50′s claiming the guy who’s suing him doesn’t even own the damn song anymore!?!? According to TMZ : 50 Cent doesn’t own the 1970s song he recently sampled — but in court docs obtained by TMZ, he claims the guy suing him for copyright infringement doesn’t own it either! As TMZ first reported, a man named Robert Poindexter sued 50 … claiming the rapper hijacked a sample of his Persuaders song “Love Gonna Pack Up and Walk Out.” Robert claims 50 used it on his track “Redrum,” which he released for free online. But in recently filed court docs, 50 says the suit is TOTAL B.S. and claims he never violated any copyright laws. In fact, he says Robert doesn’t even own the rights to the allegedly-stolen song because he signed them over to Warner Music Group awhile ago … therefore he can’t sue. 50 is asking a judge to dismiss the case ASAP. The judge has yet to rule. Maybe Poindexter forgot he sold his songs?? LLS Images via WENN

So now we can’t even have a fundraiser for Hurricane Sandy victims without getting some shade thrown at POTUS?!?! With the countdown at four days, the crazy azz morning crew over at ‘Fox and Friends’ is tryin’ to make something out of nothing. Whining about the ‘real reasons’ behind the concert and the rush to have it (uhmmm…maybe to raise money for ALL of the victims??), these fools just look like some super-haters. They stooped real low when they showed a clip of Kanye from the 2005 Katrina fundraiser…SMH. Images via youtube
Suspended without pay too. And Matty’s throwin’ shade at the NBA now, calling their decision a joke! According to TMZ : Matt Barnes has been suspended by the NBA for one game… after the L.A. Clippers forward pled “no contest” to interfering with the duties of a police officer. According to the NBA, Barnes will serve out his suspension tomorrow — when the Clippers play their season opener against the Memphis Grizzlies. The punishment stems from an incident back in July — when Barnes was arrested for driving on a suspended license and resisting arrest. As we first reported, Barnes eventually pled no contest to misdemeanor interference with the duties of a police officer … and his suspended license charge was dropped when he proved he had a valid license. He’ll be back on Friday when the Clippers face the Lakers. Do you think Barnes should have been suspended?? Images via
Dude lit up a cigar after his ‘victorious’ win and after expressing sympathy for the 19-year-old woman he was accused of raping in 2010 , Taylor told reporters he was ready to move forward from the embarrassing chapter of his life. According to The New York Post : NFL Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor has won a lawsuit that tried to hold him accountable for sex with a 16-year-old girl in a hotel room near New York City. The jury returned its verdict Friday after hearing testimony from the now 19-year-old woman and Taylor. Taylor gave a thumbs-up to a friend in the spectator area when the verdict was announced. Outside the courthouse, the former New York Giants linebacker celebrated by lighting up a big cigar — when asked what kind it was, a triumphant LT said “Redemption!” “I feel for what she’s gone through,” Taylor told reporters. “I wasn’t a bad person. I could have helped her … I hope the best for her. Now it’s time to go back and concentrate on my own broken life.” Taylor acknowledged that he had sex in 2010 with a prostitute. He denied, however, that he ignored obvious signs she was a teen runaway in distress. The woman had claimed that an abusive pimp forced her to have sex with Taylor for $300, in an encounter that occurred in a hotel room in Montebello, just north of New York City. She sued Taylor, seeking unspecified damages. After the verdict, a juror told The Post the jury was unanimously behind Taylor, and some members wanted to find for the fallen football star in as little as five minutes. “I, and I think everyone, had an extreme amount of sympathy for [the woman],” said the juror, a female 43-year-old engineer from Westchester. “It came down to a matter of consent because they obviously had some kind of physical contact … She gave her consent by removing her clothes and allowing penetration. There was no clear point where we thought Mr. Taylor should have stopped,” the juror said. Hmm…maybe he should have stopped since he knew her ‘consent’ came from her Pimp. Images via
