5 Possible Tyler Perry TV Shows

Here is the original post:

Tyler Perry , the reigning king of Black Hollywood, has taken his brand of entertainment to unprecedented new heights. After a successful run on television with “Meet The Browns” and “House Of Payne”,  Perry will be launching his own television network . Given the “unique” perspective of his movies and TV shows we gave some current popular programming a TP makeover. 1. “Projects Runway” You’ve seen the creative high fashion competition of “Project Runway”. Now Tyler Perry brings you fashion from contestants that they created while they were high. Join hosts Quinesha Grooms and Jimmy Gunz on the new series hit ghetto fashion competition “Projects Runway.” 2. “For Colored Girls Gone Wild” Sad, broken, and down on their luck black women told you their stories, but never like this. Tune in to see some of the black community’s most victimized women not only recite depressing poetry, but do it topless while Drake and Lil Wayne shower them in Rozay! 3.”Jersey Shore: Patterson” Forget Snookie and the crew, if you want a real “situation” come and hang out with the cast of New Jeruz’s realest reality show. Five up-and-coming local rappers struggle to impress Rah Digga , Joe Budden and Shaquille ‘Oneal in hopes that they’ll  follow them on Twitter. 4.”Game Of Bones” This ain’t your Daddy’s backyard Barbeque domino tournament. Uh uh. This is where America’s most desperate Black actors slap down big six and build that winning house for a lead role in the new Tyler Perry film “Why Did The Family Prey For a Mad Black Family Reunion’s Little Girl”. This is where it gets real. Hosted by Madea herself, this is Tyler Perry Presents “Game of Bones.” 5.”Real Pastor’s Wives Of Atlanta” Follow sister Melba Patterson, Dee Dee Simpson, Jameela Barnes, and Coco “suga” Thompson as they navigate the shark like waters of Atlanta church life while balancing home and work lives and being “submissive” to their Pastor husbands. If the Lord is your sheapard, you shall not want to miss a single episode of The Real Pastor’s Wives of Georgia. RELATED POSTS: Can Tyler Perry Be The Next Spielberg Or Scorsese? 5 Possible Tyler Perry TV Shows

‘Glee,’ ‘SNL,’ ‘Modern Family’ Rack Up Emmy Nominations

‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Mildred Pierce’ help HBO lead the pack with 104 nominations. By Aly Semigran Dot-Marie Jones and Matthew Morrison in “Glee” Photo: FOX The nominations for the 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were announced at the crack of dawn Thursday (July 14) — 5:40 a.m. PT, to be exact — and while reigning Outstanding Comedy Series champ “Glee” is currently undergoing some major casting shake-ups, the show’s ensemble still did well in the nominations department. Last year’s Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series winner Jane Lynch, who is also hosting the ceremony this year, will once again try for a supporting Emmy, as will Golden Globe winner Chris Colfer. 2010 nominee Lea Michele did not garner a nomination this time around. The musical dramedy also won nominations for guest stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Kristin Chenoweth and Dot-Marie Jones. As expected, there were some major upsets and shockers in each Emmy category, but perhaps none more apparent then the wildly popular HBO drama “True Blood” being shut out of all major categories, including Outstanding Drama Series and all major acting races. Actress Melissa McCarthy ‘s year, on the other hand, just continues to get better. In addition to her star-making turn in the breakout comedy “Bridesmaids,” McCarthy became a first-time Emmy nominee for her work on the sitcom “Mike & Molly.” The actress got the news firsthand as she, along with “Fringe” star Joshua Jackson, announced the nominations for the 2011 Emmy Awards Thursday morning. But the stunned McCarthy wasn’t the only one to have a good morning in Hollywood. McCarthy’s “Bridesmaids” co-star Kristen Wiig garnered her second nomination in the Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series category for her work on “Saturday Night Live.” She’s up against the women of “Modern Family” and Betty White for “Hot in Cleveland.” “SNL,” which was nominated for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series, also brought some good luck to Justin Timberlake, who earned four Emmy nominations. The “Friends With Benefits” star was nominated for his appearance as host (he’ll go against the likes of Matt Damon and fellow “SNL” host Zach Galifianakis in the guest category) as well as winning three nominations for his musical contributions including “Jack Sparrow” and the Lady Gaga-featured “3-Way.” “SNL” vet Tina Fey found herself a double nominee thanks to her “SNL” hosting appearance and another Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series nomination for her work on “30 Rock.” But no comedy series cast had a better morning than the “Modern Family” ensemble. The show racked up an impressive 17 nominations, just behind cable dramas “Mad Men” (19 nods) and “Boardwalk Empire (18), with the entire cast (well, the adults, anyway) — Julie Bowen, Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ty Burrell, last year’s winner Eric Stonestreet and first-time nominee Ed O’Neill — all nominated in the supporting-actor/actress comedy series categories. Several stars were rewarded with nominations for their final year of work on their respective series. Steve Carell, who departed from Outstanding Comedy Series nominee “The Office” (which is competing against “The Big Bang Theory,” “Glee,” “Modern Family,” “Parks and Recreation” and “30 Rock”) towards the end of its seventh season, garnered another nomination in the Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series (Carell has never won). Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton of “Friday Night Lights,” whose final season wraps up this year, both earned lead acting nominations in the drama categories. “FNL” also scored with a nomination in the Outstanding Drama Series category, against “Boardwalk Empire,” “Dexter,” “Game of Thrones,” “The Good Wife” and “Mad Men.” Newcomer “Game of Thrones” did well for HBO, the most-nominated network this year. In addition to the drama nod, the series adapted from George R.R. Martin’s books also found a nomination for Peter Dinklage in the Supporting Actor in a Drama Series race. Other notable actor nominees this year include Jon Hamm (“Mad Men”), Michael C. Hall (“Dexter”), Amy Poehler (“Parks and Recreation”) and Kate Winslet (“Mildred Pierce”). HBO’s “Mildred Pierce” is the most-nominated work for 2011. Check out more nominees below, and for nominations in all Emmy categories, visit Emmy.com . The 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will air live on Fox on Sunday, September 18, at 8:00 p.m. Reality Competition: “The Amazing Race,” American Idol,” “Dancing With the Stars,” “Project Runway,” “So You Think You Can Dance,” “Top Chef” Reality host: Tom Bergeron (“Dancing With the Stars”), Cat Deeley (“So You Think You Can Dance”), Phil Keoghan (“The Amazing Race”), Jeff Probst (“Survivor”), Ryan Seacrest (“American Idol”) Animated Series: “The Cleveland Show,” “Robot Chicken,” “The Simpsons,” “South Park,” “Futurama” Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series: “The Colbert Report,” “Conan,” “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart,” “Real Time With Bill Maher,” “Saturday Night Live,” “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” Related Videos Musical ‘Glee-Caps’ Of Season Two

More:

All double entendre jokes aside (and there are many of them), we couldn’t be more excited about — get this! — an upcoming reality show on Lifetime! Ever since the network did away with The Golden Girls reruns (and somehow made Project Runway boring), we haven’t paid much attention to their programming block. But that is about to change, now that they’re set to air a show about Roseanne Barr, who lives… Broadcasting platform : YouTube Source : VH1’s Today In Music Discovery Date : 07/07/2011 20:30 Number of articles : 2

Heidi Klum Naked: Coming Soon!

Consider this the greatest tease of all-time: Heidi Klum will soon get naked for the new season of Project Runway . Lifetime President and General Manager Nancy Dubuc told reporters on Thursday that nude shots of the supermodel would be featured on upcoming ad campaigns, as the network moves to embrace “contemporary” women.” That, or Klum is just jealous of all the attention being paid to Blake Lively . This won’t be the first, or second time, Klum has bared it all. You can check out naked pics of her HERE , HERE , and HERE . [Photo: WENN.com]

‘American Idol’ In 60 Seconds: Stop The Clock For Pia

Is it America’s fault Pia Toscano got the boot, or is it the judges’? By Jim Cantiello Pia Toscano on “American Idol” Photo: FOX Jim Cantiello’s “American Idol” in 60 Seconds recaps have been an institution at MTV News since Sanjaya’s Reign of Terror. But sometimes, the lightning-quick pace moves by so fast, you occasionally miss a joke, comment or sight gag. So, as a courtesy to our loyal watchers, we’re publishing the full script of Jim’s latest recap. This week, the top nine (and Scotty’s groupies) tackled rock and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame artists! [ Clip of Steven Tyler singing James Brown. And high kicking. For no reason. ] Wait, is Steven competing now? Can we vote him off? Will.i.am mentored the top nine while speaking in funny voices and refusing to make eye contact with them. [ Will.i.am exclaims, “Sammy!” ] Pia listened to the judges and finally did a fast song, Casey listened to the judges and finally did a bass song, and Jacob listened to his conscience and stopped a Gaye song. (Marvin Gaye, that is.) [ Clip of Jacob: “If I’m in the bottom three, it will be because America won’t be ready to look at themselves in the mirror.” ] [ Jim has a mirror at his desk. ] But Jacob, I am looking in the mirror. And my reflection’s telling me that your performance was terrible. But wait, can we go back to Pia and discuss that outfit? [ Clip of Michael Kors from old-school “Project Runway” saying, “The crotch on those pants is insane!!” ] Thank you, Michael Kors. On the results show it was headache [ shot of Russell Brand ], nightmare [ shot of Gwen Stefani giving fashion advice ], nausea [ shot of Harry Levin and his TMZ crew ], and then a sleazy rocker came back to relive his glory days when really everyone just wanted him to button up his shirt. [ Shots of Iggy Pop performing, but Jim cuts off the editor. ] Oh, no, no, no. I liked Iggy Pop. I was talking about Constantine. [ Clip of Constantine Maroulis: “Am i gonna get judged here?” ] Oh, you’re getting judged. And results!! Goodbye, Stefan-OH WAIT! Pia’s going home?! Stop the clock! [ Clip of a teary J.Lo: “I have no idea what just happened here. ] I’ll tell you what just happened here. You and your pals told Pia that she was perfect every week, when in actuality, she had the personality of wallpaper. But if you had done your job and given her notes to improve her stage presence three weeks ago, chances are Pia would have worked on that. She does, after all, strike me as a perfectionist. Maybe then, America would have fallen in love with her as much as they were in love with her voice. Steven, do you have anything to say for yourself? [ Clip of Steven Tyler: “A mistake is a mistake, but a lack of passion is unforgiveable.” ] This coming from the man who pretended to be asleep Wednesday night? Oh, hold my earrings. Randy Jackson, final thoughts? [ Clip of Randy: “I’m mad, and I don’t get upset!” ] Oh, you never get angry, do you? Well, you also don’t pay attention. Because you, of all people, should know that the cray-crays who vote a zillion times for their favorite contestant are mostly girls. And who have the girls been voting for, especially in the last three seasons? Boys! If only there was a way for you to protect the female talent, and saved that stupid judges’ save for someone with, you know, a vagina! Just sayin’! Hashtag it! And another thing, Randy Jackson. If you’re going to sit there and tell everybody that they’re amazing and beautiful and perfect and awesome, you have no right to act shocked or angry when the bottom three is announced. Don’t think I didn’t notice when you got all huffy once Haley was safe, even though the night before you said the old brilliant Haley was “back-ack-ack-ack-ack.” It is you three who need to look in a mirror. Boom fiyah! OK, you can start the clock again. [ The clock continues. ] Does anybody know when “The Voice” premieres? [ Ding! ] Get your “Idol” fix on MTV News’ “American Idol” page , where you’ll find all the latest news, interviews and opinions.
