Helen Thomas: Congress, the White House, and Hollywood, Wall Street, are owned by the Zionists

Oh boy, Helen Thomas can't keep her big mouth shut. She's exercising her God given right to free speech as if it were going to be taken away tomorrow! *** In a speech that drew a standing ovation, Helen Thomas talked about “the whole question of money involved in politics.” “I can call a president of the United States anything in the book, but I can’t touch Israel, which has Jewish-only roads in the West Bank,” Thomas said. “No Americans would tolerate that — white-only roads.” “We are owned by propagandists against the Arabs. There's no question about that. Congress, the White House, and Hollywood, Wall Street, are owned by the Zionists. No question in my opinion. They put their money where there mouth is…We're being pushed into a wrong direction in every way.”… In her speech to about 300 inside a center in Dearborn, Thomas lashed out at the U.S. wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, saying they were built on lies. And she decried bias against Arabs. Who said there are only two acts in American lives? Thomas keeps on going. Here she is in the Detroit Free Press saying that her firing has liberated her to speak the truth about Zionist influence. Apparently she gave a speech in Dearborn, Michigan. John Mearsheimer lately called Dennis Ross an agent for Israel and Thomas calls him a Zionist. Well for god's sake he headed the Jewish People Policy Institute, which is based in Jerusalem. Isn't that a story? This guy is now making our policy? Is Thomas right or is she wrong about Zionist influence? When will the debate really happen? I think the answer is, When Jews come out strongly against Zionism and can show that this is not about Jews, it is about an ideology/mindset/frame that pervades and distorts Jewish life. Of course, the National Chairman of the Jewish-run Anti-Defamation League (ADL), Abraham Foxman is continuing his onging efforts of actually DEFAMING anyone who dares to breach the ultimate taboo. “Helen Thomas has clearly, unequivocally revealed herself as a vulgar anti-Semite,” Foxman said in a statement. “Her suggestion that Zionists control government, finance and Hollywood is nothing less than classic, garden-variety anti-Semitism. This is a sad final chapter to an otherwise illustrious career. Unlike her previous, spontaneous remarks into a camera, these words were carefully thought out and conscious. It shows a prejudice that is deep-seated and obsessive.” added by: maasanova

Yellowcard Return With ‘Awesome’ New Album

When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes marks band’s return since dissolving in 2008. By James Montgomery Yellowcard’s Ryan Key Photo: MTV News Back in 2006, things were starting to go bad for Yellowcard . They had parted ways with longtime guitarist Ben Harper , under less than amicable terms. They were forced to scrap a run of shows when frontman Ryan Key underwent vocal surgery . Lights and Sounds, the ambitious follow-up to their breakout Ocean Avenue album, had tanked, and the band began taking swipes at one another in the press as a result. Things only get worse from there. Their next album — 2007’s Paper Walls stiffed to such a degree that their label, Capitol, refused to continue promoting it — and by the end of 2008, Yellowcard were left without a label and decided to call it quits. So, it may have come as a surprise to their die-hard fans when YC announced that they were re-forming in August, with plans to record a brand-new album, to be released on a brand-new label (Hopeless Records) in March. Though, according to Key, the news really shouldn’t have shocked anybody. After all, despite what you may have thought, Yellowcard never really went away in the first place. “We took a break in ’08, and it just felt like it was time to step back a little bit, and everybody went off and did their thing,” Key told MTV News. “And earlier this year, our drummer, Longineu [Parsons], was the one that kinda started making phone calls, just saying, ‘What do you guys think about maybe getting back together?’ And then all the rest of us started talking and, uh, it just seemed like the right thing to do.” Of course, given their rather rocky history — not just Harper’s departure, but the constantly changing status of long-time (and now former) bassist Pete Mosely — getting the band back together wasn’t as easy as a few phone calls. There were things that needed to be said (and unsaid), and they needed to be done face-to-face. “We definitely sat down with each other and talked about all the things in Yellowcard that had worked and not worked, and what we would need it to be this time around to make it work, and everybody really seemed to be on the same page,” Key explained. “The record is just awesome. … We’re so excited about it, and it was because, I think, we did get some of that stuff worked out and talked about and, you know, you’re friends for 15 years … so there’s stuff that you gotta work out with each other to be able to keep working together.” And though neither Harper nor Mosely are taking part in the 2010 version of Yellowcard, Key is determined to press on with the core of the band — himself, Parsons and violinist Sean Mackin — intact. And as proof, he offers up the title of YC’s new album: When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes a handle he probably couldn’t have thought up back in 2006. “It actually came from a young lady I was trying to, uh, take out for an evening, and she had mentioned that she was kind of seeing someone else, and had to think about it,” he laughed. “I wrote her a text message back that said, ‘When you’re through thinking, say “yes,” ‘ and it just kind of resonated, I guess. As lame as it may be, it’s from a text message.” Related Artists Yellowcard

New Michael Jackson Song ‘Much Too Soon’ Released Online

Melancholy love ballad was recorded during Thriller era. By Gil Kaufman Michael Jackson Photo: Eamonn McCormack/ WireImage Yet another new song from the upcoming first posthumous album from Michael Jackson, Michael, has appeared online, and it should appease fans who feared that the 10-song effort would draw primarily from the singer’s less-fruitful later years. “Much Too Soon” dates back to the late King of Pop’s legendary 1982 Thriller album. Like the melancholy “Hold My Hand,” another song from the album due out on December 14, the latest track is an earnest love ballad. “Much Too Soon” premiered on the iTunes’ social networking site, Ping , on Tuesday (November 30). Singing over a gently picked acoustic guitar and soft, majestic strings, Jackson employs his fragile falsetto to moon about a lover who has left him. The tune mixes a folk feel with touches of classical guitar and a Stevie Wonder-like harmonica break. “She was there just sitting at the table/ Thinking now that things won’t be the same/ And wouldn’t you like to go with me?/ And she answered ‘no’ to me/ But I guess I learned my lesson much too soon,” Jackson sings as subtle choir voices rise behind him. “Take away this never-ending sorrow/ Take this lonely feeling from my soul/ If only I knew what things bring tomorrow/ She’d be sitting here beside me.” At just under three minutes, the melancholy ballad has the intimate feel of a credits track that might roll at the end of a tear-jerker movie, and according to notes on the Ping site, it was always a favorite of Jackson’s. “Michael always liked the song and would pull it back out of the vaults for each subsequent album project but never found the right home for it,” the site revealed. “Here it finds its place as the bittersweet closing to the stellar collection.” The song was written by Jackson and co-produced along with one of the executors of his estate, John McClain. The string sections features famed arranger David Campbell (Adam Lambert, Metallica, My Chemical Romance). “Hold My Hand,” featuring vocals from Akon, is the first official single from the album. Its universal plea for peace features some classic Jackson lyrics delivered over a lilting Caribbean beat. “Much Too Soon” is actually the third tune from Michael to surface in recent weeks, following on the heels of the uptempo “Breaking News.” That never-before-heard track — set to a propulsive, robotic beat and layered with MJ’s signature helium-high vocals — was another in a series of songs Jackson penned lashing out at the intrusive media. Mila Kunis Bans Her Dad From ‘Black Swan’ Sex Scenes

‘I don’t think any dad should see,’ she tells MTV News. ‘It’s just not necessary.’ By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Mila Kunis Photo: MTV News It seems the only thing anyone can talk about when it comes to “Black Swan” is the much-hyped sex scene between Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis. Even Kunis and her dad found themselves discussing the nitty-gritty details. Their conversation amounted to this: Mr. Kunis was banned from watching the scenes in question. “He was like, ‘I don’t think I should see the movie,’ ” Kunis told MTV News. “I was like, ‘See the movie. There’s going to be a point; get up and leave.’ ” And so that’s exactly what happened. When the no-holds-barred sex session came up — a scene Portman previously told us was “not explicit in any way,” but which is undeniably steamy — Kunis gave her dad the signal, and off he went. “I don’t think any dad should see. It’s just not necessary,” she explained. While Kunis avoided some familial awkwardness in that situation, she’s found it more than a little uncomfortable to constantly discuss the sex scene with the press. “Doing [the scene], you never judge your character, so you always have justification for it,” the 27-year-old said. “When you do it, it makes sense while you’re doing it. You don’t feel like it’s you doing it.” She added, “The more I talk about it, the more I have to think about it. We never discussed it. It was like the pink elephant in the room that was never touched upon until it was the day to shoot. Then we just did it really quickly and called it a day.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Black Swan.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Swiss voters ‘back expulsion of foreign criminals’

The Swiss get it. Unlike the rest of Europe. That's because it is a genuine democracy and not run by hardcore Marxist multiculturalists. Swiss voters have accepted a referendum proposal for the automatic expulsion of non-Swiss citizens for certain crimes, an exit poll suggests. Some 53% agreed that those convicted of crimes ranging from murder to benefit fraud should be deported, the poll for state broadcaster SF1 said. The Swiss People's Party, which drew up the measure, said immigrants “should respect the rules of this country”. But opponents said it was another example of increasing xenophobia. The right-wing Swiss People's Party (SVP), was behind last year's referendum that imposed a ban on the building of Islamic minarets. That decision was condemned by human rights groups and foreign governments. The SVP says immigrants to Switzerland are disproportionately responsible for crime. It points to the fact that more than 60% of prison inmates do not have Swiss nationality. But opponents say the measures go too far. The children of immigrants do not automatically get Swiss citizenship, so the rule would mean sending some people who were born and brought up in Switzerland to countries they know nothing of. Convicts would serve their sentence in Switzerland first and then be deported without appeal. The Swiss government believes mandatory deportation could violate Switzerland's obligations under international law not to send people to countries that practise torture or execution. It advised voters to reject the proposal, and it put forward an alternative system which would allow deportation for certain crimes, but which would assess cases individually. The exit poll suggested that had been defeated. added by: crystalman

Researchers find a ‘liberal gene’

Liberals may owe their political outlook partly to their genetic make-up, according to new research from the University of California, San Diego, and Harvard University. Ideology is affected not just by social factors, but also by a dopamine receptor gene called DRD4. The study's authors say this is the first research to identify a specific gene that predisposes people to certain political views. Appearing in the latest edition of The Journal of Politics published by Cambridge University Press, the research focused on 2,000 subjects from The National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health. By matching genetic information with maps of the subjects' social networks, the researchers were able to show that people with a specific variant of the DRD4 gene were more likely to be liberal as adults, but only if they had an active social life in adolescence. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter affecting brain processes that control movement, emotional response, and ability to experience pleasure and pain. Previous research has identified a connection between a variant of this gene and novelty-seeking behavior, and this behavior has previously been associated with personality traits related to political liberalism. Lead researcher James H. Fowler of UC San Diego and his colleagues hypothesized that people with the novelty-seeking gene variant would be more interested in learning about their friends' points of view. As a consequence, people with this genetic predisposition who have a greater-than-average number of friends would be exposed to a wider variety of social norms and lifestyles, which might make them more liberal than average. They reported that “it is the crucial interaction of two factors — the genetic predisposition and the environmental condition of having many friends in adolescence — that is associated with being more liberal.” The research team also showed that this held true independent of ethnicity, culture, sex or age. Fowler concludes that the social and institutional environment cannot entirely explain a person's political attitudes and beliefs and that the role of genes must be taken into account. “These findings suggest that political affiliation is not based solely on the kind of social environment people experience,” said Fowler, professor of political science and medical genetics at UC San Diego. “It is our hope that more scholars will begin to explore the potential interaction of biology and environment,” he said. “The way forward is to look for replication in different populations and age groups.” added by: Vierotchka

David Gregory to Hillary Clinton: Might GOP Hurt U.S. Prestige and Obama on World Stage

David Gregory is clearly concerned that if Republicans don't vote in favor of the START treaty with Russia, President Obama's international image, as well as American prestige abroad, will be damaged. Propaganda Alert: AP reports Small Farms are Exempt from Food Safety Bill

A day after the Food Safety Modernization Act (S.510) passed cloture with a vote of 74-25, theAssociated Press put out some world-class propaganda claiming that “Somesmall farms would be exempt from government efforts to prevent foodborne illness under a Senate agreement on food safety legislation.” The article claims a last-minute deal was struck to allow small farms to “avoid expensive food safety plans:” The agreement brokered by Democratic Sen. Jon Tester of Montana and announced Thursday would attempt to allay concerns of smaller farms about a food safety bill now pending in the Senate. That bill would give the FDA more authority to recall tainted products, increase inspections of food processors and require producers to follow stricter standards for keeping food safe. The agreement brokered by Tester would allow farmers who make less than $500,000 a year in revenue and sell directly to consumers, restaurants or grocery stores within their states or within 275 miles of their farms to avoid expensive food safety plans required of larger operations. That all sounds well and good, but it only exempts them from having to submit food safety plans, not from inspections that they get billed for, licensing requirements with expensive quality controls, product confiscation without cause or recourse, and even armed raids. We've already seen all of these ugly faces of food fascism unfold in America. Private organic co-ops have beenraided by armed guards, lemonade standsfined and closed down, Amish Dairies raided, and a family farm had 50,000 pounds of cheese confiscated. This type of food tyranny is only likely to increase when the food safety bill passes, seizing the righteousness of protecting the people. Evidently, the bill essentially transfers the authority over food regulation enforcement from the FDA to the Department of Homeland Securitywho brought us the liberty-killing, child-molesting TSA. Finally, this bill will do nothing to protect the public from foodborne diseases, because it does nothing to fundamentally change the factory food production methods that allow them to fester. The bill will allow the big agri-cartel to further consolidate the food industry, thus gaining even more control over food and humanity itself. This, clearly, is the real purpose of this bill. We can expect to see the “authorities” raiding a lot more small, private health-food cooperatives like in the video below. Tyranny is coming to a family farm or organic co-op near you. added by: GLOBALPOLITICAL
