Rosie Perez Quits ‘The View’ After Being Forced To Apologize To Kelly Osbourne F*** the ABC executives as a station, a staff and a muthaf***in’ crew. Surely you haven’t forgotten that Kelly Osbourne put her racist cankles in her mouth last week on live TV when she suggested that Donald Trump shouldn’t champion immigration reform because there would not be any latino people to clean his toilets. Well, it appears that Kelly’s comments have resulted in Rosie Perez’s early resignation from the s#!t show known as “The View” Via DailyMail Rosie Perez canceled her last appearances on The View after being forced to apologize to Kelly Osbourne for her anger at her co-star’s racist remark about Latinos, Daily Mail Online can reveal exclusively today. Rosie refused to turn up for her two, final live shows last week and skipped several, pre-taped appearances after having an intense blow-up with ABC executives over Kelly’s on-air comment. Kelly, 30, caused outrage after asking: ‘If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?’ during a Hot Topics segment about Donald Trump’s poll numbers within the community last Tuesday. A silence fell over the studio audience as other co-hosts were clearly taken aback. After a pause, Rosie, who has Puerto Rican heritage, mumbled: ‘Oh, that’s not… oh, no!’ and shook her head in disbelief. Sounds like an extremely reserved response on Rosie’s part considering extremely disrespectful nature of what the chubby white jawn said. When the cameras cut away, the daughter of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne and The Talk co-host Sharon Osbourne burst into tears. ‘Everyone is going to think I’m racist. I can’t believe this,’ she cried, as producers of the show and her personal handlers ran to her side. At the time, ABC execs cornered Rosie during the break and demanded she apologize to Kelly in the last segment of the live broadcast, a source told Daily Mail Online. The show resumed and the topic wasn’t addressed again until the end of the show. During the last segment, Rosie started with: ‘I want to apologize to this young woman once again for being very sensitive.’ Kelly asked: ‘Why? You had every right.’ Why the F*** did Rosie owe the chubby white jawn an apology?!?! Daily Mail Online has learned that ABC executives then gathered in Rosie’s room and demanded that she tweet an apology to her co-star. She told them: ‘I’ve already done more than enough by apologizing on air,’ before a loud argument took place. The source added: ‘She and the ABC executives had it out. She was yelling at them at the top of her lungs that their demands were disrespectful. ‘They were telling her that she better do exactly as they said. It was an ugly scene and Rosie was crying uncontrollably and outraged.’ Rosie posted a tweet on her official account, which read: ‘My apologies @KellyOsbourne, I took your point wrong-#Trump #Latinos. My bad. Your heart is so pure & righteous. I adore you. @TheView.’ After the Twitter post, Rosie then declared that she was ‘done with this f****** show’ and told the executives ‘to kiss her a**’ before storming out of the building and vowing never to return to ‘this s***hole of a place!’ If you’re keeping score at home, the racist tugboat commonly known as Kelly Osbourne is still employed by ABC after uttering a terribly offensive diatribe about latin people, and Rosie Perez, a latina woman, no longer has a job because she was angry at what Kelly said. ‘Merica. Jeb Bush Says Black Lives Matters Movement Is Just A Slogan Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush dismissed the Black Lives Matter movement and its eponymous chant as a political “slogan” Thursday, and said potential Democratic rival and former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley should not have apologized for saying “white lives matter” during a protest last weekend at Netroots Nation. Via MSNBC : “If he believes that white lives matter, which I hope he does, then he shouldn’t apologize to a group that seems to disagree with it,” the Republican presidential candidate told reporters Thursday at a town hall in New Hampshire. The Black Lives Matter movement, sparked largely in response to recent killings of unarmed African-Americans by white police officers, shook up the presidential election this week following a surprise protest at the annual Netroots Nation conference in Phoenix, Arizona. On Saturday, the progressive gathering was interrupted when black activists took the stage during a presidential candidate forum, forcing O’Malley and fellow White House hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont into uncomfortable territory as they struggled to respond to questions on race relations and police violence. O’Malley came under fire for adding “white lives matter, all lives matter” to the protesters’ calls – a statement he has since apologized for. But Bush said Thursday that O’Malley had nothing to be sorry about. “I mean, we’re so uptight and so politically correct now that we apologize for saying ‘lives matter?’” Bush said. “Life is precious, it’s a gift from God. I frankly think that it’s one of the most important values that we have. I know in the political context, it’s a slogan, I guess. And should he have apologized? No.” Earlier in the day, Democratic presidential candidate and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton – who skipped this year’s Netroots and was, therefore, spared from the ambush – attempted to soar where her rivals had floundered on the issue and spoke at length about racial justice. Addressing a packed church in South Carolina, where an apparent hate crime recently left nine African-American parishioners dead, Clinton said: “It is essential that we all stand up and say loudly and clearly, ‘Yes, black lives matter.’” Discuss… YT

Officer Assaults 11-Year-Old Girl Video has surfaced of a February incident in which an 11-year-old innocent bystander was roughly slammed to the pavement by an NYPD officer. The civil rights lawyer handling the case explains at length what transpired before this officer forcefully manhandled this 6th grader to the ground. Via HuffPost : Take a look at this video, in which a white male New York City police lieutenant grabbed a 6th grade elementary school student of color — big for her age but only 11 years old — around the neck and threw her to the pavement on a Bronx street corner, six months after Eric Garner was wrestled down on a Staten Island pavement. (The video is grainy because it was copied from a surveillance camera onto a phone before the family came to me seeking legal representation; the original surveillance videotape was automatically taped over). Here’s the background. This past February, after school was out for the day, some boys from the school were throwing snowballs at a passing car. When the driver got out to yell at them — and put one of the boys in a headlock — his smartphone fell out of his pocket and another boy picked it up. Upon realizing his phone was gone, the driver chased down one of the boys and threatened to call the police if the phone was not returned, and when it was not forthcoming, he did, apparently using someone else’s phone. This 6th grader — let’s call her Angie — and a classmate were walking from school to the bus stop when they saw some of this. They were bystanders who had nothing to do with either the snowballs or the phone. But as the police arrived, the girls exchanged words as to whether they should stay to watch, or go, and then took off running for a block before stopping. The driver — the man in the white jacket with the knapsack in the video — seeing Angie running, suspected — wrongly — that she was part of the group and had his phone. He approached Angie and asked for his phone. She told him she didn’t have his phone. Shortly thereafter, as the video starts, this police lieutenant crossed the street, motioning for Angie to come toward him, which she did. But instead of engaging her verbally and asking her anything, like her name, or about the phone, he grabbed her by the arm and pulled her roughly toward him. Shocked, and scared, we can see her trying to protest, but he does not let go; instead, he escalates the situation, pushing her toward the camera, frightening her even more, and then grabs her around the neck and throws her to the ground, where he rolls her over and rear cuffs her. It was totally unnecessary and gratuitous police violence, borne out of the same disrespect which animated the violence visited upon Mr. Garner. If Angie were white on the Upper East Side rather than Hispanic in the Bronx, would it have happened? Hopefully the family gets everythung they are asking for and more. This young girl is probably traumatized by what happened to her. SMH. YouTube
Transgender Inmate Raped 8th Time After Request Was Denied Remember that transgender inmate who wanted to get get hormone treatments while in jail? Well, the Via Think Progress : Early this year, a transgender woman filed a federal lawsuit demanding better protections, alleging she has been raped seven times, punched, stomped, raped and knocked unconscious. Now, in the midst of her legal battle, Ashley Alton Diamond claims she was raped again and pressured to stay silent about it. Diamond, who began her prison stint in 2012, filed a lawsuit last February, saying she was raped in more than one correctional facility and denied hormonal treatments that she had previously taken for 17 years. While behind bars, she tried to commit suicide and castrate herself, later explaining that “[she] would rather die” than be raped in the future. In April, she filed a motion to be transferred out of the Georgia State Prison, arguing she was brought there in retaliation for filing the lawsuit months before and detailing the ways she was sexually harassed there as well. But her request was denied on the grounds that she did not prove “there is a substantial risk of serious harm and that the defendants are deliberately indifferent to that risk.” Due to a Justice Department intervention, Diamond is taking hormonal treatments again, but a status report filed by the Southern Poverty Law Center, which represents Diamond, alleges Diamond was raped in June, at the very prison she was trying to get away from in April. According to the report, Diamond’s cellmate raped her and threatened her to keep quiet. The report also claims the GSP warden disclosed what happened to her to other inmates, who have subsequently harassed and threatened her for speaking up. “Ms. Diamond presently is afraid of leaving her dormitory, including for meals, without an escort,” it reads. The lawsuit is still pending, but Diamond’s case casts a light on the systemic mistreatment of incarcerated trans women, which stems in large part from being locked up with men. Sexual abuse is a prevalent problem. For instance, another trans woman serving time in Georgia was forced share a protective custody cell with the man she was supposed to be protected from — then subsequently raped by him. Some women are gang raped by fellow inmates, and others are sexually assaulted by prison staff. But abuse takes other forms as well, including the denial of hormone treatment and sex reassignment surgery, as well as the use of solitary confinement as a form of protective custody. Do you think the inmate should have granted the change of transfer???
Zoe Kravitz Shut Out Of ‘Dark Knight’ Casting Due To Race Even though she used to identify as a white girl , Zoe Kravitz has quickly had to learn Hollywood’s racist ropes . In her most recent magazine interview, the starlet reveals that she was even shut out of auditioning for The Dark Knight movie franchise — specifically because they weren’t in the market for “urban” actors. Via USWeekly : Where’s Batman when you need him to save the day? Zoe Kravitz said in a new interview with Nylon magazine that she was unjustly shut out of an audition for The Dark Knight Rises because of her ethnicity. “In the last Batman movie, they told me that I couldn’t get an audition for a small role they were casting because they weren’t ‘going urban,’” Kravitz, 26, said in the August issue’s cover story. “It was like, ‘What does that have to do with anything?’ I have to play the role like, ‘Yo, what’s up, Batman? What’s going on wit chu?’” The daughter of rocker Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet — both of whom are biracial — the star has been careful about the roles she chooses as she grows her film career. Kravitz’s credits now include parts in the critically acclaimed Dope, Divergent, and Mad Max: Fury Road, and she is weary about getting typecast anytime soon. “I don’t want to play everyone’s best friend,” she told Nylon. “I don’t want to play the role of a girl struggling in the ghetto. It’s not that that story isn’t important, but I saw patterns and was like, ‘I don’t relate to these people.’” Looks like she’s well on her way to breaking out of those molds, right?
Alabama Man Dies After Cops Pepper Spray Him A Black man in Tuscaloosa, Alabama died after officers used pepper spray to subdue him when he resisted arrest, police said on Saturday. Via RawStory : Police received a call on Friday night that a man armed with a gun was sitting on a porch at an apartment complex in the city, Tuscaloosa police said in a statement on their Facebook page. Police later identified the man as Anthony Ware, a 35-year-old African-American, the Tuscaloosa News reported on its website. When officers arrived, the man ran into nearby woods and was chased by officers who used the pepper spray before placing him in handcuffs as he resisted arrest, police said. He later collapsed as he was walking out of the woods, police said. Police conduct in the United States has been under scrutiny over the past year after a series of deaths of black men in confrontations with police that have provoked protests over the treatment of minorities by law enforcement. The Tuscaloosa News reported Ware was pursued by six police officers, including at least three white officers as well as a black officer and an Asian-America officer. Police plan to release video of the arrest from a vehicle dash cam and body cameras, Tuscaloosa’s assistant police chief, Ronnie Dunn, told a news conference on Saturday, according to the Tuscaloosa News. Police said they tried to revive Ware when he collapsed and that he was rushed to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The Tuscaloosa County homicide unit will investigate the death, police said. A representative from the Tuscaloosa Police Department did not return calls for further comment. Police brutality has to end!
