British Man Shows Off Prison Escape On Snap Chat What in the bloody hell??? This video has been floating around the net and gone viral. After surfacing this week, Reddit users say it’s fake. “This is fake. I [live] around here and it’s Shrewsbury prison. It closed down in 2013.” Well, still hilarious, none the less.
Eventually, you’ll be familiar with El Chapo from the inevitable Netflix series based on his exploits, but in case you can’t wait that long, here’s a run-down: Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman was digging tunnels in Mexico long before the Donald hatched his cartoon supervillain plan to build a border wall. The infamous drug lord escaped from prison twice before being recaptured and extradited to the United States. As if that’s not Hollywood enough, it was actor Sean Penn who inadvertently led police to El Chapo after interviewing the head of the Sinaloa Cartel for a piece in Rolling Stone. These days, Guzman’s life is considerably less glamorous. The 62-year-old is currently being held in solitary confinement in New York’s Metropolitan Correctional Complex. Sources say Guzman is confined to a “closet-sized” cell 23 hours a day, five days a week. He’s permitted to leave the cell for one hour each weekday so that he can work out on a treadmill or stationary bike to prevent his muscles from atrophying. Chapo’s lawyers are in court this week arguing that the treatment is inhumane, and petitioning for their client to be relocated to the facility’s general population wing. It’s a tough sell for a couple of reasons: 1. Chapo is a two-time escapee, and if prison officials are no doubt concerned that he’ll try again. 2. Chapo is an A-list celebrity in the crime world, a fact that could make him an esay target for inmates with something to prove. Interestingly, insiders tell TMZ that Guzman isn’t all that concerned with the upcoming trial that will likely land him behind bars for the rest of his life. Instead, he’s reportedly more focused on his celebrity status . “He regularly asks his lawyers, ‘What are they saying about me?’ He’s very concerned about his image,” says a source inside the prison. Of course, he needn’t worry too much, as a story like his probably won’t go too much longer without being adapted for the screen. View Slideshow: 19 Celebrities Who May Have Killed People It’s a thorny issue, because on one hand, El Chapo is a murderous gangster who’s devastated whole communities, and thus, probably doesn’t deserve to be celebrated. But on the other hand, the guy had to spend two days hanging out with Sean Penn. So when you think about it, he’s really already suffered enough.

Jana Kramer has had horrible luck with men. This much is becoming painfully obvious the more we hear from the actress and singer. The former One Tree Hill star and ongoing Dancing with the Stars contestant married Mike Claussin in May of 2015 and welcomed a baby with him in January… only to them separate from the ex-NFL player just a few months later. Via an Instagram video of herself singing along to the Carrie Underwood track “Before He Cheats,” Kramer then strongly implied that Claussin cheated on her . There’s been talk since that Claussin in a sex addict . “It’s a tough time,” Kramer told Us Weekly recently, saying of her chance to compete on Dancing with the Stars: It’s been fun to just work on me. It’s not just about dance. It’s about gaining confidence.” So that sucks a lot for Kramer. But not nearly as much as what happened to her in her first marriage. In the latest issue of People Magazine, Kramer opens up about her painful history of domestic abuse that landed first husband Michael Gambino in jail for attempted murder in 2005. “I met Mike when I was 19 at a Coffee Bean in L.A. He was a smooth-talker, very charming, intriguing and obviously older,” Kramer explains “At the time, I liked that. I felt protected.” Gambino was 36 years old at the time. The couple dated for just two weeks – yes, two weeks – before getting married in 2004. And that’s when things turned very ugly. According to Kramer, Gambino developed an abusive routine that led Kramer to sleep in her car some nights … or even hide in the bushes until he calmed down. He had a short fuse and was often jealous, she says, explaining how “he’d come home at 3 o’clock in the morning and pick me up out of bed, throw me onto the ground and start yelling and hitting.” Kramer says she hid her bruises with makeup and kept the abuse a secret from family members and friends. Finally, Kramer reached her breaking point. But Gambino wasn’t receptive. “When I said, ‘I can’t do this anymore’ he sent me a photo of my dogs on the freeway and said, ‘I’m going to let them go if you don’t come home’,” she says. “ He’d kick me out of the house, I’d sleep in the car and then that next morning I’d be with him in bed again.” On August 6, 2005, Gambino chocked Kramer to the point of unconsciousness; he left her bleeding on the gravel outside their Los Angeles residence. “I remember praying that night, ‘Please, just take me away, I don’t want to be here anymore’,” says Kramer, who has scars on her shoulder and arm from that evening. But it at least got the police involved. Gambino was convicted of attempted murder and sentenced to six years behind bars. He was released in 2010 and committed suicide two years later. To her credit, Kramer is coming forward now about this harrowing experience because she wants to serve as a role model “I’m so embarrassed and afraid no one will love me because of my past, but I’m ready to put it out there now,” she tells People. “If I can help one person, I’ll be thankful for what happened – and I can move forward.”

Ben Higgins & Lauren Bushnell want the world to know that they’re not the perfect couple . As much as the official previews for their upcoming Freeform reality series, Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After would like to lead us to believe, they are not without their flaws. We witnessed them fall in love on The Bachelor, but the contestants of the reality hit don’t have the best track record in relationships, so we refuse to believe they’ll actually get tie the knot until it actually happens. Having their own reality series will no doubt sweeten the deal to stay together, but at least the couple are now revealing they are not as perfect as they lead us to believe. “There are so many weird elements to being in a relationship after The Bachelor ,” says Bushnell, 26. “We’ve gotten in arguments like any other couple, but about some things that other couples wouldn’t have to fight about, like the fact that we met when he was dating other women. You can say that’s what I signed up for, but it’s still real life and it’s still hard.” Bushnell does have a point. It must be somewhat difficult knowing your significant other could have been intimate with more than one person. Ben and Lauren Sneak Peek That said, she did admit that she signed up for it. To be fair, she probably didn’t think she would emerge victorious at the end of the competition. To help keep them grounded and on the same page, the couple are undergoing couples counseling at their local church. “We want to get a foundation that is healthy and pure and honest, with some help from a mediator,” says Higgins. “Bachelor or not, our life is not easy to navigate. We have our struggles. But we won’t give up. And for every argument, we’re stronger for it.” It is at least comforting to know that they’re being proactive in getting help. It would be horrible if they just brushed everything aside for years and then divorced. “Even facing situations I didn’t know if I could handle, running away was never an option for me. I am so committed to Ben. I love him so much and at the end of the day, I want to spend my life with him.” Fans of Ben and Lauren can take solace in the fact that they’re dealing with their problems pretty much as soon as they occur.
