Pee-Diddy! Hip-Hop Mogul Admits He Wet The Bed As A Kid… [Video]

Take That! Take That! Actually, keep that and wash the sheets while you’re at it. Diddy opened up about his secret childhood shame on a recent visit to the Ellen DeGeneres show to promote his new brand of water, where he claimed Kool-Aid was the culprit for his pee-pee problem. Via DailyMail reports : ‘One thing I want to say is, I grew up as a Kool-Aid kid. I used to pour a half a pound of sugar into the Kool-Aid. Besides it having me bouncing off the walls, I used to be a bed wetter. ‘OK, I guess I’m confessing that I used to be a bed wetter. So I went on this quest to stop wetting the bed, and the first day that I had a sleepover and I didn’t wet the bed, it was, like, one of the greatest days of my life. ‘It gave me the swagger that I have today because I stopped wetting the bed.’ The 43-year-old musician – who has launched his own water brand, AQUAhydrate, with actor Mark Wahlberg – also encouraged children to drink as much H2O as possible to avoid the same red-faced moments he had as a child. He said: ‘There is something about sugar that makes you wet the bed. So to all you boys and girls out there, as Muhammad Ali used to tell you [to] brush your teeth, I’m telling you to drink water, OK? ‘It will stop you from wetting the bed, and you won’t be embarrassed in front of the girls at sleepovers.’ Wait, Diddy was having co-ed sleepovers as a kid? No wonder he grew up to be such a freak. And while we’re on the subject of growing up and rites of passage, hit the flip to see what momentous occasion the Diddster celebrated with his twin daughters D’Lila Star and Jessie James!

Immortal Beloved: Rihanna Tells ELLE She Wants To Make It Last Forever With Breezy “Now That We’re Adults We Can Do This Right!”

We’re not sure anymore whether Rihanna is doing a publicity tour for her album or her relationship with Chris Brown. Her latest meet with the press offers up yet another set of spectacular photographs along with some love crazy quotes about her boo thang Breezy. Here are some excerpts from Rih’s cover interview with ELLE Via NYDailyNews : The Barbadian beauty, 25, opened up in the April issue of Elle UK about how Brown inspired her new single “Stay,” and why she intends to keep him in her life, no matter what anyone else thinks. “‘Stay’ is a story about having love that close and wanting it to last forever,” the “Diamonds” singer explained to the magazine, on newsstand March 6. “You don’t have that feeling with everybody so when you have it you don’t want to let go of it. I would definitely say that he is the one I have that kind of relationship with,” she said of Brown. Though Brown, 23, and Rihanna have had a rocky past, the two rekindled their romance last year. Even with Brown’s recent outbursts, including a spat over a parking lot space with Frank Ocean, Rihanna feels that the two have wiped the slate clean from their violent past. “What we want [is] a great friendship that’s unbreakable,” the star noted. “Now that we’re adults we can do this right. We got a fresh start and I’m thankful for that.” Still, the star isn’t completely insulated from the pressures of fame and the criticism Brown has attracted in the media. She spoke to the magazine about the tattoo of a gun she had inked on her ankle just days after Brown and ex-boyfriend Drake got into a scuffle at a New York City nightclub. “Everybody wanted to know what was happening in my life. Is she a drug addict? No. Is she an alcoholic? No. Is she a victim? No,” the songstress said. “That’s when I got the gun. It was a symbol of strength. I’ll never be a victim.” Being caught up in another controversy isn’t on Rihanna’s long-term agenda. In the not-so-distant future, the singer even hopes to start a family. When asked where she sees herself in five years, Rihanna said she imagines a more maternal role. “I will probably have a kid,” Rihanna said. “And I’ll have to set some things up so I don’t have to tour for the rest of my life, even though I love touring.” Before she starts painting the nursery, Rihanna might want to curtail her habit of putting up sultry photos on social media sites. But it doesn’t look like that will happen anytime soon. “I Instagram everything about my life, whether it’s smoking piff, in a skrip club, reading a Bible verse-how crazy, I know-or hanging with my best friend, who happens to be Chris,” Rihanna said. “I’m posting pictures of myself smoking piff to tell the truth about myself. I’ve got so much to think about, why bring all this extra s— by being dishonest?” she asked. Recent examples of her Instagram habit include what appeared to be a Valentine’s Day bouquet of what looked like kush plants and a shot of her in a skimpy bikini on her 25th birthday. But there’s still someone in Rihanna’s life that can get her to tone down her Instagram snaps: her mother. “I’m not afraid of any person in this world but her. I’m terrified of her!” Rihanna confessed. “She called me two days ago and reeled me in about two nekked pictures [my friend] Melissa put up on Instagram … My mom, she went crazy on me.” “I was, like, embarrassed. I felt like I got my a– whupped in front of my class in school!” Rihanna continued. “She said, ‘This was like a private moment and you’re just parading this around.’ She humbled the f— out of me.” Sounds like Mama still has some work to do though… Just sayin’. Do you think RihRih and Breezy talking so openly about their love is helping them or hurting them in the court of public opinion? We can tell you right now we’ve been getting emails from #TeamBreezy speculating homebody was better off with Karaoke. Then agan those could just could be a few disgruntled fans. Riiiiiiight? Hit the flip for more photos from the magazine.

Skeet-Gate: White House Defends Obama Gun Photo Release, Timing

The White House is still answering for “skeet-gate” and defending the release (and timing) of the photo of President Obama firing a gun in August 2012. With Obama’s much-publicized remarks on gun violence in Minnesota scheduled just days later, many felt the photo release was a cheap stunt. “Why did the White House release the skeet shooting photos three days before this trip?” a reporter asked White House press secretary Jay Carney. Carney said the WH received questions about Obama skeet shooting, “so we decided to tweet a photo of the president shooting at Camp David.” Technically, this is true. President Barack Obama had been asked by the New Republic ‘s Franklin Foer in an interview published on January 27 if he’d ever fired a gun. “Yes, in fact, up at Camp David, we do skeet shooting all the time,” Obama said sending gun rights advocates, the press and the public into a frenzy. The picture was memed all over the Internet, while Obama opponents cried foul and even some supporters shook their heads in bemusement. Carney was asked for photo evidence, but none initially was provided. A Congresswoman asked if she could shoot with him sometime. No response. The main issue is that Obama made the statement while pressing Congress and the public to support gun control measures following the Newtown massacre. Skeet-Gate reeked, to critics, as a PR move. Monday, former senior Obama adviser David Axelrod added to the criticism, saying the White House should have put an end to Skeet-Gate sooner. “They should have put the [ Obama gun photo ] out earlier. I don’t know why they waited five days to put that out,” he said on MSNBC’s Morning Joe . “Because it just rekindled the whole story.” Carney defended the move and stressed Monday that the president’s personal time spent with friends and family at Camp David is not publicized. “I think he has gotten better” at skeet shooting, Carney said, reiterating that our 44th president has never claimed to have grown up “a hunter.”

Hi Hater: Paul “Lyin” Ryan Says Hillary Clinton Would Have Been A Better President Than Barack Obama

This week in NO-Bama news…. Paul Ryan Says Hillary Clinton Would Be A Better President Than Barack Obama Failed 2012 Republican Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan has been running around and running his mouth ever since he and his former side kick Mitt Romney were defeated by newly re-elected President Barack Obama. Ryan has been publicly speaking out against President Obama’s handling of many issues since his campaign days ended, and now he’s even claiming that Obama’s former opponet and current Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would have been the better person for the job. via THG Former Republican V.P. candidate Paul Ryan said Sunday on Meet the Press that the nation’s fiscal crisis would be different right now under Hillary Clinton. “Look, if we had a [Hillary] Clinton presidency, if we had Erskine Bowles as chief of staff … I think we would have fixed this fiscal mess by now,” Ryan said. “[But] that’s not the kind of presidency we’re dealing with right now.” These fools will ride for anybody that isn’t Barry O, they might as well just keep it real and admit that much. And then after that’s out of the way….have several seats…..immediately.

Phil Mickelson Apologizes for California Tax Comments

Phil Mickelson made headlines this week, but not for draining any high-pressured birdie putts or choking away another Major. Instead, on Sunday, the popular golfer stepped into the contentious world of politics , complaining to the press about Proposition 30, the state measure passed last year in California that raises the tax burden on wealthy individuals. Along with federal taxes, Mickelson said he will now be paying nearly 63% of his income in taxes. “I’m not going to jump the gun, but there are going to be some (changes),” Mickelson said a few days ago, hinting at a move out of California. “There are going to be some drastic changes for me because I happen to be in that zone that has been targeted both federally and by the state and… it doesn’t work for me right now.” The comments were mostly met with derision, considering Sports Illustrated listed the golfer as the second-highest paid athlete in 2012, raking in $60 million between PGA tour winnings and endorsements. The public wasn’t thrilled to hear a multi-millionaire whine about his taxes, something Mickelson recognized yesterday in a statement to Fox News: “Finances and taxes are a personal matter and I should not have made my opinions on them public. I certainly don’t have a definitive plan at this time, but like everyone else I want to make decisions that are best for my future and my family.”

Do The Tommy Lee Jones! 5 Top Golden Globe Moments

I can’t say I loved last night’s Golden Globe Awards in their entirety.  There was something unfocused and rather boilerplate about the telecast as a whole, but it did have its memorable moments. Here are my Top Five.  Memo to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association: Pay special attention to Number 2 if you want next year’s awards to be an improvement.  1. Jodie Foster’s speech:  Whether you liked the I’m-coming-out-by-telling-you-that-I’ve-been-out aspect of her speech, or thought that she should have been one of those brave souls — like Ellen DeGeneres   — who battled Hollywood homophobia by taking a stand when there was real career risk involved, Foster gave us a refreshing blast of emotional honesty, as well as and opinions about privacy and career, that we’ll be dissecting for a long time. Her words were a welcome departure from all of the on-message speeches, like Jessica Chastain’s  comparison of Kathryn Bigelow  to her character Maya, and Hugh Jackman’s homage to his wife Deborra-Lee Furness — versions of which they’ve given at other awards ceremonies — that make statuette season unnecessarily repetitive and dull. 2. Amy Poehler and Tina Fey :   If you were keeping tabs on the Twitter-verse during the awards, one of the recurring cries out there was more Amy and Tina. Whoever hosts the Globes tends to disappear toward the middle of the show, and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association should fix that when they beg Poehler and Fey to come back 2014, which they should be doing right this very minute. I was a fan of Ricky Gervais ‘ poke-in-the-eye style, but the ladies got the tone just right. With the exception of their opening  James Cameron joke, they were sharp without being lacerating, and frickin’ funny. (That said, I thought the Cameron joke was the best line of the night.)   Their audience cameos were most welcome, too.  Bring them back and make them a bigger part of the show. Despite a number of memorable moments, last night’s awards suffered from a lack of cohesiveness that Fey and Poehler could have brought to the telecast if they’d just been on camera more. 3. Tommy Lee Jones’ Scowl:   A number of websites credit Jones with the quote, “I do not have a sense of humor of any recognizable sort,” and though his work in Men in Black and other movies suggests otherwise, the actor sure seemed to be in a foul mood at the Globes.  The first time I recognized Jones’ award-winning scowl was when Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig were doing their clueless Garth and Kat-style take on the Best Supporting Actress Nominees for the Musical or Comedy category. (That funny but rather lengthy performance would have clocked in at Number 6 here if this list extended beyond 5.)  If you missed it,  Jones’  can be seen in the clip below while the comedy duo is discussing his co-star Meryl Streep’s performance in Hope Springs , and he looks like he smells a really bad fart. But there could have been other factors at play, too. By that point, Jones had already lost out to Christoph Waltz in the Best Supporting Actor category, and I couldn’t help but notice that he was not at the same table as director Steven Spielberg and his fellow Lincoln co-star Daniel Day-Lewis . Jones was also wearing the same dyspeptic look much later when the camera returned to him later in the telecast.  Whatever the reason for Jones’ malaise, I applaud him for it. His scowl was as honest as his acting and almost as refreshing as Foster’s speech. 4. Ben Affleck’s Argo Wins:   For two reasons:  There’s a lot of good will for Affleck out there and though the Golden Globe win doesn’t make up for him being snubbed by the Academy in the Best Director category, it does ease the pain somewhat for everyone who was rooting for him. More significantly, Argo’s   Best Picture (Drama) win is yet another sign that Spielberg and  Lincoln no longer have a lock on Best Director and Picture Oscars. 5. Bill Clinton’s Appearance on Behalf of Lincoln : I can’t say I was surprised when Clinton showed up.  He and a pre- Sugarland Express (but post- Duel )  Spielberg worked together on George McGovern’s campaign and the director, who orchestrated the deal, according to Deadline , has been a longtime supporter of Clinton. What I loved most about the appearance is the mutual admiration society that exists between William Jefferson and Hollywood. He got a standing ovation from the crowd and one of the night’s big laughs. After noting that the passage of the 13th Amendment required Lincoln to “make a lot of unsavory deals that had nothing to do with the big issue,” the former president added:  “I wouldn’t know anything about that.”  They used to say Bill Clinton was a political rock star. Turns out he’s been a movie star all along. [ Deadline ] Follow Frank DiGiacomo on Twitter.  Follow Movieline on Twitter.
