Trigga Trey set the Internet on fire today when he posted a photo of a baby foot with a blue heart emoji, sending fans into a frenzy and leaving “congrats” in the comments section. Trey has yet to confirm the news, but he did post a photo on his Instastories of the baby on his bare chest, an act fathers are encourage to do after birth to bond with their baby. Source: Prince Williams / Getty Tonight’s episode of Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta starts with the reminder of Rasheeda and Kirk’s couples retreat. This was after the point that Sierra revealed that she cheated on BK… after she was mad at BK for an alleged (as per Karlie) inappropriate conversation with Pooh. BK is pissed and pulls his hood over his face because he doesn’t want to look at her. He’s irritated that Sierra has been looking like “the perfect person” this entire time while he has been looking like a dog. Then Sierra, in her confessional, says they both cheated on each other, then BK cheated again so they need to keep their distance for the rest of the trip. Kirk and Rasheeda give them some advice then move on to Joc, his girl, Kendra, and all the stuff Karlie was saying about messing around with Joc. Karlie immediately starts getting defensive and Kendra ain’t with it. Kendra threatens to dog walk Karlie but that can’t happen because security got them on lock. Once everything calms down the group, mainly Bambi and Rasheeda, attempts to talk to Karlie about playing carrier pigeon and starting drama. Karlie gets defensive and this goes nowhere but everyone thinks she’s trippin, which she is. Rasheeda, understanding that Karlie Redd is going through some things (miscarriage and breakup), goes to talk to Karlie for some one on one time and to give her more advice, which is that a relationship comes with love, trust, and forgiveness. They hug it out then we head back to the city. Mimi meets Pooh for a kiki because she feels like she’s caught in the middle of Karlie and Pooh’s drama since their circle of friends go back about 10 years. Mimi calls Pooh out for what she had Che Mack do at the engagement party. Pooh basically said she was mad that Karlie didn’t invite her to the party. Yeah, she’s a bird. She also tells Mimi that she doesn’t mind talking to Karlie and trying to find a resolution and she doesn’t want the other girls to misunderstand her, so she’s going to throw a cocktail party and everyone’s invited. Yeah, that’s going to go well. On the final day of the retreat at the cabin, Rasheeda has them doing the same exercise that keeps popping up during various Love and Hip-Hop group trips lately, across the franchise. Basically, they write a message on a paper boat and then sail away. The message is supposed to be something they want to let go. Everyone gets off what they need to get off and they feel like they lifted a load off. And Mo even finds Karlie again and they make up. The engagement is back on Back in Atlanta, We find Tokyo Vanity performing at what Spice calls “one of the biggest shows in Atlanta.” Spice and Tokyo are buddy-buddy now so Spice is there supporting her girl. Che Mack is also there, chilling. Then Akbar V comes through and tells Che she feels some type of way about all these girls coming to Atlanta when she’s actually from there. Basically, trying to create beef out of nothing…but really for camera time. Anyway, she performs later on and starts trash talking on the mic about how “everybody comes to Atlanta tryna get on” then she starts rapping about how real she is and lowkey insults the other transplant rappers around her (aka taping the show). This is obviously aimed at Obviously Tokyo Vanity feels some type of way so she grabs a mic and tells her to put a name on it. Akbar V says Tokyo don’t want no smoke. But you know she does. They attempt to fight but security gets them together until Spice, who is watching this all goes down in the cut, stealthily kicks off her Louboutins, hurdles over a couch and sprints toward Akbar V in an attempt to deliver Yardie fade. But security. You already know they were not going to let that happen. So much for Akbar V “changing.” Anyway, let’s fast forward a bit. So, Pooh felt she was wrong about what she did to Karlie Redd at her engagement party. She also doesn’t want the other women to get the wrong idea of her so she decided to have a cocktail party. Because these types of things always go well. Anyway, it ends with Karlie Redd and Pooh trying to kill each other again, with Pooh once again talking about how Karlie licked her butt and she says Karlie owes her $750. Security doesn’t let them fight and that’s that. Next week we’ll have a Che Mack’s baby-daddy-cheating-scandal to look forward to. It’s been less than a week since Meghan Markle welcomed her first child , but already, little Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor has stirred up a controversy as big as his nine-syllable name. First, there’s the name itself, which many are interpreting as Meghan and Harry’s way of giving the middle finger to their British haters . And then there’s the fact that a crucial honorific seems to be missing from the little bloke’s lengthy moniker. Yes, as you may have noticed, there’s no “prince” in front of little Archie’s name. If, like us, you’re some sort of ignorant American rube, you may have assumed that such titles are simply a matter of heredity — Harry was a prince, so it stands to reason that his son would be as well. But it turns out there are no hard-and-fast rules for this sort of thing. There are several reasons why Lil Arch might be forced to go through life with a regular-ass peasant name, and even though we may never know the truth, pundits peddling their wares in the age of hot takes are very pissed off about two of the possibilities. For starters, it’s possible that the Queen denied Archie a title due to his American parentage. Of course, even the people who proposed that possibility have mostly acknowledged that it would be wildly out of character for QE2. Which is perhaps how we wound up with the theory that it’s all Prince William’s doing. As you’re probably aware, Will has become the resident villain of Kensington Palace in recent weeks, thanks largely to rumors of his affair with Rose Hanbury . As a result, some folks are under the impression that Will appealed to his grandmother to deny Archie a title on the grounds that he’s seventh in line for the throne, and will, therefore, spend his life as a “minor royal,” on par with Prince Andrew’s kids. It would be the latest volley in the supposedly ongoing feud between William and Harry — but it would also be pretty damn implausible. But those theorists are on to something in one sense: Archie will be a minor royal, which is why the most likely theory holds that Meghan and Harry decided their child should not have a royal title. “The fact that they have chosen not to use a title suggests they want this baby to have a relatively ordinary life,” royal historian Professor Kate Williams tells Vanity Fair. “When Archie is older he will likely have to go out and get a job. “He will be a minor royal and will have to be prepared for a life of work. If the Commonwealth becomes a smaller entity, there will be less work for the royals overseas.” But that’s not to say that Archie will be anything less than an essential and widely beloved member of the royal family in his adult years: “He is the Queen’s first biracial grandchild,” says Professor Williams. “This is a historically important baby. He affects a multicultural bridge.” This may not be exactly how a famed royal historian would put it, but that trumps the hell out of any lame-ass title. Source: Prince Williams / Getty Young Thug Targeted In Miami Drive-By Shooting Just a couple of days after Offset was reportedly targeted in a drive-by shooting in Atlanta, another ATL emcee is the target of an attack. According to reports, Young Thug ‘s car and two buses party buses driving his team were hit in a drive-by shooting in Miami on Friday morning. Although Thugga was not hit, three people from his team were injured — however, the rapper was present on the scene when rounds were fired. TMZ reports: “Thug was riding in a Ferrari alongside the 2 buses on I-95 around 6 AM when someone pulled up next to them and opened fire. Law enforcement sources say 2 men and a woman who were on the buses were taken to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.” Sources say that the rapper and his crew were headed to the Miami Beach Hotel at the time of the shooting. Police are still investing the incident. Prayers up.

To wit: Will the second kid be named Jughead?!? But this unexpected selection has also led to a few serious questions about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their intentions with the moniker, most notably among them: Was this just an enormous F-CK YOU to all of Great Britain? For whatever it’s worth, Archie was not among the bookmakers’ favorites, as Alexander, Arthur and Albert were the first names on which most gamblers placed their money over the final few days. Archie, which translates to “genuine”, “bold” or “brave” has no real known Royal Connotations. Harrison, meanwhile, is clearly based on the Prince’s first name — but it’s a brand new one for the Royal Family, which has spanned multiple centuries. Might Markle and Prince Harry just have been feeling a tad adventurous? Might they have wanted to harmessly buck tradition and start their child off on somewhat of a fresh foot, given all the pressure he’ll be facing over the next several decades? Sure, absolutely. But there’s also a reason to believe that Markle and Harry went out of their way to stick it to the latter’s home country a bit here. Why? Just consider the non-stop wave of criticism that has been leveled at Meghan ever since she got into Harry’s britches. There has been an endless array of articles written about Markle and her supposedly demanding ways, with each Royal Employee Resignation treated as if the former actress is more selfish and entitled than Teresa Giudice. There was even speculation that Kate Middleton doesn’t like her fellow Duchess because Markle is too American , whatever the heck that means. So would it really come as a surprise if Harry and his polarizing wife purposely chose a name that is more closely associated with American than England for their firstborn? It would be a nice and subtle jab at all those British critics, none of whom can really come out and attack an innocent, defenseless child over his first name… … yet all of whom were receive the message loud and clear. Markle and Harry may be so fed up with life in Great Britain that they’re considering a move to Africa . They’ve already moved to someplace called Frogmore Cottage in order to distance themselves from the chaos of life in London, yet they may soon relocate to an entirely different continent. Such is their apparent contempt for the reception they’ve received as a couple at home. Heck, even the debut of little Archie was met with vitriol by some in the media . Fans of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are still getting over the joyful announcement of the royal baby name . But Harry is back to work, and holding earnest conversations with people even as he beams with pride as a new father. The prince has also spoken of how he misses his mother, the late great Princess Diana. A veteran by the name of Dennis van der Stroon spoke to Prince Harry on Thursday during the new father’s trip to the Netherlands. Van der Stroon then spoke to Hello! about the exchange, in which they reflected upon both fatherhood and loss. “Harry talked about how having a small child was his new focus and new goal,” van der Stroon reveals. He recalls: “and I told him how a couple of months ago, I was struggling with my mental health.” “But,” van der Stroon told the prince. “My wife’s pregnancy has given me a goal.” Like Prince Harry, van der Stroon lost his mother when he was young and is also about to become a father. “Above all,” he comments. “He said he was just amazed by the miracles in the world.” It sounds like he’s very pumped up by being a new father. And he knows that he’s not the only one. van der Stroon adds: “and how his child has made a lot of people happy.” That is certainly true. “He also told me he’s really happy that his son is so far very quiet,” van der Stroon shares. Hey, that’s something that we didn’t know about baby Archie. “But,” he continues. “He also told me not to make too many plans.” Ban der Stroon explains: “and that there’s no way you can plan for when the baby arrives.” That is absolutely true. “I told Harry about my mother,” van der Stroon shares, noting that they could relate to each other. It has been more than 20 years since Princess Diana’s tragic death. “And,” he reveals. “We talked about our shared experience of missing a mum.” That is heartbreaking for both of them. “He said missing a mother is like missing some kind of security,” van der Stroon expresses. Van der Stroon says that Harry spoke of “how you need that [security] as a son and it falls away when you lose your mother.” He and his brother were then under a spotlight as never before while they mourned, which only compounded the trauma. “He said he meets a lot of people in his work who have lost a mother, father, sister, brother, or relatives,” van der Stroon shares. Prince Harry is known for his charity work, following in his late mother’s footsteps. “And when he hears their story, as he heard my story,” van der Stroon concludes. “He said he doesn’t feel so alone.” Harry and Meghan shared their happy news earlier this week. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are pleased to announce they have named their first born child: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor,” they shared on Instagram. “This afternoon,” the statement read. “Their Royal Highnesses introduced Her Majesty The Queen to her eighth great-grandchild at Windsor Castle.” “The Duke of Edinburgh and the duchess’ mother were also present for this special occasion,” the post added. For once, the rumors about the Royal Baby have been proven true. No, not the one about Meghan Markle faking her pregnancy and using a surrogate. But the one about this Duchess and Prince Harry selecting an unusual, somewhat American name for their firstborn. Two days after giving birth to a precious son , Markle has joined with her famous husband in announcing the infant’s full name: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. Yep, it’s a mouthful. And it certainly was not among the final list of strong Royal Baby Name contenders. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are pleased to announce they have named their first born child: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor,” the couple announced on Instagram on Wednesday, May 8. They shared this message along with the photo above, adding via caption: “This afternoon Their Royal Highnesses introduced Her Majesty The Queen to her eighth great-grandchild at Windsor Castle. “The Duke of Edinburgh and the duchess’ mother were also present for this special occasion.” Prior to the baby name reveal and the picture featuring Her Highness, Markle and Harry posed just themselves with little Archie, whose name is causing most Americans to crack jokes about the comic book and/or CW show by this same name. “MY DUCHESS IS A RIVERDALE FAN!!!!!!!!! COME ON, ARCHIE!!!” one user Tweeted after learning of the news. A second person referenced the aforemented drama and wrote: “So the #RoyalBaby has been called Archie? How long until the south side serpents turn up? #Riverdale.” And even the official Archie Comics account got in on the hilarious action: These quips are all well and good and we encourage plenty more of them, but as for the actual basis behind Archie? The name has multiple meanings. In Scotland, it translates to “true and bold,” while in Germany, it means “truly brave.” The newborn’s middle name, Harrison, is of English descent and means “son of Harry.” Seems appropriate, right? The moniker is also a tribute to the prince’s late/beloved mother, Princess Diana, as one of her ancestors was Archibald Campbell, 9th Earl of Argyll, from Scotland. Bet you didn’t know that! The stars had several monikers from which to choose after their first royal tour together, as the Duchess of Sussex revealed in October 2018. “We’ve been given a long list of names from everyone,” the former Suits actress said during an informal Q&A with a group of students in Melbourne, Australia, at the time. She added: “We’re going to sit down and have a look at them.” The brand new mother, meanwhile, also spoke out this morning for the first time since becoming a parent. “It’s magic.
