, the name distracts from the weird news coming out today about Kim and Kanye’s surrogate: As we reported yesterday, Kim’s surrogate was reported to have been very well-paid for her services. That would make perfect sense, of course, as being a surrogate is a major commitment and Kim and Kanye are very wealthy. Today, however, Radar Online is reporting that the surrogate (who remains anonymous) was paid much, much less than initially thought. The site claims that the surrogate received a mere $68,850 in compensation “for all discomfort, pain, suffering, and inconveniences, for pregnancy and pre-birth child support expenses and post-birth expenses.” It’s a sizable sum, to be sure, but a mere fraction of what was expected as payment from one of the wealthiest couples in entertainment. In addition to the flat fee, Kim and Kanye agreed to cover “obstetrical, nursing, hospital and maternity care, pharmaceutical, pediatrics, or other costs,” as well as covering all “medical expenses, fees, costs and services relating to the pregnancy and the birth of the child.” Generous, sure, but also a standard part of most surrogate agreements. The Wests even went so far as to put a clause in the contract ensuring that they would not be held responsible if, for any reason, the surrogate’s husband was forced to miss work during her pregnancy: “The Intended Parents shall have no responsibility to pay the gestational carrier’s husband’s lost wages under this agreement,” We should note that none of this comes directly from the surrogate, as according to the terms of her contract, she’s not permitted to speak to the press. The surrogate’s parents spoke on her behalf earlier this week and assured the public that all is well. “She is doing well,” her mother told Radar Online. “Everything went well. As a matter of fact, she’s at home resting,” said the surrogate’s father, when asked if there were any complications. Both parties declined to offer any further information for fear of giving away their daughter’s identity. An anonymous source says the mother-of-two is happy with the arrangement, as she was never really in it for the money: “Neither she or her husband have asked for a nickel more from Kim or Kanye” said the source. “They just wanted to bless someone’s family with the gift of a child.” That’s nice and all, but if the family you’re blessing happens to be insanely wealthy, might as well ensure that your own kids are taken care of, right? Just sayin’ … View Slideshow: Kim, Khloe and Kylie: All the Intel on ALL the Babies!
LOS ANGELES, CA – NOVEMBER 02: Singer Mary J. Blige and husband Kendu Isaacs arrive at the LACMA 2013 Art + Film Gala at LACMA on November 2, 2013 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Gregg DeGuire/WireImage) Martin “Kendu” Isaacs Says He’s Struggling Since Split From Singer Mary J. Blige’s soon to be ex-husband has accused her of turning a profit on their divorce as he demanded more money from the singer as they continue to battle out in their acrimonious divorce. Isaacs filed paperwork last month accusing the “Real Love” singer of withholding his pay from his work as her personal manager on her “King & Queen of Hearts” tour. Isaacs said Blige currently owes him a total of $345,820, and he hasn’t seen a dime, according to court docs. Blige’s ex also claimed his estranged wife has used him as a punching bag in the press, and despite his “aggressive” efforts, he hasn’t been able to work since she fired him in July 2016. “In fact, petitioner has financially benefitted from this divorce because she used it as a platform to promote her new music, album and tour,” Kendu wrote in court papers which were obtained by BOSSIP. “Since the divorce was initiated, she has released at least two songs that have been dubbed her ‘divorce’ songs. The evidence will show that petitioner reaped a substantial profit from this divorce.” Isaacs, 49, doubled down on his claims that he’s entitled to half of her royalties, residuals and commissions that Mary earned from her music, film and TV work during their nearly 13-year marriage, according to his filing. Isaacs – who recently said the stress of the divorce put him in the hospital – also wants her to pay his attorney’s fees. A judge will now decide how much Isaac deserves when the case heads to trial in March. Isaacs has asked for $65,000 a month in alimony payments for the rest of his life. However, Mary has contended in court papers that the $30,000 a month that she’s already paying him is too much and accused him of misappropriating $420,000 on his mistress. Continue reading →
As you’ve likely heard by now, Kim Kardashian welcomed her third child this week. The baby was born via surrogate at Cedars Sinai Hospital in LA early Monday morning. Kim made the announcement via her subscription-based app, but at this point, details are still relatively scarce. We know the baby is a girl, and the delivery went smoothly–but that’s about it. It might be weeks before Kim and Kanye go public with additional information, but one person who was directly involved in bringing their child into the world is speaking out … kind of. Not much is known about the surrogate hired by Kim and Kanye , and it seems that according to her contract, she’s not allowed to speak to the press. But that doesn’t mean her parents can’t speak to the press. Yes, the anonymous surrogate has contacted her mother and father, and in turn, they gave an interview to Radar Online. It might be the closest we’ll ever come to hearing from the surrogate directly. Fortunately, the parents have remained anonymous, which means the surrogate is not in violation of her agreement with Kim and Kanye. “She is doing well,” her mother tells Radar. “[Tuesday] she told me she felt fine.” Asked if there were any complications with the delivery, the surrogate’s father replied, “No, everything went well. As a matter of fact, she’s at home resting.” “She’s safe at home with her husband,” the mother added. Unfortunately, there are two matters on which the proud parents played it coy. For starters, they refused to reveal if their daughter was a fan of Kim’s before carrying the reality star’s baby. “She may have been!” her mother remarked vaguely, adding: “According to what my daughter told me, yes, they got along.” And per their daughter’s contract, the parents offered no information on how much Kim and Kanye paid for the use of her uterus. We suppose that’s okay. It’s not like we need an exact figure to tell us that the anonymous woman who had the honor of delivering the newest member of the Kardashian-West clan is now very, very wealthy. This is Harley Barber. Harley Barber is AΦ and thinks that she can throw around the N word and not be held accountable for her actions. @UofAlabama let’s prove her wrong. Racism and Bigotry will not and can not be tolerated. Period. pic.twitter.com/oKp8KlNMfo — Brittney K (@_thebrittneyk) January 16, 2018 Harley Barber Expelled Don’t be sorry now, stupid. That’s the message that’s being sent to Harley Barber, a University of Alabama student whose racist rant went viral. As previously reported the audacious Alpha Phi sorority member posted several videos calling black people “n***rs” and adding that she can drop the N-word freely because she’s in the south. “We do not waste water,” said Barber in a video of herself turning off a water faucet. “We don’t waste water because of people in Syria. I love how I act like I love black people because I f–king hate n—–s. So, that’s really interesting — I f—king hate n—–s, but I just saved the f–king n—–s by shutting that water off.” She later added this in another video after receiving backlash; ““I’ve wanted to be in Alpha Phi since f–king high school and nobody f—king understands how much I love Alpha Phi,” Barber says, staring directly at the camera. “And now someone wants to save my finsta because I said n—-r? You know what? N—-r, n—-r, n—-r. I don’t care if it’s Martin Luther King Day.” Watch ya clotted cream mouth beyotch. The New Jersey native has now been expelled from Alabama and she’s apologizing for being a rancid racist in an interview with The New York Post. “I did something really, really bad,” Barber told The Post. “I don’t know what to do and I feel horrible. I’m wrong and there’s just no excuse for what I did.” Asked if she considered the advice from one of her friends who suggested that Barber not post the videos, Barber replied: “No, I’m an idiot. There’s no excuse. I did something really bad.” See what happens when you’re a wasted dollop of dumpster mayo??? Harley Barber is an example of how your right to free speech does not protect you from the repercussions of said speech. — Monique Judge (@thejournalista) January 17, 2018 What do YOU think about Harley Barber getting expelled???
Image via Danielle James/iONEDigital How Black Hollywood Is Failing The Black Press This article was written by staff writer and producer Keyaira Kelly and was originally published by our iONE sister site Hello Beautiful . I was a budding journalist nervously going over my iPhone notes for my first red carpet interview when I noticed it. I was proudly standing on the HelloBeautiful place marker waiting for the behind-the-scenes chaos to begin, when I spotted around my feet the strategic placements of almost every other Black outlet in the space. It doesn’t take a veteran to realize the Black press cluster at the end of red carpet lineups makes Black reporters susceptible to the brush-by of celebs and publicists who politely quip, “sorry, ran out of time” as they scurry out of view. Black media often receives rushed statements, or no comment at all, even though that same Black celebrity stopped for E! Online just moments ago. The strategic cafeteria table-esque segregation of Black press on red carpets is one of many micro-aggressions we face as Black journalists. And while being placed at the tail-end of a carpet is more indicative of the predominately White media system and its value assessment of Black press, these oversights are even more hurtful when they come from your own people. The fact is, too many of our Black celebrities are simply not supporting us. Most, if not all, Black celeb power seeds in our communities. The dominant corporations and media powers-that-be mine our talent and resources for the “next big thing.” And Black media celebrates when our people are plucked out of our silos and make it. We cheer as they float up into mainstream heaven with the hopes that, as they ascend, that they will still feel our loose grips on their balloon strings and tug back. But all too often, that mutual support just isn’t felt. In many cases, once a celebrity passes a certain status, they completely forget about those same Black media outlets who were among the first to cover them and their talents. We live in an age where social capital immediately translates into monetary capital. Re-tweets and shares translate into clicks, which drive traffic and advertising dollars and revenue. That’s the reality of our business model. So when small teams of Black journalists take the time and effort to profile a Black celebrity with a large reach and that content isn’t shared with the influencer’s audiences, the impact reverberates through us all. Just a simple scan of some of your favorite Black celebs Twitter and IG feeds and you would discover links to and RTs of interviews they did with White outlet after White outlet, while Black-owned, Black-run press is often omitted from the conversation. I don’t write this with the intent to say the erasure is entirely malicious or even conscious. The lure of White validation is something we’ve all been conditioned to seek. In 2016, Very Smart Brothas writer Damon Young, unpacked how he, and many other Black people, subconsciously value “the attention of the mainstream platforms more than the Black ones”–even if they don’t show us the same love back. We still throw up our hands in outrage when we lose Oscars and Grammys and Golden Globes to mediocre White talent, when in reality those systems were never created to celebrate us in the first place. After Beyoncés “Lemonade” album of the year Grammy snub in 2016, Solange echoed this sentiment urging black folks to “Create your own committees, build your own institutions, give your friends awards, award yourself, and be the gold you wanna hold my g’s.” Black press was born from that same place of urgency. Early 19th-century Black newspapers like the Freedom’s Journal, the North Star and the Frederick Douglas Papers sought to inform Black people from Black perspectives during a time when literacy rates were dismal among our people. After thriving for a century, many Black newspapers folded, unable to attract advertising dollars in the midst of economic crisis. Fortunately, the spirit of those early Black media outlets were reincarnated digitally, with outlets like The Root, Ebony, The Grio, Blavity, Black Voices, Madame Noire, Essence, and HelloBeautiful’s own parent company iOne Digital now carrying the torch and commitment to telling our stories our way. In a time where the press and freedom of speech are under attack more than ever before in modern history, the support from our communities and our celebrities is indispensable. When we say Black Lives Matter, we have to talk about this statement beyond the clutches of police brutality: behind every one of our bylines is a Black life. Black jobs matter. Black families matter. Black POVs matters. Black ownership matters. #BlackPressMatters. And when you have a company, like iOne Digital, which is one of the few remaining Black-owned media companies in the country, snubbed or not acknowledged for our coverage and support of Black interests, it eats away at the foundation of success that keeps our communities alive. So Black celebs, my brothers and sisters, I urge you to pay attention to the Black journalist at the end of the carpet nervously holding her recorder waiting to snag a quote from you. Tell your publicist that you want to give equal time to People Mag and MadameNoire. Google your name and make a note to retweet or share the latest article from the small Black women’s website that can’t get enough of your style choices. When breaking news happens, make it a point to share coverage from the black perspective as well as the big headline from CNN. After you complete an interview, post that photo inside our small studios and don’t forget to tag our brands. We’re all in this together. And nobody wins when the family forgets. Editor’s note: We truly hope this message sinks in with all of our beloved Black celebrities
Kailyn Lowry’s love life is a subject of constant speculation from Teen Mom 2 fans. We admit that it can be tough to keep track of Kailyn’s romantic relationships in the year since she split from Javi Marroquin , but here’s our best shot at a definitive rundown: Kailyn dated Chris Lopez for a few weeks, and she wound up having his child. Lopez proceeded to pull a punk move and basically abandoned Kail and the baby, later having a change of heart and deciding that he would like to play a role in his son’s life. (Fortunately, Kail is reportedly sticking to her guns and contesting Lopez’s custody rights .) After that Lowry hooked up with Dionisio Cephas , and based on their social media interactions, it seems the situation almost developed into a full-blown relationship, but never quite got there. After the awesomely-named Cephas, Kailyn entered a relationship with Dominique Potter, a longtime friend-turned-love interest. Things got serious in a hurry, and Potter even moved to Delaware in order to be closer to Kail. Unfortunately, the cooled off as quickly as it heated up, and it was revealed last month that Kailyn and Dominique have broken up. Throughout all of these ups and downs, one figure remained a constant in Kail’s corner–her longtime friend and outspoken social media supporter Becky Hayter. Now that Lowry is single, a new round of rumors that Kailyn and Becky are dating have begun to make their way across the social media landscape. This is nothing new, and about once a month, TM2 fans become convinced that Lowry and Hayter are more than friends. The big difference this time is that Hayter is addressing the reports herself. “You all need to get more creative with these DM’s,” she recently tweeted. “At least send something funny like a joke or meme. The heart eyes and the “Are you and Kail dating” get old.” Shortly thereafter, Lowry responded: “Obviously we are,” which was enough to get fans who don’t understand sarcasm all worked up. So we guess that’s the final word on the matter. Kailyn and Becky are not interested in one another romantically, and it seems they never will be. The end. Just kidding, we’ll see you back here next week for the next round of “Kail and Becky are totes hooking up” reports. In the meantime, watch Teen Mom 2 online to relive the many ups and downs of Kailyn’s love life. View Slideshow: Kailyn Lowry & Dominique Potter: It’s OVER!
