The X Factor: Picked Up for Season 3!

Fox has renewed The X Factor for a third season. Likely to never be a rating juggernaut along the lines of American Idol , the show has proven to be a solid fall hit, averaging just under 11 million viewers per week. Said Mike Darnell, President of Alternative Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company, upon announcing the pick-up: “This season, Simon and the producers of The X Factor took an already strong show and made it absolutely fantastic. The format changes are working, the contestants are unbelievably talented, and Britney and Demi – alongside Simon and L.A – have brought an incredibly fun new chemistry to the judges’ panel that our fans really love. We feel great about the show and I’m thrilled to bring it back next year for Season Three.” It’s true: Britney Spears and Demi Lovato have received rave reviews thus far. On November 1, meanwhile, The X Factor will go live with irritating co-hosts Khloe Kardashian and Mario Lopez. Teases Cowell of what’s ahead: “The gloves are off! Expect fireworks!”

Poodle, Uncle of Honey Boo Boo, to Gays: Be Who You Are!

Poodle PSA The homosexual uncle of the Thompson family has recorded a PSA in which he opens up about life as a gay man in the south (“People don’t like it,” he says) and details all he’s gone through: “Growing up as a kid, I was bullied day in and day out … broke ribs, dislocated jaw, cars vandalized…” Despite these hardships, though, Poodle has a message of hope for others in a similar situation. “It is okay to be who you are, he says. “Don’t let anybody change that.” Amen, Poodle.

Is ABC eyeing a possible return engagement (pun intended) for Emily Maynard on The Bachelorette? Maybe the third time’s the charm for the Southern Belle … According to reports, producers want her to come back next season, just days after she confirmed her breakup with Jef Holm , her final rose recipient this year. Who knows if this is legit or whether she’d have any interest, but that’s the rumor. “Emily’s ratings were huge and the producers know she is incredibly popular so they are talking with her about coming back for another try ,” a source teases. “ABC loves Emily, there are tons of Emily fans and the producers think it’d be an amazing twist that would really get people watching, even if it is haters.” “Even though she has been burned twice, they know it will be ratings gold and they know that she really likes being on TV and actually has fun on the show.” Emily Maynard got engaged to Brad Womack on The Bachelor , but that relationship fizzled fast; things with Jef fell apart almost as quickly and she is single once again. One of the men she rejected this summer, Sean Lowe , will dole out the roses as The Bachelor in January. Will Emily follow with her second Bachelorette stint in May? Vanessa Hudgens Gets Back To Working On Her Body

Here is Vanessa Hudgens taking a time off from promoting her film Spring Breakers and getting back to the gym, which is important just in case there happens to be a Part 2. I highly doubt it, but even though I haven’t seen the movie, I’m already anticipating a sequel. I think a good storyline would be that the girls become strippers to support their coke habits and have sexual relations with their pimp/drug dealer “King Tuna”. It’s just a premise I’m throwing out there for the producers. Call my agent if you want me to write the script.

Ben Flajnik, Courtney Robertson Tweet Wedding Hints

Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson haven’t been heard from for awhile, which is probably a good thing, considering the negative press they got earlier this year. Even before The Bachelor star proposed to the brunette model during the show’s March finale, they were inundated with an avalanche of bad publicity. Now that it’s been five months, it appears the embattled couple is going as strong as ever, and may be finally thinking about their nuptials to boot. Via Twitter on Friday, Courtney Robertson and Ben Flajnik shared pics of their visit to Baker Beach in San Francisco, Calif., where the couple resides. Both of them suggested that it’d make a perfect wedding venue. “Should we get married here? 😉 a picture of Courtney and I observing a wedding,” Ben posted with a pic of himself, Courtney and his dog Scotch. Added his model fiancee: “I love this candid photo of my boys playing at Baker Beach this morning! I am in love with this place, first time here.” “I think this would be a fun place for a wedding @BenFlajnik ;)” Almost as soon as Robertson accepted Flajnik’s proposal, the couple said there was no date set and they were taking it slow for the foreseeable future. That seems to have been a good plan for them, if they’re still happy and talking about weddings. What do you think, Bachelor fans? Will it last?

Snooki & JWoww Find New Digs, Neighbors Fear Apocalypse

After being denied by several New Jersey towns , Snooki & JWoww have found a new place to live, and the residents of their new town aren’t pleased. 495 Productions, the producers of Jersey Shore as well as Snooki & JWoww , had trouble finding a location to film Season 2 of the duo’s reality show. The small town of Manchester stepped up to the plate, though … much to the chagrin of the Manchester natives who have to live next to them. Some of their close neighbors say they had no idea Snooki and JWoww were rolling into the small Garden State town 80 miles south of N.Y. City. When they called the town to complain, they were told the mayor already signed off, so too bad … for him, the next time he runs for reelection. Concerned residents were told 495 would go door-to-door to “address the situation,” but several neighbors tell us that hasn’t actually happened. What would they say anyway? Meanwhile, with pregnant Snooki ready to pop any second, crew members have been seen setting up equipment. Say a prayer for Manchester.

Is it weird that I like watching hot chicks pump gas? I didn’t think so. Here’s Jennifer Lawrence pumping it at the gas station the other day in her hot workout gear. I don’t know if she was actually going to the gym or not, chicks seem to wear spandex to do anything these days, but I like what I see. She looks like she’s been doing a few deep knee bends, I like it. Her car is looking a little dirty though, I think a bikini car wash is in order. Hot.

I don’t post pictures of celebrity chefs all that often, they tend to look kind of greasy and probably smell like fried cheese, but I like this Giada De Laurentiis so I’ll make an exception this time. I’ve actually seen her show a coule of times, I don’t watch it for the delicious recipes, I watch it because every so often the producers throw in some great shots of Giada’s cleavage aggressively stirring something. Tasty.

Here is Blake Lively showing off some sweet cleavage and her long legs on the set of Gossip Girl. I never watched the show but I wished they would showcase Blake’s talents a little better. These “Sex In The City” type outfits may be good for women hitting menopause but Blake is a free spirit. Don’t you remember her “leaked” photos? Anyway, if the producers of Gossip Girl are reading, you can help a lot of relationships if you just geared the show towards men so they can watch it with their girlfriends and make them happy.
