TLC Squashes Jon Gosselin’s Super Bowl Dreams

It’s apparent that Jon Gosselin is going to have a hard time cashing in on his quasi-fame as long as his former employer has anything to say about it. TLC essentially torpedoed two different Super Bowl commercials that would have starred the erstwhile Jon & Kate Plus 8 star, according to his lawyer. “Two different entities sought to solicit his services [for Super Bowl ad spots], but in my view, they were scared of TLC,” says attorney Mark Heller.

Yesterday, we reported that NBC’s Today Show called off its planned interview with Speidi at the last minute, citing the ambiguous ” schedule changes .” Spencer Pratt thinks he knows the real reason NBC pulled the plug, and responded like anyone would – Twittering a tirade of insults at Today ‘s Al Roker.

A month after the CW mercifully pulled the plug on The Beautiful Life after just two episodes, the ill-fated show’s star is now looking for a new gig. “I’m just figuring out what my next move will be and looking at a lot of different projects and figuring out what I want to do,” Mischa Barton said. Although she said that “people really liked” the show – loosely based on producer Ashton Kutcher’s days as a model – she says she’s moving on .
