A member of The Donald’s writing staff has finally come forward to claim responsibility for the words that were cribbed from Michelle Obama’s speech and ended up coming out of the mouth of Melania Trump. Via DailyMail An employee at Donald Trump’s real estate company has come forward to say she inadvertently spliced portions of Michelle Obama’s 2008 Democratic National Convention speech into the address Melania Trump delivered Monday night. Mrs. Trump’s speech drew instant criticism when a half-dozen lines were found to be in common with Mrs. Obama’s from eight years ago. Meredith McIver, an in-house staff writer at the Trump Organization and former ballet dancer, released a statement Wednesday saying she wrote down portions of the Obama speech – with Mrs. Trump reading them to her over the phone – and included them later in the draft she presented to Melania. ‘I did not check Mrs. Obama’s speeches. This was my mistake, and I feel terrible for the chaos I have caused Melania and the Trumps, as well as to Mrs. Obama,’ she wrote. ‘No harm was meant.’ Good news is Melania's speech got more publicity than any in the history of politics especially if you believe that all press is good press! — Donald J. Since he was flying from overseas I said I would put it on my card and he could switch it when he arrived which he never did. He kept extending his stay and they kept charging my card. At one point the hotel called me and apologized to me that myself and Mr. Dixon were locked out of our room… I was never there so clearly I’m paying for a room for him to bring other females to. Anyways, he said he would wire me the money, asked for my bank info etc… never got it. At one point after continuously asking, he gave me $740… his hotel bill was over THREE GRAND. So when I confront him about it, I’m a liar. I sent him the receipts and he just blocked my number. All that flossing and bruh can’t pay ol girl back? That’s foul

However, in a recent interview on the Today show, Tina revealed that the threads she designed for her daughter’s big day might not have been as well-received as she thought… Via VanityFair Knowles, a fashion designer, made her daughter her wedding dress, a strapless gown with multiple tiers, which was not seen by any of us until it appeared in the 2011 music video for “I Was Here.” (It has since been seen in various clips shared by the singer.) Judge Persky To Sentence Latino Immigrant More Prison Time Than Brock Turner For Similar Sexaul Assault C’mon now! If THIS isn’t a tell-tale sign that this judge and the criminal justice system is completely f***ed then we don’t know what is! Via TheGuardian The embattled judge in the Stanford sexual assault trial is presiding over a similar case in which a Latino man is facing a much harsher sentence than Brock Turner, raising questions about how the former student may have benefited from his privileged background. Raul Ramirez, a 32-year-old immigrant from El Salvador who admitted to sexually assaulting his female roommate in a case that has similarities with the Stanford case, will be sentenced to three years in state prison under a deal overseen by judge Aaron Persky, according to records obtained by the Guardian. The three-year-prison sentence, part of a plea agreement signed in March, provides a sharp contrast to the outcome for Turner, a white 20-year-old former Stanford swimmer who Persky sentenced to probation and six months in county jail after he was convicted of sexually assaulting an unconscious woman. Here’s how Mr. Ramirez’s got himself in trouble… Ramirez was arrested at his home in Santa Clara County in November 2014 after his roommate called 911 to say that he had sexually assaulted her, according to police reports. Ramirez gave the woman a “love letter” and later entered her bedroom and fingered her for about five to 10 minutes against her will, according to a police report, and stopped only when she started crying. When police arrived, he admitted to the assault. “Ramirez knew what he did was wrong and he wanted to say sorry,” one officer wrote. Ramirez, who has used a Spanish interpreter in court, had his bail set at $200,000 – significantly higher than the $150,000 bail set for Turner. Gotta get this judge TF outta here. GOT. TO. Men Rob 14-Year-Old Boy For His Puppy At Gunpoint The depths that people will sink to never cease to amaze us. Guess pulling guns on teenagers to steal their pets is just par for the course in the life of a real gangsta…*eye-roll emoji* Via SFGate A puppy stolen at gunpoint from a 14-year-old boy in San Leandro has been found safe, police said. The boy was walking a 3-month-old German shepherd when two men brandished a gun, took the puppy and fled, police said. “Nothing was taken, just the dog,” said Lt. Robert McManus, a spokesman for the San Leandro Police Department. He said the incident marked the first dog-napping his department has investigated. McManus said Friday evening the puppy was found safe, but declined to provide details on her return. The holdup unfolded Monday, when the teen took his puppy — named Maya — for an evening stroll on Dayton Avenue. About 8:30 p.m., the boy and his dog were confronted by two men who rolled up in a light-colored car. The passenger got out and tried to snatch Maya, but the boy resisted.
