To be honest… we do agree with him and have said before that the new age rap pretty much sucks. Chief Keef is not a good MC… straight up. And way too many MC’s, like Benzino said, are living politically correct to protect their endorsements and good heart white folks, so they wont say the truth about this kid sounding as dumb as a door knob on the mic. We remember Caution and Shaheem, but damn, at least the kids had some talent with spitting rhymes. Lupe Fiasco On Chief Keef And The Chicago Rap Scene youtube #Rapattack
For the stans … So apparently singer Keri Hilson is struggling. I’m hearing she is “blacklisted” in the industry after her blatant disses towards Beyonce. Interscope has had their wits with her diva-ish attitude and her partner in crime who came up with the idea of Keri to come for Beyonce’s crown has been ghost in her defense to save her failing career. She is at rock bottom, and is too prideful to realize it. The top producers and writers are too scared to collaborate or work with her on her new projects for fear of catching some of the backlash. Wouldn’t be surprised if she nudged fellow struggling singer Ciara to do a duet and get some buzz for her declining singing career. That sounds like a terrible idea. A Keri Hilson and Ci-Error duet? And let’s be honest, who was ever really checkin’ for Keri? Some songwriters do themselves a disservice by not staying behind the scenes… Source
“Three days before Independence Day, Milton Hall died in a fusillade of police gunfire outside a strip mall. He had been arguing with officers in a parking lot next to a shuttered Chinese restaurant when he was shot, in full view of passing motorists and while he was holding some sort of knife. Saginaw County Prosecutor Michael Thomas said later that the squad of police confronting him opened fire “because apparently, at this point in time, he was threatening to assault police.” Now, look below at how Swedish cops handle a drunk and disorderly person. youtube
Actor Harry Belafonte Criticizes President Obama And African-American Celebrities For Lack Of Social Responsiblity Iconic actor Harry Belafonte is speaking out on what he feels is a lack of social and political activism among the “elite” members of the African-American community including Jay-Z, Beyonce and even the President himself. “The power in many societies has become almost absolute,” Belafonte told the Tinseltown industry outlet. “What we did during the Bush period, what we still continue to do, even with Barack Obama, is the continuency of not changing the paradigm, of not changing the view. We still have laws that encourage torture, we did not change Guantanamo, we have laws that allow the police to arrest you at any time, not having to tell you why, and take you wherever they want. This kind of capitalism is taking us to the doorstep of [a] Fourth Reich, I think.” Belafonte, along with entertainers such as Sidney Poitier and Josephine Baker, are part of an older guard of African-Americans in the public eye for whom it was as important to be politically active as it was to be wealthy and watched. Belafonte’s contributions to the Civil Rights Movement are numerous — including financially assisting Dr. Martin Luther King, who considered Belafonte to be a close confidante. He is dismayed that today’s African-American celebrities do not in his opinion reflect the same level of dedication. Belafonte even believes that at least one white star could teach black luminaries a thing or two about social awareness. “I think one of the great abuses of this modern time is that we should have had such high-profile artists, powerful celebrities. But they have turned their back on social responsibility,” he accused. “That goes for Jay-Z and Beyoncé, for example. Give me Bruce Springsteen, and now you’re talking. I really think he is black.” Jay-Z has been vocal in his support of President Obama’s support of marriage equality. Beyoncé has also publicly endorsed Frank Ocean’s revelation that his first love was a man. Aside from these instances, it is difficult to name cases in which high-profile black celebrities have spoken out on political issues. We can name few more black celebs that have spoken out publicly about social and political issues but, does Mr. Belafonte have a point? Or is there just a generational disconnect between methods used to generate social and political awareness now and then? Source
Let us find out Naomi is LeBron’s real mama…cotDAMN! Naomi Campbell’s Damaged Hairline Is Exposed While Vacationing On A Yacht In Ibiza Naomi Campbell’s difficult personality and explosive temper have made many an assistant want to pull out their hair! Now the supermodel is suffering from major bald patches herself and RadarOnline.com has exclusive insight into her hair-raising problem. “It’s hideous, what did she do? It looks really bad!” said shocked hair stylist Kazumi Morton from the Neil George Salon in Beverly Hills. “I have been doing hair extensions for years but I have never had a problem like this.” RadarOnline.com first reported two years ago that Campbell’s obsession with elaborate weaves and extensions could pose a dangerous threat to her beautiful long locks, and new photos showing bare patches on her tortured scalp prove our prediction. “I think whoever put the extensions in they put them way too close,” Morton, who has not worked with Naomi, explained to RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview. “Around the hairline and the neck, the hairs are very delicate and fragile and you need to avoid attaching extensions in that area. “They are way too close to the scalp as well, they need to be at least a half inch away.” Now 42, the British fashion queen has spent decades adding volume and length to her natural locks with damaging hair pieces that pinch and pull at her scalp. “If she had been doing it correctly every time and not so often it wouldn’t have caused this problem,” revealed Morton. “Hair needs rest, at least every three months or so, so she is doing it too much.” Maybe Naomi’s next business venture should be a line of designer headbands and scarves for her the rest of these “Weavey Wonder” azz broads with their lines pushed back like bad traffic…child please. Los Angeles Plastic Surgeon Charged With Secretly Taping Patients While They Undressed What a creeper! One of the guys behind some of the knifed up action going down in Hollyweird has been arrested for acting like a Peeping Tom and a Chester The Molester AT WORK! A notable plastic surgeon who transforms Hollywood’s rich and famous also allegedly filmed them fully unclothed without their consent. He now faces serious charges that could land him in jail for two years and on the registry of sex offenders for the rest of his life. Lance Everett Wyatt, 42, of Sherman Oaks covertly videotaped his patients as they undressed, according to authorities. The Los Angeles plastic surgeon faces six misdemeanor charges. The allegations against Wyatt – director of the Wyatt Center for Plastic Surgery and the Institut d’Esthetique – include unlawful filming of another person, unlawful viewing of another person, sexual battery on a patient and unlawful use of force and violence, according to the Medical Board of California. During a post-operative exam, a patient noticed a video camera recording her undressing. She brought the camera to the police, triggering a year-long investigation by the attorney’s office and California’s Medical Board, reports KTLA. City Attorney Carmen A. Trutanich announced the accusations against Wyatt on Thursday. “Patients deserve to feel safe and secure while in the care of their physician,” Trutanich said in a press release. “Our charges allege that Dr. Wyatt violated that sacred trust and he should be held accountable.” Upon reviewing the video footage, the L.A. Attorney’s special victims section saw Wyatt allegedly touching at least one patient inappropriately, prompting the sexual battery charge. Linda Whitney, executive director of the Medical Board, is dedicated to protecting patients from such conduct violations. “The mission of the Medical Board is public protection,” she said, “and this action reflects the Board’s ongoing commitment.” Wyatt’s credentials are impressive, to say the least. He was a clinical fellow in surgery at the Harvard Medical School and the chief resident in the Harvard Combined Plastic Surgery Residency Training Program. Throughout the 1990s, he worked at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where he received his medical degree. His peer-reviewed literature has appeared in worldwide forums and he has authored six textbook chapters, according to his website. EBONY Magazine listed Wyatt as one of the 50 Leaders of Tomorrow. Wyatt has appeared on multiple television programs, such as “The Doctors” and “20/20.” SMH… Guess he won’t be getting any more profiles in Ebony Magazine. Shame on ninja doctor! Source
