Bill O’Reilly: Jennifer Aniston Sends a Bad Message, is Destructive to Society!

Bill O’Reilly. You have to give the Fox News host credit for speaking his mind, and not everything that comes out of his mouth is outrageous, but sometimes … come on man. His newest target is Jennifer Aniston. The actress, famously lonely pathetic haggard miserable single at 41, recently said she doesn’t need a man to have children. “Women are realizing it more and more, knowing that they don’t have to settle with a man just to have that child,” she said at a press conference for The Switch . “Times have changed and we do have so many options these days, as opposed to our parents’ days when you can’t have children because you waited too long.” Bill takes serious exception to Jen’s point. Personally, we didn’t interpret that as a call for premarital, unprotected sex and single-parent child-rearing, but some people over at Fox News Channel did. “She’s throwing the message out to 12- and 13-year-olds, ‘Hey you don’t need a guy. You don’t need a dad.,’ O’Reilly said. “That is destructive to our society.” Really, Bill? Teens are going to have sex and raise kids without a man’s help because Jennifer Aniston says it’s easier these days than in generations past? Apparently. Fox’s Gretchen Carlson said, “She is glamorizing single parenthood.” In The Switch , Aniston plays Kassie, a single woman seeking a sperm donor. An adult who made a conscious choice to raise a child alone, and likely thought about the consequences first … a little different than what Bill’s implying right? You tell us: Is she sending a bad message or should Bill lay off?

Kate Middleton and Prince William: A Ruined Romance or A Wedding on the Way?

Kate Middleton and Prince William have either set a date for their wedding… … or called it quits due to a lack of one. It all depends on which tabloid story one believes, as two of the nation’s most ridiculous, least reliable publications have come out with opposing reports this week. See for yourself: On one hand, it makes sense for Middleton to “cozy up to [William’s] best friend’s brother,” as teased above; she’s allegedly angry at him for continually cheating over the years . Then again, the couple reportedly stands to inherit $20 billion if they tie the knot. Could they really turn such a sum down? Of course, these reports are all based on tabloid tales that quote anonymous sources; change facts more often than Bachelor contestants call off engagements; and capitalize whatever headlines will sell the most copies each week. Without an Royal engagement even announced, just click on the pics below to see what nonsense various rags have claimed about Middleton and William over the last few months:

WaPo Highlights ‘Local Opinion’ Politicizing Nun’s Death in Favor of ‘Comprehensive Immigration Reform’

The Washington Post has an opinion blog entitled “All Opinions Are Local.” Print edition editors regularly pick from the blog to excerpt a post to the editorial page under the heading “Local Opinions.” Today’s entry, “Stop the torrent of hate after a deadly drunk-driving crash,” was filed by one Simone Campbell of Washington, whom the Post noted “is executive director of Network, a Catholic social justice advocacy group.” The online edition bears a much blander headline, “A proper tribute to Sister Denise,” referring to Denise Mosier, the nun who was killed in a Sunday car crash by repeat DUI offender and illegal immigrant Carlos Martinelly-Montano. In her 3-paragraph piece, Campbell essentially lumped xenophobes and racists in with conservative critics of law immigration enforcement, slamming “hate speech” on “The Post’s online comments section” and insisting that Martinelly-Montano’s immigration status did not cause “this tragedy.” Campbell then promptly proceeded to politicize Mosier’s death by arguing that “comprehensive immigration reform” would “be a proper tribute to Sister Denise’s memory.” The Post did not note that Campbell’s group Network supports a “Realistic path to earned legalization for people in the U.S. without status,” in other words, amnesty to immigrants in the United States illegally.  What’s more, by publishing Campbell’s mini-screed, the paper passed over a more measured, conservative post by Paige Winfield Cunningham of the blog Old Dominion Watchdog.  In her 8-paragraph August 4 post, “The human cost of immigration dysfunction,”   Cunningham cautioned against politicizing a tragedy, but noted that doesn’t excuse ignoring the policy implications of lax immigration enforcement: Victims exist on both sides of every issue. They’re easy to find on the left side of the immigration debate — for example, the children of illegal immigrants whose parents constantly fear deportation and struggle to create a life better than the one they left behind. On the other side of the debate, victimization is often expressed in large numbers that fail to communicate individual suffering — like how health-care services funded by taxpaying citizens are strained by millions who don’t pay. But this week, a tragic accident involving three Benedictine sisters from Richmond offered the right a story of how deportation gridlock hurts real people. One of the nuns was killed and two were left in critical condition after their vehicle collided with a car driven by 23-year-old Carlos A. Martinelly-Montano, an apparently illegal immigrant who was charged in the accident with DUI for the third time. It’s ironic that the crash occurred in Prince William — the county known as the toughest in the state on immigration. Prince William has been something of a microcosm of the larger debate since it enacted a policy in 2008 requiring officers to check immigration status upon arrest. In the first full year of the policy, 13 percent of arrests for DUI were suspected illegal immigrants, according to the 2009 Prince William County Police Report . Illegal immigrants also constituted 10 percent of drivers without licenses and 9.4 percent of drivers in hit-and-run accidents. The Benedictine Sisters have warned against using Monday’s accident for political gain, saying they “are dismayed and saddened that this tragedy has been politicized and become an apparent forum for the illegal immigration agenda.” But these three nuns, and the victims of other such accidents, shouldn’t be ignored. Space considerations may have factored into the Post not running Cunningham’s item in full, but it could have posted an excerpt lengthy enough for print but just enough to tease readers to check out the Post website. Instead, Post editors opted to run an editorial by a professional left-wing activist over a local political blogger.  It’s not surprising given the Post’s editorial bent, perhaps, but it is a disservice to print edition readers given the marked contrast between Campbell’s simplistic, boilerplate screed and Cunningham’s measured tone, which is the furthest thing possible from Campbell’s straw man of pseudonymed blog commenters venting their spleens with anti-immigrant hate.

A Royal Mess: Prince William Cheated on Kate Middleton!

Forget the Royal Wedding of the Century . We may be looking at an all-time royal mess. Despite engagement rumors floating over her head, Kate Middleton is reportedly considering an end to her relationship with Prince William. The reason? A four-year old photo that proves he cheated on her with British singer Natasha Hamilton. It’s unclear why this picture, which was published in tabloids at the time, is causing a stir now – but insiders say it’s due to Kate’s realization that William has been “disrespectful” to her for a long time, and will continue to be even if they get married. “Kate is now being warned by royal courtiers that she must be prepared for William to follow in his philandering father’s footsteps and take a mistress,” a source told The National Enquirer . The tabloid even quotes one of the Queen’s advisors, who allegedly said to Middleton: “It won’t be IF he does, my dear. It will be WHEN he does – and then you must simply turn a blind eye.” Kate felt “physically ill” at this possibility, the source reports, causing her to rethink the wedding. We have no idea why. According to Mel Gibson, a woman’s place is on her knees , not on some high horse. Give William a break, girlfriend!

Robert Pattinson Related To Real Dracula, Vlad The Impaler

‘Twilight’ star reportedly shares ancestry with Transylvanian leader on whom Bram Stoker’s ‘Dracula’ is believed to be based. By Gil Kaufman Robert Pattinson So that’s why he’s so believable! Just in time for the launch of “Eclipse,” genealogy researchers have unearthed evidence that the most famous fictional vampire of our time, Robert Pattinson, is related to the most famous vampire of all time, Vlad the Implaer. According to The Associated Press , researchers at Ancestry.co.uk have revealed that the 24-year-old “Twilight” hunk has ties to Vlad III Dracula, a.k.a. Vlad the Impaler, the Transylvanian leader widely thought to be the inspiration for the main character in Bram Stoker’s legendary 1897 novel “Dracula.” The tie between Pattinson and Vlad apparently comes via their common relationship to the British royal family. England’s Prince William and Prince Harry are Pattinson’s distant cousins and Vlad the Impaler was their distant uncle. Vlad was born in Transylvania and ruled over the region now known as Romania (then called Wallachia) from 1456 to 1462. Known as “the Impaler,” Vlad was famous for executing his enemies by driving wooden stakes into their bodies. “Tracing Pattinson’s family back to Vlad was difficult research, but the pieces that unraveled created the perfect accompaniment to the ‘Twilight Saga,’ ” said Anastasia Tyler, a genealogist at Ancestry.com. “Without any myth or magic, we find royalty and vampires lurking in Pattinson’s life — making his story just as supernatural as the one he’s playing on screen.” And, in a connection only a publicist could dream of, the folks at Ancestry.com say that “Twilight” series author Stephenie Meyer also has ties to the British princes’ lineage, which means that, yes, she too is related to Dracula. Coincidentally, “Eclipse” opens Wednesday, June 30.
