Angelina Jolie is opening up more these days than ever before. A few days after appearing on Nightline and addressing the issue of marriage , excerpts from an interview Jolie gave to Marie Claire have become available online. “He has expanded my life in ways I never imagined,” the actress tells the magazine. “We built a family. He is not just the love of my life, he is my family. I hold that very dear. I suppose what I’ve learned from Brad is to be able to have the kind of family whose happiness and well-being comes before your own. I’m very, very grateful to have such a loving family, and I wouldn’t have that without him.” Sounds like she’s a fan of the guy, doesn’t it? Jolie also touched on her children (Maddox will “take care” of her when she’s sad; Pax is “extremely wild.”) and made it sounds like her and Pitt might someday add to their adorable brood. “Nothing planned at the moment, but we just don’t know,” she said. “I could end up pregnant.”
Kris Humphries is ready to play ball. With the NBA lockout finally over – it lasted longer than his marriage to Kim Kardashian … but so do some dentist appointments – the free agent power forward spoke to Good Morning America today and said he was excited to focus on his professional life. “I’m just focused on family and preparing for basketball,” Kris said. “For me, it’s just, certain things happen in life and you’ve got to move forward. I’m excited to be where I’m at right now, with the NBA season coming up.” What about the annulment filing? The back and forth in the press? The fact that Kim may soon be back with Reggie Bush ? “The only things I really watch on TV of myself is playing basketball. Trailer references Jonah Hill’s ‘Superbad’ and includes an appearance by a certain ‘Parks and Recreation’ star. By Eric Ditzian Jonah Hill in the “21 Jump Street” trailer Photo: Columbia Pictures The Twitter war between Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum to see who’d get to tweet the “21 Jump Street” red-band trailer didn’t exactly work out as planned. Hill won, yet for some reason didn’t send out the link, so Tatum stepped in and executed the tweetage. But the new footage is nonetheless here. The action-comedy — based on Johnny Depp ‘s ’80s TV series, of course — stars Hill and Tatum as two young cops who join a resurrected undercover unit, pose as students and infiltrate a local high school to get to the bottom of a synthetic-drug ring. Depp’s cameo , unsurprisingly, doesn’t pop up in the new footage, but what else does? Let’s go ahead and take a look at the trailer’s five key moments. A Lifetime of Being Badass Mother$#@*&%s! Yes, that’s basically the professional goal of Schmidt (Hill) and Jenko (Tatum) when they join the police force. Once in uniform, though, badassery is hardly in the job description. Just look at those poor dudes biking around a park, their helmets and shorts almost as lethal to their images as their guns would be to the bad guys. One botched drug bust later, however, and it’s on to the Jump Street squad. Fitting In, Getting High The kids at the drug-filled high school are understandably skeptical of the two new students. As Dave Franco puts it, Tatum looks like he’s 40. So the cops have to fit in, which involves them taking the synthetic drug that comes in a package with a logo that looks, well, like a red pile of dog poop with a halo above it. So what does the drug do? According to the trailer, it makes you run through hallways and be rude to teachers, plus it leaves your tongue feeling really, really weird. Do the Honors, Ron Swanson You knew it was coming, that moment when one character urges a few others to head on down to 21 Jump Street. In theory, there’s something inherently nod-to-the-TV-show cheesy about it. Luckily, the honors are bestowed on Nick Offerman, otherwise known as Ron Swanson from “Parks and Recreation.” In his hands, with that man’s-man beard of his, the line comes out as both hokey and humorous. Well done, Mr. Swanson, or whatever your name in this movie is. The “Superbad” Callbacks The trailer doesn’t just hearken back to Depp’s TV show. It also includes two moments unmistakably linked to Hill’s 2007 breakout comedy, “Superbad.” In one, Hill and Tatum exit a liquor store that looks a whole heck of a lot like the one where McLovin’ tried to score booze for a party. Later, Hill is hit by a car and flung backward, yet isn’t so banged and bruised that he can’t pop off a curse-filled one-liner. Remember how a similar car-crash-and-curse befell Hill outside McLovin’s liquor store in “Superbad”? Guns, F-Bombs and Prom For years, Hill has been promising that his “21 Jump Street” wouldn’t be a parody, some weak-sauce bastardization of the TV series. He wasn’t kidding. This is a hard-R action-comedy filled with foul language, guns galore, a few explosions and the odd sight of Hill asking Tatum to go to prom with him, a date that requires both of them to suit up with enough firepower to take on the T-1000. Contrary to what was reported to BOSSIP by sources tied to production of the second season of “Love & Hip-Hop” , Somaya Reece is still part of the show’s cast, both she and VH1 confirmed today. “Somaya ‘Boss’ Reece is a regular cast member of VH1’s ‘Love and Hip Hop” Season 2,” VH1 said in an exclusive statement to BOSSIP. “Along with Somaya, cast members include: Chrissy Lampkin, Olivia Longott, Emily Bustamante, with new members Kimberly ‘Kimbella’ Vanderhee and Yandy Smith joining the cast this season. In addition to the regular cast, there are a number of men and women from the music industry who make guest appearances in the series. Erica Mena makes an appearance as well, however, she is not a regular cast member.” While reports stated that Somaya had been eliminated from the cast due to the lack of activity in her professional life, Season 2 of Love & Hip-Hop will apparently find her quite busy. Since we last saw her on the show, Somaya has launched a Tequila brand and worked on the forthcoming Lionsgate release “Go For It,” in addition to continuing to work on her official rap debut – both in English and Spanish. She was quite surprised to read the allegation that she had fabricated. “I am very offended that someone would put out information to tarnish my image,” she told BOSSIP exclusively. “Somaya Reece is a brand. The reason they call me Somaya Boss Reece is because I am a self made woman/boss. Lindsay Lohan is sick of the lies dammit. Not long after various sources reported that the professional trainwreck had been given the boot from her community service program and gotten in trouble for a failure to attend court-mandated therapy sessions, Lindsay took to Twitter and defended her record, writing: “I am not to be made an example of anymore.” She continued: “I am working hard and fulfilling my obligations every single day, to the court as well as myself. If I travel, its for work and its been approved. As is anything I do when I leave the state. “I’d appreciate it if people will just let me do what is asked of me, so that I can get my life back. Please ignore the reports which have no truth to them. Thank you.” Lohan will plead her case to a judge next week during a status hearing. You won’t believe this, but Camille Grammer is speaking publicly about her divorce from Kelsey Grammer. The Real Housewife is featured in the latest issue of TV Guide Magazine. When asked about her ex-husband’s reaction to their split, Camille recounts an exchange she had with the father of her two children: “[He became] a different person than the one I was married to. I said, ‘We’ve been together 14 years. How can you just throw us away?’ And he said, ‘Fourteen? Oh, that’s just a number.’ I said, ‘What about our kids?’ and he said ‘They’ll get over it.’ He was very cruel. He even said, ‘I feel no remorse.'” Kelsey and Camille continue to battle over those kids in court , of course. When did Grammer know her marriage was over? When “the phone calls stopped,” she says, and Kesley would just text her goodnight instead of checking in. Kelsey, of course, has been anything for an angel himself. He even went on the Australian morning show Sunrise yesterday and said he got Camille her gig with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a “parting gift.” “It was a very difficult marriage and a very difficult decade,” he said. “I thought, ‘So long, here’s a present for you.'” Man, these two deserve each other. That’s the main topic for the singer in the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar , as she opens up to the magazine about why she waited until now to start a family: “It was important to me that I gave myself time to focus on becoming the woman I want to be, building my empire, my relationship, and my self-worth, before I became a mother. Now God has blessed us with the ultimate.” Beyonce says patience was also a virtue in her relationship with Jay Z, about whom she has nothing but many great things to say: “We have been together since I was 20 years old. We took our time and developed an unbreakable friendship before we got married. I admire his ability to inspire others. “To me, Jay represents the American dream. Jay’s music has helped define our generation. All that he has overcome and worked to achieve gives millions hope that they can become whatever they want to be. I respect him so much; he is a great man and a great artist.” Finally, Beyonce talked about the level she’s reached in both her personal life and her professional life: “I am finally at the stage in my life where I am not so concerned with other people’s opinions about my life decisions. It is so liberating to really know what I want, what truly makes me happy, what I will not tolerate.
