He showed up at Magic City with a custom Lambo down with a matching ride close by and brought out his artist Blac Youngsta to perform his hot new song, “Heavy,” while his other artist Snootie Wild showed support. TI, Goodie Mob’s Big Gipp, Travis Scott, Jason Geter, DJ Sense, Trae the Truth, Shy Glizzy and more took in the festivities. Other highlights: Rolled cigars, a salmon luncheon, painted girls, and did we say girls galore… it was magic!! Are you ready for Monica’s new album??? Monica Previews Her ‘Code Red’ Album Monica is back and in a big way! The talented ATL beauty revealed nearly a dozen tracks from her upcoming Fall 2015 RCA records release ‘Code Red’ at an intimate listening session held at Patchwerk Studio in Atlanta. A select group of Atlanta tastemakers and media were treated to tracks from her new album, which was executive produced by Monica’s accomplished cousin Polow Da Don who was also in attendance. Guests noshed on light bites and cocktails sponsored by Avion Tequila while listening to the new “Opera Noir” sound Monica says Polow and Timbaland crafted especially for her latest project. Husband Shannon Brown stood nearby to support his wife as she told guests how great it is to be able to talk about being in love while in it. Among Bossip’s favorite tracks are “Code Red” which features Missy Elliott (and Mo’s young daughter Laiyah), a duet with Timbaland titled “Love Just Ain’t Enough,” the extremely catchy “All Men Lie” and the Akon assisted “Hustler’s Ambition.” While the uptempo tracks had the studio audience nodding along, Monica still showcased powerhouse vocals on several ballads including “Ocean of Tears,” “Anchor” and “I Miss Music.” Producers in addition to Tim and Polow include Hard Work, Danja, Pop&Oak and newcomer J’Ozzy. Via Mirror UK reports : ISIS claim that rape is part of their twisted interpretation of Islam, according to the testimony of children they have abducted and forced into sexual slavery. The Yazidis are a religious minority in Syria and Iraq and are oppressed and terrorised by the terror group- a total of 5,270 Yazidis were abducted last year, and more than 3,000 are still in their grip, according to figures within the community. A 12-year-old girl who escaped the group told the New York Times that the man who abused her explained to her that the sickening act he was about to commit was not a sin because she was not Muslim. In fact, he claimed her faith not only gave him the right to rape her – but encouraged it. After tying her up and gagging her bound her, he knelt beside the bed and prayed. Afterwards, he prayed again. The girl, who was interviewed in a refugee camp, said: “I kept telling him it hurts – please stop. “He told me that according to Islam he is allowed to rape an unbeliever. He said that by raping me, he is drawing closer to God.” Zainab Bangura, the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General on Sexual Violence in Conflict, say sexual violence in the lands controlled by ISIS is widespread and used as a weapon of terror. “Girls are literally being stripped naked and examined in slave bazaars,” she said, describing how they were “categorized and shipped naked off to Dohuk or Mosul or other locations to be distributed among ISIL leadership and fighters.” These stories are absolutely heartbreaking.
