Ho Sit Down: White Woman Competing On “Divided” TRIES Arguing With Black Man About Black American’s Thoughts [VIDEO]

Divided/Game Show Network 2 Outta 3 White Folks Won’t Challenge Black Man’s Opinion On Game Show Race-Related Question This clip is a prime example of how some folks just don’t know better while most are smart enough to just STFU when a black man knows what he’s talking about. On an upcoming episode of “Divided” they asked four contestants “What do black Americans consider the two most important problems facing this country?” One of the contestants was certain he knew the answer better than the others because he’s a BLACK AMERICAN… But another contestant wasn’t so sure. Black Americans question turns awkward really fast — on DIVIDED, Thursday, August 31 from Game Show Network on Vimeo . SMH @ ol’ girl trying to argue there are plenty of jobs… But how comedy was it when the host asked the other two contestants if they disagreed with bruh? DIVIDED is part game show, part social experiment, as four strangers must work together, tackling questions related to hot-button issues and they must come to a consensus on their answers, to accumulate a cash jackpot. Later, the contestants must all agree on how to divide up the prize money, and the amounts are drastically unequal! It’s a show where the best player doesn’t always win, and often the strongest and loudest personality comes out on top. DIVIDED airs Thursday at 9 & 9:30pm ET/PT, exclusively on GSN.

Race Matters: Over 40,000 People Show Up To Protest “Free Speech” Rally In Boston

Go Nakamura / ZUMA Press / Splash News Boston Shows America’s Greatness, No Thanks To Donald Trump Boston Police Chief: “99.9% of the people were here for the right reason, and that was to fight bigotry and hate” https://t.co/EVTqN7wNUh pic.twitter.com/T0zOI6mLEQ — BuzzFeed News (@BuzzFeedNews) August 20, 2017 As we previously reported, the people of Boston showed up in the thousands to protest a “Free Speech” rally featuring right-wing speakers on Saturday. According to MSN reports , the number of protesters far outnumbered the few dozen rally attendees who showed up for what many feared could become another racist and violent showing like the one in Charlottesville last weekend. Thousands more protestors were prevented from entering Boston Common park by some 500 or so city police officers who placed barricades to stop vehicle entry while a cordon was also built around the site for the rally. Organizers of the Boston rally denounced the violence and white supremacist message of Charlottesville and promised peace at their event. “The point of this is to have political speech from across the spectrum, conservative, libertarian, centrist,” said Chris Hood, an 18-year-old Boston resident who stood among a crowd of a few dozen people who planned to join the Free Speech rally. “This is not about Nazis. If there were Nazis here, I’d be protesting against them.” Meanwhile, the people of Boston were NOT taking kindly to the Trump supporters on the scene Wow.Protestors surround two men in Trump gear and scream profanities, tell them to get the f*^% out of Boston. I asked one why he's here: pic.twitter.com/qRiTjhDXlj — Jessica Weiss (@jessweiss1) August 19, 2017 When two male rally participants wearing Trump’s red “Make America Great Again” campaign hats attempted tried entering the protest pen police set up to separate the two sides they were swarmed by black-clad protesters as the crowd screamed “go home” and “no hate” at them. This is Imani, from CT. She just escorted Trump supporters through a crowd as a situation escalated. Here's why in her words: pic.twitter.com/R8W7XN58jk — Steve Annear (@steveannear) August 19, 2017 Not everyone was hostile however… And back on Twitter, ol boy 45 pretended to know what was going on. SMH. It’s hard to understand how anyone continues to support him. Looks like many anti-police agitators in Boston. Police are looking tough and smart! Thank you. — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 19, 2017 Great job by all law enforcement officers and Boston Mayor @Marty_Walsh . — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 19, 2017 Our great country has been divided for decades. Sometimes you need protest in order to heal, & we will heal, & be stronger than ever before! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 19, 2017 I want to applaud the many protestors in Boston who are speaking out against bigotry and hate. Our country will soon come together as one! — Donald J. Historically, we normally have but examples of Florida being the worst place with the worst people. Recently, there was a vote held to remove that racist statue, but only if private donors paid for it, not the city. The cost of removal was estimated at $150,000. The pro squads released a joint statement of unity in the wake of the violence that took place in Charlottesville: “Recognizing that this monument does not reflect the values of our community, in collaboration with the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, our organizations have dedicated funds to assist in moving the statue from the public space in front of the courthouse.” “Now more than ever before, we must stand united and committed to diversity and inclusion as we all attempt to heal from the tragedy in Charlottesville.” Good on them. Rotten Parents Tell School Kids “Go Back To Mexico” After Winning Robotics Championship

Parents Scream Bigoted Remarks To Winning Robotics Team SMH Via The Root Some salty-azz parents in Indiana decided to be trifling after losing to five Black and Latinx 9-and 10-year-olds in a citywide robotics championship in Indianapolis. The parents and their rotten children screamed “Go back to Mexico” at the winning robotics squad according to witnesses. “They were pointing at us and saying that ‘Oh my God, they are champions of the city all because they are Mexican. They are Mexican, and they are ruining our country,’ ” said Diocelina Herrera, the mother of one of the children. The teacher who lead the team says the kids are written off because of their race when competing. “For the most part, the robotics world is kind of a white world,” said Lisa Hopper, the team’s coach and a Pleasant Run second-grade teacher. “They’re just not used to seeing a team like our kids. And they see us and they think we’re not going to be competition. Then we’re in first place the whole day, and they can’t take it,” she said. The kids seemed pretty stealthy after being racially targeted. The team’s leader, who is 10 said they couldn’t stop his shine! “They yelled out rude comments, and I think that they can talk all they want because at the end we’re still going to Worlds.” He added “It’s not going to affect us at all. I’m not surprised because I’m used to this kind of behavior.” SMH at the kids being used to these types of racial attacks already! The kids are raising money to get to the world championship. For Discussion: The Latest ‘King Kong’ Stars A Black Man, Does That Make The Story Less Racist?

Cultural Critics Dissect The Racial Implications Of Every Single King Kong Film In case you weren’t already aware, there’s a new King Kong movie out called ‘Kong: Skull Island’ which stars Samuel L. Jackson. With the arrival of this latest version, our friends over at NPR took the time to discuss the racist undertones of the previous Kong films — and whether it’s at all possible for this film to avoid those issues. The first King Kong movie, which was released in 1933, starred Fay Wray as the blonde-haired white woman among explorers in search of Skull Island — geographically somewhere near Indonesia, but whose “natives” are normally depicted as dark-skinned savages who kidnap the blonde to sacrifice her to Kong. In later iterations of the film, the woman is played by Jessica Lange (1976), Naomi Watts (2005) and this time Brie Larson. Regardless of the choice in heroine, the figure of Kong pretty much HAS to be taken as a metaphor for black masculinity and it’s easy also to draw the line from that metaphor to one of the black male threat to white women. Members of the panel point out that this time around Samuel L Jackson — who wants revenge against Kong– is there to help prevent that trope of white men coming to the rescue of a white woman in danger from a big black ape. Have a listen below. Have you seen ‘Kong: Skull Island?’ Do you think the film manages to steer completely clear of racial stereotypes? WENN

Bar-less Barbie: Nicki Minaj Has No Plans To Respond To Remy Ma’s Slanderous “shETHER”

Nicki Minaj Isn’t Planning To Release Return Diss To Remy Ma Any Time Soon If you’ve been holding your breath for a Nicki Minaj response to Remy Ma , then either you’re dead as hell, or you need to take a second to breathe. According to TMZ , Nicki Minaj has “no immediate plan” to respond to Remy’s soul-shattering diss song “shETHER”. A source close to Onika says that all of Remy’s alleged lies are being shot down by Trey Songz, Ebro and Lil Wayne so there is no need for her to reply. Instead of writing bars , Nicki is carrying on with her life and posting Instagram pic after Instagram pic to prove how much she is unbothered by Reminisce’s raunchy rhetoric. None of this is to say that Nicki will NEVER respond, but it doesn’t look like it’s gonna happen anytime soon because she feel like she’s winning without saying a word. Sounds lame. Rappers should rap, but maybe Nicki just wants to be considered a pop star. *shrug* Peep what Nicki has been doing in the meantime on the flip… Image via Instagram

Liquor Power Couple In Hot Water Over Blackface Pics

Ann R. Tuennerman, founder of Tales of the Cocktail And Husband Paul In Blackface Incident A New Orleans couple who founded a major cocktail conference has plunged themselves into a racial firestorm after the husband posted a picture of his wife clad in blackface and an afro. In now deleted Facebook posts, Paul Tuennerman last week uploaded a video of his wife in blackface and an afro with the caption, “As he said ‘Throw a little Black Face on and you lose all your Media Skills.’ He did his best as the Interviewer.” The Tuennerman’s founded Tales of the Cocktail, a mixology conference that draws some 15,000 to 20,000 bartenders and mixologists from around the world, and pulls in millions a year in sales. Ann Tuennerman has since apologized, while her husband Paul resigned from Tales of the Cocktail last week, calling the blackface stunt “stupid,” and “was meant to be a husband’s innocent teasing of his camera-shy wife, not a belittlement of others.” But Joseph Solis, a mixologist for 15 years who works with Hennessy and founded the Sol Hospitality Group, said the blackface incident shows that there is a need for diversity and inclusion initiatives within the mixology and bartending industry. “I’ve been going there (Tales of the Cocktail) for years and I can’t count how many times I’ve been the only chocolate chip in the cookie,” Solis said. “I think it’s disgusting. I think it’s inappropriate and I think it’s inexcusable.” The blackface incident has also caused an uproar among bartenders of color around the country, many of whom said that they’ve been made to feel less than in the traditionally white male-dominated industry. Solis agreed: “Consider how much money people of color spend on alcohol,” he said. “This story needs to be told.” Tales of the Cocktail, Facebook

Ill Mama: Did Foxy Brown Secretly Give Birth To A Baby Girl?

What Nicki/Remy beef??? Foxy Brown Allegedly Gives Birth Rumors are currently swirling that while she got dissed in the midst of that Remy Ma/Nicki Minaj beef, Foxy Brown’s been busy with motherhood. On Thursday Wendy Williams dropped an exclusive bomb on her show that Inga Marchand a.k.a. Foxy Brown had given birth. “Congratulations to Foxy Brown,” said Wendy. “She had a baby girl. She also hinted that the father might be a famed reggae star but didn’t reveal his identity. “No word on exactly who the baby’s father is but allegedly it’s a reggae star and I’m not going to say his name because I think that me and Foxy have some sort of relationship,” said the talk show host. 1:30 People now think the baby’s dad could be reggae star Sizzla. Back in November Foxy, 38, posted a photo with a Sizzla song playing in the background after a doctor put her on bed rest. “My Holiday Weekend Was Spent Hospitalized, And (Per My Dr’s Orders) To Remain On Bed Rest,” Foxy captioned the photo. Bed rest??? Should we have known she was pregnant? An alleged photo of Foxy and her baby girl has surfaced; hit the flip to see it.

Ni**a Nuance: Young & Restless Star Eric Braeden Is Anti “Ni**er” But Pro “Ni**a”

White Guy Eric Braeden Explains The Different Uses Of The N-Word Drama king Eric Braeden , of The Young And The Restless fame, recently revealed that he is very understanding of the the differences between “ni**er” and “ni**a”. So understanding in fact that he explained the ni**a nuances to a Toronto Sun reporter when asked about a recent Twitter hack where is face was on a meme baring the n-word. What was it like when your Twitter account was hacked? Especially for someone who is anti-racism, to have your face on a meme with the N-word on it. I don’t give a damn because I know what I feel. And even that tweet was taken out of context. It is an affectionate term African-American guys use with each other. It’s an affectionate term amongst themselves. God forbid someone else use it. I’ve heard that kind of addressing each other in boxing gyms where I’ve spent a lot of time — you just hear that. Otherwise, if it’s meant in its pejorative form then obviously I resent it enormously. “God forbid someone else use it”? A lil condescending there, old head. Can’t acknowledge very insular way in which BLACK folks use “ni**a”, then say “God forbid…”. SMFH. Image via WENN
