Are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie really headed down the altar soon? That’s what could be expected, given Pitt’s recent comments about the pressure to – and his desire to – propose, but according to Jolie, that’s premature. “I think anything said tends to be blown out of proportion,” Jolie told People Sunday night at the SAG Awards , when asked about “a lot of ring-talk lately.” “Yeah, that was my fault,” Pitt admitted with a smile. Guess we know who wears the pants in that house. The speculation about wedding bells in the near future for the famous couple stem from Pitt’s remark that Brangelina is “getting a lot of pressure from the kids.” “It means something to them,” he continued, adding that he would like to marry Angelina, and that “We will [get married] someday, we will. It’s a great idea.” “‘Please, get mommy a ring.’ ‘OK, I will, I will.’ ” “It seems to mean more and more to our kids,” he said. “I don’t think we’ll be able to hold out … it means something to me, to make that kind of commitment.” Probably not until Angelina demands it, however. Nancy Grace likely jived her way off Dancing With the Stars last night. Already a huge underdog to make it beyond the top five, the pressure started to get to her early on “Are you actually acting tired?” she snapped at Tristan MacManus. “You don’t have twins that get up at 5, you don’t have a full-time job and I do!” MacManus’ reply: “I’m tired of you.” “I’m tired of you, too! So there!” she retorted. They were mostly jokinh, but that still set the tone for their instant jive, which you can see below. Nancy clearly doesn’t have enough left in the tank at this point: Nancy Grace on Dancing With the Stars (Week 8 – Jive) The pair failed to impress the judges, who awarded a mere 20 out of 30 points. There have been worse routines, but that was far below the rest of the Dancing With the Stars scores Monday. Earlier in the night, they earned 24 for their tango. Follow the jump to watch that routine: Nancy Grace on Dancing With the Stars (Week 8 – Tango)
Ashley “The Face” Tisdale is one of the least attractive faces in Hollywood, but she counter balances that disgusting with a little botched plastic surgery and a lot of working out, making her have this tight body that I’m much more used to seeing in work out clothes than attending events, because I guess being “The Face” makes it hard to leave the house and mingle with other beautiful people, because you know they’re just looking in disgust, judging internally, all while feeling sorry for you and only taking the time to talk to you because it’s like make a wish foundation or charity function and they’d feel subhuman if they didn’t talk to the face that would be fine in everyday life, but that chose to go hollywood, despite all the pressure to be hot…..but then again maybe I’m looking into this too much….here she is at the Footloose The Next Generation premiere, because Hollywood has no originality….I wonder if she’s playing Kevin Bacon’s part?! Everybody Footloose.
Actress tells MTV News she saw people reading book all over London during filming. By Terri Schwartz, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Jim Sturgess and Anne Hathaway in “One Day” Photo: Giles Keyte Anne Hathaway knows you have your doubts about her, but she’s ready to impress you with “One Day.” The actress is no stranger to adapting well-loved literature to the big screen, having starred in “The Princess Diaries” and “Brokeback Mountain.” But having to speak in an English accent and co-helm a romance novel that fans were so protective of certainly put the pressure on when she was filming “One Day.” Fortunately, the response from fans has been positive so far. MTV News caught up with Hathaway and her co-star Jim Sturgess recently, and “The Dark Knight Rises” actress said that people have received her performance in the flick positively. “I’ve had people come up to me who have seen it actually and they say, ‘I didn’t think you could pull it off.’ And people feel inclined to tell me that they really had no faith in me whatsoever,” she said with a laugh. “So far, it’s ended with a, ‘But you surprised me, and I really enjoyed your performance.’ But I’m just waiting for that person to come up and say, ‘Well I knew you couldn’t do it.’ ” She added that the pressure was amplified by the fact that when she and Sturgess were filming in London, Hathaway saw people all across the city reading the book. The cover of the novel’s U.K. edition is orange, and Hathaway said it would freak her out to see “One Day” so prominently featured in every bookstore she walked into. “At night, it kind of lights the streets of London,” Sturgess joked. People who want to walk into “One Day” spoiler-free might not be too psyched to hear that both Hathaway and Sturgess say they prefer “ill-fated, tear-inducing” romantic films as opposed to ones that end happily ever after. That news certainly doesn’t bode well for the love story between their onscreen characters. While Sturgess said he feels that way because he’s “just cynical,” Hathaway explained that she feels tragic romantic stories stay with a person longer. “If something’s happily ever after, yay, you’re happy for them, but what else do you feel about it? When something rips your guts out, you’re more inclined to remember it,” she explained. The autopsy results are in and the coroner has made it official: Russell Armstrong died by “hanging and the final manner of death is suicide.” But why? Why did the estranged husband of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong take his own life ? It’s a question that will never have an answer, but two theories have emerged: 1. Money problems . Russell was facing a $1.5 million lawsuit, had no assets to his name and told People weeks before his death: “It got really overwhelming. When you get a TV show involved and all the pressure, it just takes it to a whole new level.” 2. A tell-all book was reportedly on the way, according to Radar Online, that would have exposed Russell as a bisexual . “There were people on the record that were going to talk about the kind of sex he liked,” a source said . “He was into S&M type stuff; choking, rough-housing and slapping.” We hate to gossip in such a manner about the dead, but at times like this, it’s hard not to wonder. Bravo, meanwhile, might delay the premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as it considers all options in dealing with this tragedy.

Here#39;s some pics of reality star (The Hills) Stephanie Pratt in Hawaii on Tuesday. In 1958 Hawaii wasn#39;t a state, and then in 1959 it was. And that#39;s literally the most interesting thing I can say about Stephanie and these pictures. Thanks MTV! Pratt is the younger sister of Spencer Pratt, and the sister-in-law of Heidi Montag (both of whom are on The Hills.) She has struggled with bulimia in the past due to the pressure to be thin stemming from appearing alongside very thin co-stars o

Star opens up about eating disorder while teaming up with Seventeen to help others. By James Dinh Demi Lovato Photo: Hearst Communications/The Jed Foundation After her sudden exit from her tour with the Jonas Brothers and a three-month stay at a treatment center , Demi Lovato is looking to use her own personal struggles to help other troubled teens. Earlier this week, she announced she was teaming up with Jed Foundation’s Love Is Louder Than the Pressure to Be Perfect campaign and Seventeen magazine, and in a PSA for the campaign released Thursday (April 14), the 18-year-old singer/actress opens up about the movement and advises others where they should turn to when feeling burdened. “There’s a ton of pressure out there to meet impossible standards,” Lovato says sitting before a white backdrop. “To look right, be smart, be thin, talented and popular. And many of us feel like we have to be everything to everyone, but it doesn’t have to be that way. When the pressure to be perfect is overwhelming, find an outlet. I love to paint, but there are also other ways to relieve that pressure. You can sing, dance, act, draw, shoot photos, write or run.” Lovato, who admitted in the upcoming issue of Seventeen that she does in fact struggle with an eating disorder, explains in the video that there are many people who deal with the same issues and advises fans to spread the Love Is Louder message. “If you’re going through a dark period, remember that you’re not alone,” she continues. “You can get help and you can feel better, so join me in spreading this message by snapping a photo of yourself with the message love is louder and the pressure to be perfect.” Courtney Knowles, executive director of the Jed Foundation, spoke to MTV News about why he believed the teen star was the perfect candidate to represent the Love Is Louder movement. (MTV teamed up with the Jed Foundation and actress Brittany Snow last fall to launch Love Is Louder in response to teen suicides connected to bullying.) “I think her story really resonates with a lot of girls. I think it already did,” Knowles said. “There had been a lot of speculation about what she had been through and … the fact that she’s so brave, that she’s willing to talk about these sensitive issues openly is really important, because part of the problem is so many teenagers don’t want to seem like they’re failing at anything, so they don’t talk about this. And without addressing the problem, you can never feel better.” As for whether Lovato will participate in any future Love Is Louder campaigning, Knowles revealed that the he and her team are still working out the details. “We don’t have a specific schedule yet, but she certainly is onboard to spread the message and for it to reach more teenage girls and young women,” he said. Lovato is also serving as a contributing editor for Seventeen, where she’s expected to write bi-monthly posts on Seventeen.com and contribute to the magazine’s coverage of issues facing teen girls. Knowles told MTV News that Lovato and Seventeen approached the organization about teaming up to create “something bigger than just the story.” In the May issue of the mag, which hits news stands April 19, the Disney starlet opened up about her battle with an eating disorder and what she’s learned since her days leaving treatment. Asked whether she ever felt pressure to pick up old habits, the star admitted “there have been times” when she was tempted to get rid of her dinner. “But I will deal with it for the rest of my life because it’s a life-long disease,” said the teen star. “I don’t think there’s going to be a day when I don’t think about food or my body, but I’m living with it, and I wish I could tell young girls to find their safe place and stay with it.” Since leaving treatment for “emotional and physical issues” in late January, Lovato confessed that she has given herself “a lot of freedom.” “I have come to realize that just making yourself happy is most important,” she continued. “Never be ashamed of what you feel. You have the right to feel any emotion that you want, and to do what makes you happy. That’s my life motto.” Related Artists Demi Lovato
