Guess we already knew he didn’t have love for the kids after he dissed Big Bird, but Mitt def doesn’t have a good excuse for this one! Robney chose to skip the “Kids Pick the President” special that Nickelodeon hosts each election year and the shows executive producer said the decision Mitt made “disses” children…SMH. This would have been a prime opportunity for Mittens to save face after the out of pocket comments he made about PBS during last weeks debate, but the Governor “simply didn’t have time. He couldn’t fit it in his schedule”. According to Businessweek… “Kids Pick the President: The Candidates,” with videotaped questions for the candidates from youngsters nationwide, debuts Oct. 15 on the children’s channel. Afterward, an online poll asks kids to make their pick. His decision is disappointing because “answering kids’ questions directly shows respect for the several million kids who will vote in Nickelodeon’s ‘Kids Pick the President’ campaign,” she said. “That’s several million kids who actually want to get involved in the democratic process,” Ellerbee said. “They don’t deserve to be dissed. But former Gov. Romney also blew off Letterman and Big Bird, so I guess we’re in good company.” The Romney campaign did not immediately respond to email and phone requests for comment…For the special, Obama fielded questions regarding gun control, jobs, illegal immigration, same-sex marriage and bullying. He also was asked about his most embarrassing moment, Nickelodeon said. That BET gig can’t save you in real life Bow… Bow Wow Owes $284,000 On His Leased Ferrari From 2010 According to TMZ reports : Gotta say … we were scoffing at Bow Wow this week when he told a child custody judge he was only pulling in $4,000 a month … and then announced just hours later he was becoming the host of 106 & Park … but we just found some documents that show creditors have been chasing him for 3 years over a car. B.W. leased a 2005 Ferrari F430 back in 2008. It didn’t take long for the rapper to fall behind, because in February, 2009, the leasing company sued him and got a judgment for $216,084 … oh, and 75 cents. Since getting the judgment, the leasing company has been on the hunt for payment, using a collection agent to track down Bow Wow. Mr. Wow never paid, and now with interest the judgment has swelled to $283,785 … oh, and 13 cents. Bow Wow told the custody judge he only had $1,500 in his bank account and leases a jeep. We’re still shocked by this video… and now Aida Guzman is finally speaking out after the incident. We showed you the footage of Aida being brutally assaulted by a police officer for no reason at a Puerto Rican Day parade and now police say they will launch a full investigation into the actions of the 19-year veteran cop. According to the Daily News… Mother-of-three Aida Guzman, 39, from Philadelphia, has a swollen and cut lip as well as injuries to her hands and arm after the violent assault from Highway Patrol Lt Jonathan D. Josey II, 40. Speaking at her Chester home yesterday, she said she was angry at the officer’s actions and insists she had done nothing wrong and that she was merely a participant in the parade. Translating for her mother, her daughter Keysha, 19, said her mom was hit from behind and while she was on the ground the officer said: ‘That’s what you get’. She then told him,’It wasn’t me.’ She said: ‘That’s what happened. I didn’t do it. He has no right to put his hands on me. I’m 39, I don’t play games like that. ‘I feel angry, very angry. I go to someplace, got a good time and look this happen, for no reason.’ Lt Josey – a 19-year police veteran who moonlights as an actor and comedian, according to the Philadelphia Daily News-is seen in the video punching Ms Guzman violently in the back of the head after someone else in the crowd throws silly string or water at the officers. In 2006, he nominated himself to be a ‘Daily News Sexy Single’, where he listed his most outstanding feature as his ‘charm and magnetic personality’. In March 2010, Josey was cleared in the fatal shooting of an armed robber at a 7-Eleven and was later cited for bravery. He was stabbed in June 2010 when he was trying to break up a fight at a bar when he was off duty. An internal affairs investigation was launched on Monday and Josey was placed on desk duty pending the outcome of the investigation. Deputy Police Commissioner Richard Ross said of the incident: ‘We’d be remiss if we didn’t acknowledge that the video is disturbing. ‘Clearly, the one issue at hand is she does appear to be walking away. She does not appear to be facing Lt Josey at that time.’ The 39-year-old was then arrested and was issued a summary citation for disorderly conduct, on which police reported she had thrown beer at them. Now we didn’t see this coming… This is just sad on so many levels. While we were all wondering if Nicki’s ratchet azz even had business being a judge on idol, she’s already proved us wrong and has gone off on Mariah; with Keith’s defenseless country self stuck in the middle. At least Mimi kept it classy and let Nicki do Nicki. According to TMZ… Nicki Minaj derailed the “American Idol” auditions in Charlotte, North Carolina today, after swearing at Mariah Carey and threatening, “I’m gonna knock you out” … sources tell TMZ. In the footage, obtained by TMZ, Nicki is clearly furious … shouting, “I told them, I’m not f*ckin’ putting up with her f*ckin’ highness over there.” Sources say Nicki later threatened to “knock out” Mariah … but that part wasn’t captured on tape. It all went down while the two were sitting at the judge’s table … with Keith Urban sitting in between them and Randy Jackson sitting on the far end, next to Mariah. We’re told the whole thing exploded over a disagreement about a contestant’s performance. According to our friends at MouthToEars.com, producers ended the auditions for the day so the two judges could cool down. Big wigs on the show seem uncharacteristically upset by the blow up — it appears this was no joke and it seems producers are worried about Mariah and Nicki co-existing for the long haul. We hope this gets squashed and the two can move on…even if one of them has to leave Idol. The last thing we need is another terrible representation of black women for middle America to see on TV.
