Ashton Kutcher on Infidelity, Divorce Rumors: Don’t Believe the Hype!

As one of the most frequent celebrity Twitter users, Ashton Kutcher has taken to that social media network to sort of shoot down rumors that he cheated on Demi Moore with Sara Leal and an expensive divorce is pending between the couple. This morning, the Two and a Half Men star simply linked to a music file for the Public Enemy song “Don’t Believe the Hype.” Make of that what you will. So, THGers: Do you believe the hype? The story goes like this: Kutcher partied with Leal, 23, at a San Diego nightclub on September 23rd. He then slept with her at that city’s Hardrock hotel later that evening. The next day was Ashton and Demi’s six-year wedding anniversary, which the pair spent alone, 3,000 miles apart, because Moore was promoting Five , her Lifetime original movie (above). The actress expressed her own mysterious thoughts on the cheating rumor last week, Tweeting: “When we are offended at any man’s fault, turn to yourself & study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger.” Perhaps if these two spent more time actually communicating, and less time speaking randomly to the public via 140 characters or fewer, they wouldn’t be in the predicament. Ashton Kutcher Gets Heat From CBS, Dodges Affair Rumors

Kutcher and Demi Moore’s marriage is reportedly on the rocks. By Jocelyn Vena Ashton Kutcher on “Two and a Half Men” Photo: CBS Ashton Kutcher is already stirring up trouble at his new network. As the new star of “Two and a Half Men,” Kutcher reportedly angered CBS when he allegedly promoted Foursquare, Flipboard, Hipmunk, GroupMe and Chegg on Monday’s episode, using stickers with those companies’ names on his character Walden Schmidt’s laptop According to The Hollywood Reporter , Kutcher holds investment stakes in each of those properties and used his time on the show to promote the sites for free. The network reportedly wanted compensation for the airtime, though they are now downplaying the report. “This was not part of any advertising transaction with CBS,” a network rep tells E! News . “Our policy is to disclose such financial interests in a credit at the end of the broadcast.” The news comes as Kutcher and his wife, Demi Moore , are rumored to be having marital problems . Fox News reported that Kutcher and Moore have been spending time apart and that on Wednesday, the same day the news of the split broke, security was called to the couple’s home. Kutcher allegedly had an affair with 23-year-old Sara Leal, who is reportedly trying to sell her story about the relationship. While the pair has not directly commented on the rumors of a split, they have danced around them on Twitter. Late Wednesday night, perhaps as a reaction to all the gossip surrounding his personal life, Kutcher tweeted a link to the Public Enemy track “Don’t Believe the Hype.” Meanwhile, Moore, still using the handle Mrs. Kutcher, had everyone speculating that she was ominously commenting on a split days ago in a flurry of tweets . One reads, “I see through you …,” and includes a photo of her laying in bed with her eyes closed. Days before that, Moore tweeted, “When we are offended at any man’s fault, turn to yourself & study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger. — Epictetus.”

Jay-Z & Gwyneth Paltrow Interview Each Other For Their Own Websites

Original post:

Jay-Z ‘s new lifestyle website, Life + Times , launched on April 1st and gives a first-hand look into what the Jiggaman thinks is cool and worth your time (and money).  His bestie, Gwyneth Paltrow , also has a website called Goop that serves a similar purpose.  It only made sense that the two interviewed each other for their respective websites. Check out some excerpts from their short Q&A sessions below: Gwyneth Paltrow: You are the coolest man on Earth, how the f did you get like that? Jay-Z: I’m around great women, starting with my mom. Women keep men cool. The hotter the chick the cooler the guy … that sounds like a really bad rap line! Jay-Z: Personally I was very surprised at your extensive knowledge of hip-hop songs. Particularly how you can sing ’90s hip-hip songs word for word. I can’t even do that! How does a girl from Spence discover hip-hop? Gwyneth Paltrow : I first was exposed to hip-hop when I was about 16 (1988) by some boys who went to collegiate. The Beastie Boys were sort of the way in for us preppie kids. We were into Public Enemy, Run-DMC and LL Cool J. But then I went to LA the summer between my junior and senior year of high school and I discovered N.W.A which became my obsession. I was fascinated by lyrics as rhythm and how Dre had a such different cadence and perspective from say, Eazy-E, who I thought was one of the most ironic and brilliant voices hip-hop has ever had. It was an accident that I learned every word of Straight Outta Compton and to love something that a.) I had no real understanding of in terms of the culture that it was emanating from and b.) to love something that my parents literally could not grasp. But I was hooked. I can’t remember what I ate for dinner last night but I could sing to you every single word of N.W.A’s “F*ck Tha Police” or [Rob Base & DJ E-Z Rock’s] “It Takes Two.” Go figure. REVIEW: Vincent Cassel’s Gangster Saga Fizzles to an End in Mesrine: Public Enemy No. 1

Mesrine: Public Enemy No. 1 picks up not where its predecessor ( Mesrine: Killer Instinct , which opened last week ) left off, but rather where that film’s first scene left off: with the imminent demise of its title subject. In the opening scene we return to the Paris intersection where Jacques Mesrine (Vincent Cassel) was murdered in his car, and find the press feeding unchecked on his perforated corpse. It’s a mirroring that doesn’t bode well for those hoping that director Jean-François Richet might make the second half of his saga from scratch.

Noreaga Hopes ‘Nut Cracker’ Will Be A Summer ‘Club Banger’

‘I didn’t want the summer to leave without me having a club banger,’ he tells MTV News. By Jayson Rodriguez N.O.R.E. Photo: MTV News Although Capone-N-Noreaga released The War Report 2, the sequel to their debut album , earlier this summer, one-half of the Queens duo wanted to make sure he snuck in another project before flip-flops get exchanged for Timberlands. “I kind of miss going to the clubs, so I immediately wanted to drop a club banger,” Nore told MTV News of his single “Nut Cracker.” “I didn’t want the summer to leave without me having a club banger. So that’s what I wanted to do.” The Scoop DeVille-produced knocker is the first effort from Nore’s forthcoming solo album, which he hopes to release with a major label. The rapper is finalizing a director to work on the visual for “Nut Cracker,” which he hopes will either be a spoof of the movie “House Party” or a take on “Flavor of Love,” featuring Public Enemy hype man Flavor Flav in the clip. In the meantime, Nore is finishing up his album and hoping to add a few more features once he signs a new deal. For now, he’s enjoying the success of “Nut Cracker.” “Big-up to my man Scoop DeVille tearing it up, man,” Nore said. “I couldn’t let the summer leave. I needed one of those club bangers. I was a big fan of [Scoop] from the work he’s done with Snoop, [Fat] Joe and now Nore. And hopefully we’ll have a smash as well.” What’s your take on “Nut Cracker”? Let us know in the comments! Colbert Channels Our BP Anger, Whips ‘Tony Hayward’ (Video)

photo via comedy central Last night, Stephen Colbert, always the good samaritan, channeled our collective anger at BP over their never ending gusher. Colbert implored the president to show more anger at BP and its head, Public Enemy #1 CEO Tony Hayward. Hayward has raised our ire by saying insensitive things like he ” wants his life back .” The president seems to be listening to Colbert, telling the “Today” show he talk… Read the full story on TreeHugger

Happy Birthday, Ashley Dupre!

The lovely Ashley Dupre turns 25 today. Happy birthday to our personal favorite former political sex scandal participant and current Playboy cover girl! She gets a bad rap, having been a high-priced hooker, but in Ash’s defense, she was just trying to make a living, and didn’t know who her clients were. Unlike Rielle Hunter , who knowingly broke John Edwards’ home, no matter what she claims. Ashley is also pretty hot, which Rielle cannot claim. Anyway. If you missed it, check out THG’s exclusive interview with Ashley last week. Then check out pics of her below (click to enlarge) in honor of her big day …
