Kelly Schafer is the owner of 7 Greens Detroit Salad Company, a company that specializes in healthy eating. She appeared Monday on Fox 2 Detroit in order to show viewers how to spice up their greens for National Salad Month. Yes, May is National Salad Month. We'll forgive you if you didn't know that previously. We'll also forgive you if you forget it as soon as you watch the following video. Because Schafer somewhat distracts folks from her cause upon asking an unexpected question of co-host Jason Carr, who wanders over to Carr and co-host Deena Centofanti toward the end of their segment. “Everybody loves a yoga girl, right, Jason?” Schafer says immediately to a confused Carr. “That's right,” Carr replies… because what else is he going to say on live television? From there, Carr figured it was the right time to ask a very personal question: “Now I know you want me to toss your salad too, don't you?” WHOA THERE! TMI ALERT! Also: What?!? Where did that come from? Centofanti tried to change the topic, only for Carr to quip that her joke “never gets old.” We're pretty sure it does, though. Lex McAllister, a contestant on season 14 of The Bachelor – has been found dead. According to TMZ, authorities believe that McAllister took her own life by overdosing on prescription medications. Lex’s family says she suffered from bipolar disorder and depression throughout her life. Early reports indicate that a 911 call was received on Saturday afternoon after McAllister was found unconscious in her home. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where her condition quickly stabilized. Sadly, McAllister reportedly took an unexpected turn for the worse on Sunday, when her organs began to shut down. On Monday, her family made the difficult decision to remove her from life support, and she passed away on Tuesday afternoon. McAllister was featured on one of the show’s most popular seasons, in which Jake Pavelka served in the title role. Shockingly, she is not the first season 14 cast member to take her own life, as fellow contestant Gia Allemand committed suicide in 2013. Following Allemand’s death, Pavelka spoke openly of his shock and grief. There’s no word on whether or not he’s been informed of McAllister’s passing. A successful career woman, McAllister’s Twitter page describes her as a “business development expert, franchise consultant and entrepreneur.” Her family has requested privacy during this difficult time. Disgraced reality star Josh Duggar has been hiding out in a secluded, sex addiction rehab program in Illinois for half a year now. All the while, his scorned and long-suffering wife Anna Duggar is raising their four children on her own, toiling away until his return. Anna, who’s homeschooling the couple’s children, is effectively a single mom who has borne all the responsibilities of child-rearing. Yes, the longer Josh stays out of the public eye, the more we talk about Jana Duggar and Jill’s second pregnancy (supposedly) instead. But for a dude you would think is eager to change his image – that of a hypocrite, and terrible husband and father – it’s a fine line indeed. The Duggars reportedly lost a staggering $25 million in 2015 due to lost book deals, endorsements and speaking engagements. Convicted Rapist Daniel Holtzclaw Removed From National Prison Database Even though racist serial rapist Daniel Hotlzclaw is supposed to be serving a 263-year sentence for his brutal crimes against Black women, no one outside the prison system is quite sure of his whereabouts right now. The crooked cop’s name has been completely erased from the national prison database, presumably for his own safety within prison walls . Via OKC Fox : Daniel Holtzclaw’s information was removed from the Department of Corrections’ online inmate locator for his safety and security. The DOC tells Fox 25 their primary responsibility is the safety and security of offenders and then the public’s safety. Communications Director Terri Watkins said this is not an uncommon practice, but assured Fox 25 Holtzclaw remains in custody. As a consequence of the removal, Hotlzclaw’s information was removed from the Victim’s Notification system, known as V.I.N.E., which is run by the Oklahoma Attorney General’s office. The AG’s office told Fox 25 the information provided to victims of crime comes from the Department of Corrections. The DOC said Holtzclaw’s victims will be notified if he is released. However, Holtzclaw’s sentence would not allow for such a release. So…they won’t reveal where he is to the public, and the multitude of Black women he raped have no real assurance that he is indeed behind bars and unable to harm them further…but we should all take their word for it because he’s such a “special case.” SMH!
