At least one of the suckas had the good sense to just plead guilty… You may remember late last year we reported on the death of a young Georgia teen named Bobby Tillman that was stomped to death outside a house party. There was only one taker to Douglas County District Attorney David McDade’s offered to abandon plans to seek the death penalty in the stomping death of Bobby Tillman so the prosecutor will move ahead with his plans for a capital case against the three remaining defendants. McDade set a Wednesday 5 p.m. deadline to the four accused of attacking the 18-year-old last November to agree to plead guilty to murder to avoid a death penalty trial for the vicious assault on Tillman. Only one of them took the offer. The attorney for Emanuel Boykins, 18, told McDade on Tuesday Boykins will plead guilty later this month to felony murder. McDade said Wednesday none of the other three said they would plea. “After reviewing all the evidence and conducting my investigation and meeting with Mr. Boykins … we decided he did not need to go to trial and risk a death sentence,” defense attorney Jason Swindle said. “He wants to take responsibility for the terrible thing that happened. And he’s contrite.” When Boykins pleads guilty to felony murder June 29, the malice murder charge will be dropped, Swindle said. As for the rest of youse, we hope you understand what you’re gettin yourself into. This was a totally senseless killing and the death penalty is definitely comin’ fo yo a**!! Source

Sh*t Is Really Real In Mexico: Suspected Informants Shot And Hung From Highway Bridge

Just what in the hell is going on South of the border?? In the latest atrocity of the Mexican drug war, gangsters shot and tortured two men and then hung them alive from a highway bridge. A teenager, bleeding and screaming, was found dangling from his wrists over one of one of the busiest routes in Monterrey, the country’s third largest city. A man hung next to him was dead by the time rescuers arrived. The body of another man who tried to escape was riddled with bullets. Witnesses saw the killers get out of a van and toss the men – whose hands were bound with duct tape – off the bridge in broad daylight yesterday. One victim had a cellphone taped to his hands – apparently to suggest that he was murdered because he was an informant. Three days earlier, two men were hung by their necks off another bridge in Monterrey. One had their foot cut off. More than 35,000 people have been killed in drug-related violence across Mexico since 2006. This is outrageous! More than 35,000 people dead over drug trade? Something’s got to give but who’s going to risk going down there to assist? These guys aren’t playing … SMH Source

This is a parent’s worst nightmare. Just what the hell happened? A young New Jersey girl’s trip to an amusement park ended in horror as the 11-year-old plummeted to her death Friday while riding a Ferris wheel. Abiah Jones was on the ride by herself when she dropped 100 feet to her death, officials said. An eyewitness said Jones peeked over the railing and fainted, resulting in her fatal fall. The girl was airlifted to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead. The Giant Wheel ride at Mariner’s Landing in Wildwood was built in 1985 and is 156-feet high. It’s one of the largest Ferris wheels on the East Coast. The ride passed inspection in March and officials have not indicated that any mechanical failure was to blame for Jones’ death. “We don’t know if it was a freak accident, or maybe she was looking around, we don’t know,” Wildwood Police Capt. Robert Regalbuto told NBC News. The park remains open, but the ride has been shut down. Between 4,000 and 5,000 students were at Mariner’s Landing Thursday and Friday as part of the annual Education Extravaganza event. When you send your child on a class trip, you expect for them to come back with a smile on their face and a mouthful of stories. Sadness. R.I.P. Source

R.I.P. Jessica Harris, Teen Helped By Brandy Dies Months After Heart Transplant

Less than four months after Brandy helped her raise the funds needed to get a heart transplant, 17-year-old Jessica Harris has passed away. Harris, who lived in the same town of McComb, Mississippi, where Brandy was raised, died at a New York hospital on Thursday, Brandy said. The singer/actress started a campaign to raise funds for surgery to correct Jessica’s congenital heart defect after meeting Harris last year. The teen finally received the transplant in late February. “Jessica was and will always be an inspiration to our family. In the face of her illness, her courageous spirit and positive outlook gave us memories we will cherish for a lifetime,” the singer and her family said in a statement on Friday. “We were touched by the outpouring of generosity from the public when we set up a fund on her behalf to help cover her medical and travel expenses,” the statement added. Brandy thanked those who donated to the fund and the hospital that carried out the heart transplant — the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital in New York. Harris suffered from hypoplastic left heart syndrome, and was denied medical insurance through her father’s job because she was deemed to be suffering from a preexisting condition. James Arness, Gunsmoke Star, Dies at 88

Actor James Arness of Gunsmoke fame has passed away at age 88. “Jim passed away this morning at home with his wife of natural causes. He went quietly in his sleep,” Arness’ rep, Ginny Fazer, said earlier. “He is survived by his wife Janet, two sons and six grandchildren.” The 6’6” actor was best known for his role of Marshal Matt Dillon in the classic weekly series, which he played for an amazing 20 years. The funeral will be private, but fans are encouraged to make donations in Jim’s name to his favorite charity, United Cerebral Palsy. It’s unknown if he was ailing for an extended time period, but Arness left a farewell letter of sorts on his official website for his fans. “I had a wonderful life and was blessed with some many loving people and great friends,” he writes. Damn, so that’s what’s going on now? Beating senior citizens to death?? SMH A 61-year-old Bronx man was stomped to death in front of his home early yesterday when he got mixed up in a fight between a crazed man and a woman, police said. Quentin Guerrero, 61, was attacked at 1:30 a.m. in front of 480 E. 138th St. in Mott Haven by ex-con Kendall Major, 35, and his girlfriend, Tosheba Alford, 20, authorities said. “It was brutal. It was terrible,” said a 47-year-old livery cabdriver who tried to break up the fight. “There were a lot of people watching from their windows and no one was doing anything.” Oscar Porata, 58, who lives on the block, said: “I heard a loud thump, like someone hitting the floor, and that’s when I looked out and saw someone unconscious on the ground.” The couple was in a cab when they started arguing and hopped out near where Guerrero was standing, sources said. When Guerrero, a former Verizon technician, tried to speak with Alford, things turned sour, the sources added. Alford attacked Guerrero and Major kicked him repeatedly, said the cabby. Guerrero was rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where he died. Major and Alford, who live together in Far Rockaway, Queens, were charged with murder. We’re glad that the police charged both of these two with the murder. We’ve heard a lot of ignorant behavior in our day, but this sh*t right here… Source

Sh*t Is Real In The South: 17 Killed As Storms Rip Across Georgia, Alabama, And Mississippi!!

A band of fast-moving storms brought reports of more than one hundred possible tornadoes across the South on Saturday, toppling trees, snapping power lines and bringing the two-day death toll to 17. Emergency crews in Georgia, Mississippi and Alabama worked to assess the damage as the storm system moved north into the Carolinas and southern Virginia, according to the National Weather Service. Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley declared a state of emergency Friday after reports of tornado touchdowns in at least six counties. Three people were also killed in Autauga County after fallen trees crashed into mobile homes in the area, police said. Some of the death toll reads as follows: Three deaths in Washington County were reported, said Yasamie August, spokeswoman for the Alabama Emergency Management Agency. Two other deaths were previously reported in Oklahoma and seven in Arkansas. In Greene County, Mississippi, one death and six injuries were reported, officials said. And if that wasn’t bad enough… Rescue crews found a 34-year-old woman in bed with her 7-year-old, whom she had apparently come to comfort during the overnight storm, said Little Rock Fire Department Capt. Randy Davenport. The two were killed when a giant oak tree fell on the home, Davenport said. An 18-month-old child in another bedroom survived. Source
