UGA Athletic Director Apologizes To Ludacris For Condoms Debacle UGA athletic director Greg McGarity has apologized to rapper Ludacris for supplying him with a box of condoms before a concert at the university. According to Online Athens , the AD wanted to ensure Luda had all the things listed on his tour rider but the contraception was uncalled for… “I do want to take this opportunity to apologize to our board for mistakes we made with certain aspects of the details of an entertainment agreement,” McGarity said. “Few things in my professional life have bothered me more than this situation. There are no reruns in life so we need to turn the page, learn from our mistakes and do everything we can to make sure errors of this nature do not reoccur.” Georgia paid Ludacris $65,000 for a 13-minute performance on April 16, but the three-time Grammy winner’s lengthy hospitality rider included condoms and liquor. Georgia landed the rapper to play on G-Day days after announcing it had not secured an act. After the quarterly meeting, UGA president Jere Morehead said he “certainly appreciated that the athletic department took responsibility for some of the terms in that contract. Obviously in retrospect they should have done a more thorough job of reviewing all of the riders and removing those that were objectionable. Michael Strahan has already left Live! for Good Morning America. But that doesn’t mean the talk show host is done with Kelly Ripa, not according to a new tabloid cover story. The latest issue of Star claims that Strahan has a $10 million offer on the table to pen a memoir that will reveal endless secrets about his former colleague. An anonymous insider tells the magazine that Strahan would “relish telling his side of the story” of why he ditched one ABC program for another. Strahan, of course, announced in mid-April that he would depart Live! in September in order to become a full-time part of Good Morning America. But Ripa felt disrespected enough by the way in which ABC handled this announcement to stage a mini-boycott of her own show. She eventually returned… talked about the need for respect in the workplace … and then awkwardly sat next to Strahan for the next few weeks until he ended up leaving on May 13. Okay, this actually might be the funniest thing a Kardashian or Jenner has done. Intentionally, at least. Khloe Kardashian and her sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner must’ve been bored today, because they just pulled a pretty epic prank on a Hollywood tour bus – and Snapchatted the whole thing. The three hopped aboard the bus wearing disguises rendering them completely unrecognizable and a helluva lot less glam than usual. Khloe looked twice her age in a grey wig and plenty of stage makeup creating a wrinkled look – and even acted the part with a fake southern accent. Kylie wore a fake nose, black wig with bangs and wire-rimmed glasses while Kendall sported a fake schnoz and a curly red wig. The trio ate Subway and Khloe got chummy with the driver, telling him she was born in 1937 and hailed from Albuquerque. Just a few days after the sports reporter was awarded that massive sum because a pervert filmed her walking around naked through a peephole in her hotel room… the professional wrestling icon received an even larger amount for a different kind of nude act. A Florida jury decreed on Friday afternoon that Hogan is owed $115 million – yes, that’s $115 MILLION – for having his privacy violated by the company Gawker. Back in 2010, the website published clips from a 2007 sex tape that featured the former WWE champion. They did so without his permission and Hogan has said the tape was also filmed without his knowledge. According to Variety, the jury found that Hogan had suffered “severe emotional distress” in the last three years since the sex tape went viral. It featured Hogan having intercourse with the then-wife of his then-best friend, a DJ named Bubba the Love Sponge. Gawker’s attorneys unsuccessfully argued the tape was newsworthy because Hogan openly discussed his sex during various media interviews. Hogan had sued for $100 million, but his peers in court decided that he was owed $55 million for economic injuries and $60 million for emotional distress. During demonstrations that have been largely peaceful, officers detained protestors who are now calling for a shut down in a popular shopping area during Black Friday. The arrests come just a day after new dash cam video was released showing disgraced officer Jason Van Dyke chasing the teen before shooting him 16 times. ABC 7 Chicago reports: Chicago police arrested at least four people in the latest protests over the shooting death of Laquan McDonald, 17. One of the protesters arrested was a CPS teacher, who works at The Ogden International School of Chicago. She was charged with resisting arrest. Demonstrators urged supporters to join them at Chicago’s popular Michigan Avenue shopping district on Black Friday. They want to shut down the area during the holiday shopping rush. Chicago Teachers Union President Karen Lewis is expected to join demonstrations on Friday. “We are happy that he did get arrested and charged with first degree murder. But I think people only think he was charged because the video came out,” said Chloe Haney, a protester. Some protesters caused property damage by ripping lights off Chicago’s official Christmas tree in Millennium Park. The gates were broken, so barricades were put up around the tree. Crews are expected to fix the lights soon. Demonstrators shut down the Magnificent Mile and blocked intersections. At one point, they let a scared couple through so they could get home. Protesters stood face-to-face with officers, staring them down. Some tried to take bikes away from police. The ABC7 I-Team uncovered other dashcams that were rolling the night Laquan McDonald was killed, including the camera from Van Dyke’s squad car. SMH…so sad. Will Smith is 47 years old!) was joined on stage by the Colombian group Bomba Estereo for the fire-blazing routine, with Pinkett Smith and his oldest son Trey Smith cheered him on from the crowd. Last month, Smith dropped a new song for the first time in a decade and said he plans to go on tour in 2016… with DJ Jazzy Jeff! “I've been away doing some other stuff. Making kids and stuff. You know, it takes a little bit of your attention away,” Smith said during Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show on October 5. “I'm at the beginning of this process.
