This is probably an old pic of Emily Ratajkowski from before I made her famous, but who cares? Any picture of this hottie in a bikini is worth posting as far as I’m concerned. Anyway, I know she’s a big-name model these days and Esquire ‘s Woman of the Year and all, but I’d still love to check out that price tag she’s got on her here. When it comes to Emily, I’ve always wondered how much. It’s just my own damn fault for helping put her out of my price range.
Congratulations are in order for Hampton University. Hampton University Alum Donates $1 Million To The School A Hampton University alum who passed away earlier this year has left a hearty monetary donation behind for the school to the tune of $1 million. via Hampton University Website The Hampton University School of Nursing (HUSON) was recently awarded a $1 million gift, donated by HU Alumna Dr. Lois Price Spratlen’54 who passed away in March. Spratlen earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from HU. The funding is to establish The Lois Price Spratlen Endowed Chair (LPSEC) within the school, and the selected professor will focus on mental and community health research. Upon the appointment, the first of its kind at the HUSON, the LPSEC will help to ensure the future of the mental and community health research focus at HU, as the school seeks to grow its profile and impact regionally and nationally, officials said. “This opportunity is momentous,” said HU SON Dean Deborah Jones. “It affords us the opportunity to expand our research projects to include mental, and community health research. This funding is also the impetus for our department broadening our reach and training students who can serve in the mental health community.” What a grand gesture for this man to share such a large gift with his alma mater! Well, he can afford it. Multimillionaire Fined $130,000 For Speeding Because He Is Rich $130,000….how fast was he going? According to The NY Daily News A Swedish multimillionaire has been fined $130,000 for speeding — because he is so rich. Businessman Anders Wiklof was busted doing 77 kilometers per hour in a 50 kilometers per hour zone — or about 48 mph in a 30 mph zone — when driving in neighboring Scandinavian nation Finland’s islands of Aland. Had he been caught in Sweden, he would have faced a $615 penalty. But fines in Finland are issued based on the driver’s wealth – and with Wiklof having so much cash, he was hit with the much heftier fee. The 67-year-old accepted he was “in the wrong” for breaking the speed limit. But he claimed the fine was “unreasonable.” “I’d rather put that money on the elderly, health, day care or whatever,” he told Ålandstidningen. “I have only myself to blame, but one can question whether it is fair. There should be a ceiling, it’d be more fair. Where to put it I do not know, but as it is now, it’s unreasonable.” Wiklof, one of the most influential and rich people in Aland, made his fortune as the owner of a holding company. If the price of a ticket was tied to wealth in America—the majority of tickets would be cheap because 99 percent of America isn’t ballin’ while the one percent lives like kings. Shutterstock
What a horrible thing to do to a human being. Woman Cooks Man For Dinner This is one cold-blooded woman. According to The NY Daily News If there is one lesson to be learned from the death of John Price, it’s that you should never trust a hot-tempered woman whose prize possession is a set of butcher knives. Price learned this lesson on Feb. 29, 2000, a day before police in the tiny Australian town of Aberdeen — known primarily for its slaughterhouses — found his head in a warm pot, stewed with potatoes, cabbage, and zucchini. Dangling from a nail in an archway, like a Halloween costume, was Price’s skin, which had been so skillfully removed from his body that only a few shards of flesh were missing from the toes, fingertips and chest. The skinless torso, arms and legs, were on the floor. Before leaving work on Feb. 29, 2000, he told friends that if he was not at work the next morning, it was probably because Knight had murdered him. He failed to show up. Police found his corpse — skinned, beheaded and partially roasted — later that day. The evening before, Knight had entered his house, put on a sexy new black negligee, and lured him to bed. After sex, he drifted off to sleep and she got out her knives. She was still at the crime scene, zonked, when police arrived. Knight pled guilty to murder and was sent to prison for life, without hope of parole, the first Australian woman to earn such a punishment. In 2006, she appealed, saying the sentence was too harsh. The judge did not see it that way. “This was an appalling crime, almost beyond contemplation in a civilized society,” he wrote. For the sake of her family, friends and anyone who might come in contact with her when she was angry and had access to a knife, he decided to keep her behind bars. Why not just leave him? She didn’t have to cook him. Cotdayum.
