R.Kelly’s $3.5 Million Illinois Mansion Auctioned Off For $950,000 According to TMZ reports : This has gotta hurt … R. Kelly’s Illinois mansion was auctioned off Monday for $950,000 — waaaay less than the $3.5-million-mortgage the singer took out to the build the place. Kelly built the 20,000-square-foot dream home back in 1997 — but things took a turn for the worse in 2011 … when his bank tried to foreclose, claiming he hadn’t made mortgage payments for over a year. Kelly tried selling the crib for $1.6 million to block the foreclosure — but no cigar … it sat for a year. The bank then went full bore on foreclosure … and it sold Monday for $950k. The house has 6 bedrooms, 8 baths, an indoor pool, theater room and private lake. Just for the record, this is NOT the house where Robert allegedly “yellow rained” on a young girl. WTF ?!? Petition Asks To Change National Anthem To R. Kelly’s “Ignition” If all goes according to plan, and the White House justice system is upheld and appropriately remixed. The office of American president Barack Obama will have to respond to one of the greatest appeals of our time: a We the People petition to change the national anthem to R. Kelly’s 2003 hit “Ignition (Remix).” Via Daily Dot reports: The undersigned would like the Obama administration to recognize the need for a new national ahem, one that even a decade after its creation is still hot and fresh out the kitchen. America has changed since Francis Scott Key penned our current anthem in 1814. Since then, we have realized that after the show, it’s the after party, and that after the party, it’s the hotel lobby, and—perhaps most importantly—that ’round about four, you’ve got to clear the lobby, at which point it’s strongly recommend that you take it to the room and freak somebody. If that isn’t the American dream, then what is? Just picture R. Kelly singing the new national anthem with a diplomatic durag on and tell us that wouldn’t make you a proud American.
